Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hi, I'm Michael, and your morning show is heard on
great radio stations across the country like one oh five,
nine twelve fifty w hn Z and Tampa, Florida, News
Radio five seventy w k b N and Youngstown, Ohio
and News Radio one thousand KTOK in Oklahoma City. Love
to have you listen to us live in the morning.
And of course we're so grateful you came for the podcast.

(00:20):
Enjoy Mike, you know, yeah, yeah, I wanted to know
my speaker. Put them on for a second.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
It's coming on two.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
Three, starting your morning off right. A new way of talk,
a new way of understanding because we're in this together.
This is your morning show with michaelpel charnon two million dollars. Hey,
all you gotta do is a podcast.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Here, it's Monday morning. Congratulations. Do I got to love
a Seriously, you were you on the phone? We should
do that? Was I just told me got a two
million dollar iHeart podcast deal. No, I can't. We all
know it was Red that made the brank phone call,
not the coaches kid from the Falcons. You're going to
wait a little longer. Good morning, everybody. Welcome to April

(01:10):
to twenty eighth, Monday, eight minutes after the hour, a
recreational ferry crash in Clearwater, Florida, responsible for at least
one death, multiple injuries. Huge story, waking up, breaking story,
waking up. The US and Iran are set to hold
another round of nuke talks, and the field is set
for the one hundred and fifty first. You know, if

(01:32):
I gain another ten pounds, I could be the trumpet
guy at Churchill Down. You gotta be short and fat
to do that. They can then gound more like this,
and with the passing of the Pope and the burial
and funeral of the Pope, now the business of the
next Pope at the Vatican, the conclave set to begin.

(01:56):
Welcome to Monday, April of twenty eighth. I have three
runaway favorite stories, and I'm not going to get into
Shador Sanders, although I think it is very unfortunate and
very discrediting to mel Kiper, who was opening monologue. Weren't
going to get into this, and here you go. Well,
I was just gonna say, I mean, you can't play

(02:17):
the racism card when the number one overall pick was
a black quarterback. So put that out of your mind.
The prank phone call does remind me of a story
about my brother. We may have a family story before
the show's over. Don't let me forget coming later on
this morning. But you do wonder if you know the

(02:38):
two for the price of one comes to mind. Either
he was very overrated, very unimpressive in interviews, or people
realize with him you get Dion And I don't know
if anybody wanted that distraction for a rookie backup quarterback,
whatever the case. I think it's a locker room thing.
Well it becomes a storyline. I think of the draft,

(02:59):
I said, yeah, I think on Friday looks to me
like the Patriots are having a plus rated draft from
Mike Vrabel and the Patriots not so much for that.
Titans and the Browns in the end, I mean, I
think they made the most of what they could. I mean,
they have a team to build and they made some
really good selections. They get a B in their reading.

(03:21):
My runaway favorite story is we finally found out who
stole Christy Nome's purse, which, by the way, impressively our
Homeland Security director heada. I wonder if she rolls it,
you know like they I mean, if three thousand dollars
cash in your purse, which I've never had in my life. Well,
one night I won in Vegas that I had. It

(03:43):
was like forty years ago. Wow. But I mean, I
wonder if she does it in a circle with a
rubber band too. But no, So Christy Nome gets her
purse robbed in DC with three thousand dollars cash. Guess
who gets arrested? Two illegal immigrants.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
You can't make this violation eight United States Code thirteen
twenty five.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
The other is the left's hatred of what they're calling
the maga media, meaning any media that isn't leftist like them,
they think is an infringement on their freedom of speech.
Imagine such a thing that opening up the White House
to everyone is somehow a silencing of their freedom of speech.

(04:21):
In other words, you would have our matrix or you
do not live. And then my third favorite story is
harassed me some poll that I think fits into my
thesis for the day. I'll give you an example. Chris
Walker's going to be joining us. Is it time for
Trump to pivot out of the tariff uncertainty? And when

(04:43):
is Congress going to get the tax cuts done? At
least get the first Trump tax cuts solidified and extended,
and the reason that that's my gut. And again there's
Donald Trump the man, Donald Trump the president. There's the
art of the deal, there's what's ultimately right, and then
there's just the political view staring down the barrel of

(05:04):
a midterm election and then an open election for the
presidency in twenty twenty eight. You've hit a major home
run on immigration. That's a parent in every poll. You
made promises, you were elected to keep those promises. You
kept them, and it worked overwhelmingly. And the American people
are behind him. He's vulnerable on the economy, and he's

(05:28):
got to pivot away from this terriff uncertainty and get
these tax cuts done and get the economy headed in
a perceptual it's going in a right direction, but it's
got to be perceptually going in the right direction. Like immigration.
He's got to do that prior to the midterm election.
And I think he's got to achieve one of two goals.

(05:51):
One that continued I guess march towards They'll never be
stability in the Middle East. So I can't even say
this with a straight face, but at least a perceivable
for the near future stability in the Middle East in
an ending of this Ukraine Russian war, one of those
two as we used to stay down in Nollins. That'd
be nice, Lan yet Lan, Yeah, just you know, tarry

(06:14):
on the whipp cream, a little bonus. But we see
that in this rasmusem Pola plenty. We had a great weekend.
It began with Red's birthday. Although shrouded in controversy, really
one the optical illusion of where he sits every morning.
We thought that was a family room, didn't we. Yeah,

(06:35):
I thought it was like a bonus room. Yeah, that's
like a little alcoholics room. You go down a side
hallway towards the garage and there's this really nice room
right before you get to the garage and it's just
loaded with bourbon. Yeah, you walk through those beads, that's
a lot. That's a lot of alcohol in close proximity
to five computers. It's a nut cup rid that's where

(06:58):
he works, that's where he played. Why he's slurping all
the time. I don't want to say anything, but Jeffrey
at myself, at our spouses, we chose to eat that room. Yeah, Well,
nobody was shrouded in controversy. Over there we are for
the sixtieth birthday, and there is there is some question
as to whether or not Read is lying about his age,

(07:19):
no kidding, which I stand by him because I'm convinced
we were twins separated at birth, so that would make
it for the longest time my mom our. The person
who delivered me onto this earth in Flint, Michigan, Saint
Joseph's Hospital, ten ten am, August thirtieth, nineteen sixty four.
His name, and I'm not exaggerating it's not my birth
certificate was doctor Heine an ass slapped me into existence. Wow,

(07:46):
I nearly died. Mom nearly died. The explanation. What you
got to see me? My first with one minute old,
full head of hair parted but all bruised. I looked
like a fighter that just got out of a fifteen
round fighting. I mean, well, asses in there with four
steps slapping me around. I was strangling on a bilical chords.

(08:06):
But what I think was happening was that was the
fight between me and Red coming out of the womb together.
And I think I think Red, like in the movie Alien,
I think he scampered off the table and went out
the back door by the way Red lies to meet
the chicks. Is what we found out right, I mean basically,
all right, can you confirm your age? Like when you
were on the dating app you lied to at you

(08:30):
are sixty though we could confirm that, but he wants
hard to believe. He's fishing, like, why did you shave
a year on the dating app? Don't know? Did you
call Shador? Was that you? It was okay? And then
I had a wonderful day at the ballpark yesterday. I've
got some good news for my friends listening in Wisconsin.

(08:51):
You have a game changing picture. I think he's six.
I think he was six'. Seven imagine six at seven
coming at you off the, mound throwing one hundred miles
an hour fastballs and then having a breaking ball at
eighty five miles an, hour which has a. Hitter that's a.
Nightmare so we have a new big. Unit. Yeah Jacob mirosso,

(09:14):
mirasout mirror Miss, Zerowski, Misurowski Jacob. Miserowski nine strikeouts in five,
innings only one. Hit you have a closer, today perhaps
the best starter In Major League baseball coming your way very.
Shortly good news for The. Brewers, uh he had a pitch,

(09:35):
count so they took him out after five innings and
then in the. Ninth, actually The Durham, bulls WHICH i
can't take seriously as a team after the, movie you
want to do WHAT i, mean they should have done
a fictitious name in that, movie BECAUSE i, MEAN i keep,
expecting what's the guy's name of wall that comes? Out does? It,
okay we'll get the. Situation we're gonna get some silverware

(09:56):
for the. Weddings we're gonna get at. That get the
heck's off your. Back we're dealing with a lot of
stuff out. Here. Yeah but and then for those of
you that are In tampa listening On Impact, radio you
have a first basement and a catcher coming very. Soon
Tres's Trace berrera is a terrific hitting catcher And Bob

(10:17):
seymour is a good fielding and great hitting first. Basement
so the future is bright for those two. Teams but
there was like zero. Humidity it was sixty eight degrees
with a gentle cool. BREEZE i, mean the only thing
that ruined the whole thing was we have a baseball
field that in the outfield was the most beautiful view
of our entire skyline until somebody, decided let's build housing

(10:39):
that goes from center field to left field and blocks
the entire. View but it was absolutely a delightful weekend between, red,
scandalous sixtieth sixty, first sixty. Second who the heck, knows
we're not. Counting for all we know he is On
Social security right. NOW i may have felt eighty, next

(11:00):
and you might have, felt, HEY i can tell you
the guy can make some pulled, pork, though can't. He
let me tell you he did really well with the pulled.
Pork let me tell you, something that, pork that pig
was happy to give his life up for. That, see
nothing bothers me more than when somebody ruins a piece of.
Meat and nothing died for you to. Ruin it's that
pig was. Honored his buttmo let me tell you. Something

(11:21):
his butt was. Honored flags were an app. Staff that
pulled pork was so. Good all, Right SO i hope,
you we trust you all had a great, Weekend and
here we go in another. Week DID i mention this

MIND i believe IT'S Abc Washington. Post this would be
like my son taking a picture of. You this is
the most unflattering view of the. President but they disapprove

(17:03):
of his handling of the, tariffs and also the poll
reveals a significant drop in the president's. Popularity, meanwhile a
recreational ferry Crashing, Clearwater, florida responsible for one death and multiple.
Injuries in THE us And iran are set to hold
a secondary round of nuclear talks after a pretty productive
round this. Weekend that and more As Your Morning show

(17:25):
continues later in the, Week Christy brinkley later in the,
Morning Mike hahn IS aoc what she appears to be
a front runner for. President she's got an awful lot of.
Money what does she plan to do with? It run for,
president run For? Senate she appears to be the heir
apparent To Bernie sanders and his. Coalition Should republicans FEAR aoc.

(17:48):
Strategist mike han will join us next, hour and Then Chris,
walker our Regular republican, contributor will join us in the
seven o'clock. Hour we're going to discuss a little bit
about if it's time For President trump to pivot off
tariff and uncertainty and get the economy numbers to look
a little bit more like the immigration, numbers and what
do they both look. Like, Well i'm glad you're joining.

(18:09):
US i loved In men In. Black how when they
needed to know what was really urgently, happening they didn't
pick up A washington poster Or New York. Times, no
they went and got The. Globe what were all Those
nobody even makes those, anymore do? They that's the one

(18:29):
thing in PAPER i think would. Sell there was National
Inquirer globe or those ones that were always, popular and
they'd have aliens on the. Cover and of course the
notion in the movie, was, well this is the real.
News while they're giving you the news that you think is,
news this is the real. News and that's kind of
HOW i feel WHEN i do my top three stories
of the, day because there is the, news the, conclave

(18:51):
The Derby, field polling on the, president nuke. Talks but
these are the, things the things that no one's talking,
about that everyone should be talking. About so we start
with a poll of, plenty if you, will and EVEN
i guess food for, thought even after all of the negative.
News but AGAIN i put an asterisk by. This this

(19:15):
is Where red AND I i think are a little.
DIFFERENT i think journalism is. DEAD i don't think anybody's
watching or reading the mainstream. Media David's anadi disagrees with.
Me he thinks there's remnants of. It but there's been
a lot of negative news and narrative from the left
towards the, president especially on immigration the. Economy because if you're,

(19:39):
right the truth of the matter is, well then the
narrative from the left is working on the, economy but
not working on, immigration or you could, say even after
all the negative news we've had a judge, arrested overwhelming
The american people are behind. Them the president has won on.
Immigration now what's your second win going to? Be it

(20:03):
needed to be the? Economy is it going to? Be
and then your third win was going to be something
on the foreign policy, front either in The Middle east
or With russia And. Ukraine it's just that. Simple, Now
i'm not talking about statesman leader our, time all, time
just politically staring down the barrel of a midterm election
which will really begin in less than a, year and

(20:27):
then an open presidential, election presumably in twenty twenty. Eight
so what are we up? Against, well it's time to
get on with the. Economy let's go through the numbers.
First While republicans And democrats are almost equally trusted by
voters on economic, issues immigration remains a big advantage for THE.

(20:48):
Gop Latest rasmus poll shows fifty percent of LIKELY us.
Voters this isn't Just, republicans fifty percent of ALL us
likely voters Trust republicans more to handle the immigrant immigration. Issue,
Frankly i'm surprised it's not even, higher but you'll see
why thirty nine percent Trust democrats and eleven percent are. Undecided,

(21:11):
listen we always say who would we like to talk
to on the phone right? NOW i would love to
talk to those eleven. Percent they can't figure it out
after four years of an open, spicket an open border
under a fraudulent presidency just handing them housing and money and,
healthcare bankrupting, states flooding our nation with, criminals and then

(21:39):
the spicket being turned, off first at the border and
now with justice and, deportation who's the eleven percent that
can't figure? OUT i can figure out the thirty nine
percent that Trust, democrats because there's a lot Of democrats
that will just partisanally choose. Themselves but who's the Eleven
they can't see how The democrats handle the border and
then How Donald trump handled the border and make their

(22:02):
mind up unless some there's a perceived difference Between Donald
trump And, republicans and quite, frankly there should. BE i,
mean you can't compare How GEORGE. W bush handled the
border to How Donald trump has handled the, border can?

Speaker 7 (22:20):
You?

Speaker 1 (22:24):
So not knowing what's driving these answers and just using the,
answers it's a fifty to thirty nine advantage for The
republicans on the. Border forty five percent of voters Trust
republicans more to handle the. Economy that's obviously five points below.
Immigration so these are two hills that have to be
conquered before the. Midterms one is and one. Isn't forty

(22:48):
five percent of the voter's Trust republicans to handle the,
economy forty three percent trust The. Democrats there's some wiggle
room there for The. Democrats, Now obviously partisan affiliation matters
a lot on this. Quest republican voters eighty four percent
trust their own party on both the economy and. Immigration
you won that hill on your amongst. Yourselves but The

(23:09):
democrats can say the same. Thing they're more inclined to
say eighty five percent and seventy five percent their party
notice on. Immigration Though republicans Trust republicans on immigration at
eighty four, Percent democrats Trust democrats on immigration at seventy five,
percent a nine point differential among voters non, affiliated which

(23:31):
is the tie. Breaker, right this is where The republicans
have pulled. Away they're trusted more Than democrats on immigration
by a seventeen point, margin forty seven to thirty. Percent
now the margin on the economy among independents much, closer
forty one percent Trusting republicans, more thirty two percent Trusting democrats. More,

(23:55):
now that's still a nine point advantage even on the
economy among. Independents, translation there's a proclivity For Donald trump
and The republicans to now conquer the economy as they
did immigration and set themselves up. Wonderfully for a long
time gender, gap it just really wasn't much to speak.

(24:16):
Of republicans have just a two point advantage Over democrats
on the economy with men forty five to forty three,
percent a one point margin among women forty four to
forty three. Percent on, immigration it's just wide OPEN gop
more than a seventeen point margin with. Men with women,
Voters republicans are trusted more by five, points forty six

(24:36):
to forty. One what's the bottom line of this whole
poll of plenty on immigration that THE gop enjoys double
digit margins in every racial category except black, voters who
Trust democrats more at twenty five or sixty five to
twenty five percent on the issue of the, economy but
by and, large you have conquered the immigration. Hill you

(24:57):
promise to secure the, border and you've. Done it was
out of. Control now it's completely under. Control and as
far as solving the damage that was done through deportation and,
justice it's. Perceived now it's time where you've got to
just a slight edge on the economy to fix that
and finish. That, now how do you do? THAT i
think it's you, know this is strictly a political. View,

(25:21):
POLITICALLY i pivot from the tariff. Uncertainty take whatever victories
you have and sell them and get and get that
uncertainty out of the, way and then you get On
congress to get the tax cuts. Done and then you
let that himmer for about a year and a half
with job, reports with inflation, falling cost of living coming,

(25:41):
down and The american people will respond perceptually just in
time for the midterm. ELECTIONS i think that's a huge.
Story so rast me some like so many polls show
when it comes to the, border the president has won
and The american people are behind him and they perceive
him as the, reason maybe Not, republicans but definitely. Him

(26:05):
when it comes to the, economy it's a coin toss right,
Now so how do you get it to come up.
HEADS i think you pivot from tariffs politically politically only
and start and get these tax cuts done Overwhelming my
other favorite, STORY i, mean irony is only everything. Right

(26:28):
first of, ALL i just love That Christy nome is so,
striking an accomplished a, governor a successful governor now Over Homeland.
Security if she's at the, border she's in kevlar with a,
rifle or she's out a horse in her ranch. Clothes
but when she's IN dc at, dinner she's got a

(26:50):
nice expensive clutch purse and three thousand dollars cash rolled
up and rubber. Banded so she's at dinner In, washington you,
see and somebody steals her purse with three Grand guess
what turns out to. Be we've had two arrests and
both one we don't know the name, yet but the
presumption is both are. Illegals two people were arrested this

(27:11):
weekend in connection with The Easter sunday theft Of Homeland
Security Secretary christy domes. Purse the first suspect was arrested
in the nation's capital On, saturday according TO Us Secret.
Service nomes Said sunday that the man was a illegal
in the. Country she called the suspect a career, criminal

(27:31):
did not specify any more details about, him but we.
Can Mario Bustamande, livia forty nine years, old arrested in
charge with two counts of, robbery also faces additional charges
for offenses being investigated by The United States Secret. Service matt,
mcool The Secret Service agent in charge at The Washington

(27:52):
field office at the investigation revealed alleged criminal, activity including
potential device and credit card, fraud but the incidents had
no protective nexus To GNOME's. Position they were just. Stealing
they didn't know who they were stealing, from so there
was no motive mixed into. That the second one we

(28:12):
don't know hasn't been identified, yet but there's a second
suspect involved as. Well but what are the odds of.
That The Homeland Security director who's been kind of overseeing
along with our borders are the securing of our border
and the removal and the deportation of criminal illegal, immigrants
gets her personal In, washington D. C and who gets arrested.

(28:35):
Illegals the other big stories THE fbi judge In wisconsin
being arrested for. OBSTRUCTION i, mean these cases are just.
Breathtaking i've lived through MORAL i, mean we replaced absolute

(29:06):
right and wrong and absolute truth with moral. Relativism and
if you're going to roll the dice with, eternity you'll
roll the dice with legal releism. Relativism and that's exactly what's.
Happening Here's Attorney General Pam bondi talking about this. Around,
yeah and to.

Speaker 11 (29:20):
Set the stage for you And, sandra this was truly.
Horrific this guy was in court being prosecuted by a
state prosecutor for domestic violence. Battery he had beat up two,
people a guy and a.

Speaker 1 (29:33):
Girl beat the guy.

Speaker 11 (29:34):
The hit guy thirty, times knocked him to the, ground choked,
him beat up a woman so badly they both had to.

Speaker 1 (29:40):
Go to the.

Speaker 11 (29:40):
Hospital And, john you, know it's so rare for victims.
