(00:32):
where we get our information from. Because I like real information,
not misinformation.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
It's a weird world. You gotta be more selective abut
where you're getting you stuff done?

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Oh it's heavy, all right. It is also joining us today.
Mary Sheffield is going to be here and she is
running for a mayor of Detroit. She would be the
first woman mayor of Detroit.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Ever.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
I love that.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
I believe the youngest too, if I'm not mistaken a
black woman. She's already a president of city council. So okay,
she'll be joining us. But let's start this with some
love and positivity, because don't we need that.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
We do desperately?

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Please, I say you have your what is a moment
of joy.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
Which we're bringing back the moment of joy because it's
like I need it so badly that we you know,
we do so much negative talk. It's all bad news,
bad news, bad news. So we're like, we're gonna find
something joyful.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
But this is kind of our moment of joy. We're
gonna shine a light on somebody doing something positive, and
so are you. Eight hundred and two ninety two fifty
one fifty call us up. Let's shine a light. Its
way up.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Turn your lights on, y'all.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
It spreading love to those who are doing greatness.

Speaker 5 (01:31):
Shine the light, shine a light on.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
It's time to shine a.

Speaker 5 (01:37):
Light on them.

Thank you so much for being here.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
It is so much fun to be here.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
This is like such a beautiful, wonderful environment, so positive,
so much fun.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
All right, well, good, well, speaking of positivity, I know
you want to say, shine a light on somebody.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
I did.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
I want to shine a light on Lynette Room, who
made me look good this morning. I woke up feeling exhausted,
but I'm fly because of my wonderful makeup artist. Lynette
Broom also got a shout out though, Johnnie and Coco,
who are my glam team back home?

Speaker 1 (02:06):
They're gonna be mad I'm cheating on them with.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Linette, so listen, and I want to stress how important
that glam team is. When we are tired, we know
we gotta be on camera. We can't act like we
don't care. But when we don't get it done, I'll
be like, why did I not?

Speaker 6 (02:18):
Why?

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Oh I did One time, I like did a live.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
It was just literally just a live. I'm like, I'll
just do this live with no makeup on. Why did
the person that did the live come on fully made up?
Because it was Able du Verney. And every time I
see the clips, I'm just like, what is wrong with you?

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Like, I don't even want to post this.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
I don't even want to post it. It's terrible.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Shout out to Lennet, and I think it's important to
the vibe of somebody who's doing your makeup. That's like, really,
how you unwind?

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Start talking?

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Getting your days started to shout out to her. Now, Aliah,
who do you want to shine a light on?

Speaker 7 (02:45):
I want to sign a light on my mother and
I just want to say that I love her so much.
She is so strong. We lost my sister back in
twenty eighteen and we finded a scholarship in her name. Wow,
and they're for mental health foundation. Yes, it's called this
Frico Foundations out Ali Town at who the High School.
And she is just such a strong woman. I love

(03:07):
her so much and I hope you get to hear this.
She's my superhero, superwoman. She is so awesome and I
love her and I just want to find a light
on her so many times.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Well I've never met her, and I love her. Well,
thank you so much for Colin. I appreciate it. And
shout out to your mom.

Speaker 7 (03:23):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Well that was Shining Light eight hundred and two ninety
two fifty one fifty. If you couldn't get through, call
us up in Shina Light that way. And when we
come back, we have your yee tea and Jeezi is
doing something that has been really successful and now he's
taking it to Vegas. We'll give you all the details.
It's way up, they say sooth in the rooms from
industry shade.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
To all of gossip out send Angela's feeling that yet, Yes.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Way up with Angela, Yee. I'm here with my guest
host for the day, Juanne Reed. Thank you for joining me, Oh,
thank you for having me. All right, well let's get
into it. Jeezi has announced a two part Vegas residency.
He has his one hundred and one piece Life Orchestra
and also a new project with DJ John McCaul stills knowing.
Have you been seeing these GZ videos of him, like
everybody's getting dressed up in their finest clothes and going

(04:11):
out to see him perform with an orchestra.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
I have not, but I have to tell you they
need to bring that to Vegas. Vegas is hurting financially.
They something like this.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
This actually sounds like exactly what Vegas needs. And if
people gonna get dressy and go do this, Vegas is
probably telling the Lord thank you.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
And I will say Usher's residency did so well and
we got so much attention. I think as of late,
that's probably been the most popular show, you know, in Vegas.
So this is going to be a good one. Here
is what Jzi had to say about his residency in Vegas.

Speaker 8 (04:41):
Were actually doing a residency in October in December. The
October residency is the Masquerade Team One O one Live.
The Masquerade, the same crew, but this time we're bringing
one hundred and one piece orchestra in the December dates
are the nutcorrect.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
I know people are going outside for that for sure.

Speaker 5 (05:02):
You know.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
I was looking at everybody I know in Detroy who
was dressed up. I mean they had on like all
black tie. And that's where he ended this tour because
that's a really special place to him. He has a
huge audience there. So I just like that. It's like grown,
it's grown.

Speaker 4 (05:17):
Everyone's gonna throwback right the way that you know, black
folks back in the day used to always be super dressy.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
You know, you're going out to the little thing in Harlem.
You're going out. You know you're being when we're outside.
We're outside in our finance.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
Love it all right. And Boys to Men is teaming
up with Booking dot Com. They're doing a new wellness
retreat offering and so as they partner with them. Here's
what they had to say you can actually get There's
here's their exclusive statement.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
I just booked an amazing boys vacation and the Florida Keys.

Speaker 9 (05:46):
Guess what one lucky fan to get the book accurated
Boys to Zen trip at the Sweet vacation Home and
the Florida Keys.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
With five of their friends. Because nothing says self care like.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
End of the Road playing while you're wrapped in a rope.
First of all, Zen is hilarious. It is it is
all men's retreat, you know what. I like that idea
of the guys going on retreats. I just was looking
at this, this nonprofit based in Brooklyn and they're doing
like a retreat for the young men. They were upstate

(06:16):
New York. I thought it just looked amazing, like outside
in nature, you know, the zoo.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
It's kind of zen.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
But the only thing is that if you have a
large friend group, that's gonna cause some problems because you
got to pick four people and who gets left behind?

Speaker 1 (06:28):
Right, who doesn't get to zen with you? You might
cause lesson zen. You might need it more.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
We might got to do like some type of you know,
pick yeah, make it random, random friends. Although a lot
of people don't have four friends.

Speaker 4 (06:40):
That's true, but I do men have large friend groups
because I know, like when we do girls trips with
it's ten of us.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
And I'm gonna tell you what else do about these
girls tips. Some people don't get along with other people
you got to pick and choose. I've had people be like,
I'm not going if this person goes, right, Yeah, you
have to.

Speaker 4 (06:55):
Like pick a selected, curated group of people that are
gonna go. And so I feel like men have I
don't know. I feel like man have large friend groups.
I don't know how you would pay.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
It's a minute here, do y'all have, Like if you
had to pick a retreat and bring four of your friends,
do you know who you would pick? You know who
you would pick? You have four people? Wi other people
be mad? All right, So too bad. They can do
their own trip, all right. Well, when we come back,
we have about last night where we discussed what we
were doing last night. I definitely want to hear what
you were doing over the weekend. Yes, so as you know,

(07:23):
Joanne Read's here guest hosting. I was in Orlando over
the weekend. So I'm going to tell you guys about that.
It's way up whoa night. So about last night? Yes,
I went down, man, I love listening to glow rel
with it. When she says I'm outside because I hated home,
I'd be like, I love it home. Well, Juyan Read's

(07:44):
here with me guest hosting. What did you do over
the weekend?

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Home sat?

Speaker 4 (07:48):
I'm like, you know, that is literally my vacation is
I sit on my porch with my dog and I
drink an entire bottle of champagne. So last weekend I
did what I call the shred of thoon. So you know,
when I'm always traveling, I'm.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
Not home, that's right.

Speaker 4 (08:00):
And so what happens is the mail builds up. And
so my mail built up. I came on there was
like a mountain of it. My husband went and got
it out of the mailbox, wedged it out of the mailbox,
and I was like, I'm gonna face this today. So
what I did last weekend is I opened an entire
bottle of rose, popped it open, and I took out
my shredder and I opened my mail and I shredded it.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
It was so therapeutic. I got through. I found some bills,
I found two checks.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
There were checks in the mail, and like that when
you got checks just sitting in the mail, I was like.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
Wait a minute, I didn't cast it. So I put
my checks in and I had a wonderful, wonderful weekend
with my shred of thon.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
I like that I have these checks at home that
I just still have not deposited, cause it'd be like
eight dollars from sag after from like things I've done
that's streaming, and it's like, oh, I have some texts
for like thirty two cents.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
I got one of those. I got one of those.
I worf depositing.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
I feel like you should I shed still.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
I think you should do that.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
I let them pile up and then I put it
all together and I'd be like, have one hundred dollars
it all together that I deposited.

Speaker 4 (08:57):
I got thirty five dollars from one from one sag afterthings.
It was just like in a movie where I played
myself and they like sent me like.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
One hundred bucks every now and then. Right, it's like
you don't want to deposit it, but it's like, you
know what I do.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
They take companies, I'll deposit, but like thirty cents, I'm like,
But I was in Orlando over the weekend and shout
out to Derek Lewis Charin Lewis. They are the owners
of the franchise Big Dave's Cheesesteak in Orlando. They have
two so far, and that's Derek Hayes's company, and so
we actually went out there because my coffee company, Coffee
Uplifts people, we are going to be helping them with

(09:29):
their breakfast. We've partnered on breakfast, so we had seven
am open, we were out there. We had some people
from the community that came out and had a VIP experience.
And now that they have breakfast on the menu, they
have our coffee on the menu as well. We have
a cold breom and we have drip coffee. But the
breakfast was amazing. I want to say. They have these

(09:49):
cheesteak and egg egg rolls that are so good, and
cheese steak and egg sandwiches for breakfast and potatoes are amazing.
So just love that idea of breakfast. And they have chicken,
they have salmon, and they have meat.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
So that sounds good.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
Then of course I watched the fight and that fight
did not end until two a m. On Netflix, so
they were kind enough to let us come over and
watch the fight. At some point, everybody fell asleep on
the couch, like at different points in times like I'll
look over. Only my friend Coya that was with me
was the only person that was awake the whole time.
So shout out to them. We'll talk about the fight
in a little bit, but when we come back, Joy,

(10:25):
are you ready for this? Tell us a secret. People
are gonna call in and they're gonna tell us their deepest,
darkest secrets, things that they've never told anybody. And our
job is to not be judgmental. Okay, we can listen,
we can ask questions. They're anonymous, and we are not
gonna judge them. We're just gonna listen and say, wow,
what else happened? Okay, can you handle that?

Speaker 1 (10:46):
I think I can handle it.

Speaker 4 (10:47):
But if fake call and do not disguise their voices,
my jaw will drop. I'm like, you're not gonna disguise
your voice.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
Listen, these people, like bold people call in. They have
these secrets. Sometimes these things happen twenty years ago. Okay,
eight hundred two nine to two fifty one fifty. Put
on your best journalistic hat and just listen. Okay, we're not.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
Going to judge.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
It's not opinion based. Eight hundred two nine two fifty
one fifty. Call us up and tell us a secrets,
way up, up. This is a judgment free zone.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
Tell us a secret, all.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
Right, his way up? With Angela Yee and Joyanne Read
is here guest hosting today.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
This has been so much fun so far.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
Okay, good and people are showing out for you. So
let's see what they're gonna say when they call it
right now. Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty
anonymous caller tell us your secret.

Speaker 5 (11:33):
So I have sex with my boyfriend's sister because he
cheated on me.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
Your boyfriend sister? So are you a guy? Yees bam,
you're a gay man, but you do so? Are you bisexual?

Speaker 6 (11:45):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (11:45):
Not at all?

Speaker 2 (11:47):
Purely out of fight.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
Wow, look at Joyce.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
You don't even know what to say to that.

Speaker 1 (11:51):
I did you enjoy it?

Speaker 4 (11:54):
No?

Speaker 10 (11:54):
Not at all, not one good.

Speaker 5 (11:55):
I'm fully gay. I've been gay my entire life.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
So how does that get back in him? You did
something you don't like. I'm just curious.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
It's just the fuck that I knew that I did
it and he said that, but he swister does.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
Okay, so he doesn't know. The sister knows. You feel revenge?
Are you still with him?

Speaker 4 (12:13):
No?

Speaker 3 (12:14):
No, no, this is my last friend.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
Now, Okay, would you have sex with Is that the
only time you've ever had sex with a woman.

Speaker 5 (12:20):
No, it was the second time I have sex with
the woman. Actually, the third time I have sex with
the woman, I accidentally got her pregnant.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
Wow, Oh my gosh, okay, I know somebody else that
happened to it, and he had twins. By the way,
how did the first time happen?

Speaker 5 (12:34):
Did happen? It was my first friend and we were
both really drunk about concidentally she's now.

Speaker 7 (12:41):
A lesbian, and you know, we wanted to say it.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
She ended up, you know, pro choice.

Speaker 7 (12:46):
I ended up getting rid of the baby.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
Okay, well, thank you for calling. See how good you
did it? Me journalist?

Speaker 1 (12:51):
And yeah, okay, did not no judgment.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
Hey, anonymous KLA, how are you you want to tell
me enjoying any to secret?

Speaker 4 (12:58):
Two years ago?

Speaker 3 (13:00):
Girls pregnant at the same time.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
Oh my gosh, okay, no judgment. Here were any of
them your girlfriend?

Speaker 5 (13:07):
Where was my girlfriend?

Speaker 7 (13:09):
One is my wife now and the other when I've
been talking?

Speaker 1 (13:14):
Did they all keep the babies?

Speaker 8 (13:16):
No?

Speaker 2 (13:17):
So how many did you have at the time?

Speaker 1 (13:20):
Already?

Speaker 5 (13:21):
Four kids? Oh?

Speaker 2 (13:23):
You had four kids already? So now how many do
you have?

Speaker 1 (13:26):
Eight baby?

Speaker 2 (13:27):
How many baby mamas you have?

Speaker 10 (13:30):
Just my wife?

Speaker 2 (13:31):
You have eight kids? With your wife.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
Yes, we have who said betweens and four other kids.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
So out of these three, none of them got pregnant.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
Or kept it.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
They were prayed they didn't keep it because they were
scared of my wife.

Speaker 1 (13:45):
Okay, got it?

Speaker 2 (13:47):
So do you still cheat us over?

Speaker 1 (13:49):
How long have you been married?

Speaker 5 (13:51):
Seven years?

Speaker 2 (13:52):
Well, I'm glad you learned your lesson from everything that's
happened in the past.

Speaker 3 (13:57):
Yeah. If you did this, I love you baby, don't
think them.

Speaker 1 (14:01):
All all right?

Speaker 2 (14:04):
Well, yeah, thanks for calling unpacking? All right, thank you,
I guess thanks for sharing. Well that was tell us
a secret eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty.
If you couldn't get through, you could leave a message
and tell us a secret for last Where Joy is
here today? Guess helsei? Who y'all got some secrets?

Speaker 1 (14:21):
Secret?

Speaker 2 (14:21):
And when we come back, we got your yet and
we'll talk about Terrace Budcraftford. He made history over Canelo Alvarez.
That fight that happens Saturday night into Sunday morning. It's
way up shure, she's.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
About to blow the lead ab off this, but let's
get it. Oh yeah, Angela's billing at yee te, Come.

Speaker 2 (14:36):
And get the tea. It's way yup with Angela Yee.
I'm here with my guest host, Joanne Reid. Let's get
into this yet. First off, I saw on TMZ that
Marcus Jordan is close to cutting a deal for his
DUI case. So we were discussing that they have these
court documents that they obtained on September twelfth that show
that he has to meet multiple conditions over the next

(14:57):
twelve months, and then they'll go ahead and and make
sure that he doesn't have anything still outstanding. But he
does have to write an apology letter.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
That seems like a lot. Why does he have to
write an apology letter?

Speaker 2 (15:10):
So the cop that he berated during the arrest.

Speaker 4 (15:13):
My question is how many people who do not look
like us be rate police. I've seen so many videos
of people saying do you know who I am?

Speaker 1 (15:21):
Do you know where I work? Berating the police? You
work for me? You know, lashing out at them. They
don't have to write a letter.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
Yeah, and you know the charges that he had possession
of ketamine, resisting officer without violence, and DUI, and then
now he has to submit to random drug testing. He
has to make a one thousand dollars donation. He has
to have one of those devices in the car that
you got to breathe into so the car can start,
and also complete fifty hours of community service, and then
it has to be a two hundred and fifty word

(15:47):
I'm sorry letter to his arresting office.

Speaker 4 (15:49):
I'm sorry, and you saw you said without violence, Yeah, which,
as I said, without violence.

Speaker 2 (15:54):
An apologies letter.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
It's too much. Yeah, you're taking it too far. Get
over it.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
I'm gonta search how many people have had to write
apology letters right before this? All right now, Terrence Bud
Crawford made history beating Canelo Alvarez over the weekend. He
is the first mailboxer, because let's not forget that Clarisa
Schield has done this to capture three unified division titles.
When he defeated Canelo Alvarez, it was a unanimous decision.

(16:19):
And you know, normally in boxing people will argue, oh, well,
I don't know if he went but he won that
like hands down, dominated that entire fight and it wasn't
over until two am.

Speaker 4 (16:28):
And I know you didn't get much sleep as a result.
But the reality is you're talking about somebody who got
paid a tenth of what his opponent, you.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
Had ten million dollars and so now imagine and I
know after he was fighting in the ring, they asked him,
are you going to fight again? Because he's also older
than Canelo Alvarez, which is wild.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
Yeah, the older boxer one all right.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
Now, here is what Terrence Crawford had to say after
that fight.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
Canelo is you know, all time great, he's the last one.

Speaker 7 (16:53):
So you know when you look around, you say, I'm
big Canelo, you know, I'm the face of boxing out.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
I'm the best powerful pound fighter in the world. Yes,
that was Terrence cruff for talking about being the best
right now, because I felt like people were doubting him too.
He was definitely the underdog in this fight, as we
can see.

Speaker 4 (17:09):
And I feel like we were kind of past the
age of the Mike Tyson's obviously the Muhammad Ali's, Like
there really just aren't the legends. I don't think we've
sort of revere fighters that way. And UFC is kind
of like mixed it up where people are not really
focused on boxing.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
So I think it is time for boxing to have
a star.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
Yeah, and I actually really enjoyed that fight they were
putting in people at the fight. By the way, this
is on Netflix. Roy Jones Jr. Was there, Mike Tyson
was there, Vander Holyfield, Sophia Vergaro was there, Michael J. Fox,
Dave Chappelle, Dave Chappelle, Charlie's Dearon Mayno was in the building. Yes,
stephen A. Smith, all of them were there. They booed

(17:46):
stephen A. Smith. I don't know if you had a too.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
I mean, if I was there, I would have boot
him too. Yeah boom.

Speaker 2 (17:51):
All right. Now, in addition to all of this, you
know Canela Alerts had to say to Terrence Corfford he
felt like he was better than Floyd Mayweather when it
came to boxing.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
I tried my best tonight. I just cannot figure out
that stife. I think for it is way better than
Floyd Mayweather. Huge compliment, Yeah that is.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
But it's like, don't you try to put us against
each other. Here's what he said, Floyd was the greatest
in his air.

Speaker 1 (18:18):
I'm the greatest in my era, and I ain't no
need to compare meter Florida.

Speaker 2 (18:23):
Or Florida me. That's kind of what Chris Brown says
when people try to compare him to Michael Jackson, like,
y'all got to stop.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
Well, I mean, it's not really a fair comparison for being.

Speaker 2 (18:32):
That is your yet and when we come back, we
have under the radar. These are the stories that are
not necessarily in the headlines. They're flying under the radar,
but you definitely need to know about them. And I
definitely want to talk about this Fox Fox and Friends
commentator hosts whatever you want to call him, and what
he had to say about people who are homeless and
lethal injections. It's way up.

Speaker 1 (18:52):
This in the news that relates to you.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
These stories are flying under the radar. It's way up.
But Angela, yee, I'm here with my guest host read
I have her doing all kinds of things today.

Speaker 1 (19:02):
Oh no, this is fine. We're having a good old
time over here.

Speaker 2 (19:04):
Well, let's get into these under the radar stories, and
let's talk about Fox and Friends host Brian Killmead. He
did issue an apology yesterday for comments that he made
last week, and they were talking about a killing that
happened in Charlotte, North Carolina, and during the discussion he
said something really really wild because it was a homeless

(19:25):
person that actually stabbed Irena Zarutska. And here is what
kill Me said during that conversation.

Speaker 10 (19:32):
Billions of dollars some mental health and the homeless population.
A lot of them don't want to take the programs.
A lot of them don't want to get the help
that is necessary. You can't give them a choice. Either
you take the resources that we're going to give you,
or you decide that you're got to be locked up
in jail. That's the way it has to be now,
or involuntary lethal injection.

Speaker 2 (19:51):
I just kill him.

Speaker 4 (19:53):
Wow, And nobody flinched, and the next person to speak
said yeah and moved on like didn't you didn't even acknowledge.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
Oh, we just can't go around killing people because they
have mental health issues and they're unhoused. Well since then,
and I was shocked that Brian kill Meat actually issued
an apology.

Speaker 4 (20:09):
I think at some point outside forces must have come
in because at Fox you really can't say anything. I mean,
he said wild stuff before, and at Fox they don't
police it. So there must have been some sort of
outside pressure. Because he did apologize, there was some reason.
Here's his apology.

Speaker 9 (20:25):
During that discussion, I wrongly said they should get lethal injections.
I apologize for that extremely callous remark. I'm obviously aware
that not allD mentally ill homeless people act as the
perpetrator did in North Carolina, and that so many homeless
people deserve our empathy and compassion.

Speaker 2 (20:43):
Yeah, he's good reading.

Speaker 1 (20:44):
No, I mean a lawyer wrote that statement.

Speaker 4 (20:46):
Let's just be clear, just having come from Network News,
an attorney wrote that statement that went through. They don't
have a standards in practices department, so probably the lawyers
wrote it and he read it, and he had to
read it.

Speaker 2 (20:56):
I know, I was shocked.

Speaker 1 (20:57):
I was like an apology, lethal injection. It's like, what
is happening and the right.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
People with mental health problems and unhouse people. That's crazy.

Speaker 1 (21:06):
This is the same network that says the left is violent, all.

Speaker 2 (21:10):
Right, And just lastly, September, that's this month, and it's
halfway through. It's national take a Man on a Date month,
so if you feel like doing it, it's an unofficial month.
I don't know who made it up, but it's sure that. Yeah,
clearly that women are doing around the world to show
their appreciation for the hardworking men who take care of
them every day. So it's you know, when you take

(21:32):
your man.

Speaker 1 (21:32):
On a date.

Speaker 4 (21:33):
I'm going to make sure that Jason does not hear
this broadcast because then he is going to expect me
to take him out on a date. And I you know,
I'm trying to stay home in my backyard. You know,
as if established listen, you could do it at home date,
it would have to be a staycation.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
Yeah, a little staycation at home with me. I feel
like my man gets taken.

Speaker 6 (21:51):
Well.

Speaker 2 (21:51):
I won't say on a date because I really enjoy
when but yeah, I do something.

Speaker 1 (21:55):
We'll do something nice, but it'll be at home.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
I'll do something. Yeah, I'll let you watch TV.

Speaker 1 (22:00):
Here you go. Yeah, control the remote, control.

Speaker 2 (22:02):
The remote, the remote. It's control the remote day. All right, Well,
that is your under the radar. We do have the
way Up mixed at the top of the hour plus
mayor not Well, she's not. She's in the race to
be mayor of Detroit. Mary Sheffield is going to be
joining us today. Love Mary Sheffield, So we'll discuss what's
going on in that city. I know there was some
marching going on over the weekend. We can talk about that.

(22:23):
It's way up.

Speaker 11 (22:25):
She's like the tout like they Angelie Jean, like they
and Jelie Jean.

Speaker 5 (22:29):
And she's spilling it all.

Speaker 2 (22:31):
This is yeaty Well, all right, it's way up with
Angela yee. I'm here with Joanne Reid. You see how
small our team is.

Speaker 1 (22:39):
We just done. I'm amazed, small but mighty.

Speaker 2 (22:43):
Let's get into this yeat. So the Emmys were last
night and Felicia Rashad, who obviously played Clear Huxtable on
The Cosby Show, introduced the im memorial performance and she
also took that time to say goodbye to Malcolm Jamal Warner,
who played her son on The Cosby Show. Here's what
she said.

Speaker 12 (23:02):
He was a belover teenager in an iconic television series
who the world watched grow into manhood. And like all
our friends and colleagues who transitioned this past year, Malcolm
Jamal Warner remains in our hearts.

Speaker 4 (23:18):
Man.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
That's so sad.

Speaker 1 (23:19):
I feel like I'm not over theo huxibilbian.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
Did I know It's such a tragic accident to have happened.

Speaker 4 (23:24):
Now.

Speaker 2 (23:25):
On Friday, his widow, Tanisha Warner, announced a new foundation
and memory of him, and it's also in time for
their wedding anniversary, and she posted on social media, River
and Ember, and it says, thank you for holding us
in so much love during this tender time. Tomorrow marks
our anniversary and my heart is wide open. For the
first time, I'm sharing a glimpse of the love that

(23:46):
began it all. And it's their wedding picture and they
look so happy together. So they have the Warner Family
Foundation for Young Artists. So that's what she has begun
in memoriam of him.

Speaker 1 (23:57):
That is so hot, so sad.

Speaker 4 (23:58):
I mean, he was, you know, I don't think people
knew how much of an advocate he was for other
young actors. You know, he did so much good in
his life, but people just froze him in time as
theo Huxtable and didn't realize he did a lot more work.
He did a lot of her other roles. And so
I'm glad that she's going to bring out, like some
of the other aspects of his life.

Speaker 2 (24:15):
Yeah, it's a beautiful way to remember him.

Speaker 1 (24:17):
All right.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
Well, the Emmys again, we're last night and The Studio
won thirteen awards. I was telling you because I've been
watching The Studio. I'm almost done with the first season.
I'm trying to catch up now because I feel like
this is a show that everybody was talking about. It's
quite entertaining. I think you would like it.

Speaker 1 (24:32):
I'm going to try it. No, you have sold me
on it. And then this happened, right, rather than this happened.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
So other things that were really big for Yesterday. Adolescence
and the Pit also won some top honors as well,
and there was a first. Chamelle Tumman became the first
black man to win a Supporting Drama Actor and that
is for severan yes And here's what he had to say.

Speaker 10 (24:55):
You make time for what you want to make time for,
do the work, show up and most importantly, for the
love of God, don't embarrass me in public, all.

Speaker 2 (25:05):
Right, So congratulations.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
And he was talking about his MoMA. By the way,
he was big enough his mom. It was amazing.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
Don't embarrass me in public, all right, So shout out
to everybody who was there. We started off the show
before we even started speaking, just talking about different shows
and what are you watching? What are you watching?

Speaker 1 (25:20):
Yeah? All right?

Speaker 2 (25:21):
And lastly, I know we had mentioned this before, but
Venus and Serena Williams do have their own podcast that's
starting and it's called Stockton Street. That's based after the
street they grew up in in Compton, California. It's a
biweekly series and it's going to debut on X formerly Twitter.

Speaker 1 (25:41):
I don't know that I love that. I'm less excited
about that. I'm not sure that I'm.

Speaker 2 (25:46):
That's an interesting choice because I feel like they could
have had this podcast anywhere, yes, but they're putting it
on X. It's supposed to be candid conversations with creators, innovators,
and influential figures, offering listeners a closer look at the
sister's perspective on sports culture and life beyond tennis.

Speaker 4 (26:03):
I hope that they will also put it on YouTube
or somewhere else that I think. I mean, Don Lemon
did start out on X and his experience with Elon
was not positive, not going. They should have called him
and been like, what was your experience like? Because I'm
not sure Elon Musk is that in favor of black people.
Let mean, just put it there that.

Speaker 2 (26:19):
Way, baby. I'll tell you, I was watching Don Lemmon
on the street talking to somebody who called them memorn.

Speaker 4 (26:26):
Yeah. First of all, it's like, excuse me, sir, you
are an anonymous person who knows who Don lemon is.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
He can't be that much of a moron.

Speaker 7 (26:33):
You know who he is.

Speaker 1 (26:34):
You don't know who you are?

Speaker 2 (26:35):
That ended up not well for the person that at all.
All right, well that is your Yet when we come back,
Oh we have Mary Sheffield. Mary Sheffield is going to
be joining us. She is running for mayor of Detroit.
I actually really really like Mary Sheffield a lot. And
these elections are coming up. But will tell you what
she has to say firsthand about the city that she's from,
that she loves so much. As way up, way up

(26:59):
with Angela ye more, now what's up his way up
at Angela Gee. I'm here and Luca's in the building.
Mary Sheffield, welcome, thank.

Speaker 1 (27:09):
You, glad to be here.

Speaker 2 (27:10):
And you know we're getting ready for elections in Detroit
and you have a chance to make history. Yes, you'll
be the first woman mayor ever in the history of Detroit. Yep,
as a black woman, a black woman. The time is
ripe for new leadership. That's seventy five mayors and not
one of them has been a woman. You know, the
trade is in a great position right now, but there's
so much that has to be done. Oh yeah, and
so I just wanted to ask you, you see all

(27:32):
the things that have been done under Mayor Mike Duggan,
and you've worked very closely with him as city council president.

Speaker 11 (27:38):
What needs to happen in Detrait to take it to
that next level? Well, I would definitely say, without a doubt,
overwhelmingly the neighborhoods. I mean, everyone feels that the growth
has taken place, but it has not reached further into
our neighborhood. So first and foremost, we have to ensure
that the growth goes down deeper into our communities outside
of downtown in midtown, ensuring that housing is affordable, that
people actually have access to home ownership and opertunities to thrive.

(28:00):
From that perspective, we make tremendous progress in the area
of gun violence, but we still have a lot of
ways to go. There's a perception that Detroit is not safe,
even though the data shows that we have fifty year
record low crime in the city of Detroit.

Speaker 1 (28:14):
So we have ways to go in that regard.

Speaker 11 (28:16):
But overall, I think raising the incomes, building our middle class,
ensuring that the Detroit is a destination of opportunities where
people when they graduate from high.

Speaker 1 (28:24):
School and college.

Speaker 11 (28:25):
They see themselves staying in Detroit or not going to
la or Chicago or New York.

Speaker 1 (28:29):
But Detroit is that big city.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
Right now, I am talking to mayoral nominee for Detroit,
Married Cheffielchi is the president of the City Council. How
do you feel when people get critical of people in
the quote unquote establishment working with corporations. You know, we
see that all the time, Like Dan Gilbert is supporting
Married Sheffield, but that's not what we're standing for and
blah blah blah. I want to see how you would respond, well, critic, My.

Speaker 11 (28:54):
Record is very clear. I've been pro people, pro progress
this entire time. I've been on so for twelve years.
When a vote comes down before council, my position has
always been about the betterment of the city and the
people who I represent. As mayor, I am the executive
leader of Detroit, and so I would need to work
with everyone. And in order for Detroit to move forward,
we have to have strong public private partnerships, and so

(29:17):
I would need to work with all of our corporate
partners to ensure that we're creating affordable housing, good paying jobs,
that we're investing in our neighborhoods, and so to me,
I want to be a mayor that can work with everyone,
but always stay true to my values and what I
believe is important, which is always people first, neighborhoods first,
and detroits first.

Speaker 2 (29:32):
We got to talk about Donald Trump a little bit,
and so when you think about him talking about sending
in the National Guard to certain places. Now he's talking
about New Orleans and I can see Detroit being a target.
What do you think about what the President's been doing
when it comes to coming.

Speaker 1 (29:44):
Yeah, it's definitely concerning.

Speaker 11 (29:45):
We never want to bring the National Guards in the city,
and so I'm going to do my best to strengthen
relationships with other cities, to work with our neighboring urban
mayors to figure out ways that we can fight back
and stand back against those type of efforts. But we
are trying to crack down as much as we can
on creating a holistic approach to gun violence, because when
it comes to crime in these cities, to me, sending

(30:06):
the National Guards is not the answer, right, I mean,
that's not going to stop. That's if it goes back
to housing, it goes back to education, it goes back
to the underlining issues and I think we have to
have more funding for those.

Speaker 2 (30:16):
Well, thank you so much to Mary Sheffield for joining us,
and please make sure y'all tune into Mary Sheffield's full
interview on my YouTube channel. Way up with Ye and
when we come back, we have asked ye. Joyanne Read
is here guest hosting, but we are going to take
any question that you have. We're going to help you out.
Eight hundred and two ninety two fifty one fifty Ask yee?

Speaker 5 (30:34):
Is next, whether it's relationship for career advice, Angela's dropping facts?

Speaker 2 (30:39):
This is as Gee, what's up? Its Way up with Angela?

Speaker 6 (30:42):
Yee?

Speaker 2 (30:43):
Joyanne Read is here with me today. Now this part
is ask ye. People are gonna call in and ask
for advice.

Speaker 1 (30:48):
Are you ready? I am ready?

Speaker 2 (30:49):
All right now? Our call is today wants to be anonymous?
What's your question today?

Speaker 5 (30:54):
How do I get my best friends knows that I'm
in lay with her and she she needs to be
with me?

Speaker 2 (31:00):
Is she in a relationship or is she single?

Speaker 5 (31:02):
She goes from single to being in a relationship?

Speaker 1 (31:05):
Are you the person that she comes to for advice
on relationships.

Speaker 5 (31:09):
All the time?

Speaker 2 (31:10):
And how long have y'all been best friends like five
years now. Have you ever messed around before in any way?

Speaker 4 (31:17):
No?

Speaker 2 (31:18):
Okay, do you think she likes you too?

Speaker 5 (31:20):
I don't know, because people don't really know that. I like,
I really love her, like I pray.

Speaker 2 (31:26):
It's a hard situation, sure, because if you tell her,
it could work out and happily ever after. Or if
you tell her, you could not be friends with her
anymore because she could be like I did not want
that and now she's not comfortable. Or you could tell
her and always be in love with her and she
just doesn't feel the same way back as those are
three scenarios.

Speaker 1 (31:43):
What do you think is the biggest risk of just
telling her how you feel?

Speaker 5 (31:46):
The biggest risk would be her not being able to
read the same word right.

Speaker 2 (31:51):
But regardless, y'all can't be best friends anymore if you
feel that way, because either you're gonna tell her and
perhaps she'll consider it, or you're ever gonna tell her
and you're gonna feel awful. I think you need to
just kind of like drop a little hint. Have you
tried that?

Speaker 3 (32:08):
I have?

Speaker 5 (32:09):
It seems like I.

Speaker 4 (32:12):
Don't see a scenario that's worse for you than taking
the risk of at least hinting to her that you
like her. So say, look, what do you want in
a relationship and say that sounds like me and see
if she responds positively to it.

Speaker 1 (32:24):
If she does, then go for it.

Speaker 6 (32:27):
Way.

Speaker 2 (32:27):
Oh man, I hope this goes.

Speaker 4 (32:30):
I'm rooting for you because my my husband and I
were best friends. That's how we ended up together. Yet
I actually was kind.

Speaker 1 (32:35):
Of his supervisor. Okay, but we were best friends. He said,
he's gonna do it now.

Speaker 6 (32:42):
I won't.

Speaker 5 (32:43):
I won't be over.

Speaker 1 (32:45):
Get it over?

Speaker 2 (32:46):
Call us back?

Speaker 5 (32:47):
No, how about y'all call her them?

Speaker 2 (32:49):
What color? What's her name?

Speaker 8 (32:51):
Tara?

Speaker 2 (32:51):
Tara? Okay, what's your number?

Speaker 6 (33:01):
Hello?

Speaker 2 (33:02):
Hey Tara? How are you?

Speaker 12 (33:04):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (33:04):
I'm doing It's Angela Yee and joy Anne Reid. Hey, Hi,
are you in a relationship right now? I'm lot.

Speaker 5 (33:13):
It's a little complicated.

Speaker 2 (33:15):
Is there anybody you like or anybody you would love
to date that you are friends with that can move
out of the friend zone into the boyfriend zone?

Speaker 5 (33:22):
Oh? Man, I do have a very awesome friend.

Speaker 6 (33:25):
I do.

Speaker 2 (33:26):
Go ahead, Sarah, We're gonna be quiet.

Speaker 5 (33:28):
See, you know, we've been best friends for about four
years now, right, Yeah, I've always enjoyed our time together.
You know that, right, I too, But I didn't know
how to say anything. I mean, I love our time together,
you know, and I was thinking that maybe me and
you could get together.

Speaker 3 (33:48):
What does that mean?

Speaker 1 (33:50):
Like, I like what it means.

Speaker 2 (33:51):
I'm really tru He wants to go on a date.

Speaker 4 (33:55):
He wants to get out of the friend zone, is
what he's saying. He's wondering, if you want to be
a relate, a relation should show.

Speaker 2 (34:01):
Let's start with a date.

Speaker 4 (34:02):
Though.

Speaker 2 (34:04):
I love that, Terry, do you mind if we do?
You mind if we hear this?

Speaker 1 (34:09):
Okay? Oh my gosh, was amazing a love connection.

Speaker 2 (34:14):
He was really nervous to tell you that. He was
really nervous because and I said that, like she may
not want to ruin the friendship, but he really really
cares about you a lot. I mean, for a while.

Speaker 1 (34:27):
Are you surprised, Tara? Is this a huge surprise to you?

Speaker 5 (34:31):
I could say lest I felt a little bit. It
was never just put on strong, just forthcoming.

Speaker 2 (34:38):
But I never be direct. That's what I was talking.
All right, we got to get back to the show.
But thank y'all so much. I am so glad. But
please check back in with us. I want to hear
how this first date goes.

Speaker 1 (34:49):
Please, okay, sounds good?

Speaker 2 (34:52):
All right? Thank you guys. Luck Well, that was asking.
That was a cute one today.

Speaker 1 (34:56):
That was a good one.

Speaker 2 (34:57):
Joy and Reedom brought out the love from people.

Speaker 1 (35:01):
Look, we're are all about love. We need it more
than ever.

Speaker 2 (35:03):
We need these bright stops, don't we.

Speaker 6 (35:05):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (35:05):
All right, well, speaking of Joy and Reid, when we
come back, we want to talk to you about just
what's going on in the world, things that you talk
about on the Joy Read Show. And y'all better pay
attention because I want you to get like real facts.
I don't want y'all just looking at headlines, looking at
misinformation from people on social media. Let's get the real
information right here. It's way up and no beg.

Speaker 1 (35:28):
We about to do this one of lemos to famous
women in radio vidio. We're talking about Angela.

Speaker 2 (35:32):
Ye, you're way up with Angela yee. Please believe that
what's up his way up with Angela Yee. And Joy
and Read is guest hosting with me today.

Speaker 1 (35:41):
That is so fun.

Speaker 2 (35:42):
Thank you for being here. Last time you were a
guest and I was like, I would love for you
to come back and guest host and you did, so
thank you for that. Right now, I said, this country
is like, how would you describe it? Chaotic? As we're
looking at everything that's also happening with Charlie Kirk, and
a lot of people are now getting in trouble losing
their jobs for seeing how they feel on social media,
which is free speech. Right, that would be considered free speech,

(36:03):
but people are actually being targeted. They're getting ducks. They
are people that are now calling employers. They have a
whole list, and they're talking about making sure that people
that have anything negative to say about Charlie Kirk is targeted.
I want to ask you this, do you ever hesitate
personally when you're like I want to say something, Because
one thing I like about you now is that you
have this freedom that you didn't have prior when you

(36:26):
were on a major network.

Speaker 4 (36:27):
Yeah. I mean the only way in which I restrained
myself is I try to be a lot more careful
in what I'm saying. I don't have a fourteen person
team to do research, etc. So I take my time
to really think through what I'm going to say and
make sure that I'm not just off the cuff or
speaking out of anger. This actually the shooting actually happened
when we had already finished taping our show that day.
We pretaped that day, and so by the time this happened,
our show was done. So I didn't see any reason

(36:49):
to break in and sort of give my thoughts until
I really figured out how I would respond, Because Charlie
Kirk attacked me, right, because that makes it seem personal.
I didn't want my response to seem too personal, if
that makes it. But if I had been at MSNBC
in this moment, I wouldn't have been able to even
report that he had ever attacked me. I wouldn't have
been able to play tape of him saying anything, including

(37:10):
his attacks on Michelle Obama, his attacks on Katanji Brown Jackson.
What I'm relieved about is not being in that corporate
environment where they were literally sent a memo essentially saying
if they said anything about Charlie Kirk other than that
he was a good family man who loved to debate
and loved his children, they will be fired. Like Matthew Dowd,
who was a conservative contributor, was fired right now.

Speaker 2 (37:29):
Talking to Jui An Red, the host of the Djoirid Show.
You know Katanji Brown Jackson. I remember he said that
she wasn't qualified basically to be even though she had
way more accolades and a lot of the other Supreme
Court justices.

Speaker 4 (37:42):
Yeah. I mean the reality is, this is a man
Charlie Kirk delated Charley Clucking again and is not right
to shoot and kill someone.

Speaker 1 (37:47):
Nobody should be shot and killed. No one's justifying that.

Speaker 4 (37:50):
But this is a man who dropped out of junior
college who was saying that myself, Katanji Brown Jackson, and
Michelle Obama stole a white man's spot because we all
went to Harvard, and that we didn't have the brain
processing power to be taken even somewhat serious.

Speaker 2 (38:05):
So, black women, there's no way you could be smart
enough to get into Harvard unless it was stealing a
white man snailing a spot.

Speaker 1 (38:12):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (38:13):
I was just asking all those questions because I'm also
looking at people who are now losing their jobs and
even thinking about they're talking about like revoking people's citizenship
and things like that. I mean, this is unheard of.

Speaker 1 (38:25):
This is unheard of.

Speaker 4 (38:26):
This is a podcaster who was very popular among conservatives,
but I'm sorry, why would the state department get involved
and say if you criticize so the free speech people,
the right wing who say they're for free speech say
that if you criticize this podcast or they liked, you will.

Speaker 1 (38:42):
Have your visa revoked.

Speaker 4 (38:43):
They did a moment of silence for him in the
United States Congress, something they never did for the Capitol
police who literally protected their lives on January sixth, twenty
twenty one. They've never done a moment of silence for
those Minnesota lawmakers who were gunned down in their homes.
No moment of silence, or for any of the children
who died in school shootings, no moment of silence. They're
honoring this man, literally comparing him to MLK. And you

(39:05):
had a writer in the New York Times compared Charlie
Kirk to MLK in paragraph one and in paragraph two
said that doctor Martin Luther King Junior, Reverend doctor Martin
Luther King Junior, and Charlie Kirk had quote almost nothing
in common.

Speaker 1 (39:18):
Well, maybe you need to tell us what they did.

Speaker 4 (39:20):
Haven't come right, as I can't think of anything that
other than dying right in their thirties, too young, All right?

Speaker 2 (39:25):
Joy Ann Reid is here with me today hosted The
Joy Reid Show. She's also an amazing When we come back,
it's way up.

Speaker 4 (39:34):
You want to know my name?

Speaker 10 (39:36):
Way up with Angela ye.

Speaker 1 (39:39):
What's up?

Speaker 2 (39:39):
His way up with Angela yee. And as you know,
Joyanne Reid has been guest hosting with me today, but
of course I have to take a moment to talk
to her about everything that's going on here in the
United States. You know, I want to ask you this too.
The other day I was talking to g Herbo, he's
from Chicago, and they interviewed him on TMZ and they
were asking him about the National Guard coming in Chicago,
and he was like, anything that can make our w

(40:00):
men and kids safer, and so I just want to
because he's not a political person, he said as much.
But I think people are looking at, you know, the
National Guard coming into New Orleans, to Memphis, to d C.
And they're thinking somehow that this is gonna make it
safer for people in these areas. I want to know
what your thoughts are.

Speaker 4 (40:19):
I mean, I have a lot of empathy for black
communities that have felt both over policed and underpoliced over
these years, Right I mean, the crimes and the violence
will happen in our communities, and there's no point in
calling nine one one, like Public Enemy said back in
the day. And so I think there are a lot
of people who are getting fooled into thinking that Donald
Trump is sending the National Guard to help that to
do something about that. What I would say to people

(40:40):
who believe that is you have to understand in DC,
for instance, the National Guard is not going into the
high crime areas. They're where the tourists are, They're where
the white folks are, They're where the monuments are. They're
not delving into the wards where it's also dangerous. And
also even if they did, National Guard has no arrest powers,
no policing powers. There's so thing called the Passikomi Tatis Act.

(41:02):
It's in the constitution. Our military cannot arrest our citizens.
Number Two, the federalized police that they're sending in they
are harassing, not helping anyone. They're not solving crimes, they're
not investigating crimes, and they're actually has federal agents not
supposed to do that. So if there's a carjacking in
the community, that's still your local police that are going
to respond to that, not the National Guard and not

(41:23):
the federal agents. And the last thing I'll say is
the federal agents are coming in to make a visible
presence to scare immigrants. That's their only purpose is to scare, detain,
and isolate and take and take immigrants off the street,
to kidnap immigrants. They're not there to fight crime. The
whole fight crime thing is just a story Trump is
telling because right now the anti immigrant store isn't helping him.

(41:44):
Dragging all these immigrants out of the country is hurting
our economy because businesses that need immigrants, restaurants, farms, the
companies that rely on construction companies are really hurting, and hotels,
places that use a lot of immigrant labor. He's now
feeling that pressure to roll back on the immigrant story.
So they switched the story to crime. None of the
people they're deploying, federal agents, federal police, or the Guard,

(42:08):
they don't arrest people for crime.

Speaker 1 (42:10):
They do not solve or fight crime.

Speaker 2 (42:12):
And I see in DC that they have said that
the local police are not going to cooperate. That's nice,
and so now that's causing a bigger issue for Donald Trump.

Speaker 4 (42:20):
In Chicago, they've said the mayor. We interviewed the mayor
for the joy Reshil that he was very clear. We
interviewed Governor Wes Moore from Maryland very clear. Their National
Guard in Maryland will not be cooperating in Chicago. The
Chicago police will not be cooperating. In Baltimore, their police
will not be cooperating. So now what you're going to
have is competing officers and.

Speaker 2 (42:38):
What they're dounding a mess. This is as yeah, all right, well,
thank you so much for all of that, and thank
you for guest hosting with us today. You know, you
