What does it mean to navigate life's betrayals while chasing personal growth? Join us with special guest, rapper Finesse Two Times, as he shares his compelling journey of transformation from incarceration to creating music that resonates with profound life lessons. Finesse opens up about how he harnessed the universe's energy to manifest pivotal moments in his life, favoring its power over traditional religious beliefs. Intrigued by the strategic insights of the classic "Art of War," he discusses how these ancient principles influenced his work and provided moral guidance in tough times, all of which is reflected in his music.

Relationships, with all their loyalty and betrayal, are at the heart of our conversation. We dive into the challenges of balancing forgiveness with self-preservation, exploring the thin line between protecting one's peace and missing out on opportunities by cutting people off too soon. Finesse draws fascinating parallels between personal connections and business decisions, offering insights on the necessity of boundaries and the struggle with mind games. His candid reflections provide a fresh perspective on dealing with new acquaintances versus maintaining familiar ties, highlighting the impact of betrayal and how it shapes our emotional landscape.

Throughout our discussion, personal growth and the lessons learned from relationships stand as recurring themes. We explore the dynamics of dating preferences, the influence of partners' advice that aligns with personal goals, and the societal expectations women face in the music industry. As the episode progresses, Finesse Two Times reflects on the nostalgic memories tied to music, emphasizing self-compassion and understanding that growth comes at its own pace. Tune in to discover how Finesse's experiences have not only shaped his music but continue to offer valuable lessons in self-acceptance and mutual growth.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hard to believe it talk about people left you hanging
or people said you left them hanging. Now now that
you back on your feet and moving and stuff like that,
then you you talk about betrayal, It's like, how are
you handling all these new situations?

Speaker 2 (00:17):
You want me to tell you something crazy? I just
thought about why you was saying that. It's crazy how
it manifest I wrote. I wrote that in prison, mm,
which was like three four years ago, so I manifested
everything into reality, so that.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Wasn't even happening at the time.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
No, mm, you see what I'm saying. So it's it's
kind of s it's kind of spooky like, and that's
why I lean toward the universe more than I do
anything like them religions and stuff, cause I just believe
in the power of the tongue and stuff like that.
Like and in the song I WA, I went through

(00:56):
majority of it, but like the betrayal that I'm going through,
I ain't got nothing compared to the betrayal that I
went that I went through before I wrote this song,
dam And it's like I knew what what what I
was facing, but I didn't know like I was I
was semi prepared, but I wouldn't. I wentn't. I wasn't.

(01:18):
I wasn't mentally all the way mentally prepared for it.
What's going on? It's your boy for next two times?
All the war out right? Now? What's something now that
we need to talk? All right?

Speaker 1 (01:27):
What's going on?

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Guys?

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Now, let's go on here with another episode that we
need to talk. And today it's a very special guest
in the building. We got finessed two times here.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
How are you good by yourself?

Speaker 1 (01:37):
I'm good? See you putting on your MJ glove while
the gloves? What's up with the gloves in the interview?
You're not even outside right now?

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Uh? I just I like them for the fit. They
feel good. Yeah, different. I don't really work gloves like that.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Okay, Yeah, it's anesthetic. I like it. Nice drip. But
you're back on to see a new project on the
way Art of War? Why that name?

Speaker 2 (02:01):
It's a book that I read. I picked up along
my journey or just you know what I'm saying, going
through hardships and having hard times with my life, and
it kind of it not count its shaped me. It
was one of the many books that shaped me to
you know, having morals and principles and being able to
have mental stability and uh being strategic premeditating things and

(02:24):
you know, uh, things that I feel like should be
applied to everyday life, you know what I'm saying. So
I decided to use their book along my journey and
put it in front of y'all and hopefully you know
what I'm saying. It's an old a general role the
Chinese general from like the BC days, like you know,
so he it's not a like a book like everybody

(02:47):
would know unless they into books, right like, but yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
No, that's that's fire. I've actually bought the book. I
never read it Art of War, so n I like
that you said it gave you morals and like a code.
I guess was it really the book that gave you
that or did you have some before? Like, well, I guess.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
It's already in you, Like it's already like things that
you should know. I feel like it sharpens you up
and it brings you to like to a point where
like you kind of like less than a man if
you ain't moving like this or you uh, it's a
it's a better chance that you will lose if you're
not moving like this, and it's kind of things you

(03:31):
grow you grow up hearing. You kind of grow up
already knowing, but when you read it at a later age,
if you get what I'm saying like hard, Yeah, it
kind of hit different when you when you when you uh,
and when you going through things too, Like it's just
like scrolling and you see something that you know, there's

(03:52):
a quote or something that's going on with how you feel,
you know what I'm saying, But this book is full
of it, like especially if you're going through anomb to battle,
like you trying to really overcome you know what I'm saying. Yeah,
the there's there's you.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
Know, saying it like that. That makes a lot of sense. Yeah,
that that's what's up now. Now I gotta read it now,
I really wanna read it. You talked about so much
on this project. I don't even know where to begin.
The one that I really felt was mixed feelings. MM.
I liked it. I think everybody can relate to having
mixed feelings about the situation. But like, just talk to

(04:27):
me about where you were at when you when you
did that record.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
I'm a Gemini, Oh my god, and I believe in
the universe. So and I and I and I believe
you know, because like I'm I, I see I know
everybody probably go through, like you said, mixed feelings a phase.
But it's like I could be up, I could be
I be down, I could be in the middle. H

(04:54):
I can, I can. I can get over some easy.
Sometimes it take a long time to get over it,
you know what I'm saying. Like so, but in the song,
and if you listen to it, it was, you know,
one man and I'm good, one man and I'm man,
I don't have a mixed feeling. One man and I'm
cool but ready to spare. I'm having mixed feeling one
man that I love you. Then I'm like, fuck you,

(05:14):
I'm having mixed feeling. I want to spur you, but
I'm gonna bush it. I have a mixed feeling. So
it's like it's it's like I'm cool, but I ain't.
You know what I'm saying. It's like I'm cool, but
I ain't.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
It's such a hard place to be in. And so,
and that's why I honestly was thinking this to myself.
I don't know it was because I had listened to
the album before I came or because my own life.
But it's like, if I got to play the fifty,
I don't want to play right right right, right right.
I don't like that in the I don't like the mix.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
I believe, I believe all you said fifty songs.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
What you mean, you know, like if I got to
play the fifty, like if I feel in and then
out or hot and cold, I feel like I just
don't need to deal with the situation at all.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
But what if it's not just a person, what if
it's just life, then I need to.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Then I need to.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
So you want of them people They think that you
canna run from reality.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
No, it's not about running. I'll confront situations had on.
But if the problem is like the person I'm dealing with,
then that the person I'm dealing with gotta go. Or
if the problem is the job that I'm at, then
the job gotta go. If the problem is I'm just
about Yeah, if if it's like a fifty, I feel

(06:30):
like that's the universe telling me this ain't for you.
In every and every situation you feel like that, Yes,
now I do have some situations where I still in
them and I have to do that.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
So it's safe to say you give up easy.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
No, no it's not.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
But what if it's not what you think it is?

Speaker 1 (06:53):
What do you mean?

Speaker 2 (06:54):
What if it's not fifty? What if what if it is?
What if you just having a hard time reading a
person or understanding the person? And what if it's a challenge?

Speaker 1 (07:02):
What if I'll see clarity before I make my decisions?

Speaker 2 (07:07):
For sure?

Speaker 1 (07:08):
Yeah, but but even when you go to seek that clarity.
You know, some people like to play psychological games. Some
people really don't have like your best intent. Some people
don't even know. Some people are just breezing through life,
you know, here today going to mark so like I
don't got time for them. If you're playing I don't

(07:29):
got time for that. And if you're playing psychological games,
I also don't got time for that.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
What's a psychological game? Man?

Speaker 1 (07:36):
You know what psychological games is?

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Just what's a psychological game? With man? Play?

Speaker 1 (07:44):
Why are you asking me like you don't know?

Speaker 2 (07:46):
Because I want to know what you psychological games?

Speaker 1 (07:50):
Niggas play psychological games all the time. I'm not even
talking about just in relationships, like it could even be
like it could even be like tough love, like like man,
you could have did better. Da da dada. I don't
got time for shit like that. I need you to
tell and you did good at this and prove of
this and that's it. But don't be like I just
don't like. I don't like mind games. Now, I don't

(08:11):
like my games. Is I can read mind games. So
when you do a mind game, I'm like, damn, you
really doing this?

Speaker 2 (08:15):
Alright?

Speaker 1 (08:15):
Alright, alright cool? And then i'm'a just that's just me,
that's just me. But that's why I like the record,
cause I'm like, damn, I really feel this, but I'm not.
I'm not going for that.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
Wow, it is what it is, though, Oh god, how
can you? How can you not respect though? Like? It
is what it is?

Speaker 1 (08:34):
But the nuances of life?

Speaker 2 (08:35):
Nah, I feel like I feel like it's very few
people like you. I feel like to to to to
feel like that you at half with a person and
don't and like and don't know like or just cut
them off completely or stop fucking with 'em. I feel
like that ain't fair.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
Oh I don't feel like that at all.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
I know.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
I like that I know and maybe and I'll say this.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
I let me ask you this, do you give people chances. Yes,
So if if if a person, if a person made
you feel like it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't a
hundred and and and and but but they was just
going through something or they just having a rough patch
in they life. But but y'all actually cool and y'all
actually rocking out rather be male little female, So you

(09:28):
wouldn't give it a chance and say, well, maybe you
tripping let me let me.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
At this point in my life. No, mm no, I
have I.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
Feel you though like I feel you, but in the
same sentence, I feel like you could you probably lose
some opportunity. I did that. I feel like I cut
people off. I cut people off too early, and you
feel like you lost opportunity because they could have they
was potentially good people. I just read them wrong.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
Alright, I feel like maybe not Okay, it's all circumstantial, right,
It's all circumstantials. So it's just like if it's like, alright,
we could still do something positive together in the same space,
I'll still deal with you, but I'll deal with you
at a distance, like we ain't gonna be all up

(10:16):
in my intermedia. You ain't gonna know what I'm doing
where I'm at. Definitely no face side, don't fucking face
tide like that's crazy. But like you know, like we
can text and we can execute things, but it you
just wouldn't be immediate circle.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
Kay, everybody different. I can't, I can't. I can I'm
not judged you. I'm just I can't tell. I just ta.
I I just say, yeah, yeah, I I just say
I feel like it ain't fruh.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
You gotta protect your peace.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
Most different. Like I said, I understand, but I and
I'm getting to that point right there.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
I feel like you shoulda been at the point I'm
listening to.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
Nah, it ain't it ain't it ain't it ain't. It
ain't thing easy for me, Like when I'm when you
dealing with like uh, like when I see things going
with the music industry in business, uh, I see CEOs
still hang on to people who make mistakes, who fuck up,
who maybe I ain't having good music at the time,

(11:09):
but they still signed to the label. Ship like they
is not always at a hundred, Like relationships is not
always at a hundred. Friendships is not always at a hundred.
And I feel like if you cut a person off
or you stop fucking with them at a time where
that cause you ain't always at a hundred.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
See I said, I don't want you.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
Don't want nobody to cut you off because you at
a No, you're.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
Right, You're right. I think with business, as long as
the good outweighs the bad, then it's fine. But if
the bad always the good, then your liability and you
gotta go.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
No. But that's what I'm saying, learning business what you
taught me to it now, like when it taught me that,
I really like, I'm quick to cut you off, But
at the same time, it's still like damn, like you
still got to go find somebody else. So why would
I not deal with Exactly? Why would I? It's only
so much a that can deal with, especially if it's

(12:05):
certain ship like the CEO of let's say Walmart, like
he can't fire everybody because the register coming up short, yea,
and he won't have nobody like you know what I'm saying.
So that's just my point. But I get it though
in Yo, like you said, it's circumstantial.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
It's definitely circumstantial. It depends. But what you was talking
about in down bad losing your bottom bitch like that
talk to me about that. Does that correlate to you
and and like your mixed feelings?

Speaker 2 (12:36):
Uh no, No, I think there was just straight up
a decision that was made and uh and now we
all have we all make decisions that we gotta learn from.
And I think that it was just a decision that
was made and one gotta learn from it and it
just is what it is. Both I learned from it too.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
Though, don't you feel like though Mster, I'm forgiving it's
it's harder to deal.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
With new people, new people that wasn't there, But when
you dealing with old people, it's a alright me just
high like my guys, my people around me. It's okay
to make mistakes. It's okay for shit to happen, like
because I don't wanna deal with new niggas either, I
don't wanna deal with new women if I don't got
to it, I want. But when betrayal this lordie, you

(13:30):
put my life on the line, my freedom on the line,
certain shit like that, or you attempting to assassinate my
character like and I can see if if like if
we family, we all cool, we together every day, and
you talking to him about it, you talking to another
family member about me. I'm fine with it because we
all should be able to talk about each other's issues.

(13:52):
Cause ain't nobody perfect, right, But when you gonna go
outside and talk about or you gonna go talk to
somebody that own you don't really know, and then you
saying things and then it can leak after circle after
family like we hold lord to it. We don't know
her or him yea, and you don't know her him,

(14:14):
You just then this betrayal, this this lord to because
we don't know that person. You don't. We know each other,
we love we lord to each other. I'm okay with
Pop talking to him about me, like, Bro, you feel
like bruh Ooo, I think we should talk with bruh
back there like some shit like that. But hey, you know,
uh yeah, I'll be over there and they treat me

(14:36):
wrong and they woo nah like that's how shit, you
know what? I'm so at their point, yeah, I got.
I can't. I can't fuck with you like brother brother,
I was in love with you rather you my family
rather whatever, like at that point because I can't sleep
around you now, I can't be around you, don't feel safe,
I can't trust you. I got to watch you like,
I don't want to do with it. I don't want

(14:57):
to deal with it.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
Yeah, no, that's a safety.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
But it's fucked up because damn, I gotta cut somebody
that I'm used to off like that I that I
grew love for that I was lawyer. If it's the energy, like, but.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
Do you like prep these people like do they know?
Do they know?

Speaker 2 (15:16):
I guess that goes back to what you said earlier
when you when you ak when we were talking about
people being perfect. I I I used to have bad
communication skills, Like I'm the type of person I can
see you doing some bullshit and I won't tell you,
like and then I get mad because you doing the bullshit.

(15:37):
And and but in my own way, I'm right because
I feel like we grown and you know better. But
I have rude to learn that some people they don't like.
Some people really just don't know no better like and
and it's been situations with me myself. That's why I

(15:59):
give people chances. Yeah, because I done then shit and
didn't want for be like nah they right, third ain't
straight like all the other shit mediocre, but don't do
that right through at all. And I'm like damn it
war Lane, right, really all, I ain't gonna do this
shit no more. You know what I'm saying, Like, I
don't want 'e cost our relationship or our friendship, our
energy because of some lion shit. And I know it's Lane, Like, yeah,

(16:20):
you know what I'm saying, Like it'd be different. I'm
trying to argue with you buy some shit that I know, Lane, Yeah,
you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (16:27):
So no, that makes sense?

Speaker 2 (16:28):
You know?

Speaker 1 (16:30):
Nah, life yeah, life, It's it's really something.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
But yeah, damn bad though everybody. I think everybody can
relate to their trick. I think everybody then then lost
somebody before you know what I'm saying, somebody that they
believe in. And and you know that's why I went
with the trick. I feel like, sh you you chose
down bad and mixed feelings for a reason like or
or are you done? You got some more?

Speaker 1 (16:55):
I got some more?

Speaker 2 (16:56):
Come on, cause I wanna hear what else? Cause I
don't wanna know who you were you going with?

Speaker 1 (17:00):
Well, honestly, okay, so I always say this, I don't
I don't like they didn't men dramatically older than me, right,
but I really my favorite record so far is pretty ricky,
and I'm like, damn, why he gotta say this, why
you gotta say this?

Speaker 2 (17:16):
But she don't want yeah, yeah, yeah, So you don't
like me and there dramatically older than you. Why I
don't know.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
I think. I think honestly, I just have a really
good relationship with my dad. I don't want I want
you to remind me of my dad in the way
that you love me. But I don't want you to
remind me of my dad. Where like you put me
on game.

Speaker 2 (17:38):
I went like I knew it though before you even said,
I said, she can't. She don't. She can't take being
being chance tied, like you can't take being like like
you said, put on game? Like why, well, let me
know young girls don't feel like a mother fucking tell
them something.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
Well, let me not say put on games. You can
put me on game. But like I don't. But listen
at Lisa, right, No, no, I listen, I listen.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
If she'd have been through something, I'd have been through something.
What would make you listen?

Speaker 1 (18:11):
I feel like I can learn from people. I feel
like I can learn from you. You know something that
I can learn from everybody. But at the same time,
I feel like, especially when like dealing with men, like
if y'all like in a situation and he putting you
on game, it's almost like he expecting you to actually
he's expecting you to actually apply it, and then if
you don't do it, it's almost like a I feel like,

(18:35):
I feel like this nigga think he Joe Billups, that's
my dad. And if you ain't Joe Billups, nigga, I
don't gotta listen to you. I can take it with
a great assault, like I hear you.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
You know, I do what I want, something that's beneficial
to you, your life, your business, your health, whatever, and
he forcing it on you. There's somebody that can now
when you're dealing with a nigga is there's no same
and none that don't there's nothing you don't want that because.

Speaker 1 (19:03):
Even you saying something like if I ain't asked you
to say something, why are you volunteering?

Speaker 2 (19:12):
Yeah, you don't need a OG, you don't. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (19:19):
I just I don't know. That's not I don't know. Look,
I've only I only wanted to date with an older
guy like that was, and I I just didn't love it.
I felt like the nigga was trying to be my dad.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
You let me ask you this. What if you were
putting you on some real game about money.

Speaker 1 (19:37):
Well, I'm listening exactly you all.

Speaker 2 (19:41):
You ain't got nothing to say, you ain't mad. But
if you put you on game about something you doing,
you fucking up. It's get out of my face.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
Not even sucking up. It's just like your suggestion. Because
a lot of times, especially in music, which is maldominated,
a lot of times you are like somebody's muse like
it's like, oh, I feel like you would be great
at this, instead of like, Yo, what is it that
you're actually into? What is it that you wanna do?
And let me just help you do what you wanna do.
That's why, like when Nigga's like, Yo, you should be

(20:10):
doing th th th th, It's like, Nigga, that's your
version of what you think I should be doing when
I already have a plan for myself right.

Speaker 2 (20:17):
But I if I if he ain't taken away from it,
then but if he taking away something from it that
that may be beneficial to you. Why I feel a way, yo,
I feel like.

Speaker 1 (20:26):
This is getting way too personal, Like wanta be about
your album. Like I'm just saying, I I just I
personally don't like it, but I do like the record.
I l I really like pretty Ricky.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
Alright, I do. I'm cool with that. I say the support.
But like you said it and y, you you the
one turned the light onto my head. You open up
the door for that for what to be it to say? Uh,
I really don't they older guys. You just coulda introduced
the song. You made me feel like, you know, I'm

(20:59):
a older guy. That's what o G stand for? Older guy?

Speaker 1 (21:03):
Oh god, I mean I said, I said, I said
significantly older. Okay, significantly older, but because it be yeah anyway, anyway,
right right right, right, right right right now. But what's
the game that you can putting girls on.

Speaker 2 (21:21):
It's not a specific game. I just I just give
my experience, cause.

Speaker 1 (21:27):
Really, when when you when I was listening to it,
I'm like, oh this is the psychological shit.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
Ah it was coming to but I'm missing go ahead.

Speaker 1 (21:34):
Look that's just my s I don't know. That's why
I'm asking. I I don't know, but that's my take
on it.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
What you need to be put on?

Speaker 1 (21:44):
I'm just I wanna know what you say that you
say what you do? You say, you take 'em out,
you pipe them, and you put 'em on games. So
I'm like, well, what's the game?

Speaker 2 (21:52):
See see see see you had to spine out. Oh,
it's not all because it's not because it's a situation
where I don't I can't. Just it's so much game like,
it's so much experienced, so much shit I hadn't been
through that you probably ain't been through. It probably things
you'vene been through that I ain't been through. So we

(22:12):
can put each other on game and then the sleep.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
Circumstantial everything every time. Okay, oh oh okay, well we
kind of already talked about this, but hard to believe it.
Talk about people left you hanging or people said you
left them hanging. Now that you're back on your feet
and moving and stuff like that, then you talk about betrayal.

(22:41):
It's like, how are you handling all these new situations?

Speaker 2 (22:47):
You want me to tell you something crazy? I just
thought about why you were saying that. It's crazy. How
manifest I wrote. I wrote that in prison, which was
like three four years ago, so I manifested everything. Ain't
into reality.

Speaker 1 (23:01):
So that wasn't even happening at the time.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
No, mm, you see what I'm saying. So it's it's
kind of it's kind of spooky like, and that's why
I lean toward the universe more than I do anything
like then religions and stuff, cause I just believe in
the power of the tongue and stuff like that. Like
and in this song, I wa, I went through majority

(23:25):
of it, but like the betrayal that I'm going through now,
I ain't got nothing compared to the betrayal that I
went that I went through before I wrote this song, damn.
And it's like I knew what what what I was facing,
but I didn't know like I was. I was semi prepared,
but I wouldn't. I wasn't. I wasn't. I wasn't mentally

(23:48):
all the way mentally prepared for it. But I don't
beat myself up because I look at it like, hey,
I ain't been out here, motherfucker. Can't expect for me
to know everything and be you know. But they I'm
in the spotlight, so they gonna judge me. They gonna
you know, they open up the door for people to
judge you dead. Yeah, they don't even have the right

(24:10):
to judge you, but they still do it yup. You
know what I'm saying, and I I'm used to that now.
But Uh, hard to Believe is one of my favorite
songs off the project. And you mentioned uh people I
said people I left, uh, and they feel like I
left them hanging. I don't leave people hanging. I I might,

(24:38):
I might, I might just outgrow you. I ain't gonna
leave you hanging like it ain't like, oh fuck that nigga.
But a lot of people feel like that when they
not around no more right and but and it shows
they true colors because all they's telling me is that
you was just around for your own personal gain. Uh.
I tend to reach out to people that I done

(25:00):
start fucking with for months and not stop fucking with 'em,
like on purpose. I just ain't had no reason to
talk to 'em. But they just ain't beneficial. I like
to talk to them people more because they don't call
me every day. They don't go on Facebook uh or
Instagram talking crazy just because you ain't talk to 'em

(25:21):
or just because you ain't reached out to 'em. Yeah,
I got two or three guys that I talk to
like every now and then, like and it's and it's
the same genuine energy. They not mad because they not
going to shows. They not mad because I'm not shouting
'em out in songs. They not mad because they not
in the videos. And you know, I kind of I

(25:41):
kind of keep stay close to guys like that because them,
the ones who you know ain't there for the money, yep,
the the look. Them the ones that you know for
a fact like that, they can curt less about. You
know what I'm say. They live in they own life,
you know what I'm saying. And uh, people feel like
I left them hanging because I just I'm living my

(26:02):
life and raising my family, you know what I'm saying.
And and there it is. They want to go tell
the business that they think they know, and you know
what I'm saying, run and talk to the blogs. It's bad,
It's real bad.

Speaker 1 (26:16):
But I feel you on that. I love a little
maintenance friend like solid. When we talk, when we don't talk,
it's still love.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:23):
I think that's how it should be.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
Yeah. I learned that from uh, from one of my
guys when I was young in prison. I was like,
why you always talking about this this this specific nigga,
Like why you don't he come to see you. Why
he was like, Bro, nigga ain't got to come see
me for him for me to know he loved me.
A nigga ain't got to come. A niggain't got to
send me no money, but a nigga ain't got to

(26:46):
uh do nothing for me. I'm in here because of me,
you know what I'm saying. Like, if he want to,
that's cool. I'm not finna be mad at him because
he ain't dead nothing for me. I love him because
of who he is, like as a person. He going
through shit too out there right. It ain't like he
rich and got means and just ain't taking care of me.

(27:06):
He going through shit. He ain't got nothing, So why
am I mad because he can't sit me over? They
kne be tweeny of the other us. Nigga he might
need is twenty, Yeah he might. You know it is
what it is, nigga. You know what I'm saying. So
you know it is what it is.

Speaker 1 (27:23):
It is what it is circumstantial. Look alright, So on
the show, we play a game called Questions that Need Answers.
All you gotta do is fill in the blak, y'all.
It's good it's good. The older I get, the less I.

Speaker 2 (27:41):
Stress. Good.

Speaker 1 (27:44):
You would never believe me if I told you, Oh
my god, the evil laugh got me concerned. Come on what?

Speaker 2 (27:55):
Uh? I would never believe you if you told me.

Speaker 1 (28:01):
No, I would never believe you if you told me so,
it gotta be something from you.

Speaker 2 (28:06):
I gotta be something like that. You exing me, alright,
I uh so, Basically, you will never believe me if
I told you. I don't know. I'm trying to pick
the right thing. I ain't say. Oh, I'm just gonna

(28:28):
say something like, you will never believe me. If I
told you I could sing?

Speaker 1 (28:34):
Can you yeah, Kenny, they like this, nigga can't say.
Ain't nobody vouching for you?

Speaker 2 (28:42):
You don't believe me?

Speaker 1 (28:43):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (28:43):
Fine, fine, fine?

Speaker 1 (28:46):
Uh Sometimes I look back at my life and.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
Fool I try not to look back. Uh, I wonder.
I'm just gonna say, I want Okay, well.

Speaker 1 (29:04):
Three things you would if you could go back and
tell your eighteen year old self three things? What would
it be?

Speaker 2 (29:12):
Take heed, stay in school and treat people how you
want to be treated.

Speaker 1 (29:24):
Very solid, love those. My personality trait is blank.

Speaker 2 (29:31):
Well, my personality trait is funny silly.

Speaker 1 (29:38):
I could see that you're very silly online. If you
could time travel back to your memories, but you only
get to pick one song? What record would it be?
So like a song that reminds you of like an
era or a moment.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
In your life? Mini men?

Speaker 1 (29:55):
Fifty? Why why that record?

Speaker 2 (29:59):
It just won't go out. It won't go away, like
it won't like a lot of songs. I can hear
it and I be like, damn, I remember this shit
was hard, but like men and men won't go away.
It was a it was a error where like it
was bad. Of course, it was poverty and shit and
fifty seen with my favorite rapper cassette Uh I mean

(30:19):
uh uh uh or CDs was out then, and uh
you know CDs was what twenty thirty dollars and shit
then twenty thirty forty dollars, so you know, we c
we couldn't afford no CD. So it got down the
street at the BI had had to not and not
not they sold hot doll and tighter chips and shit.
I took a cassette tape player down there and recorded

(30:42):
the whole uh uh uh gearage I try and uh
on my cassette tape like so them times like I
just have to walk around listen to a whole to
my earth. But like there was a time where I
was I don't know, it's just weird to me some reason.

Speaker 1 (30:58):
Yeah, it stuck with you, Yeah it stuck.

Speaker 2 (31:00):
I feel like I sh it stuck with me for
a reason too. You know.

Speaker 1 (31:04):
That's a good one. That's that's a really good one. Alright, Well,
thank you for joining me. I'm excited about the project dropping.
What is like something you want people to take away
from this album and this era for next Two.

Speaker 2 (31:17):
Times, don't beat yourself up for what you what you
what you don't know. Don't beat yourself for for for
uh making mistakes. Don't beat yourself for for looking silly.
Don't beat yourself for for looking lame. Don't beat yourself
it it happens, you know what I'm saying. Of course,

(31:38):
we don't want it to happen in the public, but
it happens. And I feel like, uh, everybody gotta take
their own course and take their time with life. Yeah,
and don't beat yourself up. So that's what I say.

Speaker 1 (31:54):
The growth, we love it, we love it. But that's
two times.

Speaker 2 (31:57):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (31:59):
Talk to guys most.

Speaker 2 (32:01):
