The both we all started coming in all Landow together.
They one lives in La the other lives in Dallas.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
Okay, listen.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
One of the best things is when you can come
up in business with somebody like those friendships are are
some of the most you.

Speaker 6 (01:56):
Know what's crazy about me? A preacher's friendship is like
now he's like fame and rich and all the chazz.
But when we were both broke, we used for his birthday,
I used to give him a twenty dollars Target gift card,
and then for my birthday he would give that same
card back to me.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
And at one point we both spent the money. But
we didn't know, so we were just giving each other
empty gift cards for our birthdays. Yeah, we were very broke.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
That's beautiful.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Yeah, I know.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
That reminds me. I have a twenty five dollar Target
gift card at home.

Speaker 6 (02:24):
Oh wow, I'm gonna say, I'm gonna send one the
preacher for his birthday tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Okay, is it ever gonna get more like twenty five?

Speaker 7 (02:29):
No?

Speaker 2 (02:29):
No?

Speaker 8 (02:30):
No?

Speaker 3 (02:30):
Okay? All right, Well, Robin, who do you want to
shine a light on? Top that?

Speaker 9 (02:34):
I want to shine a light on my brother Chase.

Speaker 10 (02:37):
Today is his birthday and I want to push my
happy birthday and love mohamma, I'm not gonna care about him.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
What happy birthday? Is he older or younger?

Speaker 8 (02:46):
He's older for years, older than me. He's my big brother.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
He's always been there for me.

Speaker 9 (02:51):
I know how much son love him.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
Oh that is so sweet. I got a big brother too,
don't we love our big brothers? They take care of us.
Hold it down, something go down, like I'm about to
call my brother.

Speaker 9 (03:02):
Absolutely, he's always had my dad.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
All right, Well, thank you so much. Happy birthday to him.

Speaker 7 (03:08):
Yes, ma'd thank you.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
That was Shina Light eight hundred and two nine fifty fifty.

Speaker 4 (03:12):
If you couldn't get through, you could leave a message
and you could shine a light that way for a
last word.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
And when we come back, you're yee t.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
Kim Kardashian is giving Northwest a ring, but not just
any ring, her engagement ring from Kanye will tell you
why it's way up.

Speaker 5 (03:28):
They say, the rooms from industry shade to all the
gossip out sending angels feeling that yet it's way up.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
At Angela, yee, I'm here. My guy, Aqim Widds is
here with me. Hey, hey, let's get into some of
this yet. Tiger Woods, there's a biopic set about him
on Amazon MGM and that is going to be produced
potentially by the Obama's Higher Ground.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
All right, so that's their production company.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
And it's based on the book The Tiger Slam, The
Inside Story of the Greatest Golf Ever Played. It'll talk
about the rise of him as a child prodigy turned
a golf star.

Speaker 10 (04:04):
I won.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
If they're going to do all of the drama, they.

Speaker 6 (04:06):
Are, You know they are because that's what people are
going to tune in for. Yeah, yeah, that's not I'm
a tuning in.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
I mean, how could you not right.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
I also oping tag Woo was with my daddy. I
was adopted my last name Woods. He was out here
on the streets.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
Now you have one.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
I don't know, a bunch of money, I would be
all right, I'm now.

Speaker 4 (04:22):
Kim Kardashian as revealed on Keeping Up with the Kardashians,
is that the name of the show does Hulu? Is
it also called No, It's called the Kardashians, right, So
she revealed that she's giving Northwest her first engagement ring
from Kanye. It's a fifteen carrot diamond ring and he
proposed that back in twenty thirteen.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
And here's the reason why.

Speaker 11 (04:41):
But my first one that I got engaged with Kanye
was a cushion cut and that was the only piece
of jewelry I owned that I didn't take to Paris.
So I left my original ring that I got proposed to,
which was like the most importance. And so that one
I'm going to give to Norothy because she was with
me when I got engaged.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
That's also the only piece of jewelry she didn't have
with her when she was robbed at the hotel in
Paris back in twenty sixteen, and she didn't bring that,
she said because Kanye warned her, don't you ever wear
both of your rings at the same time. Are you
looking to get robbed? So she didn't even have that
with her, So she's going to pass that down. And
I do want to say also the ring with that
she had with Chris Humphries, that's not going to anybody,

(05:21):
that engagement ring because she had to surrender that ring
as part of their twenty thirteen divorce settlement, she said,
in order to divorce him.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
He said, I had to give him the ring and
the divorce.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
How many rings does she got?

Speaker 4 (05:34):
She was married twice, no three times. Actually she was
married before that to that guy Dave and the producer.
She said, she was actually the one who bought that ring.
And he contributed a fifth of the cost of that
ring too.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
Yike, I know, and then you have to give it up.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
That's crazy.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
Kanye also revealed that Sunday service is returning. By the way,
remember he used to do those Sunday services. Oh Kanye Kanye,
But he said, there's some things that you have to
do if you want to be part of it. That
those who are selected. First of all, he's only dark
male choir members and the people who.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
Are elected have to shave their heads.

Speaker 4 (06:08):
Shaved heads aren't required to audition, but if you get selected,
then you have to shave your head. And the audition
is going to be in LA and open auditions are
going to be held today at four pm and you
have to be five and up.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
They're gonna make five year olds shave their heads.

Speaker 10 (06:24):
The fact that he's the fact that the fact that
people are showed up to that audition is crazy, all
right now.

Speaker 4 (06:29):
Speaking of the Kardashians, Chloe Kardashian on her podcast Chloe
in Wonderland, she talked to her mom about basically having
been hiding under the bed while Chris Jenner and Bruce
Jenner at the time were having.

Speaker 12 (06:44):
Sex under the bed one time. You and your ex
husband were trying and that was over that. Yeah, but
you snuck into my bedroom. I was playing Hide and
go seek and nobody found me and I fell. You
were hiding under mind bad. It was gross and you
didn't get caught. You decided to stay there because it
sounded exciting and you got an ear fall.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Oh yeah, nobody wants to hear that.

Speaker 4 (07:10):
By the way, I always think it's sad when kids
play hide and go seek and they forget about you
and find That's like the saddest.

Speaker 6 (07:17):
Thing because they just want you to play a game
to leave him alone, like yeah, go high, h go high.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
No one looks.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
They never even looked.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
All right, well that is your Yet when we come back,
we have about last night. That's where we discussed what
we did last night. I know you've been working. I've
been out on the street and you're working during the show. Here,
it's way up.

Speaker 5 (07:34):
So about last night, I went down.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
It's way up. But Angela, yee, I'm here. Akeem is
here with me.

Speaker 4 (07:43):
A keen Woods comedian, extraordinary comedian, extraordinary. We got to
get your drop right. What did you do last night?

Speaker 2 (07:51):
Honestly, last night was one of those nights where I
laid in bed.

Speaker 8 (07:55):
I know, I like that.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
I did watch. I watched unfortunately, I watch the Love
Is Blind reunion.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
You keep asked me about and I told you everyone's
calling it Love is Bland.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
It was the worst season of all time. But I
just wanted to like wrap it.

Speaker 4 (08:09):
Up, so I watched that in don't we get dedicated
to something like You'll get into a show and then
you're like it's not that good, but I got to
finish it.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
It was bad, Oh my god, because you know, I've.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
Watched all the seasons, this season in particular, I just
never got into like that.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
So also, all of the men were not doing none
of the men are really hard. And you all know
that love is blind. Well I'm not blind. Love is blind.
Not viewers, I mean, you can't. It was all basic.

Speaker 6 (08:39):
I mean, one if it looked okay, but then as
soon as he started talking, You're like, oh, no, he's dumb.

Speaker 4 (08:43):
So you know me, I'm always trying to find something
that I could watch and like binge weah. So actually
everyone literally in the past couple of days, people were
asking me about White Lotus and if one of the
people yeah, my friend Janey asked me, yeah, a few
different pe but we're like, have you been watching White
loads And I've never watched it and it's already on

(09:03):
what season three? So I started from season one, right,
So now I just said it was So now I
feel good because I have something to do, Like when
I'm at home doing stuff, I've already watched, you know,
Beauty and Black I've seen already, kept caught up with Paradise,
you know, I've been watching all the things.

Speaker 3 (09:21):
I haven't gotten into severance yet.

Speaker 4 (09:24):
Is that it's called severance, I haven't gotten Everyone keeps
saying you got to like stick through it.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
I've never seen it either, but people, I'll do that next.

Speaker 4 (09:32):
But I'm actually liking White Lotus because I like comedies,
and I would say season one, it's hilarious to me.
The guy that manages the hotel, how he just lies
all the time. And another thing that I'm caught up
on right now is Married to Medicine and Quad is
back on this season. She's got her man King. You know,
they're all mad that Doctor G called the police song

(09:54):
King because they got into an argument. But another thing
that's going on the show that I think is really
interesting is Quad and her boyfriend King are talking about
moving in together.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
And here's what happened.

Speaker 13 (10:04):
I don't really see myself necessarily moving into your house.
Maybe we could both come out of our comfort zones
and get something together.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
Now, it may be a man's ego, I hate I'm
not moving into a woman's house.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
That's hid out, definitely.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
Why can't you forego your egos?

Speaker 13 (10:20):
About ego?

Speaker 3 (10:20):
It's about it's just some natural order of things you
tricker right now, And so I was thinking about that
because they both own a home. Her house is beautiful.

Speaker 4 (10:29):
They're sitting in her like hot to while this is happening,
and I feel like, you know, he told her to
rent it out, you know, do something. I want to
know what you guys think about this. Pick aside. But
Quad and King, she wants him to move in. He
doesn't want to move in there. It's the quote unquote
natural order of things. But she has a beautiful home
that means a lot to her. It was her first

(10:49):
home she bought with her own money. I want to
see what you guys think about this. Who's right here
and who's around? Quad and King? Pick aside eight hundred
two nine to fifty one fifty. She has a beautiful home.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
I feel like I think the person with a nicer
house you're also.

Speaker 4 (11:02):
Listening to win eight hundred and two ninety two fifty
one fifty call us at pick a side.

Speaker 5 (11:08):
It's not just right or wrong, it's about what you believe.
It's time to pick a side and stay there.

Speaker 4 (11:14):
Yes, it's the way I put angela Ye. I'm here
with akem Woods and it's time for pick a side. Today,
we're talking about Quad versus King. They are dating on
married to medicine. They both have homes, but Quad says
they spend so much time together they should move in together,
and he does not want to move into her house.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
Here's what happened.

Speaker 13 (11:32):
I don't really see myself necessarily moving into your house.
Maybe we could both come out of our comfort zones
and get something together.

Speaker 14 (11:40):
Now, it may be a man's ego, I ate, I'm
not moving into a woman's house that's hid out, definitely.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
Why can't you forth go your ego?

Speaker 13 (11:48):
About ego, it's about some natural order of things.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
You trickle right now, what do you think? Pick a side?
Akem who are you with?

Speaker 2 (11:55):
I'm moving in whoever is more successful. I'm moving in
whoever house is nicer. That's what I think right now.

Speaker 4 (12:02):
I can't understand why it would be a little awkward,
especially like what if you dated somebody else and someone
else used to live here and da da da da da.
That's a weird feeling. But you know, we just changed
some things around and get over it. The problem is
they're just dating. So what if you guys break up
now and I've moved out of my house? I rented
it out, sold it. What am I supposed to do?

Speaker 2 (12:22):
Nah, that's the hard part. If you go move in whoever, whoever,
nicer house rules?

Speaker 4 (12:27):
All right, Well, I would say I need more of
a commitment before we move in. I would keep my
house and just be over there a lot and like
and unless we decide this is a real thing and
it's together together. I don't need you kicking me out
the house, you know, so I need more of a commitment. Now,
I want to know what you guys think. Nick, what's up?

Speaker 10 (12:44):
Hey?

Speaker 14 (12:44):
How are you?

Speaker 3 (12:45):
I'm good? How are you?

Speaker 8 (12:47):
I am well? Thanks for asking.

Speaker 4 (12:49):
So pick aside quad and King from married to medicine.
Do you think that he should move into her house
or you think the natural order of things they should
just maybe buy something together.

Speaker 7 (12:59):
Absolutely not.

Speaker 8 (12:59):
He should not move into her house. They should probably
buy something together. They should buy something together. Not. Probably.
A man should never move into a woman's house.

Speaker 7 (13:08):
The man is the leader.

Speaker 8 (13:09):
She should be the one who have that option to say, hey,
let's get a home together.

Speaker 7 (13:14):
If she reads the book.

Speaker 8 (13:15):
Sure a thought, I leave the black woman's guys understanding
a black man she would know. But that's a big
no no. You've never moved into a woman's house or
the end she say, my, my mind mine or just
might not feel comfortable to a land, so I will
agree with her.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
All right, Well, thank you for your opinion.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
Thanks, that's one for King.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
Hey Judy, Hey, how are you okay? How you doing?

Speaker 15 (13:36):
I'm well?

Speaker 8 (13:37):
Thank you? Blessed in highly favors?

Speaker 4 (13:39):
Yes you are now pick aside quad or Kings? Should
he move into her home? Or is that a big no?

Speaker 14 (13:44):
No?

Speaker 9 (13:45):
I think that he should move into their and into
her home. If he can't move into her home, we
had seven days in a week Wednesday. They don't have
to see each other. Three days at her house, three days.

Speaker 8 (13:54):
At his house.

Speaker 9 (13:55):
He wants to follow the old school traditional way, and
he could go to the pits of hell with that.

Speaker 4 (13:59):
So yeah, you're right about that though, because if he's
talking about being traditional in old school, nobody should be
living with anybody exactly.

Speaker 9 (14:07):
All right, thank you, all right, have a good one.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
You too, Hey, Anthony, how are you?

Speaker 2 (14:12):
I'm doing good?

Speaker 4 (14:13):
And what do you think about this? Pick aside quad
versus King? Should he move into her home?

Speaker 8 (14:18):
I wouldn't do it. I've done that.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
Oh what happened?

Speaker 8 (14:21):
The first argument, get out of my house, my house.

Speaker 3 (14:25):
Yeah, that's not good either way. So what would you
do in this situation.

Speaker 8 (14:29):
I would get a Neutroul spot.

Speaker 4 (14:31):
Okay, that's what he wants to do. All right, that's fair.
All right, thank you for calling. I'm sorry it didn't
work out when you did it.

Speaker 8 (14:38):
You know what, it actually did work out. We got
back together, we got a new room spot, and things
were much better with the nutral spot.

Speaker 4 (14:44):
Okay, good, So you saw both sides of it, and
you realize me moving in here with you and you're
telling me get out of my house is not going
to work. Absolutely all right, thank you for calling at all. Right, Well,
it looks like it's two to one in favor of King.
They either have to get a play together or if
you want to be traditional, maybe not moving together until

(15:05):
you're married. And you guys get something like that. When
we come back, we have your et and let's talk
about Eve. She opened up on the Mad, Sad, and
Bad podcast talking about her two thousand and seven DUI
incident and how that turned into a pivotal moment in
her personal journey.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
It's way up, yo, She's about to blow the lid.
Ab off this pot.

Speaker 14 (15:25):
Let's get it.

Speaker 5 (15:25):
Oh yeah, angelus feeling that yet, come and get the tea.

Speaker 3 (15:29):
It's way up at Angela yee. I'm here with my guy,
I keen Wood.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
What's up food? Let's get into this yet, Let's get
into it.

Speaker 4 (15:35):
So Eve was recently on Poloma Faith's Mad, Sad and
Bad podcast, and she talked about the time that she
crashed her maserati in La and she got charged with
a dui, and she said that actually became a catalyst
for a positive change for her.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
Here's what she had to say about the depression she
had after that.

Speaker 8 (15:54):
I was just.

Speaker 16 (15:55):
Depressed and then I just drank and drink and drank.
I had a dui and because of the UI, then
I had to wear the thing. It monitors your body
temperature and it can tell from your sweat if you've
had alcohol. Weirdly enough, the anklet made me saying again
because I couldn't remember a time I hadn't drank.

Speaker 14 (16:14):
Now.

Speaker 4 (16:14):
She also said she was taking drugs while she was drinking.
She had a lot of emotional pain. She also was
trying to stay thin because you know, when you're in
the public eye, everybody's monitoring your weight and caring about Yeah.

Speaker 3 (16:27):
Yeah, it's a really tough thing. And so here's what
you have to say about that.

Speaker 16 (16:30):
I was drinking, but I was also like taking Xanax
on top of the drinking, so I was really trying
to be just numb. And I was also trying to
get skinny for videos. So like when I got my DUI,
I wasn't that drunk. I was on diet pills. So
it was just such a bad time.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
And that's why I say, like the.

Speaker 3 (16:47):
Accident, that little anklet definitely helped me. When you're forced
to stay it's sober.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
Sometimes you got to hit rock bottom so you can
get up.

Speaker 4 (16:57):
You know what else too, in a situation like that,
you have to thank God that you didn't kill anybody, yeah,
or yourself didn't get killed, that you didn't hurt anyone.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
And that's like a wake up call.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
Yeah, it should be a way.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
Yeah, And honestly, like learn from other people's mistakes.

Speaker 4 (17:12):
And I think also because this was a long time ago,
this was in two thousand and seven, we have uber,
we have left, we have all of those things.

Speaker 3 (17:19):
There's no reason.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
There's no reason in twenty twenty five, r right, there's.

Speaker 3 (17:24):
It's too easy to get around, too easy.

Speaker 4 (17:26):
All right now, Chris Brown posted, I just want to
take this time to show my thanks and love for
everyone who was doing the residuals challenge. I'm glad it's
giving people the opportunity to be seen and heard real.
R and B isn't dead. And I thank you for
Sup for showing me that. And I see y'all in
my comments asking about the tour dates. And then he said, ed,
we're they coming. What's do you hear? R Kelly doing

(17:47):
the challenge from jail, and everybody was talking about it. No,
I didn't like because and that's the thing nobody's ever saying. R.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
Kelly's not talented.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
No, he's very talented.

Speaker 4 (17:56):
And so a lot of people were discussing that residuals challenge.
We have it, okay, here we played it yesterday, but
here it is again.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
Kill me, hen page, where's my money?

Speaker 7 (18:10):
And kill me?

Speaker 3 (18:26):
Killing me and still making me all of this in
the closet. Remember that's amazing series.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
I hate how fire that was?

Speaker 17 (18:36):
That's crazy, that's why. Oh no, I'm so mad that
I love that song. Oh no, downloaded that was fire.

Speaker 6 (18:48):
He's killing it on the prison title shows he's killing
it first place at all the prison talent shows all.

Speaker 4 (18:53):
Right, And Eminem is reportedly in talks to join an
ownership group that will try to bring a w NB
A team to Detroit. That would be five year they
got the new stadium. Just imagine that. Oh and happy
three one three day Detroit. Today's three one three days.
I will never forget three one three day twenty twenty.
I was in Detroit and you know what happened that day?

(19:15):
That's when everything starts shutting. I was in Detroit and
I'll never forget. I was doing a news interview. It
was three one three day and shout out to Everrody's
another reporter out there. He actually took a picture with me,
and then a couple of days later he was sick
with COVID. Oh no, and I was the last picture
he posted. And everybody was in his comments like is
Angela okay? Well, anyway, that is your ut when we

(19:39):
come back under the radar. These are the stories that
are not in the headlines there under the radar, but
you need to know about him anyway.

Speaker 3 (19:44):
And here's the motto, it's way.

Speaker 5 (19:45):
Up, yeah, news edition in the news that relates to you.
These stories are flying under the radar, all right, its.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
Way up at the Angela. Yeah, and it's time for
that under the radar. I'm here too, Yeah, I know
a keen with Yes, you're here too.

Speaker 4 (19:59):
We don't have no nothing, I know, I know all
right now, According to reports, America's one percent could buy
almost every home in the US. So while a lot
of people are trying to get their first home, they're
talking about affordability, the country's richest one percent has enough
wealth to buy almost every home in the United States,
according to redfin So can you believe that, Yeah, there's

(20:23):
a combined net worth of forty nine point two trillion dollars.

Speaker 6 (20:28):
That's the one Yeah, that's crazy, and that's the one
percent that no one seems to be worried about.

Speaker 4 (20:32):
Yeah, listen, the Trump administration and the Department of Government
Efficiency as we know as DOZE, they're also proposing a
dramatic downsizing of the IRS. That's going to be a
nearly twenty percent reduction of its workforce by May fifteenth,
that's one month after taxes are due in the United States.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
So they want people to turn in their large scale
layoff plan.

Speaker 4 (20:52):
Did you see that one woman that works for Dose
that was doing selfies at work like every day with
her outfit of the day. She took down her inte
grand page. Now yeah, she was like an influencer, all right.
And today, well, tonight is the total lunar eclipse, and
so another one won't be visible in the US until

(21:13):
March twenty twenty six, but it's viewable tonight into Friday morning.

Speaker 3 (21:17):
It's called the Blood Moon, so the moon will enter
the Earth's shadow.

Speaker 4 (21:20):
It'll create a total lunar eclipse for the first time
since November of twenty twenty two. The Moon is then
going to turn deep shades of rusty red throughout the
more than hour long and totally totally, so it'll be
a vibrant visual in the night sky. And if you
miss out on the Blood Moon, like I said, you
gotta wait till March twenty twenty six, that's going to
be happening. You have to stay up all night to

(21:40):
be able to watch us. So it's going to happen
tonight up until into Friday morning, so it's overnight hours.

Speaker 2 (21:46):
They said.

Speaker 4 (21:46):
It takes about typically three hours and thirty eight minutes
for the Earth to pass in front of the moon,
and so many of the US states could have some
clouds interfering with your view, according to the National Weather Service.

Speaker 3 (21:59):
So I think I'm gonna try to go on my roof.
You're going to house? Yeah, maybe will go on the
roof and watch that.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
Gotta be fun.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
I know we'll have some ginger beer.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
Was your roof done?

Speaker 3 (22:13):
It's done enough for us to go up there and
watch it.

Speaker 2 (22:15):
Okay, Well, I'm excited.

Speaker 4 (22:17):
To be able to do that on unrestricted Now we
do have the way it mixed at the top of
the hour. Plus, we have a special guest joining us
today from Real Housewives of Atlanta. She's been a friend
of the show, but this year she stepped it up
and she's gotten a peach and it looks like she's
kind of the person that is the glue that's holding
this season together. From the first episode. She's like the narrator.

(22:40):
She's the first person they show they talk about her
in relation to everybody else. Shamiah Martin is going to
be joining us, and it's a pretty spicy interview.

Speaker 2 (22:48):
I like to get spice, I know you do.

Speaker 3 (22:50):
It's way up.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
Just like the like they Angela Jean, like they Angela Jean.

Speaker 5 (22:56):
Man, She's spilling it all.

Speaker 4 (22:57):
This is yeaky way, It's way up with Angela Yee,
I'm here. And of course my guy, a Keen Wids
comedian extraordinariors here with me. Hey hey, let's you're wearing
my jacket. It's a Montclair Vestco. Ooh, okay, let's get
into this yet. So Emon Shompert and Tianna Taylor, you know,

(23:17):
their divorce sediment was finalized, but the terms are now
making headlines. It was supposed to be something that was sealed,
but this information, this financial settlement is now available. Tiana
Taylor is getting four homes that are worth more than
ten million dollars, a single seven figure payment, several luxury
cars like a three hundred thousand dollars Maybach, a seventy

(23:40):
thousand dollars Mercedes Sprinter, and a tour bus. And she
also has complete ownership of her companies. And he has
to pay eight thousand dollars each month in child support
for his daughters. And he also has to pay their
entire private school tuition. Who is she married to Emon
Shempert now basketball? She also had pointed out previously that

(24:01):
infidelity is not one of the reasons for their separation,
and previously said that they do remain close, but they've
had a lot of issues since then. You know, I
remember at one point she said he like turned off
the electricity and the home.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
All remember all of that happened.

Speaker 4 (24:15):
But according to reports here also saying, you know, this
is just part of the agreement with Tiana Taylor is getting.
We don't know what Emon Shumpert's getting if he's you know,
able to retain the things that he's invested in and
owns as well. So they've been separated since twenty twenty three,
and they reached this legally binding agreement last year in June.
But we're just finding out the details now, all right.

Speaker 2 (24:37):
Rich people got to get them brenubs.

Speaker 3 (24:39):
All right.

Speaker 14 (24:40):
Now.

Speaker 4 (24:40):
Wendy Williams, the assisted living facility that she's been in,
has filed the police report and they're saying that her
niece Alex Finny, actually broke the law. You know, she
spent some time with her aunt, Wendy took her to
an Italian restaurant for dinner, and according to reports, they're
saying that the place where Wendy was staying, Cooderie, actually

(25:01):
called the NYPD and filed the police report claiming that
Alex evaded staff by taking Wendy out of the building.
She can't leave that fifth floor memory unit without an
attendant pushing the elevator button, and they said an attendant
actually accompanied Wendy and Alex down to the lobby and
opened the door of their uber for.

Speaker 3 (25:17):
Them to get in.

Speaker 4 (25:20):
So, Adam, I'm not sure what's going to happen with this,
but there's just so much Wendy Williams says. The guardian
is lying, and she's saying this is even more proof
that she's being treated poorly.

Speaker 2 (25:29):
Yeah, didn't she throw a note out out a window
or something?

Speaker 3 (25:32):
Yeah, like help Wendy.

Speaker 4 (25:33):
The other thing that happened recently is Brock Pears, who
was in The Mighty Ducks. He's a billionaire. He's a
bitcoin billionaire and a former child star. He's offering to
put Wendy Williams up in his mansion with around the
clock hospital care. He told Page six, I've always admired
Wendy's strength, and when I saw her ask for help,
it was impossible to ignore. My offer is simple, a

(25:54):
place where she can find peace, received the care she deserves.
And begin her journey to healing. He's also been on
her video show previously, so that's a beautiful offer.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
Hopefully it's not hollow.

Speaker 3 (26:05):
Listen.

Speaker 4 (26:06):
I don't know if they'll be able to do that,
but you know, hopefully, Yeah, that would be nice. Nini
Leeks has a new talk show now. We talked about
this previously because she has Me and My Homegirl that's
her podcast with Sierragates, but.

Speaker 3 (26:18):
Now she's doing us her own show.

Speaker 4 (26:22):
Carlos King is one of the first guests, and they're
talking about love, tea and a whole lot more than that.
I'm not sure how regular he's going to be, but
I can see him being somebody that's there all the time.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
Here is the preview.

Speaker 1 (26:33):
Okay, so many of you.

Speaker 14 (26:34):
Guys have been saying to me for so long, Nini
do your own show. So here, I am ready to
give you all that I got. I like who I like,
and I'm not a I don't want to get my
Hello Kitty to everybody.

Speaker 1 (26:48):
I want one man to beat it up.

Speaker 3 (26:51):
Okay, okay, okay, Nini, And that is your yeete.

Speaker 4 (26:55):
Interesting because you know Real Housewives of Atlanta the new
season just premiered. It hasn't been on for over a year,
and we actually have Sam and Moreton joining us later today.
She's on the new season. So while that's going on,
Nani's announcing this. All right, ask ye when we come
back eight nine fifty one fifty any question from me
and Raqim, We got.

Speaker 5 (27:13):
You, whether it's relationship or career advice. Angela's dropping facts.

Speaker 4 (27:18):
Shoul should know this, ISSD what's up? His way up
at Angela? Yeah, I'm here with my guy A kem
woods what it does. And I feel like when we
have asked Yea and you're here, it's you know, people
call up because they find you relatable with different things
that they're going through that they might be going through.

Speaker 3 (27:32):
And today we have Alp on the line.

Speaker 1 (27:34):
What's up?

Speaker 3 (27:34):
Alp?

Speaker 2 (27:34):
What up? What's up?

Speaker 1 (27:36):
Angela?

Speaker 7 (27:36):
How you doing?

Speaker 3 (27:37):
What's good? How you doing?

Speaker 2 (27:39):
I'm doing.

Speaker 7 (27:40):
I'm talking to you right now. That means we are alive.
That means it's a good day.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
That's a fact.

Speaker 3 (27:43):
It's me and I Kim were all alive. We're still alive.

Speaker 7 (27:47):
What's your question?

Speaker 2 (27:48):
What's up?

Speaker 10 (27:48):
Bro?

Speaker 7 (27:49):
All good? Yeah? So all right, so check us out.

Speaker 15 (27:51):
So I'm an artist and a DJ, right Okay, DJ,
that's how I pay the bills, right, I'm saying events,
corporate events, weddings, all that stuff.

Speaker 7 (27:58):
But my passion is making music, right, That's really what
I want to do.

Speaker 15 (28:03):
I am not making any money on music right now,
but as DJ, I've been doing it for twenty years.

Speaker 7 (28:07):
That's how I take care of my wife and the
family and all that. It's the bread and butter, right right.

Speaker 15 (28:11):
But I don't want to do that though, you know,
Like I want to focus on the artistry side of things.
So like I'm trying to figure out how I can
balance my life a little bit better so that I
can continue pursuing what I want to do in my
future and not just keep on relying on or reliab
you feel me.

Speaker 2 (28:26):
What does your wife do?

Speaker 7 (28:29):
She is stay at home wife. She day trades and
she helps me run the DJ business too.

Speaker 4 (28:33):
It's nice that at least DJing is in the space
of making music, right because a lot of DJs also
end up becoming producers.

Speaker 3 (28:41):
A lot of DJs talk on the mic and do
fun things like that.

Speaker 4 (28:45):
And if I were you, I would try to finesse
these DJ gigs into getting to like open up for
people you know, doing things where there's artists involved, where
artists are going to be performing, because that's how you
end up getting in people's ear.

Speaker 3 (28:57):
A lot of times we need alliances to get things done.

Speaker 2 (29:00):
Start playing your songs at these events.

Speaker 3 (29:02):
Oh that's a fact.

Speaker 2 (29:03):
And obviously you don't open.

Speaker 4 (29:04):
With them, but like you know, and you get on
the mic and talk and do a little something something,
And that's sometimes so hyph especially when you never.

Speaker 6 (29:13):
Know who's in the room, especially when you're doing those
corporate gates, because I can't tell you why. Times I've
done a corporate gig and after I get off stage,
people like, oh my god, we love you.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
We want to book you for another corporate like bookings,
get booking.

Speaker 4 (29:23):
Can we hear a little something outp since you're on
the air right now.

Speaker 7 (29:27):
Yeah, okay, cool. This is a verse of all one
of my songs New York Hippie.

Speaker 3 (29:31):
Then you put me on the spot Angelo, Listen, that's
how it happens.

Speaker 15 (29:35):
Members of the Dye Bady Committee. I'm admitting then I
love you because you're pretty and witty. My hands are
pretty small, and your eddie biddy's with fin me. But
before you get me, let me get to know your Nikki.
You blew me away when you said you love Biggie
John dyling with bad boys like Jddy.

Speaker 7 (29:52):
You just want to barnol who could put it fifty viddy?
And then now that you're moving there, miss Zippy.

Speaker 3 (29:57):
Oh my gosh, I know you get where can people
find you?

Speaker 15 (30:02):
And my name is al Pizzle? My name is al
Pizzle like for sizzle. This song is called New York Kippie.
I'm a singer, slash songwriter, slash rapper. I'm not talking
about guns and killing people with drugs like that. I'm
just here to have a good time and just help
people grow and just laugh a little bit, you feel me?

Speaker 1 (30:18):
Okay?

Speaker 8 (30:19):
All right?

Speaker 3 (30:20):
That was funny, it was cute.

Speaker 2 (30:21):
I liked it was it was cute. I liked it.
That's awesome.

Speaker 7 (30:24):
That's what I'm going for though, That's what that's That's
the whole premise of my of my music. Though.

Speaker 15 (30:28):
I'm trying to go corny, cute, funny, and I'm not
trying to be that super cool gangster dude, you know.

Speaker 7 (30:33):
I'm trying to be myself.

Speaker 3 (30:35):
Is there an anybody penis committee that you're gonna.

Speaker 7 (30:38):
Have to write that verse because I don't know about
that one.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
We can't say a bunch of the radio. I don't
know about it either. Girl.

Speaker 3 (30:45):
Alright, well, thank you for calling.

Speaker 1 (30:46):
We appreciate you.

Speaker 7 (30:48):
Thank you guys. God bless y'all you too.

Speaker 4 (30:50):
Man, all right, well that was ask ye eight hundred
two nine two fifty one fifty. And when we come back, Man,
today's gonna be a fun day because to me, I'm
moret and is joining us in Real Howives of Atlanta.
You know, normally we do two breaks, but I'm doing
three today. I have to because she had a lot
to talk about. Yeah, she's now a peach holder on
Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Speaker 3 (31:10):
It's way up. Yere's turn me up here we go upgain.

Speaker 5 (31:14):
This is way up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 3 (31:17):
What's up? It's way up with angelayee. And I know
you all excited I for it is just.

Speaker 4 (31:20):
Like I am because you know where Housewives of Atlanta
the new season is that Shamia Morton show. Okay, and
you are here with us right now. So we all
saw episode one where was your birthday? Amazing birthday party
that you had.

Speaker 10 (31:35):
It's just a blessing to actually be able to showcase
my life in this light and actually be a peach holder.

Speaker 4 (31:41):
It also feels like they're centering you as kind of
the main person that everything revolves around when it comes
to friendships, because even how the episode starts, you know,
it's you talking about your relationships and affiliations and you're
kind of like narrating.

Speaker 10 (31:55):
Yeah, which and honestly, when I was doing I didn't
even realize it. I would be like, quote unquote the glue.
I was just telling it how it is. I mean,
I was born and raised in Atlanta. I've done so
much in my city, from you know, acting to dancing,
singing when I Atlanta sucks the Hogs and the Falcons.
I was signed to you know, major label in high school.
So I am Atlanta's best friend. And I would like

(32:17):
to say someone of the voys of Atlanta right now,
so you know, I mean being.

Speaker 1 (32:20):
The black I guess I'll take it. Call me Elmer's.

Speaker 3 (32:23):
But let's get into some things things.

Speaker 4 (32:25):
First of all, because we know that you and Porsche
are good friends together from childhood. We saw the cute
throwback pictures of the two of you, and on this
episode had your birthday party, and people felt like, well,
Porsche showed up late. And then I saw this article
on Collider and it said, Shemi is a great friend
to Portsche, but Porscha's not always a great friend to Shamiah.
And I know that people always get you and you're

(32:45):
a rider died because that's your friend from childhood, no
matter what. And then they started talking about things in
the past that they felt like she should have, you know,
stood up for you there, she didn't come to the
engagement party and things like that.

Speaker 1 (32:56):
I can only focus on me.

Speaker 10 (32:58):
I try to be the best friend that I can
be to my friends and hope that it's reciprocated, and
when it's not, there's only so much I can do
about that. I could just want to continue to show
up and be the person that I know how to
be how my parents raised me.

Speaker 3 (33:09):
Shamiah Morton from Real Housewives.

Speaker 4 (33:11):
If Atlanta is here, I think part of it is
you could check somebody and say it hurt me that
this didn't happen, absolutely that you didn't show up, even
if you're not getting along with this person.

Speaker 10 (33:19):
And I think that's kind of the thing in this group.
Since these ladies are new, they don't know our friendship
so they don't know that. I've had conversations about the
disappointment of the hurt in the past.

Speaker 4 (33:30):
That's old tie behind the scenes. How did they even
approach you? Like what happened for them to sow this?

Speaker 1 (33:36):
And I want to clear this up.

Speaker 10 (33:37):
A lot of people said, okay, you you know she
could navigate a peach. I always got offered, but my
husband wouldn't do it. He was like, I'm nine, But
he was always supportive of me. He was always like, babe,
you do it film at the houses. When the cameras come,
I'm gonna leave. So he was always very Adaman that.

Speaker 3 (33:52):
I can't even be hung.

Speaker 10 (33:53):
I don't know that house is big enough. He could
just go somewhere and he's like, I don't want to
be in the spotlight. But they wouldn't allow me to
have a peach without him, right, so much soda where
even this season when they came to do like the final,
like okay, we're gonna do like a test screen with
you on, you know camera. Jerald was supposed to be there,
were supposed to be playing this big game as a family.

Speaker 1 (34:12):
We practiced it the night before.

Speaker 10 (34:14):
Baby, he was like a runaway bridecular camera's pulled up
in the yard.

Speaker 1 (34:17):
He was pulling out the side gate.

Speaker 3 (34:19):
I was like, Shamiah Morton is here.

Speaker 4 (34:21):
Real Housewives of Atlanta Episode one already aired. We're gonna
get some more tea and what's gonna happen this season?
We got more with Shamia when we come back.

Speaker 3 (34:28):
It's way up.

Speaker 6 (34:31):
And I beg we're about to do this one of
the lemos to flame this women in radio video.

Speaker 5 (34:35):
We're talking about Angela Ye. You're way up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 4 (34:38):
Please believe that what's up its way up at Angela Yee.
I'm here and the new peach holder from Real Housewives
of Atlanta. Before she was a friend. Now she's got
a peach. It's Shamiah Morton.

Speaker 3 (34:50):
Now another thing.

Speaker 4 (34:51):
From the past that I know, I'm sure is gonna
come up, Like when Phager was on there and she
tried to imply that you and Candy were more than
just platonic friends.

Speaker 10 (34:58):
But Candy's not on this season. You missed that, Yeah,
I do, but I honestly hated that. That was a
very nasty rumor. At that time, I was engaged to
my husband, and I guess if he wasn't as secure,
and just if our unit haven't had not done it
could have destroyed what It really seemed valid because you know,
you got Phaser, you got for Shad, They all and SHARII,

(35:20):
they're all sitting right there and it was like, if
your best friend said it, it's got to be true.

Speaker 1 (35:24):
But he didn't move like that. He was like, Babe,
I'm not listening to any of that. I know what
we have here.

Speaker 2 (35:28):
I know what it is.

Speaker 3 (35:29):
Did that cause it ri fot you in Portia? Because
she was there, and.

Speaker 1 (35:33):
Yeah, it did. It was her fault. I was like,
I didn't like that.

Speaker 10 (35:36):
I mean, I hate it's so hard to nic spel
to tea. But it's like even this season, when some
of the ladies would come and ask me, like, yo,
what's up with your girl? She don't show up for
you like you do her, or what's up with this?
I would just meet them with, YO, I mean, we've
dealt with that, We've handled that.

Speaker 2 (35:50):
We're good.

Speaker 1 (35:51):
It's that's old news or that's old stuff.

Speaker 4 (35:53):
Samia Morton from Real Housewives, If Atlanta is here, Drew
is another situation that's been on the show, and you
know her journey with her husband soon to be ex husband.
We're going to be following me that he's in a basement.
But one of the issues there is that she is
working with Portia's X who she has a kid with Dennis,
and people felt like that was wrong, but she said
it's just music.

Speaker 3 (36:14):
They're just making music together.

Speaker 4 (36:16):
But then they were reports that, like, I don't know
if it's true or not, they were like holding hands
or something like that.

Speaker 10 (36:20):
Do you believe that it's just work? Even if it
is just work? Why Dennis? We're in Atlanta. Atlanta is
known for me good music. When I think of music,
I don't think of Dennis.

Speaker 1 (36:31):
I think of hot dogs. I'm like of you know,
I don't think of Dennis.

Speaker 10 (36:35):
So you want to g Lisi, you want to be Yes, yes,
you step outside of the circle and find somebody else.

Speaker 1 (36:43):
I thought that was too much.

Speaker 10 (36:44):
I thought it was then it should have been off
limits so much over work just this week, I'm gonna
show you. I'm gonna show you. Then has just sent
me a message. He of course sent it to myself
and my husband, and he's like.

Speaker 1 (36:55):
Oh, I got a movie coming out. I want you
to do it. And I'm like, no, you read this.

Speaker 4 (37:01):
Let me see dentlemen, Matt, you want to say, what
would you like to read for it? You didn't even
respond because why, I don't want them problems I don't want.
I don't want those problems, right.

Speaker 10 (37:09):
And I like Dennis and I think he's a great father,
you know, and a great friend to my husband, and
we love having him at our parties.

Speaker 1 (37:17):
He's a fun time. But I got a you gotta
draw a line somewhere.

Speaker 4 (37:20):
But okay, now, what if you went to Porscha and
you were like, look, Dennis wants me to read for
this and it's a good cast, and you know.

Speaker 10 (37:27):
Would you we would wait do that with the block
being hot right now, I want the part, but I
matter just wait and we got to see you sing yes,
so now we back like yes, Oh my gosh, Jaez,
I'm so excited, best friend.

Speaker 1 (37:40):
I'm way up. I feel blessed.

Speaker 10 (37:43):
I'm way up because I'm dropping my single tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (37:48):
It's called never had.

Speaker 10 (37:51):
You never had a peach like me? You never had
a best friend like me. You never had you never
had somebody that'll be what you need.

Speaker 1 (38:00):
You never had someone like me. Can't you see see that?
You never had somebody like somebody like me.

Speaker 4 (38:10):
Yes, I'm talking to Shamiah Morton now. Normally when we
come back, we would have last word. But because we
do have Shamiah Morton here and she has given it
to us, all of it to us, we're gonna have
more with her when we come back. Talking about Real
Housewives of Atlanta Season sixteen, She's finally got that peach.

Speaker 3 (38:25):
Baby, it's way up.

Speaker 5 (38:26):
I do this, yeah, y'all more way up with Angela
on now.

Speaker 1 (38:33):
What's up?

Speaker 3 (38:34):
Its way up with Angela?

Speaker 10 (38:35):
Yee.

Speaker 4 (38:35):
I got Shamiah Morton from Real Housewives of Atlanta here
with me today, Yandy. You know they've been throwing all
kinds of curve balls at her on love and hip hop,
and something stuck in my head when she was talking
about can we just have a family make it?

Speaker 3 (38:48):
Like, can we just have one couple that like makes it?

Speaker 4 (38:51):
Does it scare you also about because sometimes it does
harm relationships. People come out to what works, things happen,
things get you know, like you said, what if that
would have affected you even getting married?

Speaker 3 (39:01):
How do you navigate through that?

Speaker 10 (39:03):
And I think, you know, like I always said, I
just keep saying this, but I think God's time is
the right time because we needed this ten years in
our relationship to have that trust and this stability and
knowing like, all right, you're my person. I'm your person.
I'm not going to where you're not gonna wear. So
they can throw all kinds of curve balls, they can
do all kinds of things to try to destroy this union,

(39:23):
but it's blessed by God, and we're not going nowhere.

Speaker 3 (39:26):
All I know is you're in that man's toilet. Oh man,
And let me tell you this.

Speaker 1 (39:32):
This is a part of the added at this because
I was like, I dripped the whole story.

Speaker 10 (39:35):
I tried to get up and go out into the
hall bathroom where you couldn't hear it, and I stood
up and I walked in the floor cracked Jesus And
he's like cooking around the house.

Speaker 1 (39:45):
Yeah, he's like you're okay. I'm like, I'm he said,
oh no, use this one right here. I'm like, oh
my god, I used the one right here in the kitchen,
like when you can't hear me. Man, But that was
the best decision ever.

Speaker 3 (39:56):
He loved you for that.

Speaker 4 (39:57):
You know, they say that's how you know that you
love somebody or somebody loves you when you can just
blow up the battery.

Speaker 10 (40:03):
Throw you don't drink tequila on the first day because baby.

Speaker 4 (40:08):
Moved through you and out Tom and Morton from Real Housewives.
If Atlanta is here, you did the courtesy flesh though
I did.

Speaker 1 (40:14):
Every I kept on.

Speaker 4 (40:15):
I was like, and then you gotta wait first. You
gotta wait for the take to feel back. And you're like, man,
I got yeah, you didn't even do that your wiless drive.

Speaker 10 (40:23):
It was like explosive, Okay, it got a lot of
the oh my god, I do a little song on
top of it, like I'm thinking in here or I
ain't had my phone, and it's like I come pretending
like it was the phone that did.

Speaker 3 (40:34):
Like you gotta turn the water on. No, it was
like it was like, these are all the tips, ladies.

Speaker 1 (40:41):
But so what did he say?

Speaker 10 (40:43):
He asked me if I was okay when I want
into the bathroom, And that was the worst things you
can ask somebody, because it's like, now I know you
heard it, and I love a few streaks in that toilet.

Speaker 1 (40:50):
It was horrible. Try it was no thing around, you know,
you got a little brush ball shit.

Speaker 3 (40:55):
It took some toilet paper.

Speaker 4 (40:56):
Put my hand in there on the toilet paper, not
your actual thing, but put the toilet paper on top
of it, and just oh my Handmi, I'm not putting
my hand in that toilet. So you're just gonna leave
streaks in the toilet.

Speaker 2 (41:06):
Let me tell you what happens.

Speaker 10 (41:07):
Okay, the water sits like you sit in your des
and then it's just kind of disappear in it. You
already know, you know it, you know in the next
and the next blush is when it all goes away.

Speaker 4 (41:19):
All right, begod. Well, I'm happy that things worked out
the way they did. But honestly, I appreciate you so much.

Speaker 3 (41:24):
For coming through.

Speaker 4 (41:25):
Like I'm gonna be following your journey on the show.
I'm so glad that you're a peach holder well deserve,
and like you said, this is your season.

Speaker 3 (41:32):
