Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ye yee is but you all been waiting.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Foh you're tapped in the way up with Angela yee.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
Ay yes, it's way up with Angela yee. And Happy Friday,
or as we call it Friday. I'm out here in
the A. I'm in Atlanta, feeling good. I was at
this in the room event that my girl, Nicole Pointe
de Joor does. She is literally the master connector. When
I tell you, that room was amazing to be in.
It's also a weird time to be traveling, and we'll

(00:29):
talk about that later today. Just because of this government
shut down and today they are canceling flights. One of
my friends already got an email that her flight is canceled.
So I'm just on edge having to deal with all
of these things. But I am appreciative flying out a JFK.
Everybody who is working and not even getting paid right now,

(00:50):
so just prayers for that. I have the ultimate respect
and patience and support and whatever it is that we
can do.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
All right, Well, let's get the show started. Today.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
We had some special guests joining us from the movie
Unexpected Christmas that's in theaters right now. Low Ral Dominique
Perry Reagan Gomez and Anna Maria Horsford are going to
be here again. That is in theater. To make sure
you check it out, make sure you support it. And
when we come back, let's shine a light on somebody
doing something positive. I have somebody who sued and finally

(01:21):
got his seventy three million dollar pay day. He is
an inventor. He has over one hundred patents. Will tell
you who he is.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
It's way up.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Turn your lights on, y'all, light spreading love to those
who are doing greatness.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
Shine light on them, Shine the light on them.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
It's time to shine a.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Light on Oh yes, it's way up at Angela Ye,
and it's time to shine a light. And today I
want to shine a light on Lennie Johnson. He is
an engineer and an entrepreneur. He went to Tuskegee University
and he holds more than one hundred US patents. But
he invented the super soaker that toy has made over

(01:59):
one billion dollars in sales over its lifetime now thanks
to his research, which focuses on energy technology. That's how
he was able to actually invent that. He was experimenting
with a new type of heat pump and that's when
he created the super Soaker. So at a certain point
in time, though, he ended up having to take legal

(02:20):
action against Hasbro, the parent company of NERF and Super Soaker.
He actually won a seventy three million dollars settlement with
them in twenty thirteen for unpaid earning. So even though
he owned that patent, he still had to fight for
what it was that he knew that he deserved. All right, Well, Anthony,
who do you want to shine a light on?

Speaker 4 (02:39):
My sister Nakia Mason working hard with two businesses or
credit repair and also a real estate agent, a winter
cell and help the houses. Just closed on her first
house last week. So just calling the shiny light and
tell my sister I'm proud of her, you know, to
keep going.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
That's dope. That is all about financial literacy real estate.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
You know, I'm all for that.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Making sure your credit is fixed, that's the first step
before you invest in real estate.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
So love what she's doing, yes for sure.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
And also I just finished my real estate in New Jersey,
so shine the light on myself.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
I'm waiting, you know, I got mine in New York.
All right, thank you for calling.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Thank you, Well, that was shining light eight hundred and
two ninety fifty one fifty.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
If you couldn't get through, you could leave a message
and shine a light that way. And when we come back,
we have your yea te and you know what, let's
shine some more lights. Clarissa Shields and yet she has
inked a multi fight deal. She had a press conference.
Sorry I couldn't be there because I'm in Atlanta, but
will tell you what was said during that press conference.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
It's way up they say in the rooms from industry
shade to all of us out Angelas is feeling that.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Yet, Yeah, it's way up at Angela.

Speaker 5 (03:54):
Yee.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
And let's get into some yeet and let's talk about
Clarissa Shields is getting her just due. She did sign
an eight million dollar multi fight contract.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
And here's what she had to say.

Speaker 6 (04:06):
The best thing about this deal is it's the signing bonus, right,
so before I step into the ring, I get a
large amount the amly just like the minimum you know
this other stuff you get. Oh wow, and those deal
is actually bigger than that. That's just the number that
we decided to put out there.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
Now.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
She announced this new two year, eight million dollar fight
contract on CBS Mornings yesterday and it's one of the
most lucrative deals in women's boxing. You know, she's had
opportunities to sign with a lot of different places, but
now she has made it happen. I went to her
last fight in Detroit at Little Caesars Arena, so shout
out to her. Well deserved. All right, now let's get

(04:43):
into Kanye West. He is expressing remorse and taking accountability
for his past hateful remarks that were directed at the
Jewish community. There's a video that is shared from the
account of a rabbi who has about seventy eight thousand
followers on the platform, and here is what Kanye they
had to say.

Speaker 7 (05:01):
Feel really blessed to be able to sit here with
Djday and just take accountability.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
I was dealing with some various issues.

Speaker 7 (05:09):
Polar also, so it would take the ideas I had
and hadn't taken them to an extreme where I would
forget about the protection of the people around me or
and myself.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
You know, he said that he's bipolar, and people aren't
that knowledgeable about the bipolar and the cause or what
causes it and the way you act when.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
You have it.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
So he said, it's like if you left the house,
and you left your kid at the house, and your
kid went and messed up the kitchen and messed up
the garage and mess up the living room. And then
when you get back, it's your responsibility because that's your job.
He said, That's the way I look at it. I
got to go clean up the kitchen. So he just
went to go and take accountability for what it was.
And I saw Nicki Minaj wait in as well and said,
so happy to see Kanye publicly take accountability for the pain.

(05:52):
And his words may have caused to so many standing
with our Jewish brothers and sisters. So Nicki Minaj, on
her behalf, by the way, has so donated to Jamaica
in the wake of all the devastation from Hurricane Melissa
that happened there all right now, Kanye also does owe
back taxes on his childhood home and.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
It's not even you know.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
He owes about fifteen hundred dollars in unpaid property taxes.
That's something that I'm sure he's going to rectify pretty quickly.
He owns his house that he grew up in alongside
his late mother Donda. She sold the house back in
two thousand and three he repurchased roll. Ryan Fest purchased
the home in twenty sixteen, and then Kanye purchased it
from him back in twenty eighteen and has also made

(06:33):
some improvements to that home. But I'm sure it means
a lot to him, so I know he's not going
to let us slip through the cracks for these unpaid taxes.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
All right, Well, when we come back, we got new
music Friday. It's Friday.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
We're going to tell you what you should be listening to. Gee,
Herbo's Little Herb album is finally out. We'll talk about that,
and we'll tell you what else is out today. It's
way up.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
This is a judgment free zone. Tell us a secret.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
Step its way up at Angela yea, and happy Friday.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
You know what it is. I'm out here in Atlanta.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
Shout out to everybody at ninety six point one to
beat because you know it is what it is. We
out here having a great time. I love Atlanta. But
you know what time it is. Tell us a secret.
Eight hundred two nine to two fifty one fifty. You
are anonymous. It's a no judgment zone. What's up, anonymous?
Color tell us a secret?

Speaker 5 (07:22):
So I haven't gone to work technically in three months,
and I've been getting paid for it.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
Oh my gosh, how did you handle that? How did
you make that happen?

Speaker 8 (07:30):
We gonna know.

Speaker 5 (07:32):
I do a little bit of service work and we
have to put work reports in at the end of
the month, at the end of the week, and my
work reports are completed. But I really don't go anywhere.
I go fishing and go golfing. I've been hunting every
other day and I've just been been living a pretty
easy life for the past three months.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
Oh my goodness. So waye, who is doing this work though?
Is it not getting done? Yeah, because you're putting in
work reports.

Speaker 5 (07:58):
So it's residential heat and air and I just have
to go out and change filters and take pictures of
uh people's like units and stuff like that. So I
mean I'll go out, I'll take my pictures or use
some old pictures from previous time. My gosh, yeah, I
mean it's pretty easy.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
All right, Well, enjoy yourself, Thank you, have a good time.
Thanks for calling O.

Speaker 5 (08:22):
Yeah, of course, bye bye.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
All right, Well that.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
Was tell us a secret eight hundred two ninety two
fifty one fifty Just in case you couldn't get through,
you can always leave a message and tell us a secret.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
For last word, don't be nervous, don't be shy. And
when we come back, we have your yee tea. And
imagine you.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
Were in a relationship and your boot was spending three
million dollars a month on you.

Speaker 3 (08:41):
But now you guys are breaking up. What would you
ask for?

Speaker 1 (08:44):
What? We'll tell you who was asking for fifty thousand
dollars a month? Based off of those numbers, it's way up.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
Sure, she's about to blow the lid ab off this spot.

Speaker 9 (08:52):
Let's get it.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
Oh yeah, angelus feeling that yea te Come and get
your tea.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
All right?

Speaker 1 (08:57):
His way up at angela ye And it's time for
your yea t And and let's get into some potential
presidential pardon. Sean Kingston and his mother Janice Turner. You
know they're in prison. They have multiple years that they're facing,
but people are now trying to get them a presidential pardon.
Amongst those people who have lett I can't even speak

(09:18):
written letters on his behalf are Soldier boy Jack Dougherty
and Safari.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
They are pleading for Sean Kingston's freedom.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
They have filed the paperwork and they're hopeful that this
can potentially happen. Sean Kingston again was sentenced to three years,
his mother was sentenced to five years.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
All right, and it's possible, right Dan, you could see it.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
I mean, Lil Wayne and be a young boy, Kodak Black,
They've all gotten their prison sentences.

Speaker 9 (09:41):
Pardon as long as you know Sean Kinson gives Trump
the cloth that he wants.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
Yeah, and I think he would exactly, all right, Sebastian Telfair.

Speaker 3 (09:50):
In the meantime, is you know in jailing.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
You know people are saying him and Diddy are hanging
out at Fort Dix in New Jersey. Well, there is
a documentary, Final Days of Freedom. It's a docuseries that
actually documents those final days leading up to him going
into prison. And here is some of what you'll see.

Speaker 10 (10:11):
Donald Trump, Ho'll at your boy's definitely gonna want a
part of me. But if I'll sit right here right
now on the same conditions, I end up with sixty years.

Speaker 11 (10:21):
Sorry, man, I'm sort of y'all.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
You know, you went from thirty million dollars in Lambos
to being homeless in the same projects that he once
dreamed of leaving.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
That's what the tagline is.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
Fame doesn't get, don't guarantee forever, and the streets don't forget.
Sometimes it ain't about the race, it's the fall that
teaches you everything. I will watch that. And that's my guy,
Sebastian Telfair. He's from Brooklyn. I know he was really
thinking about like being on a mic and being a
He wanted to do more than just sports when he spoke.
So let's see what happens when he comes home, all right,

(10:54):
And David Geffen's a strange husband says that David Geffen
is being really cheap on the spous of support now
right now, David Geffen offered him fifty thousand dollars a
month to meet us a lot, and I know that, Uh,
Dan and Navy, you guys both considered, like what I
all right? But Donovan Michael's that's his estranged husband, who

(11:15):
by the way, didn't get a pre nap filed documents
in where he's saying that he's trying to aggressively limit
his access to temporary and permanent spous of support. He
said David Geffen was spending like three million dollars a
month he's worth eight point nine billion dollars according to Forbes,
and he says that David Geffen is not retired. He's
still a vc funder, a high level investor, and a

(11:38):
power broker, and fifty thousand a month is not enough.
So he believes that he has the right to keep
living that same lifestyle and he cannot do that on
just a mayor fifty thousand dollars a month.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
This is crazy? Does anybody else think this is crazy?

Speaker 12 (11:54):
Now?

Speaker 1 (11:55):
He's also alluding to harm that he says David Geffen
caused him. He says that he solicited when he was
a vulnerable young foster care graduate and thereafter perpetrated physical, emotional,
and psychological harm on him.

Speaker 3 (12:08):
Now, David Geffen's.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
Team is saying that he's already paid him four hundred
thousand dollars since they separated, he's letting him access his
fifteen thousand dollars a month New York City apartment rent free,
and that he wants to settle this divorce, but Armstrong
is trying to delay it. So this is pretty crazy.
I don't know why he wouldn't do a prenup. They
were married for less than two years.

Speaker 3 (12:28):
All right.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
Well, that is your yet and when we come back,
we have under the radar. You know, I got to
travel today.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
I'm in Atlanta.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
I'm going back to New York. I came out here yesterday. Well,
airlines have been canceling hundreds of flights today amidst this
shutdown that's happening.

Speaker 3 (12:42):
Will tell you about it.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
It's way up this in the news that relates to you.
These stories are flying under the radar.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
Yeah, it's way up at Angela yee, and it is
time for your under the radar stories. Well, flight cuts
have begun today, a four percent reduction in domestic flights,
that is what's happening. As of two thirty am this morning,
at least eight hundred and fourteen flights within into or
out of the United States have been canceled. Major airlines

(13:08):
are saying they're going to cut and cancel hundreds of
flights today out of thousands of daily flights. They're going
to start limiting flight capacity at forty major US airports.
I already know my girl Ingray got an email or
ready that her flight has been canceled, So just get
ready for that. And they're saying that even as this

(13:28):
is happening. Transportation Secretary Seohan Duffy says that safety concerns
is the reason for the cutbacks, and even when the
government does reopen, travel will not bounce back immediately, so
just get ready for that right now. Senate Democrats have
signaled they want to block the Republican plans to force
a vote today until they got more commitments on dealing

(13:50):
with rising health care costs, and so they are expecting
that the Senate will stay in session this weekend if
the funding vote does fail today.

Speaker 3 (14:00):
So yes, we need you all to stay and keep
on working and.

Speaker 1 (14:05):
Figure this out. And it's not going to be just
the Democrats should give in. It should be the Republicans
need to make a commitment so that people's insurance is
not going to go up to premiums that they cannot
pay next year, as that is scheduled to happen in January.
So just putting that out there, I saw a lot
of people who also have been laid off or who
right now aren't getting paid. It's a tough, difficult, difficult time,

(14:29):
so let's have some grace for everybody. But I see
a lot of people saying, yes, we got to keep
this fight and the struggle going. You cannot just give in,
So just be careful when you're traveling and know to
have the patience that you need because everybody is going
through it right now.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
And the Mega Million's.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
Jackpot though is eight hundred and forty three million dollars.
It is now the eighth largest jackpot in the history.
And Friday Today's drawing is at eleven PM. So the
last one was one in Virginia on June twenty seventh,
and the previous record of thirty seven drawing was set
January twenty second, twenty twenty one. That was a one

(15:06):
point oh five billion dollar jackpot.

Speaker 3 (15:08):
That was one in Michigan. So get ready for that.
And remember you got to play to win. All right, Dan,
did you play?

Speaker 9 (15:15):
You know I've never played.

Speaker 3 (15:17):
Can you imagine if you played one time and one.

Speaker 9 (15:19):
That'd be great.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
That would be awful for that would be awful, and
you should give me something. I will, yeah, because it
was my idea.

Speaker 9 (15:27):
Yeah, what would be the percentage? What's a fair percentage?

Speaker 1 (15:29):
Like five percent, ten, don't be selfish? Eight hundred and
forty three million, And I suggested it live on.

Speaker 9 (15:37):
Air, all right, Yeah, we could we could do like
twenty Nick can get five percent?

Speaker 1 (15:42):
No Nick can get one? All right, Well, anyway, that
is your under the raidar. Now, don't forget. We got
the Way Up mixed at the top of the hour.
And you know on our Friday we always be rocking out.
And we have the cast of Unexpected Christmas coming up
to Lil Rell, Anna, Maria Horsford, Dominique Perry and Oregan Gomez.
That movie is in theaters today. It's way up like

(16:03):
they Angelie Jean, like they and.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
Jelie Jean, and she's spilling it all. This is yeaty
way up.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
What's up his way up at Angela yee? And it
is time for your yee tea. And it looks like
Megan thee Stallion is really in love. She officially confirmed
that her single Lover Girl is all about Hermie and
Hermie and her man Klay Thompson. Here's what she said,

(16:32):
You're a.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
Girl, all right.

Speaker 1 (16:34):
Well, good for her and good for Klay Thompson. And
it feels like he's like kind of out of his
shell too, because I've never seen him publicly be like
this either. Now in the meantime, Big Sean is denying
that he has a new girlfriend. There's rumors that him
and jenne I Goo broke up, and there was a
picture that was circulating you could see a woman standing
behind him.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
The headline was damn.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
Big Sean spoty with a leegend new girlfriend after wasting
Jennego's time for ten years. Big Sean commented, Yeah, Unfortunately,
I never met this person in my life. This girl
was standing next to hip Boy, who was cut out
the video. I don't know why the f she was
so close to me though I didn't see it at
all till I saw this video and can understand the
frustrations smh. But I don't even know this person at all.

(17:17):
First of all, while you had to throw hit boy
under the bus like that hip Boy was minding his business,
he could have just said.

Speaker 3 (17:22):
I don't know her.

Speaker 1 (17:23):
I guess that is also kind of confirmation that he's
not with Jenne i Go anymore, because he would have said, actually,
we're still together and true Whitaker. That's far As Whittaker's daughter,
and she also appeared alongside him and Godfather of Harlem
is now starring in HBO's comedy series I Love La.
She's also gonna be in the upcoming spring Breaker sequel,
and she spoke to Shadow and Act and here's what

(17:44):
she had to say about being a quote unquote nepo baby.

Speaker 12 (17:47):
I love the fact that she is like not embarrassed
or doesn't feel some type of way about her nepotism.
And to me, I feel the exact same way. Like
I'm proud of my block dad, who like made something
of himself and is like a legend, And to have
that's so close to me able to like pull from
that and be so like heavily inspired, like I'll never
be embarrassed or feel weird about being associated with like

(18:07):
the greatness that he has created.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
I love it because guess what, other people do it
all the time. Why should we get criticized for that?
And if she's doing a great job and grew up
in the business, why not take advantage. I wish I could.
And Grammy nominations have just come out, and of course hip.

Speaker 3 (18:23):
Hop is dominating.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
Kendrick Lamar has nine nominations, including Record and Song of
the Year fort Luther, so that means Sizza as well
an Album of the Year for GNX. That's his fifth
consecutive studio album to be included in that. Now, I'm
gonna give you one of these categories because I know
we care about this a lot. Best rap album. Let
God sort them out. That's the Clips, Glorious Gloilla God

(18:48):
does like Ugly Ji d DNX by Kendrick and Chromacopeia
Tyler the Creator.

Speaker 3 (18:54):
Who would you give it to?

Speaker 12 (18:55):
Dan?

Speaker 9 (18:56):
I want to go Clips. I think Clips have the
album of the year.

Speaker 13 (18:58):
What about you?

Speaker 3 (19:00):
Who would I give it to? Baby?

Speaker 1 (19:03):
You know, I let me sound Glorilla, but I think
it's gonna be Kendrick.

Speaker 9 (19:06):
I mean, I'm a Kendrick stand too, and I just
I don't know. Clips album was so good. GNX was
just like okay to me.

Speaker 3 (19:13):
Jid had a good album.

Speaker 9 (19:14):
Jed had a good oppisode of Gloriala. I would honestly
say Gloriala deserves it more than I do.

Speaker 3 (19:18):
I like Glorilla.

Speaker 1 (19:20):
All right, Well that is your gyeet And when we
come back, we have new music Friday. Earlier we gave
you some previews. We'll tell you what's out today. Album
singles What You Should Be Bumping its way up the
next six with.

Speaker 2 (19:32):
Its relationship for career advice, Angela's Dropping Facts. This is
as ge what's up?

Speaker 1 (19:38):
His way up at Angela Yee, and it's time to
ask yee. Eight hundred and two nine two fifty one
fifty is a number. Any question you have, we are
here to help you out. And today we have Sam
on the line.

Speaker 3 (19:48):
What's up, Sam?

Speaker 12 (19:49):
Hi?

Speaker 5 (19:50):
How are you?

Speaker 3 (19:50):
I'm doing good? How about you? I'm okay, I'm listening.

Speaker 11 (19:55):
So I look at the grocery store and the guy
in front of me paid for my groceries.

Speaker 4 (20:00):
Nothing, he happen to give him a number, nothing, but.

Speaker 12 (20:02):
He just went home.

Speaker 4 (20:02):
I was talking to my boyfriend about my day and
I brought it up.

Speaker 1 (20:05):
To him and said, now, how would you feel if
a woman paid for his groceries?

Speaker 5 (20:10):
I wouldn't be.

Speaker 14 (20:10):
A bet, Like, as long if he doesn't talk to her,
get her number.

Speaker 15 (20:13):
He's like, but I'm fine with that.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
I don't always think that people have intentions, but that
doesn't mean that they don't. And so while you might
innocently have looked at it that way, as I would
have to, I think that you have to take into
consideration that he feels a way about it, And just
because you know it was innocent doesn't mean that he
doesn't feel away. So sometimes I think you have to acknowledge. Okay,

(20:38):
I had no idea. I wasn't even looking at it
the way that you're looking at it. And I understand
where you're coming from. But do you understand where he's
coming from.

Speaker 5 (20:45):
I think it's immature, but I kind of.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
I don't think he's being unreasonable. It's just a difference
in how we view things, and I do think that
men and women look at things differently. Where you're just
looking at it like somebody did something nice, I'm not interested.
I got a man who cares save myself to money.
He's looking at it like man, somebody feels like they
could just come up to my woman and buy her groceries,
which means that it looks like he could just take.

Speaker 3 (21:08):
Her on a date next.

Speaker 1 (21:10):
Now you know, moving forward, if this were to happen again,
what would you do?

Speaker 14 (21:14):
I won't tell him, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
Maybe you shouldn't have. And listen and you can tell him.
I did not have no malice, there was no bad intentions.
I wasn't thinking nothing of it. But I understand where
you're coming from, and in the future, I will for
sure take your feelings into consideration and make sure that
this doesn't happen again. Yeah, and if you don't tell
him it didn't happen.

Speaker 3 (21:36):
No, I'm kidding.

Speaker 1 (21:39):
He's probably insecure, does he normally give you Because to me,
it is a little bit of a sign of insecurity.
It's a thing about respect though, so it's like all
of those different things mixed in and sometimes it could
be indicative of something else going on in the relationship.
I don't know if you'll have other issues.

Speaker 14 (21:55):
We don't, and that's.

Speaker 4 (21:56):
Why I was so surprised. And I'm just like I.

Speaker 11 (21:59):
Thought we could.

Speaker 9 (22:00):
Well.

Speaker 1 (22:00):
I think it's not that he don't trust you. Is
he don't trust that guy? But I do think you know,
relationships are about compromise. And while you may be like
it ain't nothing, it's no big deal. You're not about
to be put your man over some groceries.

Speaker 8 (22:14):
They're right.

Speaker 4 (22:15):
I'll apologize and cook dinner.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
With those groceries that that man paid for. All right, Well,
thank you for calling and good luck.

Speaker 8 (22:27):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (22:28):
Well that was ask ye eight hundred two ninety two
fifty one fifty If you couldn't get through, and remember
you can always leave a message. And when we come back,
we have the cast for Unexpected Christmas. They're actually going
to be giving some great advice when it comes to relationships.
And y'all know Little Rell just got married and he's
starring in the movie. But Anna Mariehorse is going to
be here. Also, Dominique Perry and Reagan Gomez is way up.

Speaker 3 (22:50):
It's turn me up here, we go upain.

Speaker 2 (22:53):
This is way up with.

Speaker 1 (22:54):
Angela ye oh, this is exciting. It's way up with
Angela yee. And I got a cast about you'll like
friends up here, and we're talking about Unexpected Christmas heavy
on the X.

Speaker 14 (23:05):
All right.

Speaker 3 (23:06):
Dominie Perry is here, Hello, Hello.

Speaker 1 (23:09):
Reggean Gomez is here, Hey girl, Hello, ra Howary is here.

Speaker 3 (23:13):
And miss Anna Maria Horsford is here.

Speaker 8 (23:16):
Hello.

Speaker 9 (23:17):
Listen.

Speaker 1 (23:18):
You know I love good holiday movies, and this one, boy,
I didn't know where it was going. But family can
be dramatic and it can be hard, you know, around
the holidays. And Little Rol's character is meeting his girlfriend's
family for the first time, but he slept with somebody
else in the family and she's there as well.

Speaker 13 (23:37):
Can I ask you some Okay, so.

Speaker 8 (23:44):
I don't know if Richard was being this yeah, very well.

Speaker 1 (23:51):
Here's the dishonesty part to me though, when he showed up,
Uh huh, that's when you be like, look, I got
to tell you something.

Speaker 8 (23:57):
No, no, no, you can't say the first moment.

Speaker 3 (24:00):
That's the best time to break the news because the
longer you wait there if you're.

Speaker 13 (24:03):
Surprised and you don't expect, like because you have to
think about how unexpected that was.

Speaker 1 (24:08):
From Richard on the way around and she slept with
your brother and then showed up.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
I didn't know that was your brother. Wouldn't you want
to know right away? Like right away? Well, it's if.

Speaker 8 (24:18):
We're not close.

Speaker 3 (24:19):
See that's the thing too.

Speaker 8 (24:20):
If me and my brother's not close, weren't you they.

Speaker 15 (24:22):
Didn't weren't you? They didn't carry because you just happen.
It's like an overlap when you giving away to.

Speaker 3 (24:31):
It's in the very very beginning.

Speaker 1 (24:32):
But just to say he's got a situation. This is
how it starts, Richie.

Speaker 3 (24:37):
Don't you think it's like.

Speaker 8 (24:38):
Let you get a way that way?

Speaker 3 (24:40):
Oh, you gotta understand it though, Richard.

Speaker 13 (24:42):
The only thing I believe Richard was wrong and this
is something something I had to work out when I
was playing the character. Was it's interesting watching this young
brother from a privileged family. I thought it was kind
of cool that he was acting like a spoiled Bratton
away when he made everything about him. That's really what
his problem was. He couldn't commit. He ran from everything.
He wouldn't face anything, whether it's his parents, he just

(25:04):
wouldn't face any He.

Speaker 1 (25:05):
Just runs typical, I'm kidding, Typical Richard, Typical Richard. Right now,
we are talking about the movie Unexpected Christmas in theaters
right now with little rel Raking Gomez, Dominic Perry, and
Anna Marie Horsford.

Speaker 3 (25:17):
Okay, let me ask you this though.

Speaker 1 (25:18):
For everybody, don't you feel like if I go somewhere
with you and there's somebody in that room and you
had a past with them or slept with them, don't
you think you should let the person that you're with.

Speaker 3 (25:28):
No, because I don't think you have to tell everybody
your home.

Speaker 8 (25:30):
Oh no No.

Speaker 1 (25:31):
If I'm gonna be shaking hands and at the table
with somebody, I'd rather hear that from No.

Speaker 3 (25:36):
I wouldn't say I don't know, Angela. If it's the
person you're never gonna see again.

Speaker 8 (25:43):
No, no, no, You're never gonna deal with in that
way again.

Speaker 15 (25:47):
I look, when you get home, don't forget person on.

Speaker 8 (25:52):
I haven't.

Speaker 13 (25:55):
I can't do that because I was in these streets.

Speaker 8 (26:00):
Is no way.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
You know, every war show you see over there, you
know you got some story we didn't get a chance
to see. All right, Unexpected Christmas is in theaters right now.
Let's get ready for the holidays. I'm definitely in that spirit.
We have more when we come back.

Speaker 3 (26:23):
It's way up.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
You tapped in the way up with Angela ye.

Speaker 3 (26:27):

Speaker 1 (26:28):
Its way up with Angela Yee, and I have the
hilarious cast of Unexpected Christmas here with me, Anna, Marie Horsfert,
Little Real, Ragging Gomez, and Dominique Perry little Row. I
saw recently you popped out like my wife our first day.

Speaker 3 (26:41):
Okay, so tell me about this wedding.

Speaker 13 (26:44):
It wasn't a wind, so we got a low okay,
and so we went to Van Eye.

Speaker 15 (26:50):
That's right.

Speaker 8 (26:52):
It was funny and we dressed really nice.

Speaker 13 (26:54):
The whole moment. You were just walking in there like
everybody else is. Like you can see people frustrated what
their paperwork for, like their drivers, like she was different
things and we can't meet it get married.

Speaker 8 (27:04):
That's so funny, and that was fun for me.

Speaker 13 (27:06):
But honestly, I can't wait to give her the ceremony
she wants.

Speaker 8 (27:10):
We're gonna do it next year.

Speaker 13 (27:11):
We're gonna do whatever she wants and do it big
and just let her get that little girl dream of
a princess wedding.

Speaker 3 (27:17):
So what made you guys decide to Elope then instead
of it was it was.

Speaker 13 (27:21):
More of our conversation with God, and we didn't want
that to make the ceremony about what was happening.

Speaker 8 (27:26):
Okay, I'm good, like we just did the van Iss thing.

Speaker 3 (27:32):
I'm satisfied.

Speaker 8 (27:32):
I am because I'm so happy that she let me
be a part of her life.

Speaker 1 (27:38):
Right now, we are talking about the movie Unexpected Christmas
in theaters right now with Little Real Breaking Gomez, Dominique
Perry and Anna Marie Horsford.

Speaker 3 (27:46):
Now, dominic you don't tweet much.

Speaker 12 (27:48):
I don't.

Speaker 1 (27:49):
I used to, but then you did put up. They
said you couldn't wait to get married. He said, you
want your daughter to see you in a wedding dress.

Speaker 3 (27:55):
I do. I just really want her to see what
healthy love looks like, and.

Speaker 8 (27:59):
You know what that means, sustain coming.

Speaker 3 (28:01):
So I hope so yeah, yeah, man, invite.

Speaker 2 (28:06):
Man ready, you take time?

Speaker 3 (28:09):
Yeah, in these movies, come in, come in, come in.
Do you date though?

Speaker 15 (28:16):
I'm very kind of secluded, so I don't really know
like where to go even need somebody.

Speaker 8 (28:21):
I go to the I go to Ross coming.

Speaker 15 (28:25):
He had rolls the okay, interesting dat I choose wrong.

Speaker 13 (28:32):
Ladies make, especially like successful black women, make interesting decisions
about who y'all give the opportunities to.

Speaker 3 (28:40):
You gotta get one that you can train. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
you have to train man a certain one. They don't
know what they want, so you have to say you
want train.

Speaker 15 (28:53):
Probably a good woman knows how to train a man
without him thinking he is being.

Speaker 8 (29:00):
It's so funny.

Speaker 13 (29:01):
I joke about this those stage that, well, I'm like, well,
you know, I only got like.

Speaker 10 (29:04):
One year left on them. Keep defending myself because it's
a waste of time. Yeah, I'm learning there, like me
just putting up a fuss. It's just me holding on
to like I'm a man I should have to say
and everything. But like, honestly, keep.

Speaker 8 (29:17):
The peace, fam. If you got who you got, is
it really worth the push back? All right?
