I want to shine a light on all the content
creators in the media here getting up every single day,
standing in the hot sun, the rain, covering this Deddy trial,
breaking the news to all of us and everyone over
the world.
Speaker 5 (01:52):
Things are winding down. It was like a little family.
Speaker 4 (01:54):
Yeah, I mean it was like a family. We've had drama,
we got fights. When I'll we party.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
It got more.
Speaker 4 (02:00):
It feels like, you know, school's ending sooner. I'm gonna
be sad when everything's done.
Speaker 5 (02:04):
I feel like you got attacked.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
Oh god, I got attacked many times. And I've also
cursed the people out.
Speaker 5 (02:08):
Too, So you know why you right, why they messing
with you?
Speaker 2 (02:11):
I don't know what you know, when you got it,
you got it.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
I wonder how Diddy's gonna feel about you, if he's
ever going to try to reach out.
Speaker 5 (02:17):
Have his people ever reached out?
Speaker 2 (02:19):
Like you know what? I feel like they know who
I am, but they just don't speak.
Speaker 4 (02:22):
Some of them speak, I mean, you know, sometimes they waved,
you know, and sometimes they don't.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
But I feel like I've been in the middle for
the most part.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
WHOA, Okay, well yeah, well that's a good shine of light.
Speaker 5 (02:34):
Now tells her who do you want to shine a
light on?
Speaker 6 (02:37):
Honey? I want to shine the light on me.
Speaker 5 (02:39):
Okay, I'm not mad at it.
Speaker 6 (02:41):
October third, twenty nineteen, my colon ruptured. Whoa, I became sepsis.
Speaker 5 (02:48):
Oh my god, Chang.
Speaker 6 (02:50):
Doctor change from Saint Trinity House. She saved my life.
So when it was all said and done, I woke
up with minus three feet.
Speaker 5 (02:59):
Of my large and check oh my goodness.
Speaker 6 (03:01):
And ilostomy bags sitting on my stomach. And I'm a
social worker. I got my undergrad in two thousand and
one from University Kentucky, and I got my master's in
twenty fourteen. Girl with a three point nine and one
of the single.
Speaker 5 (03:14):
Oh no, that's right. Let's shine a light on you, baby.
Speaker 6 (03:17):
Period from Eastern Michigan University.
Speaker 5 (03:20):
Okay, I love to see it.
Speaker 6 (03:22):
I had an ileostomy bag from October third, twenty nineteen
until January tenth of twenty twenty. Honey, when the Lord
Jamie heal from the inside out, I got what's called
a reconnect.
Speaker 5 (03:34):
We definitely got to shine a light on you.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
You've been through a lot, but you are thriving and
we love to see that to show what is possible.
I love that you called up here to shine a
light on you. Your doctor who did all this for
you too.
Speaker 6 (03:45):
Yes, Trinity House.
Speaker 5 (03:47):
Trinity House, Well, thank you out, thank you so much
for colling. We love you, love you more.
Speaker 6 (03:52):
Bye.
Speaker 5 (03:53):
Well that was.
Speaker 3 (03:53):
Shining light eight hundred and two ninety two fifty one
fifty in case you couldn't get through. And I mind,
you know, I love talking about money and being in
the pockets. Well, Cameron just got a deal and it's
a nice one to write his memoir.
Speaker 5 (04:04):
We'll talk about it. It's way up.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
The rooms from Industry Shade to all of gosput Angela's
speeling that et.
Speaker 3 (04:14):
It's way up at Angela yea, I'm here with armand Wiggins.
Speaker 5 (04:19):
Let's get into this yet.
Speaker 3 (04:21):
So Cameron's getting seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars to
write his memoir.
Speaker 5 (04:25):
Wow from Simon and Schuster. Shout out to that man.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
Shout out to Cameron, like he's a legend.
Speaker 5 (04:30):
Okay, and I can I cannot lie.
Speaker 3 (04:33):
I do want to see what's in this memoir. Absolutely,
because he's a pretty funny person.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
I was just gonna say that.
Speaker 4 (04:38):
I think that he's funny, he's entertaining, and I want
to know all the details about the pink.
Speaker 3 (04:42):
Oh yeah, when he was wearing the pink and that
pink fur and that went crazy for him. In addition
to that, you know, he's got his multi million dollar
deal with Revolt for his show Talk with Flee, and
then obviously he has to show with Mace as well.
That's been named one of the top sports podcasts. It
is what it is, So shout out to him. That's
(05:03):
a lot.
Speaker 4 (05:04):
Yeah, I think that that's dope. I mean, he's been
one of those people that's been able to evolve with
the times and still stay relevant. And like you said,
Cameron's super funny.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
Well, he said the book is hopefully going to be
out February of twenty twenty six.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
I'm down. We shall read it all right.
Speaker 3 (05:17):
Now, another duo that has been making ways of podcasts
is Joe and Jada, right, but now Fat Joe has
these allegations against him, and he has put out a
statement responding. He said, I've been tested the last few months.
I've lost my big brother, my father, my mother, and
now I'm fighting against these disgusting lies. He said, I've
had individuals and my circle take my love and kindness
(05:37):
for weakness, but how many times must we forgive them?
I've had people still from me, grow jealous of me,
lie on me. Through it all, Me and my family
are the ones stuck dealing with the consequences of their
bad decisions. So he said that people will threaten you
with the lawsuit, they'll make up in sane stories. They
think that she'll just pay them, and then they'll feel
like they won.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (05:56):
I don't know, man, I just feel like I don't
believe all of this stuff because I think now we're
at a time where you just throw sexual allegations on
a person just because you're upset, and you know, people
believe it, you know, and they've seen what happened with Cassie.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
She got that payout, and people are like, all right,
I'm want to pay out too, right.
Speaker 3 (06:14):
So there, and you can read this full complaint that
was follows one hundred and fifty seven pages that his
former hype man has against him, which is what he's referencing.
I can't imagine how hard it must be to have
to deal with allegations, you know what. Else, it's annoying
because when things like this get posted. When he posted it,
I do look at what people say in the comments,
and just the fact that he said it, I've been tested.
(06:36):
He said, I've lost my big brother and my father
and my mother. People will be like, oh, he lying
because he's what like it's going to the internet for
sympathy is probably one of the worst things.
Speaker 5 (06:47):
But that's just how he started it.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
Then the rest of it is just just kind of
you know, sometimes it's like do I say something? Do
I not say something? So clearly putting out this statement
with something that's not easy. It took him a few
days to finally be like, I think.
Speaker 4 (07:00):
It's unfortunate because we always want to believe that the
person is guilty right away. It's like that's the first
thing we do. And a lot of people even did
that with the Diddy situation, and now they're all renigging,
like no, he's innocent, He's innocent, you know, and they
just wanted money. So I don't know why we always
jumped the gun to just assume and believe that this
person is always a predator just because they're famous.
Speaker 3 (07:19):
Or rich, all right, and that you know, it hurts
for people who actually, you know, a lot of women
won't come forward because I will say the opposite is
also true. I find that a lot of times women
do say things and people automatically don't believe them because
they don't believe someone they love could do something like that.
Speaker 5 (07:36):
Sure, all right, well that is your YEETI.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
When we come back about last night, you know, I
want to hear what was going on last night, armand
when you guys were at the courthouse.
Speaker 5 (07:45):
What was happening. I read about it on TMZ, but
I need to hear it from you.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
All right, We're gonna get into it.
Speaker 5 (07:50):
It's way up.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
So about last night, Yes, I went down.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
All right, his way up at the Angela yees, Darring,
armand Wigan and what did you do last night?
Speaker 2 (08:03):
Angela? I went to sleep.
Speaker 5 (08:07):
It wasn't as well.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
Today's not as hot. Yesterday was hot. I know you
would having an air conditioning.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
Oh my god, it was so hot.
Speaker 6 (08:13):
I was.
Speaker 4 (08:13):
I was drained from that courtroom. We went to Brooklyn
chop House. I had some drinks and then I was like,
all right, I'm going to bed because I wanted to
come here house.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
Well, yesterday I went out to eat. I actually went
to this event at the chef's cellar. So it was
like a special invite only was in the kitchen and
so Douce was hosting it and they actually were serving
us different drinks piered with what was on the menu.
So the head chef for Aliya and Continental, I mean
Continent at the Indigo Hotel Indigo in Brooklyn and Williamsburg
(08:47):
was there and Alia was there, and so they were
basically walking us through like peerings of different food with
different drinks and conversation.
Speaker 5 (08:57):
So it was really nice. So shout out to everybody
that was there.
Speaker 3 (08:59):
In my Jerry, my girl, Ursula, justin what was my favorite?
Let me see, Well, you know I love dessert, but
I'm gonna say because there was beef and seaput on
the menu.
Speaker 5 (09:13):
They made me a couple of special things.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
So they had these carrots and this type of like
I don't know what this sauce was, but it was
like a full meal inside of I think it's banana leaf, right,
that sounds right, Okay, So yeah, so I had that
and that was amazing, I honestly. And then the salad,
this salad had like whipped goat cheese under it, and
then it had they kind of like flamed these these pears.
(09:39):
Was it pears, yeah, pears to put on I mean
it was no, it was peaches that they put on top.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
See, I've never been like a fruit and salad.
Speaker 5 (09:45):
I love salad.
Speaker 3 (09:48):
Like one of my favorite things is to put like
strawberries or apples or whatever in a salad.
Speaker 5 (09:53):
That is my jam right there. So that was really good.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
I'm gonna have to try that.
Speaker 5 (09:56):
Yes, So we had a good time. We had good conversation.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
One of the things we talked about was following your
passion versus doing something that you're just good at, which
is a good.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
Topic, get very good topic.
Speaker 3 (10:08):
Because sometimes you got to do what you're good at
to make money. People always will tell you, like follow
your passion, follow your passion. But what if that's not profitable?
Speaker 5 (10:15):
All right?
Speaker 3 (10:15):
Well, when we come back, Jella Ball is going to
be joining us. And you know he had the Tweaker
song that went crazy, but he's got new music out.
He's got an album on the way, signed a deal
with def Jam, and he's on the Double XL Freshman
List and he's got a song out right now featuring Glorella,
which is huge, So shout out to him.
Speaker 5 (10:33):
But he'll be joining us. It's way up.
Speaker 1 (10:38):
This is way up with Angela.
Speaker 7 (10:39):
Ye.
Speaker 8 (10:40):
Let's go.
Speaker 1 (10:41):
You are a media maven, right, you.
Speaker 2 (10:43):
Never know what Ang's gonna say.
Speaker 5 (10:46):
What's up?
Speaker 3 (10:46):
His way up with Angela? Yee, perfect timing for this
interview to happen. Jella is here or aka le Angela Ball.
Congratulations was good.
Speaker 8 (10:54):
I appreciate it, and.
Speaker 5 (10:55):
Welcome to the show. Double XL Freshman List.
Speaker 8 (10:58):
Yeah, that was some hard news for me too. I
just found out.
Speaker 5 (11:01):
So where were you when you found out that you
were going to be on the list.
Speaker 7 (11:05):
I was in LA when they told me, do I
want to like try out for it or whatever. I
don't know how they worked that thing, but that's like
you want to do something with double XL.
Speaker 8 (11:12):
When I was in LA and I had to fly
to Atlanta and.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
Go do that.
Speaker 5 (11:15):
It's like you got drafted.
Speaker 8 (11:16):
Yeah, pretty much like free styling and all that.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
How is all of this for you? Being like a
star when it comes to the music business.
Speaker 7 (11:25):
I feel like I belong. When I came from hoops,
it wasn't like a much different feeling from playing and
being in front of everybody and being.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
In alarm like.
Speaker 3 (11:33):
But you know, it's interesting because when you put Tweaker out,
people weren't anticipating that song to catch on the way
that it weighed.
Speaker 7 (11:39):
I wasn't anticipating it either. I had that song for
like a week, but yeah, blew up junk me for real?
Speaker 5 (11:45):
Jello, do you still want to play basketball?
Speaker 8 (11:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (11:47):
I still play though, but yeah, I would like to
play in the NBA. But I'm doing this now.
Speaker 5 (11:52):
So it's like, is this more fun?
Speaker 8 (11:53):
You think? Yeah? You can be yourself in rack. It
ain't no rules like that.
Speaker 3 (11:58):
That's great to see that you came out like that,
had a huge song. We're able to do festivals, got
a record deal, made it to the Freshman list, and
you've been putting out music consistently since then. But you
are supposed to have the album coming out, was it?
I heard it was pushed back.
Speaker 7 (12:11):
Yeah, I pushed it back. I just felt like you
needed more features on it. I only had the Glorilla
feature on there.
Speaker 5 (12:17):
Oh we like that though.
Speaker 7 (12:18):
I liked it till I left it on there. But
I'm saying I want to add like four five more
artists on one.
Speaker 5 (12:22):
Okay, when do you anticipate that coming out?
Speaker 7 (12:25):
What the music's done. I'm just waiting on them to
get back to me type stuff. So it's gonna be
some surprises on there. It's gonna drop into July.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
I guess Jello Ball is joining us right now, double
exel freshman Jello Ball. That is alright, And I'm looking
to see if you wear in a ring nah, okay,
because I was going to say congratulations, but I wasn't sure.
Speaker 5 (12:46):
Nothing with that with that, Okay, So you happy? Everything's good?
Speaker 8 (12:50):
Yeah? Cool? Everybody good for real?
Speaker 3 (12:53):
You think there's misconceptions about you very much, so, every
one of them from what I hear from what people
say about you. They think you chilled, think you cool,
laid back.
Speaker 8 (13:02):
That's nice.
Speaker 3 (13:03):
Yeah, sometimes it'd be like he was high during this
interview here be high like that.
Speaker 5 (13:10):
So what are the misconceptions about you? You think?
Speaker 8 (13:13):
I don't know, probably anything bad. You heard.
Speaker 5 (13:21):
He's just perfect.
Speaker 7 (13:22):
No, I ain't perfect, but I think different. I say,
I don't think like the normal human being. So you're
not going to relate or understand where I'm coming from,
so don't even try them.
Speaker 3 (13:30):
All right, Well, congratulations and everything being in here when
the album's going to come out. Congratulations on the doublic
Soeuth freshman list too, you know, and it's great to
see just having watched you from when you were younger
to where you are now. You're the middle child, right,
you know there's a lot of theories about middle kids too.
Speaker 2 (13:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (13:47):
I heard a couple thank you, thinking were the outcast
or something.
Speaker 5 (13:50):
You think that's true.
Speaker 8 (13:51):
I'm for sure.
Speaker 7 (13:51):
Getting called first to clean some stuff, to wash up with,
to move something. Okay, that's all. It's like one one
one dude in the house. That's all my buscles coming that.
I'm like, call one of them.
Speaker 8 (14:05):
Well I'll be like, yeah, I got used to it,
all right.
Speaker 3 (14:07):
Well, good to see. Well, thank you so much for
coming through. Thank you all right, well, thank you so much.
The jello ball for joining us and when we come back,
we got your ye t.
Speaker 5 (14:16):
Let's talk about Peter Gunns.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
He has responded to Amina, his ex wife, saying that
she is homeless, and she has responded to that response.
Speaker 5 (14:23):
It's way up.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
Sure, she's about to blow the lid off this spot.
Let's get it, angelus feeling that yeeze, come and get
the tea.
Speaker 5 (14:31):
That's way up.
Speaker 3 (14:31):
But Angela, yee me and our mind Wiggins are here
and let's talk about French Montana first. For Yet, he
was on Rae Ali's podcast sited with Raye Ali and
she asked a question that he didn't like and he
got out of there.
Speaker 5 (14:46):
Here's what happened.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
But speaking of beefs, what's the status of things with
Ross and Drake?
Speaker 8 (14:53):
Hold us hold it touch down.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
I'll be right back. I think I double park from
my car outside.
Speaker 5 (14:59):
Whoa, And then he didn't connect.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
Listen.
Speaker 4 (15:02):
I'm mad at Ropper asking a question. I mean, that's
her job to get the question for the people. And
whether he stayed and answered the question or walked out,
she still got her moments. So you can't go on
these podcasts. And I think that people are going to
want to know the tea.
Speaker 3 (15:12):
I do think he could have just said I don't know, yeah,
because she asked about Drake and Rick Russ. And then
remember there was that a live stream journalist that asked
him about the you know, he was talking to friends
about the met gala he loved talking about fashion, and
then asked if he spoke to Ditty recently, and that's
when things went left and yeah, he you know, clearly
(15:34):
at this time is like, I Do'm not talking about
nothing I don't feel like talking about.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
But you should probably tell them that.
Speaker 3 (15:41):
And I don't know if he did, because sometimes people
you do tell people I don't want to talk about that,
and they might I don't know that that's true or not,
but I'm saying sometimes that still happens anyway.
Speaker 4 (15:49):
But let's be honest, like Freschmont Towne, you know we're
going to ask you about that. Yeah, I know, we
want to know that. That's part of the reason why
you're sitting up here.
Speaker 3 (15:56):
I think part of the issue is learning how to
answer questions you don't want to answer. Right, there's a
way to do it, and you can say that's not
something I care to discuss. Next question and.
Speaker 4 (16:07):
You also have to understand that's give and take. You
want your coming on a platform because you want to
promote something, and you got to give something back to
the platform. That's you know, we want something.
Speaker 5 (16:15):
Right right, Yeah, give us the T, give us the T.
Speaker 2 (16:19):
That's why you're here.
Speaker 5 (16:21):
All right now.
Speaker 3 (16:22):
Peter Gunns has broken his silence after a mina his
ex wife says that she doesn't have a place to
live with their kids. She lost their house in LA
because of financial issues, and you know, she went live
and talked about that.
Speaker 9 (16:37):
We don't have a home, y'all. We're in Germany with
my family and we're going to be here too. I
figure it out because I will, as I always do.
But the last couple of years have been so rough,
working my butt off, not making enough money, end up
losing my place.
Speaker 3 (16:56):
Yeah, so yeah, issues there now. We told you yesterday
Peter Gunn said he was gonna go live at once
and did and did and he was there with Godfree shout.
That's my guy, God Free. He's in the middle of
he's in the thick of it. And here's what Peter
guns had to say.
Speaker 10 (17:10):
I have apartment in Dallas, I said, I mean of
just go stay in Dallas.
Speaker 2 (17:14):
What am I gonna do in Dallas?
Speaker 8 (17:15):
Live ret free?
Speaker 10 (17:17):
I send a mean of thousands every month. It's just
that she wasn't even able to hold her sign. I
had no idea that she was gonna leave, thinking that
she was homeless. I bought around trip ticket. They come
back on the twenty third or August. I feel so up.
I feel a little betrayed.
Speaker 3 (17:32):
Okay, So it's nice to hear that he's doing what
he's supposed to be doing as far as financially being supportive,
saying that you could live in the you know, in
this house with the kids.
Speaker 5 (17:42):
The kids are beautiful, by the.
Speaker 2 (17:43):
Way, beautiful family. Oh my god, they're wordious. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (17:46):
All right. Now here's what Amana had to say after
Peter Guns went live.
Speaker 9 (17:49):
He hasn't always been the best, but I have to
point out he's been holding us down and I'm very
thankful for him.
Speaker 5 (17:59):
Everything in my life.
Speaker 8 (18:00):
It's great.
Speaker 5 (18:00):
I take care of myself.
Speaker 9 (18:02):
I'm mentally and physically in the best shape I've ever been.
Speaker 5 (18:06):
I just don't got no money, and no, he did
not make me post this.
Speaker 4 (18:10):
I don't money, and I respect her for that because
you know, Peter doesn't have the best reputation, so people
only in and.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
Ever ready to drag him. And she was like, it
ain't him, he's doing this thing. It was me. I
just ain't got no money.
Speaker 4 (18:20):
But I didn't do this for that, you guys, So
you know, pipe down and I respect it.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
He's also concerned that her being in Germany, is she
gonna be able to get back in the country.
Speaker 5 (18:28):
Ooh with Trump in office.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
Yeah, that's pretty scary.
Speaker 5 (18:31):
All right, Well that is your yut.
Speaker 3 (18:32):
When we come back under the radar, these are the
stories that are not necessarily in the headlines. They are
flying under the radar. And speaking of Trump, you know,
we got to give you some updates to there. Oh
my goodness, it's way up.
Speaker 1 (18:43):
I got news this in the news that relates to you.
These stories are flying under the radar.
Speaker 5 (18:48):
It's way up.
Speaker 3 (18:49):
But Angela, yeah, I'm here with our mind. Wiggins, don't
give me nothing today.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
Please listen. You did it.
Speaker 5 (18:56):
Well, let's talk about these stories right now.
Speaker 3 (18:59):
Supreme Court has now allowed states to cut off Medicaid
money to Planned parenthood. This ruling was made actually today
as Republicans are trying to defund Planned Parenthood, and I
always have to stress this. Planned Parenthood does not just
do abortions. That's the smallest fraction of the services that
they provide, But in their head, planned parenthood equals abortion.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (19:22):
I just feel like when I was growing up, planned
parenthood was a very pivotal part of my life. Just
being as a gay male, I would get tested a
lot there, and when I didn't want to tell my
parents and things that I was going to get tested,
planned parenthood would be a place where I would go
get tested and I even wanted to show up on
my insurance and things like that. So planned parenthood was
a big part of my childhood, like trying to grow
(19:45):
up as a young adult.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
So I don't like that.
Speaker 3 (19:47):
I mean, they do all kinds of things, cancer screening,
they do pregnancy testing, they do contraception. So and in general,
by the way, public health care money can't be used
to pay for abortions, so Medicaid patients go to plan
parent it for other needs because it can be hard
to find a doctor that takes publicly funded insurance. And
(20:08):
so this is going to just be yet another obstacle.
And that's just because of the perception of it to them.
Speaker 2 (20:13):
Yeah, and I just.
Speaker 4 (20:14):
Feel like every few years planned planing here it is
under attack and I just feel like we need those resources.
Speaker 5 (20:19):
Yeah, so that's a shame.
Speaker 3 (20:22):
But anyway, sales of new homes have tanked in the
month of May, so there's a three year high of supplies.
Sales of new single family homes dropped over thirteen percent
compared with April, and they're saying that they expect many
new home sales. You know, everything is down right now, yes,
they are.
Speaker 2 (20:42):
I mean this is a good time to buy though, No.
Speaker 3 (20:44):
Well, interest rates are high, that's why people are kind
of holding off. But you do have a little more
leverage as a buyer. But then people are thinking about
the interest rates and you know where they're at right.
Speaker 5 (20:53):
Now with that, So can you rEFInd that's right percent?
Speaker 3 (20:56):
Yeah, and some people will suggest that you do that,
like you might as well go ahead do it refinancially there,
But refinancing also does cost money when you close on
that as well, And so I think, you know, people
are just trying to figure it out because the prices
of the homes are still kind of high.
Speaker 5 (21:08):
But I think you have more leveraging now to negotiate, right.
Speaker 3 (21:11):
People used to put in like an offer, have to
put in an offer above what the price was, and
then be you know, bidding against people. So that's down.
I would say it's easier in that in that case.
All right, well that is you're under the radar.
Speaker 1 (21:24):
Now.
Speaker 3 (21:24):
We do have a Shanty and Nelly joining us later
for their show that's out today. We belong together. Also,
we have the Way Up mix at the top of
the hour. Yes, Mine Wiggins is here.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
Let's go.
Speaker 11 (21:36):
Just like the tout like they Angela Jean, like they
Angela Jean Man.
Speaker 1 (21:40):
She's spilling it all. This is yeaty way.
Speaker 3 (21:45):
All right, it's way up with Angela Yee. I'm here
of course, a Mine Wiggins is here with me today.
Speaker 2 (21:49):
Yes, and I'm having a good time. You know. I
love when I'm coming up here.
Speaker 5 (21:52):
Oh good, I'm glad. We love this.
Speaker 3 (21:55):
And well let's get into some of this yeaty. So
you're like Jim was talking about NAS. You're like, why
is this a big.
Speaker 4 (22:02):
Deal of Oh yeah, because I'm like, uh, is it
really not serious?
Speaker 3 (22:06):
Well, Jim Jones was on backfield and said that you
will never see NAS go viral like this.
Speaker 5 (22:10):
Here's what he said.
Speaker 12 (22:11):
What I did for Na's probably never been done for
him in his life.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
He's never been that viral at all. Ever, He's never.
Speaker 12 (22:17):
Been talked about like this ever in his life. You
did the last time he was in some like this
with people were comparing.
Speaker 2 (22:30):
Nas.
Speaker 8 (22:30):
Okay, I don't know not to have a conversation. He
don't have a conversation. You can have too much like
that you did, Like, I don't really care.
Speaker 4 (22:37):
Yeah, I don't think that nast the top that really
cares to go viral though he didn't have to.
Speaker 3 (22:42):
Yeah, I feel like Nas, if anything, be trying to
stay out the way. Yeah, you know how few people
have an interview with Nas. You know what when I
worked as Serious, I interviewed Nas. First of all, he
was super late, and then I remember, like I tried
to ask a question about maybe it was Kalisa whatever
at the time in his security at me, Like he
do not be talking about his personal life. He don't
(23:04):
even like attention. You know, he got the Sweet Chicks restaurants.
I think the last time I saw him was as
Sweet Chick in La. Yeah, and yeah, he'd be minding
his business then out the way and not talking too much.
Speaker 5 (23:16):
You don't see him really on the blogs.
Speaker 4 (23:17):
And I think that's what adds to his allure because
I feel like if we've heard from him, we moved
in a lot probably like him, like.
Speaker 3 (23:23):
A yeah, how to say that, but yeah so And
you know, to be clear, when he did ether back
in the day, we didn't have social media for that
to go viral the way that it would have. That
would have been a huge moment. So I'm shocked though
that Jim Jones doesn't know NAS really, Like, yeah, I
(23:46):
felt like they would have.
Speaker 4 (23:47):
But I like Jim Jones too. He's entertaining. But I
just think there are two different worlds right now. Maybe
Jim Jones is living for like social media. NAS really
doesn't have to do that.
Speaker 5 (23:56):
Wow, that sounds shady.
Speaker 4 (23:59):
It wasn't shady, but it's the truth, right, I mean, NAS,
you hear about his legacy every I.
Speaker 5 (24:03):
Mean, I think Jim.
Speaker 3 (24:04):
I think Jim Jones a lot of stuff that he does,
like investment wise, you know, he brings it to us
NAS quietly invest in things like behind the scenes and
makes all this money but doesn't really talk about it.
Speaker 2 (24:17):
Right, But a lot of us only know Jim Jones
from love and.
Speaker 5 (24:20):
Hip hop don't do that.
Speaker 13 (24:22):
True.
Speaker 3 (24:23):
He was in dip saying so, but you know, yeah,
all right now, Krishawn Rock, she said that she is
going to get that blue face portrait off of her
face when she was on lip service.
Speaker 5 (24:36):
Here's what she said. I was thinking about the cover
on up for your tattoo, taking my time with it.
Mm hmm. But I already kind of twist things in place.
So you have an appointment that's gonna be a few sessions. Probably.
Speaker 8 (24:48):
I think you should laser it.
Speaker 5 (24:50):
Well, looks like you took g Jesus bikes.
Speaker 3 (24:52):
Here's what Krishan talking about getting that tattoo layser off
her face.
Speaker 14 (24:57):
I'm getting a removal tomorrow up ten and ye I'll
be streaming it.
Speaker 5 (25:02):
Go follow my journey of letting go my past.
Speaker 3 (25:07):
Oh it's always been, you know, such a struggle. Yeah, well,
you know what I'm saying. Like for her, it feels
like she tries and then she slides back and then
she's like really making an effort to you know, put
things behind.
Speaker 5 (25:19):
But it's just something.
Speaker 4 (25:20):
Yeah, I thought that was crazy as heck. Did you
even put that on your face? Like that the plaster
or that man's face on you like that was crazy.
Speaker 2 (25:27):
I don't know. But what she gonna do with the
other eight of tattoos that's trying.
Speaker 5 (25:31):
The one on the face is the most important one.
Speaker 2 (25:32):
Yeah, that was nuts.
Speaker 3 (25:33):
All right, Well that is your Yet when we come back,
we have to ask ye eight hundred two ninety two
fifty one fifty call us up any question you have.
Speaker 5 (25:42):
You know we got some advice for you.
Speaker 3 (25:43):
That's eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty meters
and our mana here, we got you.
Speaker 5 (25:48):
It's way up.
Speaker 1 (25:50):
Everybody since whether it's relationship or career advice. Angela's dropping facts.
Speaker 2 (25:55):
You should know.
Speaker 1 (25:56):
This is ask key.
Speaker 3 (25:57):
What's up his way up at Angela? Yeah, I'm here
with I'm wagain' you ready to get some advice?
Speaker 2 (26:01):
Yes, let's do it.
Speaker 5 (26:02):
All right?
Speaker 3 (26:03):
Well today for ask Ye, we have Alicia on the line. Hey, Alicia, Hey, Hey,
what's going on? What's your question for us?
Speaker 13 (26:13):
I've been dating with God for the past nine months,
and we initially started off the relationships as we didn't
want anything serious. We're just having fun. Through these nine months,
things have progressed, fems have gotten involved. We're still not exclusive,
and I brought up the conversation that I'm nobody's looking
for more than what we have, and he's like, just
(26:34):
be patient, let's see how things though. But my question
is am I being dumb and night eve to think
that something can transpire from this? Or should I just
walk away and move on?
Speaker 5 (26:44):
So you're not seeing anybody else?
Speaker 13 (26:46):
I'm not, but he is.
Speaker 3 (26:48):
Oh see, that's where it comes in, and so you're
not liking that. So originally it was no strings attached,
but now nine months later, you have feelings for.
Speaker 13 (26:57):
Him and he has them for me.
Speaker 3 (27:00):
Well, it's this hesitation that he just really doesn't want
to be tied out. And that's very honest of him
if that's what he's telling you, because he could be lying.
Speaker 13 (27:07):
That's one thing about us. We are definitely both and
that's what I appreciate about our relationship, ship ship, whatever
this is right.
Speaker 3 (27:17):
Your situationship, Listen, If you're not getting what you want
out of this and you've told him what it is
that you need and he's not willing to do that,
then it might be a sign that either A you
have to be okay with the situation, which you're not,
or B maybe it is time for you to not
be in a monogamous relationship with someone who's not in
a monogamous relationship with you.
Speaker 13 (27:37):
Okay, that's fundustable.
Speaker 3 (27:39):
And you can't force somebody to do something that they
don't want to do, and so if you're not.
Speaker 5 (27:43):
Okay with it, you don't have to be okay with it.
Speaker 4 (27:45):
And also I think it's the situation of girl, if
he already got somebody else and talking to you for
nine months, when he get with you, he gonna be
doing the same thing.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
The way you get him is the way you're gonna
lose him.
Speaker 4 (27:57):
So he's gonna find somebody else and be cheating on
you and telling her that he probably don't really want
to be with you, but they just trying to get it,
you know, trying to figure his way out.
Speaker 2 (28:05):
So you will be that girl.
Speaker 3 (28:07):
And I want to say one more thing, Maybe leaving
him is the only way he'll realize what he has,
because sometimes that's also like a man, I miss her
so much, you know what, Maybe this is what I
want because sometimes people don't know what they have till
is gone. And if they can still continue, he can
still continue to be with you, do what he wants,
even though you might be you know, complaining about it
(28:29):
here and there, but he still knows you're there.
Speaker 5 (28:31):
He'll take that for granted.
Speaker 3 (28:33):
But sometimes if somebody really wants you and you leave,
you'll come, you know, he'll try to get your back.
Speaker 8 (28:38):
That makes some open.
Speaker 2 (28:39):
Doctor Angela in the bildin.
Speaker 7 (28:44):
That far.
Speaker 13 (28:44):
I appreciate your help and an outside perspective on everything.
Speaker 3 (28:48):
All right, well, thank you for calling it good. Look,
I hope it does work out for you. Yes, well,
thank you, all right, take care well. And speaking of which,
you know, when we come back, Nelly and Ashanti are
going to be joining me, and their show We Belong
Together is out right now on Peacock, so you can
watch that, but we'll be talking about the two of them,
(29:09):
their new show. Ashanti, who says she would never do
reality television, she's on it. It's way up, everybody, yee.
Speaker 5 (29:17):
But you all been waiting for.
Speaker 1 (29:21):
You tapped in a way up with Angela.
Speaker 2 (29:22):
Yee.
Speaker 3 (29:23):
What's up? It is way up with Angela yee. And
look who's here in the building. Nelly and Ashanti. Hey
the show y'all belong together for real, just even sitting
here having this conversation with you guys. New show is
on peacock. And this is something that people never thought
that Ashanti would do.
Speaker 5 (29:41):
You said you didn't reality.
Speaker 15 (29:44):
He definitely said I would never do it.
Speaker 5 (29:47):
So what happened?
Speaker 3 (29:48):
Tell me how this even was like a conversation that
you gave into.
Speaker 11 (29:51):
He thought it was a great idea. Obviously, I had
my reservations. I'm a little more private when it comes
to these kind of things. And he had already done
this before. And when he explained, didn't put like the
business spinning perspective on it.
Speaker 5 (30:02):
I was just like, Okay, we're married. I gotta be
a team player. We're a team you know what I mean.
Speaker 15 (30:07):
So I'm like, okay, I'm down.
Speaker 5 (30:08):
Let's do It's not each other married? What's different?
Speaker 2 (30:11):
I let her yell at me a lot more.
Speaker 5 (30:18):
Thank you and you probably sounds like a song. It's
just like.
Speaker 2 (30:26):
Women credit stick together.
Speaker 5 (30:33):
K is growing up in New York right now?
Speaker 14 (30:35):
Yeah, okay, so he gotta go outside to New York.
Speaker 2 (30:39):
If he was outside of New York, she'd be out
the window. I can hear his friends.
Speaker 3 (30:45):
Not that's funny because I think for you, Ashantis, a
new mom, leaving KK with Nelly is also nerve wracking.
Speaker 14 (30:52):
Too, and correct, right now. She don't leave him with
me ever to go to the bedroom, to.
Speaker 2 (30:59):
Go to the She'll trust me. I mean, I've only
got like six eight kids.
Speaker 8 (31:07):
It's life.
Speaker 2 (31:08):
I've never lost a child.
Speaker 5 (31:09):
Kids are grown, kids are grown.
Speaker 2 (31:11):
I've never lost a child.
Speaker 5 (31:13):
Stop it, you drop them, everybody, don't drop the baby.
At some point the baby fell.
Speaker 2 (31:22):
I felt like, at.
Speaker 5 (31:23):
Some point, you.
Speaker 11 (31:26):
Want to talk about that.
Speaker 3 (31:29):
Right now, I am talking to Nelly and a Shanty
about their show that's out. We belong together on Peacock
right now now, listen, we gotta y'all.
Speaker 5 (31:37):
Have been revisiting and revisiting that hug. Oh God versus
I was.
Speaker 3 (31:41):
I had to go back and see who was like
because you did do a little extra BackRub.
Speaker 5 (31:46):
I did see it. See the the same.
Speaker 15 (31:52):
Rub that you give in church.
Speaker 1 (31:54):
That's it.
Speaker 15 (31:54):
It wasn't like you know, it wasn't.
Speaker 5 (31:55):
Like a but you wouldn't have made that move first.
He had to come over to you.
Speaker 15 (31:59):
Oh, I never would have made the movie first.
Speaker 2 (32:01):
No, that's understandable. That's understandable. It's just like the first time,
the first one I made the move.
Speaker 5 (32:07):
You know it was going to be there.
Speaker 2 (32:09):
Yeah, yeah, how did she not beat there.
Speaker 5 (32:14):
She was going to be there. She did not know.
You didn't know he was going to be there, right.
Speaker 15 (32:17):
I told you I was gonna beat him up.
Speaker 2 (32:20):
She knew I was gonna it was.
Speaker 15 (32:22):
It was absolutely not, he said after I said, tell me,
what did.
Speaker 5 (32:30):
You go there with? She don't matter, It don't matter.
Speaker 2 (32:35):
It wasn't anybody that I was in a relationship with.
You know what I'm saying. We was hanging out or nothing.
Speaker 5 (32:40):
No, but still she was in a relationship.
Speaker 3 (32:42):
Oh okay, now how did you break that off?
Speaker 5 (32:48):
I don't think that had anything to do Yeah, it
was no. I mean in general, like.
Speaker 3 (32:51):
Writing, it was just time his course, So I had
nothing to do with I was just because being in
a relationship. And then that hug happens, and then you
see the little BackRub. I'll be like, oh.
Speaker 15 (33:06):
My god, what are you doing?
Speaker 5 (33:09):
I said?
Speaker 3 (33:09):
That was the church that Nelly and a Shanty are here.
We belong together and debuted on Peacock to day. Make
sure you check it out. We got more with the
very happy couple when we come back.
Speaker 5 (33:19):
It's way up.
Speaker 7 (33:22):
You want to name.
Speaker 2 (33:26):
What's up?
Speaker 3 (33:27):
His way up with Angela? Yeah, and I am talking
to Nelly and a shanty about their reality show, We
Belong Together on Peacock the first time, you guys like said, okay,
let's get together.
Speaker 5 (33:36):
What did y'all do? And what was that? Like?
Speaker 11 (33:38):
She was waiting on me good night, not initiated, like
he initiated everything.
Speaker 5 (33:45):
Period.
Speaker 11 (33:45):
Try to fly me out on Valentine Valentine's Day.
Speaker 5 (33:50):
That is a huge statement.
Speaker 15 (33:52):
And he took me shoping.
Speaker 3 (33:54):
Okay, period, we like that.
Speaker 11 (33:58):
I ain't gonna say the number, but he was like, well,
you ain't my girlfriend, Yes, so you only get this much.
Speaker 2 (34:03):
You put a limit.
Speaker 5 (34:05):
Yeah, living wasn't wasn't. That's not I'm not mad at that.
I feel like if you place, you could have even
you know what.
Speaker 2 (34:14):
I was trying to good night. You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 5 (34:21):
And I was.
Speaker 15 (34:21):
Trying to figure out do we stay in the same bed?
Speaker 5 (34:24):
You know, things that go on and different.
Speaker 15 (34:26):
I'm trying to tell you she knows.
Speaker 5 (34:28):
Okay, So he flew you out on Valentine's Day.
Speaker 11 (34:32):
We had an amazing time flew out to where Vegas. Okay,
I didn't know how I was gonna feel.
Speaker 7 (34:37):
He didn't know.
Speaker 15 (34:38):
I don't know, you know what I mean?
Speaker 11 (34:39):
I do know that when we did get to the room,
it was just like, oh my god, you know what
I'm saying, Like things were just coming when you walked in.
Speaker 5 (34:57):
No, if he was at the po the table, because we.
Speaker 15 (35:00):
Were in the casino in Vegas.
Speaker 3 (35:03):
Right now, I am talking to Nelly and a Shanty
about their show that's out. We belong together on Peacock
right now. Was it a passionate night or were y'all
up or night talking?
Speaker 8 (35:12):
I was trying to hit.
Speaker 5 (35:16):
It is going viral. You're talking about him? So me,
I mean, yeah, she gave me your problem.
Speaker 15 (35:25):
It was definitely did I just sit down?
Speaker 5 (35:29):
My exuit.
Speaker 8 (35:35):
What I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (35:36):
So then when were the thoughts the next day? Like
when you wake up and you guys like, was it
like this is just a what I.
Speaker 11 (35:43):
Don't think either of us knew what like what was
going to happen, you know what I mean? It was
kind of like, Okay, you know what I mean, We'll
just see what happens. It's not like we were planning
something or trying to map something out.
Speaker 5 (35:56):
We were talking and we were kind of just taking it,
taking it by day.
Speaker 2 (35:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 14 (36:00):
I woke up like Eddie Murphy, she was putting on
her sneakers. I was like, she was like so relaxing.
Speaker 15 (36:14):
That was so thankful.
Speaker 3 (36:17):
I have my mom coordinator, David, did you have to
have a conversation with your mom just to like?
Speaker 5 (36:27):
Did Nelly have to be like? So things are different.
Speaker 2 (36:33):
Conversation with everybody? I have no problem. I think me
and her pops have always been been straight.
Speaker 14 (36:39):
Okay, Now that don't mean that he's not in his
daughter's corner always in forever. That's understood. But I probably
wouldn't see him coming. I'm gonna see mom if you're coming.
Speaker 2 (36:49):
Because because she coming, you know what I mean.
Speaker 14 (36:54):
So I think that was a little bit easier to
initiate that conversation.
Speaker 5 (36:58):
Nelly and are he now?
Speaker 3 (37:00):
Normally when we come back, you guys would have the
last word, but we're having such a good time. We
got more questions, so we got more with them. When
we come back. It's way up.
Speaker 2 (37:08):
It's gonna turn me up.
Speaker 5 (37:10):
