Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to Will you accept this Rose? A production of iHeartRadio. Yeah,
oh my god, you guys, it's finally cooling down, I
always say, and hell, you've got to wait to uh Halloween.
But this has come early. Samba came early Halloween. Samta,
I like it. There's a stray cat in my yard.
(00:21):
He picked the best podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
Hello, Doug, how are you?
Speaker 3 (00:27):
Where's your capitalist supposed to be quiet?
Speaker 2 (00:30):
You're right, You're right. I talk, You're right, I talk.
I haven't. I've let you in.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
I've been invited you to the party.
Speaker 3 (00:38):
Hello.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
Welcome to another episode of Weeks And this is my
name is Artomy County from my bougie garage in Los Angeles, California.
Before we start, I want to give a very special
thank you to the woman to my left without who
literally had the hardest editing job in the history of
For the people who were at the live show at
the Bellhouse, it's finally up and you all heard one thing,
(00:59):
and what you heard and then what's has gone up
just for a variety of reasons. The amount of things
that you had to cut that was like the hardest.
I give this woman a raise because but the podcast
is off and.
Speaker 4 (01:11):
Live shows are hard to edit anyways, because there's a
lot going on.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
There's a lot there was, and that was like a
very fun, very hectic live show. Charity and Dowton were amazing.
They told us some things that we had to cut out,
which was really exciting. I'll tell Doug and we can
cut him out. But uh yeah, my brother was on
fire again. I mean easy dude on fire. He does
it every time.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
We love him.
Speaker 1 (01:35):
We were like, we got I've got to protect him.
I've got to protect this man. Anyway, here we are.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
I've learned doctor Bannana's.
Speaker 1 (01:43):
In Berlin, so when she gets back from her World tour,
she'll be back. But with us today are two gentlemen.
There's a guy that was like, I'm not watching, but
I'll watch an episode for you. And honestly, that was
really kind of meant a lot to me because you
could have easily been like hell no, And I was
glad that it's not not what you said. Ladies and gentlemen.
You know that he's our favorite. You know him. He
(02:06):
is literally hosted everything is your cooking show coming back on?
Speaker 5 (02:09):
Hell no?
Speaker 2 (02:10):
Great? Neither my name is it either. I also, I
had a cooking show.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
Also, I wasn't my face though, I was an animated
chefsmith named Sheffy or chef's hat.
Speaker 5 (02:19):
That's even better. No hair and makeup.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
No hair and makeup. But it's also not coming back,
you guys.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
He's the bartender on Paradise, but most importantly, he's our favorite.
He hosts eighteen thousand podcasts. Your Friend, my Friend, Well's.
Speaker 5 (02:31):
Adam, number thirty three on the field, number one, at
your heart.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
That's right, that's right. How are you well?
Speaker 5 (02:36):
I'm so good. I'm so bummed. You keep on asking
me to do like these live things. Oh my god,
and I we can never can do that.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
The Bellhouse was so fun, and I thought there was
a chance because you were in New York, but we
missed you by like a week.
Speaker 5 (02:50):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, because Sarah was doing a little shop
and I really wanted to do that, and like hearing
that that charity and Dotton got to do it, like
there's a little bit of a it was.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
I'm gonna be honest with you. It was really fun,
Like it was incredibly fun.
Speaker 5 (03:09):
I did my first live podcast in Nashville.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
Yeah, you were the first. Oh okay, your own.
Speaker 5 (03:14):
Yeah for wift. Yeah, and like, I need to do
more of that stuff. It's so much more fun. It's
so fun, like to have like immediate gratification from people.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
It's the most fun.
Speaker 5 (03:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
Because I also think that podcast fans are the most
loyal like audience.
Speaker 5 (03:30):
We had people that flew from Canada, people that drove
from like Atlanta.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
No, no, that's the most Most of our audience was
not from the New York area.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
They flew in from all over.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
There was a woman that came from Ohio and baked
an entire bakery Hote Chocolate, h o U t e Chocolate.
They were so freaking good. She baked like a whole
Like they drove through the night with like a whole
box of chocolate.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
It was crazy.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
Yeah, they're the best. Well, we're not supposed to announce
it yet, but I'm gonna be a naughty girl. I'm
gonna say We're doing Sketch Fest again up in San Francisco.
Speaker 2 (04:02):
Maybe you could come this time. I think we're the
last weekend of January or.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
First of weekend of February's first weekend of February. Last
weekend of the festival. I would guess. I'd always said
anything to me.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
Nobody said anything, but we're the last weekend.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
You can't make it spoil.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
I don't even know.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
This is just a guest, so you know, we always
can bring one. Last year was Brandon. I'm just saying
it's so fun because I don't know. Maybe somebody else
might be there that also is maybe here. I don't know,
just a guess. I haven't heard anything. Ladies and Gentlemen.
You know him from Doug Loves Movies. You know him
from the Wide World of Doug. You know Dougs. There's
(04:46):
two Dougs.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
Yeah, we're you know, two Dougs co hosts the show,
remember when you did it?
Speaker 2 (04:50):
I know, but I like, for some reason, I like
it is a Wide World of Doug. I don't know why.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
I mean, there's both insane. They're both insane titles, but
I love them. But most importantly, he's the captain of
the podcast, Ladies and Gentlemen, Doug Benzay, how I'm good?
Speaker 3 (05:05):
And you were asking about the captain's hat. Captain's hats
are not practical, don't really you know, they're flimsy, Yeah,
you know, and they get beat up really easily. And uh,
it's October so I wear my hat with the ghost.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
Of it's really cute. I've thought about you know what.
I actually thought you looked so cute in the pink
hat that.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
You that June a June squib hat.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
Yeah, and what did it say?
Speaker 3 (05:30):
Squib?
Speaker 2 (05:30):
I want that.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
I think I was invited to that that premiere, but
I was, but I wasn't in town. But I now
kind of want to go on like eBay and see
if I can get that, because I feel like I
would like cute in a June squib hat.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
I think he would. I think it'd be a good
good look you. My girlfriend wears hers all the time.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
We could be triplet so we could be triplet flames.
Speaker 3 (05:47):
Yeah, we her and I always coordinate, like we don't
wear at the same time. Okayib hats. That becomes like
is this a fan club or something?
Speaker 2 (05:59):
Right?
Speaker 1 (05:59):
I just appre the woman, Yeah, I agree, and the
hat I wanted to say. But talking about appreciation and
then we'll get going. I've wanted my whole life astray
to pick me. There is a straight cat who I've
been feeding now for ada. He hates us, and that's fine,
but it's a unagu lady. It keeps her coming back
from war. You know what I mean, Doug, do you
see a cat? He's gorgeous.
Speaker 4 (06:20):
I'm a little worried because he did kind of like
go under a port. He's fine, and I'm worried or
I have to call the fire department.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
Oh no, no, no, no, he was he. I saw
him come out of that port. Okay, yeah, I got
very No. I think it was actually good that he's under.
It's a safe space room because it's coyotes around, so
I've been feeding him.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
It's closer than I've ever been. But you're right, his
face shows.
Speaker 4 (06:40):
Came up to me, but I thought he was gonna
attack me.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
His face was shaking and his whiskers were quivering.
Speaker 2 (06:45):
We've named him Chalk, and he was going. That's one
of was how Chalk.
Speaker 1 (06:48):
Behaved at the at the bowling thing. Okay, here we
are here, we are guys. How are you How are
you feeling about this season so far?
Speaker 2 (06:58):
How are you feeling about Joan? Doug take it away.
Speaker 3 (07:00):
I'm curious about what Wells has been not watching. But
you watched this one.
Speaker 5 (07:05):
Yeah, and I feel like I are.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
You beat the Yeah, you're gonna get the.
Speaker 5 (07:09):
It was a good episode for me to come do.
Speaker 1 (07:11):
Okay, so tell us overall thoughts of like, because I've
really enjoyed this season.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
I hear ratings are down. Is that true?
Speaker 3 (07:20):
Think the whole Bachelor things.
Speaker 5 (07:25):
Because I have been on the TV, Doug, I mean,
I don't even kid yourself.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
We always say, I mean, look, I've Jesse has grown
on me and I like Jesse.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
We love our wealth, give it to walls.
Speaker 5 (07:36):
Well, why one takeaway was Okay, they're right about to
do hometowns. They're still stuck in this fucking bitch.
Speaker 2 (07:42):
Yeah, you're right. They didn't go anywhere, go anywhere.
Speaker 3 (07:44):
The dates were pretty spectacular.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
They meant they had r O Speedwagon, they had Disneyland, Taylor,
Taylor Dane. That that Jordan went on.
Speaker 3 (07:53):
You've had actual performers, you've heard of podcast. Secular couple
doesn't have to pretend to know who they are.
Speaker 1 (08:02):
Mela Road is playing. I love Temecula Road.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
So this was the lowest rated premiere in franchise.
Speaker 1 (08:08):
I think that's so rude considering how high rest or Gary.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
That's so rude.
Speaker 4 (08:12):
On Reddit, everybody is like this is upsetting because it's
the better.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
It's a really good it is a better shot.
Speaker 3 (08:17):
It might be the best season of the Bachelor franchise.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
And it's entire it's incredible, and really it's to watch.
Speaker 3 (08:25):
Yeah, you know, there's still tension and awkwardness, but it's more.
It's so much more pleasant and it.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
Is nice to see each man leaves delighted to have
opened up and made friends, like each man leaves crying
about his romances and Joan. They're all like, there's a
place in my heart for Joan. But more than anything,
I found myself friendship. And they all like cry and
say I love you on the way out.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
It's so sweet. It's so sweet.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
It's like they're all in a hostage situation together. They're
just stuck in a house. Yeah, and when they come
in so nice. Yes, and then they're just all nice
to each other. I mean, it's I've never been sad
for people being eliminated on these shows like I am
in this season.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
It's great.
Speaker 3 (09:05):
You actually feel really bad about it.
Speaker 1 (09:07):
I'm going to go out on a lemon and say,
has there been a villain? Because we were guessing the
guy was gonna be a villain, but guy did the
He did the mansion man and then he was just sweet.
Speaker 2 (09:14):
He took the hit with Captain Kim. They're all just
nice guys.
Speaker 3 (09:17):
Last night was the first time in this season that
someone has said, can I steal you for a minute,
and it was her.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
Yeah, you know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
These guys are all but chocks at getting a little
out of control.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
Is putting his stick on the table. And he's also
he's so horny. He's the only one that like tongue
kisses her. Her kisses are very chased on, like tight,
they're tight, and he is like horny. And I'm here
for it because I think she's horny back for him, Yes,
I hope.
Speaker 3 (09:45):
So she seems to be enjoying the whole making out
with a bunch of dudes process.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
Okay, so here we are, We're in. You're right. They
had to kisses back.
Speaker 3 (09:54):
Every time, push anybody away, But a.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
Lot of them are kind of tighter things.
Speaker 3 (09:58):
They need more smoochy makeout and it does go.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
My theory was, but it looked like they didn't even
have to. Mark self eliminated himself, Like my theory wasn't no, no, no,
But he he got tight.
Speaker 4 (10:12):
He chose, that's true, he chose.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
He did it to himself. You have to think about
I guess we'll get to it. But like these ways,
they don't have a lot of practices in.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
This world, and I I have thoughts about this and
I'm team Okay. So my theory was that Mark. They
wanted Mark from the get go to be the back.
Speaker 2 (10:25):
I gave him the Bachelor edit they came.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
I know, he had the best Golden Bachelor editor, any
Bachelor edit.
Speaker 4 (10:32):
The exit, Well, I dislike it because I feel like
they need someone a little older.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
He's to fifty eight.
Speaker 4 (10:37):
By then, well isn't he fifty fifty seven? So le'll
be fifteen. But still like, I think he should be
over sixty. I think you should have your AARP card.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
Great. Yeah, yeah, I mean Gary was seventy two. Yeah, like,
what the fuck?
Speaker 3 (10:50):
A great?
Speaker 2 (10:50):
Sixty five?
Speaker 4 (10:51):
Are you getting your Social Security shows? Then you can
do it.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
But I will say he had less game even than Charles. Yeah,
he had no game, and I'm here for more a shot.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
He's a shy guy. I liked that. I love a
shy guy.
Speaker 3 (11:02):
I like this seemed like when he was showing up
on you know, Kelsey season, on Kelsey season, and then
like sitting in the audience at the final rows of
the last season and uh him being uh, everybody just applauding,
like he just was like such a heroes welcome for
not having done much.
Speaker 2 (11:19):
He's hot and he's warm.
Speaker 3 (11:22):
He seems like he had a board together. Then. I know,
it was really weird how much he blew that day.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
It made me wonder if the producers, who I think
they always had their eye on him to be and
we'll get to it, but it makes me wonder if
they're like, uh, oh, our lead might be stilted, like
like can he be the He could be the lead
though he's.
Speaker 3 (11:40):
But they could have edited him better too, Like they
just really leaned into so you'd understand when he gets
thrown out. They leaned into the shots of him just
sitting there not knowing what to say. They're on this
amazing boat, like every other guy would have been talking
a mile a minute now.
Speaker 4 (11:55):
But also he was so different with the guys in
the house.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
Yes, and they all really like to know and he's
more comfortable and past pass Gal grew on me too,
And we'll get there. Okay, before I'm going to preview
of what's to come of what your thought is and
then we're gonna come back to it. What's your headline
of your preview of what's your thought is, well, yeah.
Speaker 5 (12:13):
I think you're right about like it was always going
to be him. Yeah, and I think that, Yeah, I
don't think it went down the way it really went down.
Speaker 3 (12:22):
Okay the edit.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
You think the edit was a little different.
Speaker 5 (12:24):
Then, yeah, and I and I disagree with you a
little bit. I think they gave him almost a perfect
bachelor to be the next Bachelor edit at the.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
End, yes, oh, at the end, for sure, I was.
Speaker 5 (12:35):
I was still protecting her a little bit.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
Yes, I wonder if I thought, Okay, here we go,
so we're on the Golden Bae. Mark is excited for
Joan and then she said all these previews of can
I steal you? First sec So past Gal is in
his tidy whities and he's steaming his shirts and he's.
Speaker 2 (12:55):
Like, Pascal has been a surprise. He could have been
a villain.
Speaker 5 (12:58):
That's what I was gonna say. I thought he was
supposed to be the.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
Villain, I know, and then he hasn't been, and he was.
Speaker 3 (13:03):
Like he's dudes.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
He loves and he's done everything, and he's supportive and
even though he's like a full fledged divo with a
capital D like he is. He is Diana Ross like
like but he but he's a good sport like he's
like I like Gucci.
Speaker 5 (13:20):
I like there's a part of me that as wedding
for him to be, Like, Okay, if I don't, when
can I be part of the throuple?
Speaker 2 (13:25):
Yeah, he's definitely, I mean, honestly, I would be. He
might be relieved by that.
Speaker 5 (13:31):
Like, I just think he's so chill and French and French.
Speaker 1 (13:35):
He's a hot, sexy French older man hairdresser to the
Chicago Stars like and he's there in his looking tight
for he's at a snatch a little bat at sixty nine,
fully just in his he doesn't cameras. They're fully steaming
proudly because he hasn't done his laundry yet. You can
see his dingus and you can fully see his black box. No, no,
(13:58):
you could full and honestly, he was packing Katie your
brot to patrol.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
He was packing hey for he had some energy he has.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
Biggy doesn't know how to do anything around the house.
Nobody he's always asking. That's steaming is hard. I mean
that to figure out what to do.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
But that was like a big move for him.
Speaker 1 (14:18):
He doesn't do domestic chores, you know, seeing how fast
he's driving because he did not like when.
Speaker 2 (14:24):
Joan drove and I'm driving.
Speaker 1 (14:28):
So fucking fast because he's driving on fire through the
streets of Chicago and that like convertible. Next week, so
here we go and Pascal. So he's like, before of
my friends were going, I missed these guys. My heart
is sad. I miss my friends.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
I miss the guys.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
So they're all hanging out and Chalk is like every
week Joan gets more and more proactive to me. He
is locked and loaded. He's the guy that's like, I'm
not here to make friends, and I kind of don't.
I feel like at sixty nine as a widower, he's
right like just fucking go.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
Do you agree?
Speaker 6 (15:02):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (15:03):
I mean, you're not feeling Chalk.
Speaker 7 (15:06):
No.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
I like Chalk.
Speaker 4 (15:07):
I think he's gonna win a great like really yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
She keeps me like, oh, there's multiple god the way
I like. But he's the only.
Speaker 4 (15:13):
One I see.
Speaker 2 (15:14):
Here's where I see how he won.
Speaker 1 (15:17):
Last week, his mom died, he laughed, she thought she
lost him for good. Then he came back and she's like,
oh my god, I think the prospect of losing him.
Made no mention of his mom again, no checking in
about the mom. Now, that could have been the edics,
like she was a hundred fucker yeah exactly.
Speaker 5 (15:35):
And you guys probably said this, but what a full
circle moment. Didn't she have to leave because her daughter
was exactly?
Speaker 2 (15:41):
But she didn't come back. Yeah, yeah, she didn't come back.
Speaker 5 (15:43):
He was able to come back.
Speaker 2 (15:44):
He went to a funeral and got the same episode.
We were like, how much time.
Speaker 3 (15:51):
Maybe he was gone for a few days, but I
would hope that would bring him a little bit with
Joan that he you know, like, I think she really
respected that he left.
Speaker 1 (16:00):
No, I think she was glad he was back. I
think she was glad.
Speaker 3 (16:04):
She was happy to see him. But interesting, she's got
there's got to be something in these men. The way
the show presents everybody, how does at the roast, like,
how does she eliminate any of these guys they're actually
they're actually good guy cute dates all of the time.
Speaker 2 (16:21):
I know that she actually has really good guys.
Speaker 1 (16:23):
They actually in the beginning, we weren't sure if they
cast it well they cast it amazing, they didn't great.
Speaker 5 (16:28):
I think there needs to be a date where they
talk about their politics.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
Yeah, yes, but maybe Joan doesn't care.
Speaker 5 (16:37):
Yeah, I know.
Speaker 3 (16:40):
She's got to be a little conservative because she seems
like money.
Speaker 1 (16:44):
Joan feels like she's like not political and just wants
to be in a couple so bad. She's like, I
don't know, the guy takes care of it, Like she
feels a little.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
Bit like that, but that she did but that she
did do coding, was a coder. But she's so locked
and loaded on the like I mean, she's.
Speaker 4 (17:01):
Maryland though they're pretty liberal.
Speaker 1 (17:03):
Who knows it's like DC, she's like DC adjacent. I
feel like it could be anything.
Speaker 5 (17:08):
But going back to your thing about like not being
into chalk.
Speaker 2 (17:14):
The name of our podcast cat Yeah yeah.
Speaker 5 (17:17):
But my issue is like, if you were to put
yourself in jones shoes, what do you want the guys
to be doing? Because I do think that there is
a fine line between like not being too overbearing but
also being like I want someone to give a shit.
Speaker 1 (17:33):
About I think if I was her, I would want
to know that somebody was in Also, considering how it
went down with Teresa and Gary, like, I think you
want somebody that's like I like you. I'm surprised like that,
I feel so hard. But like, I think guy is
playing it right too with his the one equation, the
different quantifier or the like different you know you have
(17:54):
the one variable has been you, like, I think he's
playing it right with I've never been happy. All I
can look about, like the new edition is I'm happy
because of you.
Speaker 3 (18:03):
I think both of those guys are on their way
to not being the winner for those exact reasons that
they're coming that. They're like, it's you and me, it's us,
We're it. I think five other guys, you know, like
a bunch of guys in Chalk is sitting there last
night just being you'll get to it.
Speaker 2 (18:19):
But he's just very no, no, you're right.
Speaker 3 (18:21):
He's very insistent that they're the couple and it's done.
Speaker 2 (18:25):
But I think Joan likes it. I mean, I'm putting
on my Joan hat.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
I feel like Joan Joan is so like, oh my god,
am I betraying my my ex or like, you know,
my my husband.
Speaker 2 (18:35):
I think she needs, like she keeps saying, I want
to feel safe.
Speaker 1 (18:38):
I feel like Keith got the roast because he was big,
Like he got Night one Rose because he was a
big guy. Like, I think she wants somebody that comes
in and is like I like, like is a rock
and his steady eddie to me of what she seems
like she feels like she wants.
Speaker 4 (18:54):
I think I think she doesn't want to fuck around.
I think she's literally said it multiple times. I miss
being in a couple.
Speaker 2 (19:00):
I miss okay, narrowed.
Speaker 3 (19:02):
Down to every guy that's left their wives.
Speaker 1 (19:05):
Died no no, no, or guy, Oh, Jordan got divorced and
Guy got divorced.
Speaker 3 (19:11):
Okay, but last night we're both separated.
Speaker 1 (19:15):
Not so we have Chalk. There's Chalk, Pascal. What happened
to Pascal?
Speaker 4 (19:19):
He's never mentioned.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
So we have children.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
So there's one guy with the wife died.
Speaker 4 (19:30):
I think that's like they've totally bonded over that.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
So the only person with the dead wife is Chalk.
Speaker 1 (19:36):
Then we have two divorces, which is God Jordan and
God and Guy.
Speaker 2 (19:42):
And then Pascal has just been with everybody.
Speaker 5 (19:45):
And uh, the guy who thinks would be the baster.
Speaker 1 (19:50):
He's gone, but he's gone. But yeah, but they only
trauma bonded. I felt like it was only about like
we lost our spouses. I feel like Chalk has been
able to go, You're my future.
Speaker 2 (20:03):
We can move on. Okay, so we're gonna get started.
And here we are.
Speaker 1 (20:06):
And Keith was not himself on his date that and
he choked. He feels like he's been he got the
first impression Rose and he's been stalling. So Trista they
wheel out Trista and she pays a visit to Joan
and she there's there's gonna be no date Roses this week,
and she wished that she had let her now husband
(20:29):
know where she was at more and she's like, you
can't be it.
Speaker 2 (20:32):
She's like, I'm analytical.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
You have to just go for it and be all
in and don't don't hold back. It was interesting that
she said that she has that regret. Why do you
think she was saying that they got married. They've been
together for like a thousand.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
Years like during the show, I guess, yeah, but she
says she still regrets it. Yeah, It's like, well he won,
so it's all right.
Speaker 4 (20:53):
Maybe there's just like she felt bad that he was
so stressed.
Speaker 2 (20:56):
I guess, so then I.
Speaker 3 (20:59):
Can focus on that part because I was like when
is this parking end and that it wasn't even very
long really.
Speaker 1 (21:06):
So then so then Keith, uh Mark, Keith is like agonizing,
and Mark felt like he was disappearing or disappointing his
exs and and uh so then the low and behold,
the date goes to the first date goes to Keith.
(21:26):
So Keith is so excited and they go on the
helicopter date, and all the guys in the pool are
super jealous, particularly our boy Chalk.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
He can't handle it.
Speaker 1 (21:35):
He's like the guy that gets someone on one date
and then loses his ship. That there's still like seven
more weeks, like like what Devin was like, they want
to like wrap it up now.
Speaker 3 (21:48):
But he's better at being friends with all the other guys.
Speaker 5 (21:51):
Yeah, yeah, I get in the pool this much.
Speaker 4 (21:57):
Oh yeah, they're so stoked to.
Speaker 3 (21:58):
Have a pool over was clearly planned. They were like
everybody in the pool and look at look at the sky.
Speaker 1 (22:04):
They also had really fun last week, did a really
fun Chippendale's date, and the guys just went for it.
There was no negative self talking about the body.
Speaker 3 (22:12):
All in much better shape than several of the bachelor's
on the last season.
Speaker 2 (22:17):
They just went for it.
Speaker 3 (22:18):
They are all in good shape.
Speaker 1 (22:21):
They were like all in and they were like doing
the body roll and a few of them like spread
open her legs and like pretended to kind of like
go down on her.
Speaker 4 (22:29):
It was like, I was like their kids are like
it was.
Speaker 2 (22:33):
Like chalk went chalk went down. Mark was kind of sexy,
and then Keith Keith was and then Keith literally.
Speaker 1 (22:42):
Couldn't stop bringing up that it was his like twenty
year old dream to do it. And then he did
it again later alone and it was like a little
like he was like for real it.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
She was like it was too much. She didn't like it.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
He brought it up again too many times. He was
too into it. So she liked it, Like in the
group setting, she didn't like it. Although yeah, she was
like she had the icky. So then I you know
what he so he's like, you know, I just need
to shore that I have all sides. Meanwhile, uh, they
(23:14):
arrive at a winery where Brian and Lisa are. Brian
and Lisa have the winery. Are you are you going
to get a winery?
Speaker 3 (23:20):
Doug?
Speaker 2 (23:21):
You and Alicia? No, your parents they were like still yeah,
they were.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
They were definitely drinking wine and like fucking in a
yurt and getting high. They were definitely like I'm sure
they would open it up to Pascal, you know what
I mean. They were just like so when they're and
then of course she's like, how long have you all
been together?
Speaker 2 (23:43):
And they're like thirty two? She's like did somebody say
thirty two? Wait? So she got super triggered. It was
thirty two years.
Speaker 5 (23:50):
You think that that was true for that couple or
do you think that yeah?
Speaker 4 (23:56):
Her up, Yeah, there's no she let's ruin this. I
hired a rel I.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
Didn't realize she's only been a widow for three years,
Like she's like three years ago. That was me, mister
and missus. I was like, oh, that was like a
kind of reset after thirty two years?
Speaker 2 (24:12):
Was that true? I feel like the time has moved around?
Speaker 3 (24:17):
Okay?
Speaker 4 (24:18):
One thing she said she felt like Mark wasn't ready
if I remember correctly.
Speaker 3 (24:21):
Yes, yeah, six years for him, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (24:25):
Solid point, solid point. He died in January twenty twenty one. Wow.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
Okay, Okay, So that's that's timic pandemic.
Speaker 2 (24:35):
That's new. That's new. That sucks.
Speaker 5 (24:39):
By the way, I like how they took a helicopter
from like the mansion to what I can only assume
is like malibi, Yes, you didn't need to take this
ride if it was, oh, it was, yeah, except for.
Speaker 1 (24:54):
Just like chalk hey, chob hey, chock. You know, Keith
is definitely packing heat. Keith and just a giant.
Speaker 2 (25:02):
Don was flying over.
Speaker 5 (25:04):
That was a little bit like under the giant.
Speaker 2 (25:06):
Like yeah, yes, Dott and the charity. Don had a
good joke. He said that was it Keith. He said
that Keith felt like of mice and men. Lenny, there's
like petticard that he's gonna accidentally snap her neck like that. Yeah,
he said he was lenning him. That was good.
Speaker 1 (25:27):
I think Dot's gonna do stand up. I just but
he's gonna do it.
Speaker 2 (25:31):
It's Seth Herd. I just saw Seth Herz who did that.
He posted about it.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
We all went out for drinks afterwards with Dot's mom,
who I loved, and then Dot said he always wanted
to try stand up, so Seth said he could do it.
Speaker 2 (25:42):
I saw he's doing.
Speaker 3 (25:43):
You came sweet. Yeah, go to swe where's that Chelsea
Music Hall.
Speaker 2 (25:48):
It's a great show. It's a really great venue.
Speaker 1 (25:50):
It's a really fun stand up show, there's always fun popping.
So like, if you guys came to the show and
you enjoy dot and go give him some love at
his first stand up gig. I'm excited for that's very brave.
Speaker 2 (26:02):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (26:02):
So then they go and she's like, oh boy, wow, okay,
thirty two years my marriage My last husband was thirty
two years. I just brought it down. That could have
been me three years ago. That was me with the
winery Brian and Lisa.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
But now I'm here with Keith.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
So meanwhile, back at the house, Mark is in his head.
He lost Denise, so they're both spinning out. He lost No,
let's get to leaves that are just not read.
Speaker 2 (26:29):
Divorces.
Speaker 4 (26:30):
Yeah, give me a divorce a all day, honey. We
don't need the you know, it's like, we don't need
the pity.
Speaker 2 (26:35):
No, there's so many dead spouses. So he lost it. Also, sorry, please.
Speaker 5 (26:43):
When you're on a date with someone and then you're
talking about how much you loved somebody else, yeah you
know your your past lover or whatever. Yeah, that's a
weird thing to watch to be like, I don't know,
I feel.
Speaker 3 (26:55):
John's real good about being like acting like she's interested, yes,
in what there's saying, but it's like, you don't have
to lay it on that thick and I love my
wife and now she's gone, like, you don't have to,
you know, give all the romantic details necessary.
Speaker 5 (27:10):
Yeah, you're right, Like, there's if I try to be empathetic,
and I'm always like if I was in the shoes
of these people, I'll be like, I'm now feeling jealousy
of I know you're talking about the person and I
can't ever live up to them.
Speaker 1 (27:23):
I know I'm not evolved enough to be able to
handle the hummingbird feeding.
Speaker 3 (27:27):
From I knew the second he told one of the
other guys that story.
Speaker 2 (27:32):
I couldn't tell her. I knew I could.
Speaker 3 (27:34):
It's just too far.
Speaker 1 (27:35):
I'm not I'm not secure in my own skin enough.
You need to really evolved.
Speaker 5 (27:40):
Was your wife's snow white? And she was able to
correspond with the animals.
Speaker 2 (27:45):
And the squirrels.
Speaker 3 (27:46):
She's like, no creatures have spoken to me on behalf
of my husband a failure.
Speaker 1 (27:52):
She has the hawks, she's got the hotst thet.
Speaker 2 (27:56):
They didn't relate. I have a.
Speaker 4 (28:00):
I know, but that's why I think can end up
with chalk because they both were able to be like,
oh no, our dead spouse is are always with us.
We love them.
Speaker 2 (28:07):
You can hear the ring.
Speaker 1 (28:08):
I noticed a ring, and now we move on. I
feel like there was a most and now we move on. Yes,
and he's cool with that.
Speaker 2 (28:14):
He seemed they seem to be like, he's have good community.
Speaker 1 (28:16):
He seems less lost in the past and more present day, like, yeah,
lom My spells too, but I'm so horny for you,
and that's important.
Speaker 3 (28:25):
Keith has a junkie for X. Yes, that's out there
somewhere that he hasn't spoken to in many, many years. Yes,
so that's a weird thing to have got in.
Speaker 2 (28:36):
I thought that was a really I thought he handled
that well in that. So they so she's like, Okay,
I know you're fun, but I need to see the other.
Speaker 3 (28:45):
You best be made protecting his daughters. I mean, why
he had to completely abandon his wife.
Speaker 1 (28:51):
I felt like he hand like I felt like he
who knows what her addiction was and who I don't.
Speaker 3 (28:59):
Know if it was just I'm a chocoholic.
Speaker 2 (29:03):
I'm a chocoholic.
Speaker 1 (29:04):
Assuming I love love is blond, So I wonder who
knows if she was really you know, like who knows
if it was really hard drugs and like if it
was dangerous for the kid, like who knows what it was.
But you know, I think if somebody just won't get
sober and you've got little girls in the house, like,
(29:25):
it's probably more heartbreaking to have like that was sad
to hear, and to hear I don't think anybody chooses
that unless it's bad. Nobody wants to like not talk
to have the mom and the family like, nobody wants
to like, you know, if somebody's just not getting clean
and it's major, I don't think I don't think that's
so he would take that lightly.
Speaker 2 (29:46):
Probably that was.
Speaker 1 (29:48):
A lot, and I felt like he didn't dwell on
it though I thought he could have milked it a
little more, considering all the trauma bad and he could
really milk the girl dad of it.
Speaker 2 (29:55):
All this again, it's.
Speaker 4 (29:56):
Like a different generation where they're just like, no, no,
we're strong, we don't you know.
Speaker 2 (30:00):
Yeah, we just get on with that. They don't talk
about it. So except for other people sort of, I
mean Mark is a little younger.
Speaker 4 (30:08):
Yeah, and then and then Charles.
Speaker 2 (30:10):
Charles, Charles Charles was older too. So then he felt
a connection to Joan.
Speaker 1 (30:16):
You know so so so Mark Mark sees a humming bird,
he lost his connection.
Speaker 2 (30:21):
The hummingbird was like, keep going, go get out of it.
Speaker 1 (30:24):
Joan the hummingbird calms to say, he's so all excited.
Denise had a hummingbird.
Speaker 3 (30:29):
Field like Paradise the raccoon.
Speaker 1 (30:34):
I saw drunk raccoon of the wine bottle. He told
me to go find someone.
Speaker 5 (30:37):
But they got that footage from the robocam right and
almost looks like he's having a heart attack. I was like,
is he okay? Like he's just like hold his chest.
I know, do we need to like administer CPR.
Speaker 1 (30:50):
Du imagining Kelsey watching this back, your dad is having
all the feelings.
Speaker 5 (30:56):
I know.
Speaker 4 (30:56):
I don't think he came off his back.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
No, No, he was a door wall.
Speaker 1 (30:59):
And he's also like a military cop. He was a
military cop.
Speaker 4 (31:02):
I like that there's so in touch with their feelings
and me too.
Speaker 2 (31:06):
I agree with you.
Speaker 4 (31:07):
I think it's really nice that we are. But again,
they don't like dwell on it. They're not making like
the biggest no. No, like we're in touch where I'm
having these feos.
Speaker 2 (31:14):
We're gonna get our Corgis and go for a walk.
Speaker 5 (31:17):
It turns everyone like that though, because the whole thing
is just like NonStop therapy. So yes, it rubs you
really raw.
Speaker 2 (31:24):
And that's true for everybody, for every my.
Speaker 5 (31:27):
Experience, because I was a person that like I just
didn't I never went to therapy. I would fully find
at the end if I remember, I was like crying
and I was like, who is this person? It's because
you're sitting there for you know, weeks on end talking
about your feeling and then having you know, they orchestrate
the conversations with the guys, and they're like, go talk
about your feelings then, and then that's the normal thing
(31:48):
guys do now. So then when you start doing it,
you're like, oh my god, I have this bond with
this person. They know so much about me that they
would normally never know you.
Speaker 2 (31:55):
Meaning the producer or a friend in the in the house.
Speaker 5 (31:58):
Well, producer will be like, hey I need like I
remember for me it was like Evan. It would be like, hey,
you and Evan, go have a chat about you guys
are similar and you have some similar foring. Go talk
about your feelings together. And then you'd be like, oh
my god, we're like best friend. I've never had this
conversation with a man before, and so you can see
it happening with those guys, especially when Mark Lee, You're like, oh,
I can see they're so raw, like they've been talking
(32:21):
about their feelings. But the Mark thing I do want
to talk about. I don't know if I think this
is how it went down to me. In my notes,
I deleted it, but in my notes they wrote, I wrote.
Speaker 2 (32:32):
Can you go to newly delete it?
Speaker 5 (32:33):
Maybe I can remember what I was. I said, Mark,
he's a hummingbird. He's slowly figuring out his exit. And
once that happen, I was like, oh, I know what
he's doing. He's gonna go talk to the guys and
he's gonna say something. The effect of I saw his
humming burner remind me a wife. I realized that, like
I'm not ready or whatever. And I wonder if it
(32:56):
was like, oh, okay, hold on, hold on, hold on,
let's not go down that route then, because we want
this is maybe the conspiracy. Yeah, and I have no
inside information, but I imagine they were like, Okay, hold on,
we do want you to be the bachelor, so we
need to give you a date getting dumped at it
because everyone feels bad. Everyone wants the redemption story for
(33:17):
the guy who gets dumped.
Speaker 2 (33:18):
Okay, question do you and if he went and left?
Speaker 5 (33:21):
It would have been a harder sell for him to
be the Bachelor because it's like, wait, hold on, if
you weren't ready for Joan, why would you be ready
for somebody else?
Speaker 2 (33:27):
Okay? Question question do you think if you're the producer?
Speaker 5 (33:31):
Is a lot?
Speaker 2 (33:32):
No?
Speaker 3 (33:32):
No, I just think they made him look boring. I
think they went against their cause if they were really
trying to bump them up for the next bachelor.
Speaker 1 (33:39):
He was saying that he thinks he tried to he
wanted to leave. Do you think he knew they were like,
you have to go on the day? Do you think
he knew they want to make the bachelor? I think
he was probably cognizant a little bit.
Speaker 7 (33:49):
No.
Speaker 5 (33:49):
I think he wanted to go on a date. They
saved him for the end for a reason.
Speaker 1 (33:53):
Yes, because they knew that he was going to eat
it and then he was going to become the Bachelor
and he needed to get dumped.
Speaker 5 (34:00):
Yeah. I think that's true.
Speaker 2 (34:03):
I I Okay, Katie, what do you think.
Speaker 4 (34:08):
I mean if he's not ready, then he shouldn't be
the bachelor, though I.
Speaker 2 (34:12):
Think he is. Maybe it's just that Joan. Maybe they
didn't have connection. Maybe it's not Joan, maybe she's not
You totally be right.
Speaker 1 (34:20):
If he had he wants like he loved a woman
whose hair was down to her calves.
Speaker 2 (34:25):
Joan is more of a blowout you go to like
dry ball.
Speaker 4 (34:30):
In the military.
Speaker 2 (34:31):
I know, but he picked a woman whose hair was
to hurt.
Speaker 3 (34:34):
But she's gonna say anything to guy. You know what
number was he at that point of like she had
four or five men that she just had more, she
just felt more into Yeah, you know.
Speaker 5 (34:44):
So I just think it's really really hard to make
someone the bacher if they're the one who leaves.
Speaker 2 (34:49):
Yeah, okay, that is true.
Speaker 5 (34:50):
So I want you want to think that if they
really want him to be a Bacheler, it's like, okay,
hold on, you can't leave you.
Speaker 3 (34:57):
You think he.
Speaker 2 (34:58):
Saw the hummingbird and was like, I out of here.
My dead wife. Hummingbird just came and was like, get
out of here, Get out of here, Denise hummingbird.
Speaker 1 (35:06):
Denise hummingbird, like chalk the cat, chrack the cat was like,
you can do this you got the podcast, Denise Hummingbird
was like, get out, dude.
Speaker 5 (35:13):
I just the way that he goes and talks to
the guys.
Speaker 2 (35:15):
Yeah, it felt like a goodbye.
Speaker 5 (35:17):
It felt like that's what it was. Yeah, and then
all of a sudden it turns and it was like
the hummingbird told me. I told me I'm supposed to
be here, and I was like, that's not what I
thought I was gonna see right there.
Speaker 2 (35:26):
Okay, well let's wrap up, Keith, I'll have a quick break. Okay.
So then they go, well, he starts crying. He stopped.
Speaker 1 (35:32):
He saw a hummingbird. She's like, oh my god, this
is right. It's a weight off his shoulders. The hummingbird
told him to stay. I feel good. Meanwhile, Joan and Keith,
I hope to show you another side when you opened up.
Speaker 2 (35:45):
He's been hurt. He opened up about his ex wife.
Speaker 1 (35:48):
He doesn't what happens if he doesn't get hurt, Like
if it what doesn't happen again? His ex wife tried
rehab for addiction, but unfortunately it's a it's a self
diagnosed disease.
Speaker 2 (35:57):
So he took the daughters. Three daughters.
Speaker 1 (35:59):
They haven't talked to her in twent or twelve years
and uh, and so he goes, if we come here,
we got our backyard barbecue. She's think, Wow, there's a
lot of depth. I feel completely different. He kissed her,
she pulled away. He wants more time, Mark wants a
one on one. Mark is manifesting on one on one,
(36:21):
and then we find out that he gets one. Any
final thoughts on the I kind of knew Keith was
going home. I didn't think the date was good and
Mark was not there. I also feel like it's interested
and the two guys that I got those two last
dates didn't make it.
Speaker 2 (36:33):
Do you need to make the connection earlier?
Speaker 3 (36:36):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (36:36):
I don't know. I mean I just think maybe there
wasn't a spark o real Like, I just felt like
there wasn't a connection, Like.
Speaker 2 (36:42):
Why didn't she give him a date?
Speaker 1 (36:43):
I mean, do you think the why didn't she give
Keith who got the first impression Rose?
Speaker 2 (36:47):
Why didn't he get a date earlier? Producers call, Okay.
Speaker 5 (36:50):
It's just really tough. I remember when I was on
the show, I didn't get a one on one, and
then finally I did, and that's when I got kicked off.
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, I and every time I watch
the show, I see the same thing happen. It's the
same thing that happened to me. It's the you're just
(37:12):
too far behind everybody else and it's like, yeah, well,
if you've given me a one on one we had
made out the first like three days, I think things
would be different.
Speaker 1 (37:19):
But sometimes I feel like if you get the first
one on one, you're also not going to make it. Yeah,
first one on one gets forgotten. You set the bar.
Speaker 2 (37:25):
We love him.
Speaker 5 (37:26):
First one on one always has the best story. Yep,
you know, like Marcus.
Speaker 2 (37:29):
Dean had it. Dean had it on Jojo.
Speaker 5 (37:31):
He has a crazy story.
Speaker 2 (37:32):
Yeah, and he had a great one on one.
Speaker 5 (37:34):
Yeah, Marcus had the you know he got an explosion
or whatever.
Speaker 2 (37:38):
Yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah.
Speaker 5 (37:39):
So usually it's like, okay, we really want to hit
hard with really good stories in the beginning, but.
Speaker 1 (37:43):
They don't usually make They don't usually win. First date
doesn't usually win, but they make it far they get
to hometown's usually yeah, okay, any final thoughts about Keith
before we take a quick break?
Speaker 3 (37:53):
Which one is Keith the big guy? First?
Speaker 2 (37:56):
The big guy winery?
Speaker 3 (38:00):
Yeah? He uh you know, he just uh I think
she she's also into these guys that are like not
not putting it all on the table with her, like
in terms of like sounding like they're saying I love
you all you know already, but yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (38:21):
Yeah Keith, Keith just didn't have it.
Speaker 4 (38:23):
No, he just like he he thinks they all, like
you have to think about a lot of these guys
probably haven't been dating a lot, or if they do yet,
they're not practiced different and they just don't get a
lot of you got on, you know, and like it's
like they're.
Speaker 2 (38:38):
Not to talk to some of that is not your wife.
Speaker 3 (38:40):
Yeah, and the cameras as well.
Speaker 2 (38:42):
Yeah, that's a great point. That's a great point.
Speaker 5 (38:46):
They had that little date in front of the house,
look like, and she's like, what do you want to
do after retirement? And he kind of choked, he like
didn't not to say, but also like you might not
know what you want.
Speaker 2 (38:58):
That's actually a hard question, like what's your day? Like
what's it my day? Like now, I don't know what.
Speaker 3 (39:05):
Some guys that are just like fishing, golfing.
Speaker 2 (39:08):
I mean, honestly, what is.
Speaker 3 (39:10):
The daytime activities that old men love?
Speaker 1 (39:12):
I'm gonna ask the three of you, guys, what's a
typical day that you don't have, say you have like
a podcast or something. What's the rest of your day?
You play golf? You every day? How many you run?
And uh so you work out, you play golf? Do
you go out for how often do you go out
for a dinner with somebody?
Speaker 2 (39:31):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (39:32):
Twice a week is a dinner?
Speaker 2 (39:34):
That's a lot? Two times? Okay? All right, okay, Doug?
What do you do during the day? What do you
what is a typical day?
Speaker 3 (39:41):
What do you you know? Unfortunately just working on everything
a lot of the time. But it's a kind of
thing where you can sit there and do it on
your phone.
Speaker 2 (39:49):
Do you watch a lot of emojis?
Speaker 3 (39:50):
A lot of movies and TV?
Speaker 1 (39:52):
I wanted to say, if you guys haven't been to
one of Doug's loved movies, shows the amount of I
as a person who appreciates, Like if you come to
one of my parties, you can see the amount of effort.
Speaker 2 (40:03):
There's it's not a small amount.
Speaker 1 (40:05):
And I and I am all of the elves you know,
no one else's I mean, I am the person that
does it all sure, and so that then I can
go have a good time.
Speaker 2 (40:14):
Like it's done the second I'm a guess at the party.
Speaker 1 (40:16):
I'm not gonna fucking over have do whatever you want,
But like work has been done at your show, the
amount of effort and your games are so funny, the
amount of I appreciate the work that you put in
their thoughtful and funny and create like they're like really excellent,
what a funny game show games should be Like you're
(40:36):
one person staff writing really funny games for movies that
are clever. And I want to tell you how much
I appreciate the.
Speaker 2 (40:43):
Hard work you put it so much. I see how
hard you.
Speaker 3 (40:46):
Work on those well fifteen episodes, that's a lot of
word thing every time.
Speaker 2 (40:51):
They're incredible.
Speaker 1 (40:52):
I still laugh alone at There is a game called
Diarryea Pearlman, and you had to guess if there is
in that he would name them and you had to
guess if there is a scene that had diarrhea in
it or if it had reappearlman.
Speaker 2 (41:04):
And then there was a few. There was one that
was a true question that it has both diarrhea and reappearlment.
That is so funny to me, is so funny to
make it just really tickled my funny bone. Okay, Katie,
what do you do you hike?
Speaker 4 (41:18):
I take the dog out. We go to a hike,
or we go on a walk, or go to a park.
I'll work out. Yeah, usually, you know, cleaning the house
something like that. Okay, don't go out to dinner a
lot these days. Okay, but you know, okay, we get
the dogs. Yeah, making dinner.
Speaker 2 (41:32):
How often do you go out for dinner? Dog?
Speaker 3 (41:34):
Not that all, you know, once or twice a week,
but we uh a lot. But we also now have
gotten in that we're taking care of other comedians dogs.
Speaker 2 (41:42):
Wow, that's nice.
Speaker 3 (41:43):
A comedian has to go on the road instead of
the like paying money to put it somewhere.
Speaker 2 (41:47):
We my god, that's so cute. Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (41:50):
Do you want to watch the Girls sometime? I know
Alicia loves cat. Alicia loves the girls.
Speaker 3 (41:56):
You just have somebody come over and feed him. No,
you really put them up somewhere.
Speaker 2 (42:01):
Somebody comes and stays at the house.
Speaker 3 (42:03):
Oh okay, Oh yeah, the girl al would do that.
Speaker 2 (42:05):
Oh my god, she would kill it.
Speaker 5 (42:07):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (42:07):
They were ready to they were ready to put her.
They were ready to propose to Alicia in the like
hour that they start with her. They were in they
talk about horny for somebody. They were horny for Alicia. Well,
she has a cat.
Speaker 3 (42:19):
I don't have to do that, you know. I think
cats are great, but I'm not really a cat.
Speaker 2 (42:24):
Respect all right, We're gonna take a quick break. We'll
be right back. The eagle is landed.
Speaker 1 (42:41):
We're back, all right. So there's a group date. Mark
got is one on one and they have a bowling
group date. And Pascal is so grossed out by the
shirt and the shoes, and then he was like, okay.
Speaker 2 (42:53):
But you know what I blew is my color.
Speaker 1 (42:56):
He blew my colors and by the way and that,
and she was like, okay, so you put your fingers
in here in yourself. And then he just got a
fucking strike. He killed it past. Gal's awesome.
Speaker 2 (43:06):
He's awesome.
Speaker 5 (43:07):
You think he's bold before you think he was playing
there like how do you do this? And then he's
like really like.
Speaker 2 (43:12):
He's like, we don't bold in friends. I actually for
a long time, I think he hasn't bowled, and I
think that he's just like I'm a fucking good time.
I'm Pascal. I think he's just all it.
Speaker 3 (43:23):
The only strikes we saw were the ones that happened. Yeah,
three times people got strikes like hers. They had to
go with one where she was just dicking around before
they all showed up. They never had her getting a
strike with all the guys, you know, cheering.
Speaker 5 (43:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (43:39):
But you know, because you think about bowling is if
you can kind of get it down the middle, anybody
can get a stroke.
Speaker 2 (43:45):
I am a terrible buller. Are you a good bowler? Dug?
Speaker 3 (43:47):
I was in my day. I haven't bowled in a
long time. It's hard, hard on the.
Speaker 2 (43:52):
Back, you know. And Rhode Island they have duck pin bowling,
which is fun, which is almost like a.
Speaker 1 (43:56):
Little tiny of duck. Duck pin bowling is like it's
they're little most like.
Speaker 5 (44:02):
Chi.
Speaker 2 (44:02):
Are you? I bet you're a good bowler.
Speaker 5 (44:04):
I am a good bowler, of course you are.
Speaker 2 (44:05):
Yeah, you're good an athlete. You're an athlete.
Speaker 5 (44:07):
Yeah. I'm really competitive to I like that.
Speaker 1 (44:09):
I'm competitive person, and it bothers me that I'm not good.
I want to be good because I like games and
I want to win.
Speaker 5 (44:15):
Okay, I can tell you the secret to bullet Yes,
I figured it out. Tell me so you especially for you, Yes,
I do this too. You find the lightest ball that
will fit your hands, yes, okay, and then you throw
it as hard down the middle as you possibly can.
Speaker 2 (44:30):
You have no idea how bad my throw. I have
a bad thing.
Speaker 5 (44:33):
I have no A lot of times it's because the
balls to have in the balls throwing you you know, I.
Speaker 1 (44:38):
Mean in general, in any sport, you've never seen a war.
I could never throw the first ball at a game anywhere.
You've never seen a worst throw.
Speaker 2 (44:47):
I am going to tell it. I can't.
Speaker 1 (44:49):
I have good hand eye, I just can't throw. I
can catch and I can hit, but I can't throw.
It's truly on movie sets.
Speaker 3 (44:56):
And people say can't no, and they mean they just
are going to take the time.
Speaker 2 (45:01):
No. Look, I probably could hire like a I.
Speaker 3 (45:05):
Think somebody could, you know what I mean? Like, you
don't think you're at like the level of the dancers
on Dancing with the Stars, But if you went and did.
Speaker 2 (45:10):
It, I would love to do I would love to
do that.
Speaker 3 (45:13):
Okay, let's do it right now.
Speaker 1 (45:15):
I want to do I want to do it, but
I but I will say, like in there's been some
scenes where I have to like toss a set of
keys to somebody like and the and the camera the
camera like the camera operty like there was almost like
a running people couldn't there was no rhyme or reason
like they couldn't and then they get worried know it's coming,
(45:38):
and there was little like they've never seen. And then
I've gone and played darts with like you know you'll
be on locations like let's go to a bar, so
we go play you there's no consistency of where there's
no rhyme or reason where it goes.
Speaker 5 (45:53):
Look, hey, not everyone's perfected everything.
Speaker 3 (45:58):
Before you.
Speaker 1 (45:59):
Yes, I want now I am competitive enough that I
want to get like a like a picture coach.
Speaker 2 (46:04):
Is that a thing? Dad, Jesse Palm boys, I feel
like Jesse Palmer could coach me, Doddy. I want to
I want to toss.
Speaker 3 (46:22):
There a lot too also though, because you do the
toss of the coconut and stuff on the Yes, the pressure, uh,
you know everybody's watching and you got to get it
and a couple of tries and then it's embarrassing.
Speaker 5 (46:35):
But I got I've gotten to the point now where
I say, Okay, we're gonna rehearse this, but fucking role
because it's always rehearsing, because.
Speaker 2 (46:44):
So you sucked it up to on camera.
Speaker 1 (46:46):
Yeah, what is the craziest thing that has not aired?
Speaker 2 (46:52):
Cut this out and we're back. Great, Okay, I do.
Speaker 5 (46:54):
Not hear that.
Speaker 2 (46:55):
I would never you know, you don't ever we will.
Speaker 1 (46:58):
It doesn't exist. That didn't even it didn't recorded. We
would never keep better happy this in.
Speaker 5 (47:02):
Yeah, so then they know that we.
Speaker 2 (47:04):
All exactly, no, we don't do it. We don't. We don't.
Speaker 1 (47:07):
First of all, you're my friend. I would never do that,
and we don't. We wouldn't even if you were my friend,
I wouldn't do that to anybody. Okay, So uhhe Doug,
he's gonna suck you over. Okay, so they did. They
So Jordan is a good bowler. Turns out, Geordan, I
believe that he Chicago Dad.
Speaker 3 (47:23):
Show a couple of throws each though. Yeah, I wish
they'd given the.
Speaker 2 (47:26):
Score, but he was better. Chalk was like it like
hit the ground so hard. Yeah, well then chalk went.
Speaker 1 (47:34):
So chalk when got behind Joan and he's you know what,
I kind of gotta say, smart moves.
Speaker 4 (47:39):
Can I ask, though, what did you think of her
body language?
Speaker 2 (47:42):
Shewed it, she coused it to make a little bit
holding her Like I was like, is she like actually
physically cold. No. I felt like she was.
Speaker 1 (47:49):
Like I'm a girlfriend like I got like Coco. I
think she was like one of those. And Molly Shannon
talks about it in her book. She and her sister
talking about like the Coco girls are like they're always cold,
like I just I just I need cocoa, you know,
like they're always She felt like like I'm a Cocoa girl,
Like she's just snuggling in and like like he was doing.
Speaker 3 (48:09):
The classic not really really touching the person, arm around
the person, like yeah, you know. It was such a
like guys, I'm just gonna do this so you can't.
It's weird if anybody comes out.
Speaker 1 (48:20):
He wasn't dick about it. I didn't like it for
the other guys. No, I didn't like it for the
other guys. And in fact it felt a little tacky.
But it's like if you want to win, it felt
like the right move.
Speaker 3 (48:30):
Yeah, but she wasn't. I didn't think she was receiving
it other than she was just being polite about it
because she's a really good sport about everything.
Speaker 1 (48:38):
I was dead wrong about Devin so I could be
wrong about this. I have no reading of people.
Speaker 4 (48:45):
I couldn't tell she liked it. But then later on
she was like, oh, I really liked talking the chalk
and I have such a and I.
Speaker 2 (48:50):
Was like, maybe this is a miss lead. Maybe they
fuck that.
Speaker 3 (48:52):
They missed about everybody and that's the piece they use,
you know.
Speaker 2 (48:56):
All right, all right?
Speaker 1 (48:57):
So then he stopped behind her, and then and then
he's all her hair and then he goes which side
of better you?
Speaker 2 (49:03):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (49:04):
Like that one?
Speaker 2 (49:05):
Horny?
Speaker 5 (49:06):
Yeah, horny? I look at the bed or am I
on the bed? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (49:10):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (49:12):
All the other guys were so into the bowl like
that Chalk was really taking advantage.
Speaker 2 (49:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (49:19):
And then he was like he's like, what I like
you casual? Like he was like, look like again, I
got completely bamboozled by Devin.
Speaker 2 (49:28):
So who's to say.
Speaker 1 (49:29):
In my mind I'm reading it all my instincts are
foxed now. But in my brain I feel like he's
winning right now.
Speaker 4 (49:35):
I think he's winning.
Speaker 5 (49:36):
Okay, I mean, your instincts wrote wrong about Devon. Devin
got a good edit. I'm amazed that they gave him
the editor, that they gave him a bigger villain.
Speaker 2 (49:45):
You when they edited it.
Speaker 5 (49:46):
That he was the show ends and they're still editing this.
Speaker 2 (49:50):
You're right, you're right, so yes, like I it's confusing.
Speaker 5 (49:54):
It was the one time where I think that they
really really confused the audience because I've fool because I
think we all did the same thing of like, oh
this is the Maria. I get it. Okay, so yeah
you're not loved, but like, actually you have your interesting
and you know, yeah, that's what they did to him.
And then at the end you're like, oh no, he
everyone was right about it.
Speaker 1 (50:14):
Everyone was right about him, And I felt like it
was so unkind that all of the men in the
house were like, we wanted Daisy or Maria.
Speaker 2 (50:23):
We thought it wasn't.
Speaker 1 (50:24):
You, and they were saying it brutal. I thought she
was a great bachelorette, and I thought they were.
Speaker 2 (50:30):
I was. I felt protective of her.
Speaker 1 (50:32):
Meanwhile, okay, so he's like, I like you casual, he
snuggled in my dog, sheds like crazy her dog.
Speaker 2 (50:41):
So then guy Guy's like, hey, whoa whoa be polite?
Give all the guys the opportunity. Hey I whoa whoa
whoa easy? I need a.
Speaker 3 (50:49):
Variable whistleblower is never the person at the end.
Speaker 1 (50:54):
You gotta just go, you gotta just go. Look, I
look at our next bachelor. He was the one that
kind of kept like he was like the peacekeeper, the
guy who's the next bachelor.
Speaker 2 (51:03):
What's his name?
Speaker 5 (51:04):
Grant?
Speaker 2 (51:05):
Grant was the peacekeeper here?
Speaker 5 (51:06):
Or is he like the best of a bad situation.
Speaker 1 (51:11):
But in the time, and when Sam would fight and
when Thomas would fight, and when Devin he was like, hey,
let's all just keep.
Speaker 2 (51:18):
An even head.
Speaker 5 (51:19):
Well, that was me and I didn't get to be
the bachelor you should have been.
Speaker 2 (51:23):
Would you want to be the bachelor?
Speaker 5 (51:24):
No, I want to be the bartender.
Speaker 2 (51:27):
Yeah, they made us spot for you. Okay. Meanwhile, I can't.
Speaker 3 (51:30):
Believe we already forgot his name is Grant?
Speaker 1 (51:33):
No, you're gonna I literally flushed every season out my brain.
I have no memory. I'm like, who, I just have
to flush it out. I couldn't hold it all in.
So then Chuck doesn't care. He's I'm crazy about her
and I don't care, and then he kisses her like
he's just in.
Speaker 3 (51:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (51:50):
Meanwhile, Jonathan, he's like, hey, I want to talk let
me talk to you for a second. Oh, I love
that you're a mom. Let me show you my father's day.
Here's a whole thing.
Speaker 1 (51:59):
Here's my mom, here's my kids at the pool. Here's
me with hair, here's me with an afrol. He brought
out all the photos.
Speaker 5 (52:06):
Do you ever like an old license?
Speaker 2 (52:08):
There was license. It's like it was.
Speaker 1 (52:11):
It was not a sexy bundle, but it was sweet.
But it was like connecting in a way. He I'm
always saying, when you're the person with the photo album,
you're in trouble. You know you don't want to make
you don't want to make an album like here's our
here's our relationship.
Speaker 2 (52:25):
I need you something.
Speaker 5 (52:26):
What it is, I'm not making fun of The thing
was like, that looks like a like a license.
Speaker 2 (52:30):
It was a license.
Speaker 5 (52:31):
It might be a thing of I can carry this
piece of my mom in my wall at all the time.
So this is an easy thing to show exactly.
Speaker 3 (52:37):
He's got more than one of them, like because she
renewed it at some point. He kept both.
Speaker 1 (52:41):
So then he starts crying. They're crying his kids by
the pool. Meanwhile, guy, the only variable about how happy
he's the happies he's been in years.
Speaker 2 (52:50):
The only variable is Joan.
Speaker 1 (52:52):
Meanwhile, pastcal is like, well, you know, we would spend
She's like, well, I love my family. He's like, okay, cool,
I guess I could hang out with your family meet
them once.
Speaker 2 (53:06):
I also have a family.
Speaker 1 (53:07):
He couldn't be less interested in hanging out at her
sundy day. And he kept saying my children, Yeah, my children.
He doesn't care, He's not gonna do it.
Speaker 5 (53:13):
He did say something I don't know if it was
in this moment, but I clocked it where he was like,
I wanted to come meet uh, come meet my family
and be a part of my business. And it's like,
oh wow, because he's a hairdresser.
Speaker 2 (53:27):
Is he going to get her to do like a testimonial.
Speaker 5 (53:29):
Or like work the front desk like this?
Speaker 2 (53:32):
Whoa wow? Oh wow that Oh yeah exactly. He could
really be like you know the bad from The Golden Bachelor,
the prices, it's extra for him.
Speaker 3 (53:43):
Could just do her hair every day.
Speaker 2 (53:45):
Yeah, oh my gosh. She would love that. So then
guy starts talking guys.
Speaker 1 (53:50):
This ship talker in the group is the first drama
we have about the other guys about Chalk, and he's
the guys are mad at Chalk, like he really blocked us.
Speaker 2 (53:59):
You guys he really like and.
Speaker 3 (54:01):
Do you still get that bad about it?
Speaker 2 (54:03):
They're not that mady. They got a little map.
Speaker 3 (54:05):
Come on, johnbody threatens somebody Now.
Speaker 2 (54:08):
Joan wants to be a couple again.
Speaker 1 (54:10):
She's like, you know what, I feel like it was
selfish at my age to find another great love. But
and that my role is to be supporting and my
role in my family. But it's not selfish. My family
wants us. I do want love.
Speaker 5 (54:20):
I do.
Speaker 2 (54:21):
She's talking herself into a little bit, but I'm here
for it.
Speaker 1 (54:23):
Duke, Yeah, okay, right same while Chuck goes, look, I
can see us together, you know, She's like, he's a
good looking guy.
Speaker 2 (54:33):
And then they tongue kissed. They he tongue kissed her.
Speaker 5 (54:37):
Is that not happening a lot?
Speaker 2 (54:38):
No, it's a lot of tight. She doesn't. She only
Chuck gets that tongue in there.
Speaker 3 (54:43):
But it's more on the lips kissing than most shows
because it's almost kind of like you know, grandparents, they
yes kiss on the lips and stuff.
Speaker 1 (54:51):
So Mark, So, any final thoughts before we take a break,
because we just had our bowling dage.
Speaker 2 (54:57):
I mean I was the least exciting of all the groups.
Speaker 4 (55:01):
Yeah, and I and it kind of sucked that, like
we barely saw her talk to Jordan, her guy. Yeah,
I liked Jonathan a lot in the me too. Made
sad later, but I know.
Speaker 3 (55:11):
Yeah, Jonathan seems cool.
Speaker 2 (55:13):
He's so cute, so he's so handsome.
Speaker 5 (55:17):
Was it explained why they weren't doing roses this week?
Speaker 2 (55:20):
No, I think she wanted to have everybody to have
a fair shot.
Speaker 5 (55:24):
That just turns the rose ceremony into a little bit
of a blood bath.
Speaker 2 (55:28):
Yes, because it would have been only like two guys
being cut.
Speaker 3 (55:32):
Otherwise we were just going back, you know, back and
forth about the out of the group of guys, who's
gonna go? Who the hell is going to go?
Speaker 1 (55:40):
Maybe she knew in advance she wasn't going to give
Keith or Mark rose, and she couldn't deal to cut
them on the date.
Speaker 5 (55:46):
Yeah, or I wonder if the Hummingbird thing happened much
earlier and they were like, Okay, we know that you're
gonna have to end it with Mark. Sorry, I'm going
down there.
Speaker 3 (55:56):
I like it.
Speaker 2 (55:56):
I actually really liked it.
Speaker 3 (55:58):
I like her.
Speaker 5 (55:58):
And then they were like, okay, so now net week,
you're going to get rid of Mark after the date
and then it just leaves to face time.
Speaker 2 (56:05):
Continuum got played with, which.
Speaker 5 (56:07):
You can do totally, especially in that scenario because he's
outside working out, you don't know what day it is.
Speaker 3 (56:13):
Yeah, he can run and cry and tell the eliminations
are sad enough on this season. Then at the end
of the day, go, I've decided to give you a row.
Speaker 1 (56:21):
You don't want to see the suitcase? Pa, going to
get Keith rows a suitcase? PA, I don't think so.
Speaker 3 (56:26):
I like the way they handled it when they're just
being like, I had some time to sleep on it.
Speaker 1 (56:31):
Sure, it's so not like hot time to talk to.
Speaker 2 (56:36):
You, some time to sleep on it.
Speaker 1 (56:39):
We figured out what I'm going to say. Can we
took the angle of I don't see you seeing me
in your future?
Speaker 5 (56:46):
Yeah, I'm giving you the greatest gift of all and
that is you get to be the Bachelor.
Speaker 1 (56:49):
Now, Yeah, you're right, you're right. They I think this
is all correct. Or we're gonna take a quick break
and we'll be right back.
Speaker 6 (56:57):
Oh my god, No they did not, No, they did not.
Oh yes they did, and we're back.
Speaker 1 (57:14):
Mark is having his one on one and he's so
excited and Joan pulls up in her red convertible and
Pascal starts pumping up Mark.
Speaker 2 (57:23):
This was one of my favorite.
Speaker 1 (57:24):
Moments in the episode. Was Pastcal was like, you have
enhanced so much of my life. You know, it was
good that it came last. You've gotten confident. You're like
a new mock. You're a new man Today's day buddy,
like Pascal.
Speaker 5 (57:38):
Well then he says something that was like that touched me.
He was like, you have a beautiful smile. Smile all
the time. Oh my god, because if I'm there, I'm like,
try to sabotage.
Speaker 2 (57:52):
Yeah, you know, they literally he walked.
Speaker 4 (57:54):
He's like, we were just talking about you and how
much we love you.
Speaker 2 (57:57):
No, No, Pastcal was really And I actually at first
when first, I mean, I'm gonna be honest, when Pascal
first got out of the limo and he's he's French
and he's here, I was like, is this guy like
a scam? I was like, no, this is he is
the real deal.
Speaker 1 (58:13):
I believe he's a lady killer, like I like, he
definitely gets the lay days like like and he's pumping
up his boy and he's French and there's like enough
ladies for everybody. You go get him while you smile.
You lead with a smile. And Mark, I know Mark
was like I because I was touched by how much
(58:33):
he was talking about like just this time has enhanced
him as a person, that he's back again.
Speaker 2 (58:39):
Like the friendships are so sweet.
Speaker 1 (58:42):
Really, this is your best friend, Doug, aside from Alisha,
who's your best friend? Who's your best guy friend?
Speaker 3 (58:48):
John?
Speaker 2 (58:49):
Yeah? Your best friend?
Speaker 3 (58:51):
I think probably? You know, John's great. You know. The
thing about living with somebody is that's you. That's your
best friend.
Speaker 2 (58:59):
Did you guys live to other?
Speaker 3 (59:00):
No? My girlfriend? Yeah yeah, I don't really. You know,
he's got a family. I've got a girlfriend.
Speaker 1 (59:05):
Yeah no, no, but I guess aside from your partner,
yeah yeah, yeah, but John, that's nice.
Speaker 5 (59:10):
Who's your best friend? So good?
Speaker 2 (59:12):
I have a couple. I have, Uh, I know.
Speaker 3 (59:17):
That was the question. I have seventeen.
Speaker 1 (59:19):
No, I have a couple. I have my friend Chris,
who is just I've known since I worked at Conan.
She she worked at Conan, and when I first booked
a job out here, she and her then husband like
kind of took care of me. They were like my
aunt and uncle and and like I just I love her.
(59:40):
And then my friend they're all virugos. Then my friend
Lauren Lopkis they're all born in September. And then my
friend Katie. But yeah, I would say in like my
Hollywood best friend is Lauren. Yeah, who's your best friend?
Speaker 5 (59:57):
Yeah, I mean like my wife. I guess, I guess
i'd say that.
Speaker 1 (59:59):
But aside from aside from somebody that you've met out with.
Speaker 5 (01:00:02):
Yeah, yeah, I'm really close my brother.
Speaker 2 (01:00:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:00:06):
And then I have like my childhood best friend and
I'm still best friends.
Speaker 1 (01:00:09):
Yeah, my childhood best friend. Also Katie another September.
Speaker 2 (01:00:12):
Yeah, I like that.
Speaker 1 (01:00:14):
Yeah, yeah, there you go, all right, there you go.
And then my friend Lisa Delarios.
Speaker 5 (01:00:20):
Do you know what you said?
Speaker 1 (01:00:22):
Then Lisa Lisa, she's great, Yeah, exactly, best friends.
Speaker 2 (01:00:27):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (01:00:28):
So then so then uh so they go on the thing.
He's so excited. He checks all them, but she was like,
I'm driving a red Porsche convertible. They go through the tunnels,
he checks so many of the boxes. Mark is great,
but he's a little quiet.
Speaker 2 (01:00:45):
He's a little formal.
Speaker 1 (01:00:46):
Let's get on the yacht. So she's like, whoa, I
can't wait for my hometown. Someone I feel like I
can see her as my future wife.
Speaker 2 (01:00:55):
They got on the yacht. She's fucking freezing, freezing, freezing,
and he's like, Wow, I'm gonna drink more. I'm gonna
drink more champagne. I'm gonna keep drinking because I'm get
this one. There's no blanket.
Speaker 4 (01:01:08):
I was like, where is her?
Speaker 2 (01:01:09):
Give you a little Fisherman sweater? Where does no one
on production have a fleece? They can throw her like.
Speaker 3 (01:01:15):
It's funny how an old guy though, could just be
in T shirt and shorts. Yeah, situation like he's fine,
you know.
Speaker 2 (01:01:23):
She's fucking freezing, and so then it's silence absolute.
Speaker 3 (01:01:28):
I'm like, no, you can't talk about how cold it is.
Speaker 2 (01:01:32):
I know, but you can't.
Speaker 3 (01:01:34):
You can't be like knowing what to say.
Speaker 2 (01:01:36):
You can be like, so tell me, like, how has
this experience been for you? Anything? Like would you do
this morning? Start with the day?
Speaker 3 (01:01:42):
Start with it you have for breakfast?
Speaker 7 (01:01:44):
Literally?
Speaker 2 (01:01:44):
Really what did you do this? We're like, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:01:46):
Did you grow up going do you like to go
to the water, did you grow up go to the beach?
Like literally, just start with anything that anything you could
just literally just start talking anything, and then like, how's
the experience been for I mean, you know, being in there,
how does it feel to be you went through this
experience before? How does it I know it's been has
it been easy for your heart? Just ask anything?
Speaker 2 (01:02:08):
Anything?
Speaker 7 (01:02:10):
No?
Speaker 2 (01:02:10):
Nothing.
Speaker 5 (01:02:11):
I don't believe that that's how it went down. I'm sorry,
I hate it.
Speaker 2 (01:02:15):
I don't know that.
Speaker 3 (01:02:19):
I like if they were like it, go for it,
and they could have gotten those moments of him looking
like he didn't know what to say by just shooting
them while they were waiting to do something specific. They
were waiting for instruction.
Speaker 2 (01:02:32):
Okay, great, take it.
Speaker 3 (01:02:33):
And it was freezing out there, go for it, and
they're like, don't talk about how cold you are.
Speaker 2 (01:02:37):
Okay, great.
Speaker 5 (01:02:37):
So I think he's right. I think that that's what
that was. And I think it gives justification for him.
Speaker 2 (01:02:43):
Being on and it makes her, it protects her.
Speaker 5 (01:02:46):
Yes, I think honestly, because I think this is what happened.
I think a producer was like, okay, reading on the boat, ye,
and then we're gonna play this fun game. So go
down there and sit down, have a glass of champagne
or whatever, and just chill. And then when the captain comes,
then we're gonna play this gamey. This is exciting that
they both were like, Okay, I wonder when this.
Speaker 2 (01:03:03):
They bone them? They bone them?
Speaker 5 (01:03:05):
Well, that's exciting, I know, but I also have no
idea that's true.
Speaker 3 (01:03:09):
This is a lot of and being a couple is
those moments where he's waiting for something to happen, and
so you don't start talking about something because you're waiting
for something else that's about to happen, Like a fireworks
show is about to begin, you don't start going, Hey,
how about that?
Speaker 1 (01:03:22):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, tell me about when you were talking, Katie,
what do you say?
Speaker 2 (01:03:26):
I mean? I think I don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:03:29):
You could be right. It could have just been editing,
and it could have just been like manufactured.
Speaker 1 (01:03:33):
I think he was just nervous. I felt the.
Speaker 4 (01:03:38):
Games he does like kind of come out of a
shell morn he opens up a bit more.
Speaker 2 (01:03:43):
So, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:03:44):
That's what I love about Big Brother. It just concluded.
The other night is watching the cams because you just
get access to how the people really. You get to
watch the edit.
Speaker 2 (01:03:56):
And I wish there.
Speaker 1 (01:03:58):
I haven't started watching Is Blind yet, but I fucking
love Love is Blind as well. I know there's no cam,
but I love it.
Speaker 3 (01:04:05):
Well. It feels like you get a little bit more
of their you know, personalities, and you know you develop like,
oh I don't like that person.
Speaker 2 (01:04:12):
Do you watch Love is Blind recently? Do you watch it?
Have you watched Love Is Blind UK? The British one?
Speaker 3 (01:04:19):
I can't. I can't all these shows that have versions
in other countries, I can't even begin to.
Speaker 2 (01:04:24):
Yeah, the British one was the time. I respect that. Okay,
I respect that.
Speaker 1 (01:04:29):
The show that I just did in Charleston, which we
have not named yet, everyone was watching Love is Blind UK,
and I gotta tell you it delivered. But I heard
the new the new season of the US one is
good apparently.
Speaker 3 (01:04:41):
I guess. So I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:04:43):
Are you watching it?
Speaker 3 (01:04:44):
Yeah, but I don't. It's not my favorite, especially when
Nick Lache walks in because he doesn't ever even see
like he knows what's going on.
Speaker 2 (01:04:50):
I like, well, we're the Laches, Yeah, we're we're here.
Speaker 7 (01:04:55):
Now.
Speaker 2 (01:04:57):
I forget that they host I know.
Speaker 3 (01:04:59):
Yeah, that's the thing about their hosting is they're like
on it even less than you know. They don't even
get to come in and say this is a final.
Speaker 1 (01:05:05):
Rose, you're right, they're barely in there. Okay, so then
they go so then he has no game. It's there's
and so there's like there's pressure silence. So then there's
no conversation. The captain delivers a card from Jesse. Is
this scavenger hunt?
Speaker 3 (01:05:22):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:05:23):
I love it?
Speaker 1 (01:05:25):
Okay, Never have I ever he has five children? Never
have I ever fed or changed the baby in the middle.
Speaker 5 (01:05:32):
Yeah, that's crazy.
Speaker 2 (01:05:33):
That was insane. That was not great for a lady
to hear four kids. The man needs to do his park.
Speaker 1 (01:05:41):
Yeah, dude, that's like, that's a red flag right there, honey.
Speaker 3 (01:05:45):
Another one is that the first time they cut to him,
he's got two fingers down already. He's already lost on
two things.
Speaker 2 (01:05:53):
The wow, wow, yet she that was a red flag?
Speaker 4 (01:06:00):
That was yeah, And I was like, was it because
like maybe he was working nights in the military.
Speaker 3 (01:06:06):
I don't know that, but who knows what else happened
in that game if that was something?
Speaker 1 (01:06:09):
Yeah, that's a great Did he really have two down?
Speaker 3 (01:06:18):
It was already like two fingers down standing there and
we didn't know what either of those got eliminated for.
Speaker 2 (01:06:26):
Wow, So then there was but the whole.
Speaker 3 (01:06:28):
Game the whole thing they were playing and doing, like
all of it was like very cut up and montage,
Like it was really just like a formality, like just
to just show that he could loosen up when he's
given this silly stuff to Yes, yes, but that's true
all the time on these shows, like didn't prove anything
as far as their compatibility.
Speaker 1 (01:06:47):
Going no, well then so then they're like, okay, saying
I love you first or second. Both of them were
like I prefer second. I'm like, dude, sir, you gotta
go first. The guy goes first, you gotta go first.
Speaker 2 (01:07:00):
Yeah, you gotta go again.
Speaker 4 (01:07:01):
This is why I feel like he's really shy. And
he even said he goes. It takes me a while
to like open up.
Speaker 1 (01:07:06):
Joan needs more of an alpha. Joan needs more of
an alpha than she needs a.
Speaker 2 (01:07:10):
Chop Chuck's guy fight or a guy.
Speaker 1 (01:07:13):
She needs a guy that's like I did the analysis,
I think it's chalk.
Speaker 3 (01:07:18):
I mean, Joan was there seeing Mark being presented as
it's Kelsey's dad and the whole crowd cheering and he's yeah,
and it was just like it was just pumped up
too much to live up to. You know, he's just
a chill guy who gets along with his old friends.
Speaker 2 (01:07:39):
And we're back. I just ate ant far away from
the mic, and.
Speaker 3 (01:07:43):
All people lose their minds if you eat on it.
Speaker 2 (01:07:45):
They don't like them.
Speaker 1 (01:07:46):
They don't like the nuts. They can handle the cheese,
they can handle the string.
Speaker 3 (01:07:51):
Ye doesn't bother they can I have the softest of
the nuts.
Speaker 2 (01:07:56):
I have the kashoes, but they don't love and they
don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:07:59):
Yeah, whenever I break down and eat your nuts, I always, uh,
you know, pull back from the microphone when I'm chewing them.
And I still worry that that you can hear.
Speaker 2 (01:08:08):
It, Yeah, Katie, but we didn't hear you chewing. You
don't like it, sore.
Speaker 3 (01:08:16):
I just love it, though. Some people really just cannot
I know.
Speaker 2 (01:08:20):
But they get mad. They get mad about stuff. But
that's all right.
Speaker 3 (01:08:24):
It's an actual condition now that they're they've labeled it.
It's called something when you get I have a friend
that if someone's chewing popcorn in a movie theater, so like,
all right, first of all, that is going to happen
of the time, even at premieres. Now they give everybody
free popcorn.
Speaker 2 (01:08:40):
It's I love popcorn.
Speaker 3 (01:08:41):
Yeah, but you know, the people who don't like hearing
other people eat it. I just got to go out
of their mind.
Speaker 2 (01:08:47):
You got it.
Speaker 1 (01:08:47):
You gotta be able to at a certain point, you're
gonna be able to play with the other kids in
the playground.
Speaker 3 (01:08:51):
Can I tell you something about yes, sir, the mind? Yes,
please do home. I have a toilet that won't stop running. Yep,
and it sounds exactly like this outa this fountain.
Speaker 2 (01:09:02):
Do you like it?
Speaker 3 (01:09:02):
No, it's making the whole time. I can't stop thinking
about I gotta go flush the toilet again, so we'll
stop making that.
Speaker 1 (01:09:08):
Guys, Okay, I'm just is your cashoe and your popcorn chap?
Speaker 5 (01:09:14):
Does the Mountain come in on the audio?
Speaker 2 (01:09:16):
Good question loud? Yes?
Speaker 5 (01:09:19):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (01:09:20):
Do people find it soothing?
Speaker 1 (01:09:21):
Its soothing is also it's also it's got my very
soothing voice, my low dull sit you're doing.
Speaker 5 (01:09:28):
This podcast whilst taking a piss, I holding.
Speaker 2 (01:09:33):
My hand over the fair.
Speaker 5 (01:09:41):
Well.
Speaker 2 (01:09:41):
There was just a really fun story that we came
told dog that we can't tell you. Did you like it?
Speaker 3 (01:09:47):
Does? I liked you very much?
Speaker 2 (01:09:49):
I bet it was even more than you could have
even thought of where it was going.
Speaker 3 (01:09:53):
Yeah, And also, though I get why you're not going
to let people hear it.
Speaker 1 (01:09:57):
But it was worth hearing it telling you, Okay, I
think Chocolate Cat liked it, so I don't.
Speaker 3 (01:10:03):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (01:10:04):
So he's so he hates me. So I've not. I've Yeah,
he hates me. Okay.
Speaker 1 (01:10:09):
Meanwhile, so Mark is so he preferred she wants to
be in a relationship. She she feels like she's gonna
flourish in the next five years. He has the self
confidence to also flourish. They both lost their spouses and
now he feels safe, safe enough to talk about it.
Joan has no one to talk to. He has all
the guys. He's like, guess what I'm gonna tell you things?
(01:10:32):
And this is where he goes. She had diagnosed with
stage four breast cancer. She had hair down to her calves,
she had her bun on her head. But we got
to enjoy life, but we ran out of time. He
told her about the hummingbird and shit, yeah, and then
and then I guess they were at the Mexico Ruins
and they saw the hummingbird. Their mom's here, Denise is
(01:10:57):
a hummingbird. And then he saw her again. Is this
where I'm to be? This is where I'm supposed to be.
I know they're here. He starts crying.
Speaker 2 (01:11:05):
She didn't feel moved by it. She didn't reply. She
didn't say yeah I saw a hawk.
Speaker 1 (01:11:10):
She that was weird that she wasn't like, oh, yeah,
John's a hawk. She was like, I hope she said,
I want to see signs. It's like, but you know,
we talked about the size check out of Jonathan's horse
date because of the hawk.
Speaker 2 (01:11:22):
Yeah, what's her ex name? John? No, she was on
the date with Jonathan and what's John? She saw Jonathan.
She was having a nice time.
Speaker 1 (01:11:29):
And then John showed up in hawk form, and then
she was saying to Mark, I wish he would show me.
Speaker 4 (01:11:35):
Just thought, do you think that's why she couldn't be
with Jonathan?
Speaker 2 (01:11:37):
That is very strange because of the hawk.
Speaker 4 (01:11:40):
No, and Jonathan, Like, I just thought of that. It's
like the same name, right.
Speaker 5 (01:11:45):
I don't know if I could reasons. If you guys
pass before me, what animal do you want to materialize?
Speaker 2 (01:11:53):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (01:11:55):
Because I want to look out for it.
Speaker 1 (01:11:56):
Okay, well, my mom is a hummingbird. I feel like
I'm also a hummingbird. Okay, yeah, I know my energy.
Steve Heidner used to call me the hummingbird because I'd
be like working, I'm like and I get really tired
and my space out. So he said that my energy
is very hummingbird.
Speaker 5 (01:12:12):
Like squirrel too.
Speaker 2 (01:12:13):
Okay, I can go squirrel. I can see you're cute
and fast. Yeah, cute fast, And I liked it, and
I like it. I like that I'm cute fast.
Speaker 1 (01:12:21):
And I'm not hungry. That's on my that's on my
riot page. I love nuts, cute and fast, and I'm
down for nuts.
Speaker 2 (01:12:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:12:30):
I think I could come for a squirrel, a hummingbird
or squirrel, and I'll definitely get your attention.
Speaker 5 (01:12:35):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I would. I think you're gonn outlive me.
But I if not, I wouldn't look out for it.
Speaker 2 (01:12:41):
Oh yeah, no, No.
Speaker 1 (01:12:42):
When I get run over by the trolley at the Groves,
then I want, I want, and then I want my
memoriam this. I recently jet skied for the first time
and there's a video of me doing it. I want
that in my I meamorium at the Oscars. The Oscars. Okay, Doug,
what are you gonna be?
Speaker 6 (01:13:00):
Dog?
Speaker 2 (01:13:00):
A jog? Like a what kind of a dog? I don't care, Katie,
don't know what I would be? What would I be? Never?
Speaker 1 (01:13:07):
Probably you feel like a bird, like a wise bird,
not a humming.
Speaker 4 (01:13:10):
Bird, like a raven, like a raven. But ravens live gifts,
they lave gifts. No, I have a raven couple that
has lived very close to us.
Speaker 2 (01:13:19):
They have babies.
Speaker 4 (01:13:20):
Every year they bring their babies to my backyard.
Speaker 2 (01:13:22):
They bring them.
Speaker 4 (01:13:23):
They've never brought me a fucking gift. What I'm so offended.
Speaker 2 (01:13:26):
I needed them to bring you again years present.
Speaker 5 (01:13:30):
Crow TikTok, Yeah, no, wait a minute.
Speaker 2 (01:13:36):
But ravens are crows and ravens different. Yeah, craz But
can they be a raven give a gift like a crow?
Speaker 4 (01:13:45):
I think so.
Speaker 2 (01:13:46):
But they've never let me a gift, and I like
I want to give. I'm so offended. Are you registered?
You have a registered?
Speaker 4 (01:13:51):
They literally come in the backyard with me there like
they're not afraid of me. They hear me coming out
in the backyard, and they hear them start calling to
each other. They bring their babies around them.
Speaker 2 (01:14:00):
No, I want this.
Speaker 3 (01:14:01):
They'll talk to you at all.
Speaker 4 (01:14:02):
I try to talk to.
Speaker 3 (01:14:03):
Them, they don't say anything because.
Speaker 4 (01:14:06):
I can make the noise that they make.
Speaker 5 (01:14:07):
Do you know they just stare at me. Do you
know that they're actually rainbow colored? Have you seen that?
So we can't see the certain frequency or whatever, And
but actually rainbows and ravens when like other birds see them,
they're rainbow color. You can you can see it. Sometimes
you can see it. You how sometimes you when you
look at oil.
Speaker 2 (01:14:27):
Yes, yeah, that's wow.
Speaker 4 (01:14:31):
I like that.
Speaker 2 (01:14:32):
Did have you seen the birds? But it up.
Speaker 1 (01:14:35):
There's this Silverlake reservoir has these giant like pterodactyl type
birds that live high in a tree above this one house,
and I thought, wait, which birds they look like they're from?
Like dinosaurs?
Speaker 2 (01:14:46):
The herons.
Speaker 4 (01:14:47):
They're big because if you walk along the La River
you see the blue herons.
Speaker 1 (01:14:51):
And they are maybe they're iron They're huge, they're too big.
I wouldn't want them over my house.
Speaker 4 (01:14:56):
Uh yeah, I'm probably herons because we're it's close to
the river.
Speaker 1 (01:15:00):
Okay, So then they go they go on the date.
So then she's like, hmm. He's like, this is the
best day I've had in years. We bonded over the death,
and she's like, oh, something's missing, yeah, because you're just
bonding over death. Meanwhile, guy is like, well, Mark's definitely
going to hometowns. I kind of like, guy, we thought
we weren't gonna like him, but I've kind of grown
(01:15:20):
on me. I I he's yeah, I think he's not
a bad number two. So so Joan shows up in
her cute genes. She's like, where's Mark?
Speaker 2 (01:15:30):
Hey? Mark? Can I still here for a sec?
Speaker 5 (01:15:31):
Wow?
Speaker 1 (01:15:31):
I had a great date, but I felt like our
relationship I am. You know it grew, but I've been
thinking about how healing this journey has been. And you know,
you've made me feel so comforted and made me feel
so good. But I don't know something's missing, and something
doesn't feel right, and I feel like I don't see
(01:15:52):
me in your conversation. Your heart feels like it's not
with us. I feel like you're mending. Maybe I came
into the too early for you. The Bachelors fully gave
her a script the producers.
Speaker 5 (01:16:03):
I think, so yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:16:04):
I was so confused by this conversation.
Speaker 1 (01:16:06):
I felt like she was like, you're not ready, but
you'll be ready next s break well.
Speaker 5 (01:16:10):
I think that's what she wanted to say, But you
can't say that because then it doesn't give him the yeah,
the opportunity to be the Bachelor. So I think she
was doing like linguistical gymnastics.
Speaker 2 (01:16:22):
Yeah, but I think she wasn't wrong.
Speaker 1 (01:16:24):
I was like, I don't didn't see him that into
a heart. He felt like, I'm having fun. I'm having
fun with the guys. I'm coming out of it.
Speaker 4 (01:16:34):
He did seem to connect more with the guy.
Speaker 2 (01:16:35):
Do I need another break? Oh my goodness.
Speaker 1 (01:16:37):
Okay, all right, look, we're gonna come right back and
we're gonna do the Rose ceremony.
Speaker 3 (01:16:41):
I'm gonna have some nuts, have some nuts.
Speaker 2 (01:16:48):
Who I don't know about you, but things a getting
so hot in here. I think I got a take.
Speaker 1 (01:16:53):
I'll pay your break, and we're back. So she you
gotta do want some nuts. So then they come back
and she cut, She cut Mark, and then we see
him with the best edit on his knees zipping up
the suitcase.
Speaker 2 (01:17:14):
That suit that broke my heart for Kelsey. I don't
want to see my dad on his knees packing a suitcase.
Speaker 5 (01:17:21):
And it was also weird because it wasn't a walkout. No,
she gave him the opportunity to say good bye to
the guys, which I think was nice because he obviously.
Speaker 2 (01:17:30):
Know they wanted pity.
Speaker 1 (01:17:32):
We They wanted us to be like, look at this
poor widow man. He's grown so much, he's had this journey.
He's open to love. He knows there's all this love
in the world. There's just got to get it for himself.
He's packing, he's he's shoving, he's doing little folding cubes
in his suitcase. I'm just guessing he felt like a folding.
Speaker 3 (01:17:52):
Cube for each other. He's only there because he's, you know,
the father of a woman that was on another thing.
Speaker 1 (01:18:01):
She goes, I love you Mark, and then and she's like,
I really did the journeys for you is to find you.
And and he's like, my eyes, I've never been more open.
She's changed me. I tend to hide myself away, but
you know, we had a great connection.
Speaker 2 (01:18:21):
He's tearing up.
Speaker 1 (01:18:22):
He's like, I'm leaving now, and he's like, there'll always
be a piece of my heart that will belong to Joan.
Speaker 2 (01:18:28):
Well, don't say that, because you know you're gonna be
the bachelor.
Speaker 5 (01:18:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:18:31):
Meanwhile, here we are and all the guys are sad
to see him go. They're like, I love you, brother,
I love you brother. Jonathan was very choked up. Meanwhile,
there's Jonathan's sobbing. I love you, Pascal, He's sobbing. He's sad.
They're so sad. He was my best friend, says Pascal.
Speaker 2 (01:18:51):
Wow, they're in shock.
Speaker 1 (01:18:54):
They can't believe it. It's been an incredible journey.
Speaker 2 (01:18:57):
You know.
Speaker 1 (01:18:57):
I wasn't what Joan was looking for, but I he
got a long kiss good night. But I hope she
finds a future with one of these guys. I still
there's still love in the world that I will find
mine one day.
Speaker 5 (01:19:10):
Okay, it seemed like it was scripted, like this was
this was your audition, This is your you're what was
it when you h your audition scene? You know, like,
I feel like this is what that was.
Speaker 1 (01:19:23):
He did a great job. This was his callback. So
then here we are. First up, first Rose Pascal gets
number one.
Speaker 2 (01:19:33):
Were you guys surprised by that?
Speaker 1 (01:19:35):
I was too, because I felt like he could have been,
like is he gonna?
Speaker 2 (01:19:39):
He could have been number four?
Speaker 4 (01:19:40):
Yeah, I was like, I was like, I literally always
say it, and I was like chalk, and then it was.
Speaker 2 (01:19:45):
It was past Gal. That was a real I could
have been a Jordan.
Speaker 1 (01:19:48):
Give it a guy if you don't want to do
Chalk first, Pascal was a wild card.
Speaker 2 (01:19:52):
Well, I was shocked at Jordan and Guy. Well, so
then we get that.
Speaker 3 (01:19:56):
It was the most shocking road ceremony would not predict
who was going to go.
Speaker 1 (01:20:01):
Pascal, then Chalk, then Guy, then Jordan. I'm just gonna
say it.
Speaker 2 (01:20:08):
She has four white guys, like she does.
Speaker 1 (01:20:12):
I mean, come on, okay. Meanwhile, and then she let
Keith just go, and then she was like, hey, can
I She didn't. She didn't walk Keith out. She walked
out Jonathan.
Speaker 4 (01:20:28):
I thought that was interesting to this is why I saying, like,
maybe she was like I like Jonathan, but I was
married to John for years.
Speaker 2 (01:20:34):
Okay, that's weird.
Speaker 1 (01:20:36):
As fuck, right, And she's like, you know, he's like
the healing that you've done for me. You know you've
put such an imprint on my heart, You've made me
feel seen. She's like, you are seen. Don't forget it.
You are worthy. And then she walked him out.
Speaker 2 (01:20:54):
I know. It was sad, it was it was, it
was what it was.
Speaker 1 (01:20:58):
And then but I kind of new because we saw
Pascal driving fast, we knew we saw Jordan on the
stupid Chicago, so I knew they got it, so I
thought maybe Jonathan, maybe guy got cut, but then Jonathan
got cut.
Speaker 2 (01:21:13):
Keith didn't make it. Can't believe she's.
Speaker 1 (01:21:15):
Going to read all right, So here's just going to reno. Here, guys,
we're doing before joke. We really Steve Hyder was a
rena we really wanted well. So we're recording on Wednesday
because our king is not available tomorrow, so we're not
doing our post of the week today.
Speaker 2 (01:21:30):
But you can get your own sleep It's.
Speaker 1 (01:21:31):
Okay, you get you get your own sleep crown at
sleepgrown dot com, back slash, w yt R, code, pickleball.
Speaker 2 (01:21:39):
Do you have a sleep crown?
Speaker 5 (01:21:40):
I do. I'm annoyed that my podcast doesn't have this
sponsor because I love those things I love. Do you
put it on top of your head? Though?
Speaker 2 (01:21:48):
I kind of use it as I snuggle it.
Speaker 5 (01:21:52):
They it was supposed to be supposed to go over.
Speaker 2 (01:21:54):
To my number one on the call sheet is my
travel sleep crown?
Speaker 7 (01:21:59):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:22:00):
I have a brand new one. It has a pink cover.
Speaker 5 (01:22:03):
And it's got like a little travel case too.
Speaker 2 (01:22:05):
I mean it gets dead.
Speaker 5 (01:22:07):
You've lost it, hair beaners. You can put it on
your phone.
Speaker 2 (01:22:10):
Oh I wish there. How does nobody else have this
product and the best.
Speaker 5 (01:22:18):
They're not paying me, but I can be.
Speaker 1 (01:22:19):
I am not paid. I'm not paid either. They're just
she just loves the podcast. She knows that I have
sleep problems. Oh nice, these are an unpaid sponsor. And
she sends she does the tweet of the week, and
she sends the winner, and we just talked about it.
Speaker 2 (01:22:31):
This is unpicked.
Speaker 3 (01:22:32):
This is a woman who's an amazing amount.
Speaker 2 (01:22:35):
Concerned about my sleeping. How is your sleeping not great?
How's yours good?
Speaker 5 (01:22:41):
But I take you uns every night, and I feel
like that's.
Speaker 2 (01:22:44):
Not Oh that's fun. I've never tried us.
Speaker 5 (01:22:47):
Try it out.
Speaker 2 (01:22:47):
You just go over the like I know.
Speaker 5 (01:22:50):
No, no, I took a don't take one. I took
and so I used to smoke, Doug, you'll appreciate this.
I used to smoke weed almost every single day in
high school and college, and then something happened. I think
I just smoked too much. Same way, and then I
took it. I can't sleep very well, so I took
a five milligram.
Speaker 2 (01:23:08):
That's too much.
Speaker 5 (01:23:08):
I took half of it. Yeah, I fell asleep at
one o'clock. I woke up. I had a full on
panic to Middle Earth. I thought that I was going
to slip into different.
Speaker 1 (01:23:19):
Yeah, mention, midsmoke, I even walk around a stronger. I
go right to no, I go right to the middle
of when we were in high school. I can't even
in high even in high school. I went to Middle Earth.
Speaker 4 (01:23:33):
But I take one that's like it's like LT and
nine magnesium and CBD, and it's just like.
Speaker 2 (01:23:38):
Doug, do you have you ever saw have you ever?
Have you ever spoke pot dog? Doug.
Speaker 3 (01:23:44):
I eat a bunch before I came over here.
Speaker 2 (01:23:46):
I know I can't do.
Speaker 4 (01:23:48):
It, like two point five, I'm like, I'm tripping balls.
Speaker 2 (01:23:51):
I'm like, what the fun?
Speaker 1 (01:23:52):
I also, I for there was a moment of time
during the Panda that I was like I got those
little peach ones, you know, I and the life one
one that was like I can't, I cannot do it.
Speaker 4 (01:24:02):
I was like, maybe, okay, I just have chuck.
Speaker 2 (01:24:05):
A little tiny bit of a chocolate mushroom.
Speaker 4 (01:24:07):
I can't do that either.
Speaker 2 (01:24:08):
I'm a wimp. They're fun. I have a tiny little nibble.
Speaker 1 (01:24:12):
I thought that that that that the lightest amount nobody
wants to see me, like rolling all right?
Speaker 2 (01:24:16):
Anyway, you know what I mean. Okay, So then, so
here we are. So I'm gonna ask you this.
Speaker 1 (01:24:23):
I don't forget next week We're gonna be back on
the regular schedules for the Posting, et cetera, et cetera,
or the Elizabeth of Eastampton.
Speaker 3 (01:24:30):
Okay, I'm gonna have.
Speaker 2 (01:24:32):
Keith.
Speaker 3 (01:24:34):
Both have young children, key, I mean they have their
they have children. Yeah, well I think that.
Speaker 2 (01:24:44):
I think that Jonathan's are young and the other one
Jonathan know he should that was like an old photo.
Speaker 1 (01:24:50):
I think his are younger. I could be wrong there
now Yeah, yeah, I think they might.
Speaker 3 (01:24:57):
Be teens pretty young.
Speaker 2 (01:24:59):
But anyway, that's a good point.
Speaker 1 (01:25:01):
Maybe she's maybe she's done. Maybe great called her John
our Jordan's kids.
Speaker 4 (01:25:07):
He talked about how they're in college.
Speaker 2 (01:25:09):
Okay, that's why they're out of the house. They're out
of the house college.
Speaker 1 (01:25:12):
Okay, So let me ask you that in order for
three two one, we all think the next bachelor is
Mark right after that.
Speaker 7 (01:25:21):
Edit.
Speaker 1 (01:25:22):
Yeah, okay, Katie, I'm gonna have you go first to
the gentleman. Think O four three two one number four.
So we have we have passed. We have passed. Now
we have who's going after hometowns, and we have passed
Guy and Jordan's.
Speaker 4 (01:25:34):
I think Pascal is going home. I think she'll be
like enamored by him, but she'll be.
Speaker 2 (01:25:37):
Like, oh, this is he's he's he's a lot.
Speaker 1 (01:25:42):
Yeah, he's gonna drive too fast, Okay, And then number
three is gonna be Jordan.
Speaker 4 (01:25:46):
Yeah, I guess Chalk is number one. So like the
other two, Guy, she likes that interchange.
Speaker 1 (01:25:51):
I think she wants a guy with money, and I
think in her brain Guy is a doctor. I know,
Oh that's true, and she's in Maryland.
Speaker 4 (01:25:59):
Jordan's is like I am thinking of geography here.
Speaker 2 (01:26:01):
Okay, So you would say that was the reason. So
you think it goes Pascal.
Speaker 4 (01:26:06):
Then then then let's say Jordan's then Guy, than then Chalk.
I mean, Kansas is not super close.
Speaker 2 (01:26:15):
Who lives in Kansas?
Speaker 3 (01:26:17):
Chalk?
Speaker 4 (01:26:18):
Isn't he Wichita?
Speaker 2 (01:26:19):
Okay?
Speaker 4 (01:26:19):
Isn't that Kansas?
Speaker 2 (01:26:20):
I don't know. I don't know where I lives. Okay, Kansas.
Speaker 4 (01:26:23):
The geography, I mean, I really think that's such a factor.
I brought it up last time. These people have very
rude You're right, but it also depends, like say Chalk
is like, oh, well, my children are in New York
on the east past, then he might be more willing
to move. Yes, if their children are nearby, that's a
very different And guy, it's maybe hard if you're an
emergency room doctor, but maybe not.
Speaker 3 (01:26:42):
Yeah, I don't know, like might want to keep his
whole Yes, So.
Speaker 4 (01:26:47):
Much of it is like who's gonna who could move?
Talks about oh, my family comes, you're.
Speaker 2 (01:26:51):
Right, You got her say you're right together Sunday dinner.
Speaker 5 (01:26:54):
And this was the issue with Jerry Gary.
Speaker 4 (01:26:57):
Gary, and they have their children tell her they have
their cardiologists.
Speaker 3 (01:27:01):
It's like they just have heard you gonna end up
with nobody.
Speaker 2 (01:27:04):
We just under that would help.
Speaker 3 (01:27:07):
That they've been they've been teasing her, saying, am I
going to just go home alone?
Speaker 5 (01:27:11):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (01:27:12):
Maybe she will?
Speaker 2 (01:27:12):
All right, Doug give us four three, two one, four.
Speaker 3 (01:27:17):
Oh man, I think guys gonna go next after she goes.
Speaker 2 (01:27:21):
To Okay, and then three Jordan we know, but it's.
Speaker 3 (01:27:26):
It's it's it's an interesting place.
Speaker 2 (01:27:28):
Three we have Pascal, Jordans and Chalk, so three will be.
Speaker 3 (01:27:32):
Uh Pascal two because it's just gonna be too flashy
and too to Chicago.
Speaker 2 (01:27:40):
He's gonna drive so fast. It's gonna make her.
Speaker 3 (01:27:41):
Scared again leave Chicago.
Speaker 2 (01:27:43):
Yeah, and you will be my face for it. Two.
Speaker 3 (01:27:49):
Uh oh, so then Jordan or I want to I'm
gonna say, I'm gonna stick my neck out. And by
the way, from draft picks, nothing I need happen.
Speaker 2 (01:27:59):
I got nothing wrong. Maybe I got wrong on.
Speaker 3 (01:28:01):
Everything except for they haven't announced atchally yet. But you
know everybody's convinced as Mark.
Speaker 2 (01:28:06):
Okay, number two, So.
Speaker 3 (01:28:07):
I'm gonna go I'm gonna switch it up. I'm gonna
go chalk ends up it too. Okay, Like his intensity
is gonna be off putting, you think, Yeah, I mean
he's really said he loves her already, and then in
interviews he says I'm almost there. It's like, wait a second,
we heard you say to her that you loved here.
Speaker 2 (01:28:24):
And then number one is gonna be a guy?
Speaker 3 (01:28:27):
No, no guy was three? It is Jordan Jordan.
Speaker 2 (01:28:31):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (01:28:32):
He's not exciting, but he's solid.
Speaker 2 (01:28:34):
I think he's cute.
Speaker 3 (01:28:35):
Yeah, I can't think of anything to not like about him.
Speaker 1 (01:28:38):
He's self depreciating and he needs to have a little
more confidence. He's not being a champion. Okay, well four
three two one.
Speaker 5 (01:28:43):
Okay, I have to think about it in terms of
like who does she want to take to a fantasy suite?
Speaker 2 (01:28:47):
Yes, oh, Pascal, So that's why.
Speaker 4 (01:28:51):
The great she knows about.
Speaker 5 (01:28:55):
Yeah, he's got no problem, she's gonna.
Speaker 2 (01:29:00):
You're right, she wants to make out with him more
than she wants to make out with him.
Speaker 5 (01:29:04):
Okay, So I'm just saying that out loud of like
how I'm thinking of it. So I don't know it's
money for him. So I think I'm not really sure
about Guy. I'm not really sure about Jordan, and then
I think Pascal, and then I think Chalk. Okay, so
I think it's who. Also, women do love hooking up
with a foreigner, you know, like you go on your
(01:29:25):
study abroad and you get to hook up with some
French guys. Now that yeah, that doesn't mean that you're
gonna get engaged, but I think that she wants.
Speaker 2 (01:29:33):
That the experience of having a French love.
Speaker 1 (01:29:35):
Yes, okay, So you think it goes Pascal and then
Jordan and then Guy and then Chalk. No, no, no, no,
I'm sorry you think it goes Jordan, Jordan, Pascal, Guy.
Speaker 5 (01:29:46):
Number one is okay? You want to go fourre is
Guy then Jordan, then Pascal than Chop.
Speaker 2 (01:29:54):
You think Pascal is going to be the runner? Und yes,
because of love making.
Speaker 5 (01:29:58):
And then I think the idea is that you try,
you try to get some of these guys uh to
go to Paradise. You get both old and young, and
I think that guy would crush in Paradise.
Speaker 1 (01:30:09):
I want to say, I think they and if they
only do Paradise, the guys would kill in Paradise and
I or or if they do the oldies but goodies,
I would love to do Paradise on a cruise ship.
Speaker 5 (01:30:20):
That would be great.
Speaker 2 (01:30:21):
Can I call him?
Speaker 1 (01:30:22):
I'm going to be your cob bar touch Come on, Okay,
I'm gonna go number four. I think that's a really
solid Do you want to change things now that he's
adding the bone zone into it?
Speaker 2 (01:30:31):
The Pascal boner.
Speaker 4 (01:30:34):
Yeah, maybe I switched Jordan and Pascal.
Speaker 5 (01:30:36):
Okay, I'm gonna change because you're checking yourscause.
Speaker 2 (01:30:39):
We like your but we like your thot.
Speaker 3 (01:30:43):
She does Pascal in the three slow I think you get.
Speaker 2 (01:30:49):
Either do.
Speaker 1 (01:30:51):
I think she's gonna get rid of Jordan's because she
doesn't want to go to bed with Jordan's.
Speaker 2 (01:30:55):
I think she wants to bone it out with. She
was like French lover. I think he's gonna be number three.
Speaker 1 (01:31:01):
I think she's gonna be intrigued by but the Reno,
the Reno, which I actually like Reno, but like, is
she gonna like Reno?
Speaker 2 (01:31:08):
No? But yeah, exactly, which is lovely. I'm gonna say, I.
Speaker 3 (01:31:13):
Mean they're going to be in downtown Reno or they
gonna go out to like the suburbs.
Speaker 2 (01:31:18):
I'm going to say it's gonna go Jordan, Pascal, Guy Chalk.
What a treat. Thank you so much? Are you glad
that you joined?
Speaker 5 (01:31:30):
I love coming over here.
Speaker 2 (01:31:31):
I was excited. We missed you. We didn't get you
last season.
Speaker 5 (01:31:35):
I know, thank god, that's the season messed with me.
I know I can't watch this season because I'm like
hurt from the situation.
Speaker 1 (01:31:44):
I know, we've all had some trauma bonding. Okay, what
would you like to promote wells.
Speaker 5 (01:31:52):
Yeah, listen, my podcast is your favorite thing podcast? You
can listen wherever they give out, we don't give out anything.
But yeah, I guess that's really it. Okay, great and
just yeah, pray for me for the projects that I
want to go.
Speaker 2 (01:32:06):
Yeah, I want it to go. I hope you. I
hope it goes thanks.
Speaker 5 (01:32:10):
Oh the other thing, I'm on Traders.
Speaker 2 (01:32:15):
I love Trader.
Speaker 5 (01:32:16):
Yeah, that doesn't come out until January.
Speaker 2 (01:32:18):
So do you have fun?
Speaker 5 (01:32:19):
So much fun?
Speaker 2 (01:32:19):
We want to talk about that off their Is it.
Speaker 3 (01:32:21):
Hard not talking about the things you're supposed to talk about?
You know that you can't talk.
Speaker 5 (01:32:24):
About Yeah, okay, but if you get me enough beers like,
oh my god, oh my god, tell you that's so exciting.
Speaker 1 (01:32:30):
I'm so excited about Traders. Oh my god, I'm so
glad you did it. That's a huge y'all.
Speaker 2 (01:32:36):
I loved it. I love games. So the competitive said to.
Speaker 5 (01:32:39):
Me, you need it, like you guys, I always feel
like actors should be the ones doing this.
Speaker 2 (01:32:44):
I want to do it because what.
Speaker 3 (01:32:45):
Are the initials of the winner?
