Speaker 1 (00:00):
What's up? Everybody? Welcome to the podcast that is finally
going to allow you and invite you in for a hug.
So bring it in right now, bring it in, give
us a give us a hug. No, I actually punched
you in the balls because I'm not Charlotte Flair. I'm
Logan Paul. How's that feel? How's that feel? Let's start the.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Show and now your main event introducing the hosts, Wrestling
Win Pready, chef god hand of Pardy Prience tune.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
All right, Jeff, you're recovering from that vicious ball shot
that I just executed on you and our listeners. How
are you feel? How was your week?

Speaker 3 (01:02):
Feeling a little vulnerable, a little betrayed. This is not
the Freddy We've come to love, you know, it seems
very off brand. For the weekend was good, big chefs
everyone in Minneapolis.

Speaker 4 (01:13):
We had fun, fun shows there.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Great wrestling city, Minneapolis.

Speaker 4 (01:16):
Great restling city. And then I went to Milwaukee for
a day.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
Great shout out to the break Milwaukee. I currently in
New York City, so I'm excited to be and then
it gets come home for a little while.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
New York City is a pretty cool wrestling city. They're
kind of sometimes too cool for school, Like they don't
love it as much because they're used to getting it,
Whereas like Minneapolis, Milwaukee, those cities are always like, are
you bringing wrestling back to miny it's been a year. Oh,
we're freaking good. It's like the Montreal show they did
in for Friday Night SmackDown, Like the crowd was so hot.

(01:48):
Because they don't go there as often. It's not it's
not as the excitement.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
New York and LA are spoiled with everything, you know
what I mean. They get it all, they get it
all great.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
They talk shit about one another, but they're very similar,
not in the way they look, but in the fact
that you can basically get whatever you want anytime you want.
One offers the city vibe. One offers like the outside vibe,
but the people are much more similar. I think that's
why they hate each other, because they see so much
of each other in the other person, right, like the
other one is always living the other's dream. The New

(02:19):
Yorker secretly wants to be in like a Malibu beach house,
and the guy in Malibu wants to have the penthouse
apartment in New York. They just will never admit it,
but they want the officers life for sure. Yeah, Big
week in Wrestling. We will get into on the Thursday
show Unsanctioned. We're gonna get into some contract philosophies between

(02:40):
Talent and Corpo. You know whose side I'm on, Corpo scumbags.
But this this episode, we're gonna focus on the stories,
of which there are many, sir. Wwe laced a couple
nice ones in there, like with it within the context
of a match, which I think Triple H likes to
do a lot. That's his and aw is just very

(03:02):
much more blunt with what their story is going to be.
They're just like, yeah, you guys are gonna punch each
other in the face ten times. Then we're going to
start a match, and we're gonna get into all of it.
And it's gonna start right now with one of your
favorite wrestlers was in this segment, mister La Knight. You
want to see him in the big time. But Seth
Rolins started it, he opened the show. He's the man.

(03:23):
He's dressing so much better than he was a year ago.
He's looking way cool. Uh, He's out there and La
Knight interrupts and he says, oh no, no, no, no, no no.
I want a title shot and I want it now,
and you know Rollins doesn't want to give him one.
But he gets the title shot and Pierce comes out
and he bans Brown Breaker and Bronson Reid from ringside.

(03:45):
So we're gonna get a We're gonna get an honest
to goodness championship, no nonsense match. There's got to be
a winner. There certainly won't be a DQ. There wouldn't
be a DQ, of course not. It's just going to
be a straight up match. This sets the table for later.
But La Night main event. I know you're excited, mister Die,
tell me how excited you are.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
Very very excited, love La Night, very excited about all
of this. I think this could be the big push
that we've all been hoping for. But I want to
ask you and the Federation some questions here. Did seth
Rawlins break wrestling? Did he save it right? Is he

(04:27):
brought back k fabe or has he ruined it? For
podcast like ours and the Dave Meltzers and all these
podcasts like Wrestle Amy, all these different.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
Things, because now not only just everything.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
We have to like talk about be like or maybe
it's a work, like now we're all paranoid girlfriends going
but maybe this isn't real. But maybe I'm just saying
here's what I think. But it could also be we
have to now forever a go. But it could be
a work. It could be a work.

Speaker 4 (04:59):
But I don't know if it's a for better for worse,
Like what do you think?

Speaker 1 (05:02):
I think it's way better for wrestling, And I think
it's awful for podcasts because it makes podcasters predictions wrong, right,
and the news they drop incorrect, which is why I
try to stay out of all that the news stuff
and just focus on the stories and predictions because I
don't like being wrong. That sucks. But yeah, I think
it's great for wrestling in the same way that I

(05:23):
think mjfkfab stuff is great for wrestling. It's just on
the opposite side of the spectrum. Right. They're like one
is the ultimate heel scumbag and the other is the
ultimate badass babyface, and they're both trying to trick you,
and they're both trying to get over on all these
smart people that know about wrestling and the wrestling business,
and or some think they know but don't. Some actually do,

(05:46):
and there's real information out there and there's fake information
out there, and he I think likes watching people swim
through both and letting those waters kind of bleed together.
And I think it's really cool. Man. I haven't seen
Seth Rollins do wrong in a long long time. Man.
Like everything he's done, even his dressing. Man, I'm like, yo, man,

(06:06):
he's looking sharp, but he's not looking like Charlotte Flair
dressed him, you know what I mean, He's coming out
looking looking cool. So uh so yeah, man, I uh,
I think it's good for wrestling, and uh it makes
all of us look bad, which is I'm sure he
enjoys that, so it's.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
Well, but because one of us, I think everyone that
wrestling wants to be sports so bad. You know, they
have the post conferences and they love that, we have
podcasts where we're like, here's what's gonna happen. They love
like doing all the sports things, like look at how
many people tweeting about proc Clestner. Yeah, but like they

(06:43):
love they're trying to be like sports, which means you
kind of need to distance yourself from kfabe. But then
they also want to be k fe because wrestling is
so unique as opposed to sports. So I'm very torn,
almost like almost sentenced to sentence whether I think it's.

Speaker 4 (06:57):
Good or bad. But anyways, I just want to get
your and have it on record.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Of what you on the record, I think it's awesome.
And I like when artists get over on the people
that comment and critique art and h and we're two
of those, so I don't mind when it happens to us.
It kind of makes me laugh. I also don't mind
when you guys write mean stuff and I'll read it
on the air if you guys want. You guys can
give comments on the in the give us four star

(07:21):
if you want it read. You got to give us
the stars. But you can still talk some smack in
your comment and I'll read it. Jeff gets mad and
he'll talk some smack back to you, and I'll just
I'll show you some love either way. That's what I
like about wrestling is when they talk trash about me,
I go, oh, it's fun. They're doing it.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
Like the guys like, no, I really hate you, Jeff
die and I go wrestling, and like I get to
just brush it off, like it's like it's a fun heal.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
No, I really hate you.

Speaker 4 (07:49):
Yeah, I hate you when I got I've had.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
People genuinely hate me on social media and I've always
been like, bro, what it's crazy. At least get to
know me.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
Man.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
If you can't get to know me, you can't hate me.
You're not in a position too. I mean, I guess
you can if you want. And if you write something creative,
I'll read it whether you mean it or not. Moving on,
Dominic Mysterio beat the hell out of Dragon Lee because
the baby face always wins, and he won and we're
not gonna worry about how he won. But I'll let
you guys know. He was the good guy in this match,

(08:24):
no matter what you saw, and Dragon Lee was the
bad guy. He can't control if other wrestlers are running
up like will you think he texted all these people
and were like, dress up like Grande Americano and helped
me out in the match. No, he's a champion. He's focused.
He's not screwing around on the internet. He's not posting
stuff on social media right before a match. He's a professional.

(08:44):
He's done all these things the way. But uh, I
freaking love Dominic Mysterio. I hope he stays champion right
now forever. He can really move in there. He's a
really solid wrestler. When he's backstage, he comes off like
an impudent child, like just very immature and still learning,

(09:06):
but like you can't tell me nothing. And when he's
in the ring, the crowd still gives him all the
proper amount of hate and they don't let him finish
his promo. So it's two very different dynamics on the mic,
which I don't think anybody else can pull off. Right now,
I love everything about him. I know everybody hates him
and he's a heel, but you have to remember this
man was manipulated by cruel women, all right. And there's

(09:27):
a lot of guys out there who are hearing this
and they can relate. You've been manipulated by a cruel woman.
He was manipulated by two. So give him some friggin
latitude and show some love to Dashing dominic mystereo. Shit.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
Ah, I love Dominice Mysterio. I say it every time
we talk about him. I'm such a such a such a,
such a such a fan. I also love that he
kind of does what Seth Rowland does. Also where he's
living his gimmick. Oh totally always dirty dumb like because
you know he's like you see him and he's wearing

(10:02):
the get up. You know, it's like he could He
looks like he could fight at any time, any place
because he's always doing dirty dom which is great.

Speaker 1 (10:12):
Dude. He talks about chicken tenders all the time, like
and how much he loves him and he just didn't
break like it ever loved about him, dude. I just
he's the man. He's the man.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
I think it's a masterpiece. And with how young he
is and with how you know, how how much family
and it's in his blood and he's got a lot
of time and he's already doing great things.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
So I love him.

Speaker 4 (10:34):
That being said, I loved him.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
El Grande Americano thing, it's one of my favorite things
in the world.

Speaker 4 (10:41):
I love that they're multiplying. I love that we're all kind.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
Of trans Americanos.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
We don't want to worry about if these guys are
British or American or or a Hispanic.

Speaker 4 (10:53):
Yeah there's there.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
The guys can even get injured and we'll find a
new person to be the Grande Americanos. So I love
that they're keeping this on I've said it on here
a bunch of times. I love when wrestling takes big swings,
and this one's a really.

Speaker 4 (11:07):
Fun, silly big swing.

Speaker 3 (11:09):
And I think as wrestling's gotten more popular and or
I don't know if it's more popular, but in the
era that it's in right now, there's been less comedy
and more explosive sports entertainment kind of moments, which is good.
I like it, but I do wish there was more
silly comedy stuff. And so with the New Day Beam Healed,

(11:30):
their comedy is a little weirder. I think the Grannie
Americanos story is so silly and playful, and we need
more stuff like that. We need more Joe Hendry stuff.
We need more Orange Cassidy like kind of things in
WW in my opinion, and the El Grande Americanos is
a nice touch.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
The stand up comic ones comedy in wrestling. Who would have?
Who would have thunk it? The main event seth Rawlins,
son of a bitch who cashed in his money in
the bank, dresses sharper than anyone he had to fight

(12:10):
a match with, well with La Knight, And I know
I said that there was no DQ or there wouldn't
be one, but I lied. I saw the show. See
him Punk, who's had enough of this bullshit with Seth Rollinse.
He got to hold the title for like two minutes.
There's a great meme of him out there holding the

(12:31):
title and looking up like, oh fuck, what the hell?
When Rollins comes out, it's awesome. He came out to
get some revenge, but he caused a DQ. And here's
another reason why we're not even gonna talk about the
match unless you went to you can't. After the match,
about an hour after, Jeff hadn't seen the show yet,

(12:51):
and he texted me and our producer Alex, oh, shit
La Knight and see him Punk had some beef after
the show. Screwed up and they got Now, you didn't
screw up, many they got you with their magic right,
Like you just hadn't seen the match, that's all. But
you were like, yo, we're talking about wrestling even when
we're not watching wrestling. That's what I want. That's good.

(13:12):
And so he goes, oh, they got beef, and I
write back, well, yeah, if you cost me the championship,
we'd have beef too, And then he watched the match
like an hour later, he's like, oh my bad, I
just saw the show.

Speaker 3 (13:23):
Because that tweet was you know, like East Coast time
or whenever it aired over there. So when I watched it,
I was like, cash, dang it, that's exactly what happened.
And then what aren't they Now there's this new element
kind of like what we were talking about earlier too,
is not only might things be part of the show,
but some things might be part of real life, but

(13:43):
some things might be part of Unreal which they're taping
for Netflix where they doing like that kind of so
you have so many different things that could be happening.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
And unreal is like all reality TV is not produced.
It is heavily produced. We want you to say this,
and then you tell you say what they tell you
to say in your own words. It's it's that produced.
It's when they say it's unscripted, it's just because no
one's writing the words down, but they are telling you

(14:15):
what they want you to say, and it's your job
to execute it. So just know when you're watching this show,
it is not unscripted. It's not even technically behind the scenes.
It's it's all organized and deliberate and and entertaining, right
definitely entertaining. But don't don't believe that reality TV is real,

(14:36):
any of it. It is. It is way produced. Please
just trust me. I'm not trying to throw people under
the bus. But it's not real. It's very unreal. Yes,
it's incredibly unreal. SmackDown recap scene. It came out and
he's afraid, Jeff, you know, and it's okay to be afraid,

(14:57):
and it's okay to communicate your fears thing. It's healthy.
I think it takes a lot of courage. And that
was the message that old school John Cena was preaching
to all the kids. His bravery isn't not being afraid.
It's doing what's right and what's tough even when you
are afraid. Because he's Captain America again. He's John friggin Sena,

(15:18):
He's Duke from g I Joe, He's whoever your hero
was when you were growing up. That's the John Cena
promo we got. And he's gonna fight brock Lesner no
matter what. All shit here comes logan Paul. I guess
we're not fighting brock Lesner, and logan Paul came out
and it's you know, John Cena's really, really good on
the mic, so it's tough to have like a back

(15:40):
and forth with him. You kind of have to let
him say what he's gonna say, and then you say
what you're gonna say, and then you guys fight, and
then the general manager comes out and says, old everything,
Old everything. If we're gonna fight, we're gonna make it official.
And we got a tag team match that night. Logan Paul,
who wants to fight John Cena clash in Paris. I

(16:00):
wonder if it's not clashed at the castle in Paris.
There's castles in Paris too. Maybe they tore them all
down and just built like sweet statues sculpted by wonderful artists.
But they're gonna fight there. And then at the end
of that match, we got a really cool turn as
to what not a turn. We got a really cool
way of telling the story as to who Cody's next

(16:22):
opponent's gonna be, And it's gonna be Drew McIntyre, which
I love. I cannot wait to watch where the story goes.
Both Drew's super good on the mic, Cody's good on
the mic. They both wrestled their ass off. They're both
willing to you know, bleed, sweat, cry, whatever it takes
to sell the story. Cody freaking wrestled Seth Rollins with

(16:43):
a torn pectoral It couldn't move his freaking arm, but
he wanted to give everybody a good show, you sociopath.
That's how awesome these guys are, and I can't wait
to see it. I thought they they established that story
in a really cool way within the context of a
match instead of a promo, and I like Triple H
does stuff like that, or whoever it was, that was responsible, good,

(17:03):
good on you. That was entertaining and fun to watch,
and everybody was clear as to you know who's next,
who's next in line, so that'd be a ton of fun.
I liked it, and I don't always like tag team matches,
But did you and do you like the direction both
stories are going?

Speaker 3 (17:19):
I do, And I think I want to give some
love to WWE and some credit to WWE and John
Cena were in the fashion that they like, they were
willing to go. Maybe this heel turn wasn't good, Maybe
this maybe people didn't like what we gave them with

(17:40):
John Cena, and maybe this was a disaster, and let's
fix it before he leaves let's not just have pride.

Speaker 4 (17:47):
And like stay in this thing, like let's just.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
Give you like you just said, Captain America or the
John Cena we came to love. And they did it
pretty abruptly. I mean, I wish they'd have done it sooner.
But when they did it, I mean they made a
real turn. Him basically apologizing in his in his in
his mic work. It was I was really impressed. I
don't think I I can't recall anytime I've seen wrestling

(18:11):
do that where he was just like.

Speaker 4 (18:13):
Ah, man, you know my bad. It was and so
bad that they let Drew McIntyre.

Speaker 3 (18:21):
And when I say let, it was Drew McIntyre's idea,
but wrestling didn't punish him. He trashed the booking like
in public, like on interviews and stuff like Drew mctire
was like that was a disaster, Like that was terrible,
like and that's such a part of uh, Drew McIntyre's
like character now, like that he gets to just say

(18:41):
whatever he wants without getting lectured by Triple Age. So anyways,
I love it, and I think they deserve a lot
of credit for they really do want wrestling to be great.
For the audience. I wish wrestling fans were a little
more understanding of that.

Speaker 1 (18:58):
I feel like they were just understanding in the modern
world because of social media, because you can only like
or dislike something right, you can't. There's no in the middle,
and unfortunately, the world is the middle, and so is art,
you know what I mean. So it makes it it
makes it really hard to for people to kind of
get on the same page because it's like, are you
a Republican or Democrat. It's like, let's have right, let's

(19:20):
have four, let's have five parties, let's have it, you
know what I mean. Let's let's spread it out a
little bit. Yes or no is a really tough way
to live your life, right or wrong. It's a really
tough way to live your life. And it's stressful, super stressful. Man.
All right, So here's where we're at with WWE. You guys.
We've got some world title chaos, right. We've got Rollins,
Punk Knight, Roman Reigns. We've got Bronson, Reed and bron

(19:42):
Breaker connected with Rawlins, all in one story. I don't
know where it's going, but I'm here to watch. We've
got Sena versus Logan, Paul we've got the celebrity Heel
versus the legendary Babyface, and we've got Shamus and Russev.
If you're if you're just into meat beating on other meat.

(20:04):
That sounded awkward, but we've got that coming up. We've
got the women's tag scene with Alexa Bliss and Charlie
Flair getting along and Chelsea Green and Cake and I'll
leave it at that. We've also got Sammy Zain versus
Solo Soca because Sammy got a sneaky victory over the
Samoan and even with the MFTs there, he didn't care,

(20:27):
he didn't need help. He beat everybody's ass and got
a sneaky one over. So that puts him in the
title picture for the US Championship. Solo. You can't can't
let someone from Montreal hold the United States Championship. Kevin
Owens insulted, insulted this country when he was the US
champ and paraded it around like like Chelsea Green did.
You can't. You can't let these Canadians take the US Championship.

(20:50):
Any other titles, fine, but damn it, Solo. You got
to keep it, keep the belts. The first time I'm
rooting for the heel. I'm just kidding. I hopes everyone,
and that's it. That's that's the that's the state of
the Union address. Moving on to a e W all

(21:13):
the tribalists now just turn off the podcast. No, no,
I'm not going to hear it. Guys. The show is
almost over. We gave we gave w W way more time.
Mjf's the man on the mic. That's all I'll say.
If you don't want to watch the show, just watch
him on the microphone. It's uh, it's pretty awesome. He
breaks modern rules by embracing the old school way of

(21:35):
doing things, and I think that's really cool. We we
mentioned earlier in the show that seth Rawlins kind of
did a similar thing with his KFA leg injury. We
did that once with Jeff Hardy when I worked there,
and said like he was lost and wasn't going to
show up for a match, and then he shows up
for the match. Way, it's the chat, bad chap. Oh
my god, people got really pissed at us. That was
actually my idea. Yeah, Vince liked it. He liked it.

(21:57):
We k fabed and tricked the news because the news
always talk smack on wrestling, So it was like, Yo,
why don't we get one over on them? Man, they're
always looking for a reason to poo poo us, Like,
let's let's get get one over And that was how
I pitched it, and he was like, yeah, fuck them,
And then we literally did did the idea sobody? Yes, exactly,

(22:18):
So uh we got MJF versus Adam Page coming up.
Mgf's trying to goat him into giving him a championship
match without MJF using his free contract that he can
cash in whenever he wants or for any pay per
view he wants uh to uh to challenge. So he's
trying to get a two fer in case, you know,
he loses the first match, boom, he can cash him

(22:39):
for the next one. Everything's all good if he does that.
If he wins, he's gonna have to deal with the
hurt syndicates. Bobby Lashley, I've been saying this for the
longest time. That's what's gonna happen. Mjf's gonna eventually get
the title, if not a forbidden Door, then at the
next one, and then it's gonna be we hurt people
and you guys are gonna promos go down between MVP

(23:02):
and an MJF. That are awesome. You're gonna see Bobby
Lashley almost kill MJF and MJF running for his life.
You're gonna se MJF getting a sneaky move in, poking
him in the eye, punching him in the nuts, doing
all kinds of shady shit to make to keep his championship.
I can't wait to see where this is gonna go.

(23:23):
And I like everything Hangman Page has been doing, and
I know I'm like I'm missing the forest through the trees,
so to speak, because their match is gonna be awesome,
But I really want to see a match that I
haven't seen before, which is Bobby and Max. They haven't wrestled,
and I think first timers are are awesome like that.
Those matches are matches that I don't forget. I think

(23:45):
a lot of people don't forget. So I'm really excited
for it. Mark Brisco came out in the middle of
it and was like, yo, I'm not here to talk,
and they get threw in some good shots. I'm really
starting to love Mark Brisco and uh and yet and
so that's where that's where I stand on it. But
let's see what kind of business Jeff stands on.

Speaker 3 (24:06):
I obviously I'm a big MJF mark.

Speaker 4 (24:10):
I would love to see him and Bobby Lashley just
like everyone else.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
I'd like to see them in the ring, But I
wonder how they'll tell that wrestling story, so not the story.
Maybe I'm using the wrong verbiage. How are they justified
those two wrestling against each other? Bobby Logey would eat
anyone alive in pro wrestling, so I would love to
see how they would put that match together, for sure.

(24:34):
But I would love to watch it, and I trust
everything MJF does. I think he's such a I think
an old wrestler must have died and his soul went
into MJF. Because MJF is just so good, so young
in all these ways. Also, if you watched Happy Gilmour too,
MJF is all over.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
That movie is see. I haven't seen it.

Speaker 3 (24:58):
Oh my god, I didn't know that was what it
was going to. I knew that he was in it,
but I know that everyone's in it. My friend Jay
Mandiam's in it, Logan, Everyone's in it. Everyone's in that movie.
But I did we didn't get we didn't get to
be in it. We're like the only people not in
that movie. Oh man, So yeah, it's more exclusive to

(25:19):
not be.

Speaker 1 (25:20):
In that movie. That's a small club.

Speaker 4 (25:23):
Small club.

Speaker 1 (25:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (25:24):
But anyways, M Jeff was absolutely great in it, and
I just think he's got a real future and acting.
But I hope that he's not so good at acting
that we don't see him more in wrestling, because I'd
rather him be a wrestler.

Speaker 1 (25:34):
He loves wrestling so much. Man, You're not gonna see
that like any movie stuff he does is just to
put eyeballs back onto wrestling when he goes to wrestle,
like that's his first passion, one hundred percent like he
he he loves what he does. Movies are fun and
cool and they pay good money. Sometimes not at Netflix,
so he didn't make nothing on that, but uh man,

(25:56):
I worked there. But yeah, man, he's he's awesome. I
can't wait to see how they tell the story that.
But the Hangman and him is gonna be a good
story too. Almost everything with him has been super duper
and I like it all and I'm here for it.
Next up, we got Darby Allen. Darby Allen is crazy.

(26:19):
Him and Max are gonna have a wrestling match, and
he is gonna let John Moxley do whatever violent, gross,
creative things John Moxley can think of, and then he's
gonna say, oh, I thought of all those things, and
I thought of these other ten things too. Why don't
you throw me ten stories off a building onto this
spike and it'll go through my chest and somehow reincarnate.

Speaker 4 (26:42):
Don't worry, he's Mortal Kombat. They're doing Mortal Kombat exactly.

Speaker 1 (26:46):
You're gonna take this spike on a chain and send
it through my heart and rip it out. So yeah,
so I'm excited for that. That's I'm telling you, guys.
I've been really into the blood lately, and those two
those two dudes are gonna bleed for or art when
they wrestle it Forbidden Door. Uh. I'm excited for this.
I know they don't always tell the stories that get

(27:09):
you hyped, but I feel like this is the type
of match that you would be more excited for even
than me, because it's gonna be a gimmick masterpiece. They're
gonna bring every weapon in the world into this match.

Speaker 3 (27:21):
I think Darby Allen is one of the most underrated
wrestlers in all of pro wrestling. He's so good, he's
so adventurous, he's crazy. He wrestles against guys that don't match,
you know, like what he looks like in the way
he wrestles, and he still makes a great show of it.
Great tells a great story in the ring. He's able

(27:43):
to be with Sting, He's able to wrestle with John Moxley.
He's able to wrestle and swerve. I mean, Darby Allen
truly is kind of like a utility wrestler as far
as like he'll he'll make it work.

Speaker 4 (27:55):
He'll get in there and he'll make it work, and.

Speaker 1 (27:57):
He takes a great so good. Yeah, he really a
great beating. He doesn't try to get big guy moves
off as a small guy like he'll let you beat
the shit out of him, and then every once in
a while he'll get a crazy, high risk, high reward
move off on you, and then that's how he starts
his offense and he stays really true to that. I
like that. It's like what Jeff Hardy used to do.
And Jeff is bigger than than Darby obviously, but he

(28:19):
still was going against huge guys like the Big Show
and it was like, nah, dude, I'm made of pipe cleaners.
You can bin me and smash me any way you want.
I'll just come back to form. And then every once
in a while I'm gonna jump off the top rope
and do some crazy shit. Please catch me. Like that's like,
that's it, man, and it's awesome to watch. I love it.
Jeff was on Darby Starby's cool too.

Speaker 3 (28:39):
Darby Allen as if you mixed Jeff Hardy and Spike
Dudley into like one wrestler, What a crazy comparison.

Speaker 1 (28:46):
That's totally all. I was like, and who and who?
And he said, yeah, Dudley, And.

Speaker 3 (28:51):
Like when he gets when he gets slammed, it's very convincing.
He sells it perfectly. It looks like he was actually hurt,
which is what we're trying to watch, you know, We're
trying to see real looking wrestling, and he's there's no
one finer.

Speaker 4 (29:04):
So I'm excited for that.

Speaker 1 (29:07):
I'm sure.

Speaker 4 (29:07):
I think what the other thing is you asked me about?

Speaker 1 (29:10):
Yeah, I just have to remember I love Darbie. I
will not Yes, you do love Darbiel. So those are
the main stories. Also, we're gonna have Athena versus Tony Storm.
We're gonna have Mercedes Money versus Alex Windsor, who's pretty
new to aew seen her matches. Haven't gotten to know
her very well yet from the promos. They haven't really
told her story as far as that goes, but I

(29:32):
hope they do soon because she's big and she looks
strong and tough and I like that. But that's ae W.
We're gonna get into contract negotiations on Thursday's episode of Unsanctioned,
and my philosophy on how people negotiate. What I know,
what I'm guessing on based on my experience, what I
love and what I hate about it, and who I

(29:53):
hope wins. Jeff, your opinion is gonna be pro artist.
I'm certain and so it's mine. So there's the spoiler,
and I'm behalf of Jeff. This is Freddy. Thanks for
listening to the show. Tune in every week, give us reviews,
give us love, give us all that stuff. Jeff, tell
the people where you're going to be this weekend.

Speaker 3 (30:13):
This weekend, come see me at the Houston Punchline Thursday, Friday, Saturday.

Speaker 4 (30:18):
I'm super excited to go back to Keniston. Come see
me we'll

Speaker 1 (30:22):
See you on Thursday.
