Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hi, It's Michael. Your morning show airs live five to
eight am Central, six to nine Eastern in great cities
like Memphis, Tennessee, Telsa, Oklahoma, Sacramento, California. We'd love to
be a part of your morning routine, but we're happier
here now. Enjoy the podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
Two three, starting your morning off right.
Speaker 1 (00:18):
A new way of talk, a new way of understanding,
because we're in this together.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
This is your Morning Show with Michae O'Dell Tarna.
Speaker 1 (00:30):
Thank good morning, especially to my mom's out there listening.
Thank you so much for all of the sacrifices and
raising our children and future citizens. We honor you every day,
but especially on this Mother's Day weekend. It's always interesting
heading into a Mother's Day weekend because I have my
mom still, and I thank God for that. I keep
(00:51):
saving her life, which I know she's mad at me
for doing. But we've beaten every cancer they can throw
at us, and cancer's row me of her voice, but
we still crack up and laugh and play cards and talk,
and she's still a great gift. And then my wife
was the mother of my children, and so you have both.
And you know, I often try to think of what
(01:12):
to get them, and I find my time sharing my
heart and words with them is what's most meaningful. But
obviously I'm off because this just came in from the
home office. On what my wife wants for Mother's Day,
I would like a day in a dark, padded room
for Andrea. I love how my older friends are like, no,
(01:33):
you really need to prepare for being empty nest. It's hard.
It's going to break your heart. It's really tough. It's hard.
People always say we'd give anything for an empty nest,
even for an afternoon, just one empty nest for a day,
even Also, today is a special day. That's Nicholas del
(01:58):
Giorno nineteen years old. Today my son. Then tomorrow, Hey
eighty seven is my father's birthday, and then Sunday is
Mother's Day. It's a busy, busy weekend and it all
kicks off right now with Friday with forty seven the game.
(02:23):
He's the one we all say, heil to mister President.
Good morning.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
World, Good morning pizza boy. It's been one heck of
a week, you know. We started off on Monday with
We started off on Monday with Cinco de Mayo, which
I call Sinco di Porto, right all the bad people
are getting out. We're getting them the hell out of
our country. And so we say, is now trenday adios
or you look at it. They could also be ten
(02:50):
day Alcatraz because we're reopening that. You know, it's a
beautiful prison. It's named after me. They pull it the rock,
so it's time it starts acting like it. So we'll
look at very good. You know, it's been a tremendous week.
I can tell you that.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
Well. First things first, it turns out the bomber that
was apprehended before anyone was harmed at Rio Dejoniro turns
out to be someone you deported a month ago. I
don't know how many members of the Democrat Party are
going to be visiting Rio Deshonio to try to come
to his support, but that didn't play out well for
their narrative. And then Alcatraz, you know, I'm kind of
(03:25):
for it, except it is one of my favorite places
to visit and I still need to bring my son.
But other than that, not a bad idea.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
Well, we'll still let you visit there, you know, we'll
still let you visit one of the greatest things. We
have A fantastic idea everybody wants to bring Marilyn Man, right,
Kilmar Abrago Garcia, who's a man. He's a'm bad imre right,
he's a bad guy. He is going to come back
into the United States and be the first inmate in
Alcatraz as long as El Salvador pays for it. I
(03:58):
just love as El Salvador and you can bring your
son and you could look at him like an exhibit
at the zoo, right, you could do that. Maybe that's
what he wants to do, right, Maybe that's what they want.
He says, Oh, sorry. They said to me on Monday, right,
singo deporto. They said to me, signor what are we
going to do? Right? And I said, we're going to
reopen this beautiful president. It's going to be great. So
(04:20):
we're very excited about it.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
All right. So I was very interested in the meeting
with the Prime minister from Canada. Obviously you know you
didn't like Trudeau. Then the conversation turned to them being
a fifty first date. He kind of used that to
rally the votes and win, and he's been talking real
tough abroad. Then he gets in the Oval office and
then the tone kind of change. The problem is yours
(04:42):
didn't kind of rough on him. My tone will never change.
My tone will never change.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
You know why, because I'm a tough guy. I'm a
storm day and by the way, i'm a very smart guy.
But when you look at the new Prime Minister of Canada,
you know she is just like her predecessor. They're both
people who sit when they know she no, no, this
is a she. Right. You look at the way he's acting,
what she's acting. You look at it. Right. I called
(05:09):
the last Prime minister Queen Justine Trudeaux because that's what
she was. And this one's little princess, right, This is
a princess who's now leading Canada. Or she thinks she's
a princess, but she's actually not. So she was very
scary or scared. She wasn't scary, but she was very scared.
And we got to look very well. By the way,
we're gonna have a beautiful trade agreement with Canada, but
(05:32):
we got to look very well. Well. I got along
very well. You know, she didn't like me very much,
but I got along very well with her. And you
look at what they're doing Canada. You know they need
us more than we need them. They need us a
hell of a lot more than we need them, and
we'll see what happens. You know, Parney said no fifty
first state, I said, never say never. You never know
(05:53):
what's gonna happen. So you never know what's gonna happen.
Worst case scenario, right, worst case We're going to make
hockey on national sports and they're going to be very
upset about it, you know, because American teams keep winning
the Stanley Cup. Canadian teams don't win the Stanley Cup. Well,
they don't win anymore all the time.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
Toronto's alive and well, so hang out on that thought.
I liked when Carneie basically was winding up and talking about,
you know how great it is we make cars together,
and then you turned right around and said, we don't
want to buy your cars. We want to make our own.
We don't want your steel, we want to make our own.
It was it was quite. The moment has to be uncomfortable.
(06:32):
I mean, you're you're being you know you, and you're
keeping the same course. But people expect you to change
your tune when someone's in the room with you, and
it just simply doesn't happen.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
That's never going to happen. Right, you know they say
they want They said, we want their cars. Why we
want a car made in Canada? Right? What are you
making your cars out of? It? Canada is in aprile syrup?
What the hell is going on? Right? You look at it.
We don't need their cars and we don't need this steal.
We have to this. We have the greatest cause. I
get a lot fantastic with maple syrup. Bobby, I call
(07:05):
him Bobby. I said to me, sir, you don't want
to have too much maple syrup. There's a lot of sugar.
You don't want to do with that. You don't want
to deal with it. I said, okay, we don't want
to do it. So we do tariffs on maple syrup instead,
and we lower We lower it, right, we lower everything.
I have the lowest eight one c by the way,
without jaradiance, without all that crazy stuff. I have the
(07:25):
greatest numbers, the greatest markers. Everything's great. I have energy,
I have everything else. I you know, it's incredible. I
have this beautiful head of hair. It acts like a
solar panel. The sun hits it, I get all charged up.
It's a beautiful thing. So We're doing well, is the point. Right,
We're doing very well. We're getting along with everybody. We
have a new trade deal with the United Kingdom, right,
(07:48):
so we're doing very well.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
I can tell you that Friday with forty seven, you know,
speaking of your energy, No energy. Joe was on the BBC,
and there's talk that maybe you'll be releasing that her
interview that we weren't allowed to hear.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
Well, you look at that interview and you hear the
tips and you hear what's going on. It's really horrible.
President Autopen, right, I think the pen could probably communicate
better than Brook and Joe. You look at the circle
back girl, right, you know that Jensaki she acted like
crook and Joe got them and Joe tonight she said
I never saw anything until I saw it. How well
(08:23):
is that possible? We also he talked about Harry Leggs.
He talked about he was falling down all over the place.
Corn Pop was a bad guy, rather a bad dude,
and we deported Corntop by the way, we're getting him out.
Turns out he was a member of MS thirteen. They
called him corn Poppy and we got him the hell out.
He's gone and we did sell because he was a
(08:46):
bad guy, even Crook and Joe said he was a
bad guy. So we'll release the tapes maybe because it's
a complete and total mess. It's a bigger mess than
Stacy Abrams after White Castle and that's how Messa you
know that.
Speaker 1 (09:03):
Don't give me that white Castle. I don't need that
visual all right. First, you renamed the Golf of Mexico, which,
by the way, you'd be very proud. I was following
my daughter who was in Florida on three point sixty
and it said she's she said on the beach at
the Gulf of America. See he even got it right now,
maybe even get rid of golf, the Persian golf and
(09:23):
call it the Arabian golf. Is that a possibility.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
Well, we're going to do it because you know, we
have a lot of respect to the Arab countries that
are in the Middle East, and we want to you know,
whiz Persia. Persia's gone right now. Persia had a very
very strong military back in a long time ago. You
look at Jersey. So I got along well with h
but I got along better with Leonidis, right, I got
(09:49):
a little better Leonidas and Sparta the three hundred, and
I gave a beautiful speach. I said, you're going to
fight like hell, and they won. You know that they
won it more.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
I should have cheated off you in history. You're very
good at history.
Speaker 2 (10:03):
Well, I got a little wilso very well with King Agamemnon.
You know who that was. He fought in Troy. And
if I was your president, Achilles never would have died,
right if I was your president. But that's what happened.
But it was a tremendous war, you know, tremendous. We
did very well, but the Persians were defeated. Why the
other they saw of a golf right, so that's no
(10:25):
longer than golf of Persis. The goulf Rapia is a
much better name.
Speaker 1 (10:29):
Also, this week, you dared Gavin Newsom to run for president,
as you made clear you will not seek a third term.
As you made clear. What I have kind of connected,
Jasmine Crockett is the new AOC, Because AOC is going
to run for president. She's going to take the role
of AOC, and you call her no I Q Crockett.
Gavin Newsom, you really think that's our best one to beat?
Speaker 2 (10:52):
Well, you look at him he's been he's been working
on us for a long time, and I think he's
going to run for president. He wants to run for president.
He has you know, you look at his hair, right,
and he's got so much gel. I don't put gel
in my head. They call it product. I don't do that.
My hair is naturally perfect, right, you get naturally perfect.
But he puts a lot. Well, I don't have to
(11:13):
get along with product because I don't need to use it.
But if I had to use it, I'll get along
very well with it. Right, Only American made by the way.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
Tallow.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
We love Tallow. But if you look at Newsom, you
look at AOC and that's a stupid person. You look
at crazy Bernie, he's fighting the oligarchy from a private
check that's worth more than his entire congressional salary.
Speaker 1 (11:35):
What a loser.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
He's a crazy person. You look at Newsom, he's a
stupid and crazy guy. His whole state burned down. But
he wants to run the president. He's gonna run, but
he's gonna lose like nobody's ever seen it more. If
he gets to the primary, he's gonna lose so bad.
But if he doesn't he might lose in the primary,
so we dare him to run. We dare him to run,
and we'll see what happens. But I think it's gonna
(11:56):
be a very bad day.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
Fan the chief. He's the one we all say hail to.
Thank you so much for your time, mister President.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
Gotta less you, pizza boy, You're doing very well. Have
a fantastic weekend.
Speaker 1 (12:08):
When he dropped the talo that I was actually thinking
about Whitecastle today, A couple, you know, because my A
one C came down. So I'm thinking, you know, a
couple of double cheeseburgers and how I got that Stacy
Abrams image. By the way, I've had some listeners want
me to make this crystal clear. That is not really
(12:29):
Donald Trump. That is the very talented Sean Faroche. He
is so funny. He's got to kill me one day.
I'm telling you, I ache by the time that's over,
it's your morning show with Michael del Chino. And that
was the words they were all waiting for. Chicago born
Cardinal Roberto Francis prevost the new pope two days, four votes,
(12:55):
and the long shot came through, choosing the name Pope Leo.
The fourteen, the first ever American pope in the two
thousand year history of the Catholic Church made a cardinal
by Pope Francis, expected to be similar in spirit and nature,
but a little tighter in doctrine. Came out informal attire,
(13:18):
so perhaps maybe a more formal pope and a lot
alluding to a quieter pope, at least on the divisive
political issues. President Trump reacted from the White House lawn,
congratulating the first American born pope and expressing his excitement
to meet him. He spoke to reporters outside the White House.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
Already spoken to us, I won't see what happens, but again,
to have the Pop Trump to the United States of America,
that's a great honor. That's a great.
Speaker 1 (13:43):
Honor, yeaded. He looks forward to meeting Pope Leo the fourteenth.
Trump went on to say that it will be a
very meaningful moment. I'm Mark Mayfield. First Lady Malanya Trump
says the birth of a child is a life changing
event and makes women invincible. She's encouraging mothers to prioritize
their well being.
Speaker 4 (13:59):
The First Lady made remarks during her public appearance for
a Mother's Day reception at the White House aimed at
recognizing military moms. She reflected on the birth of her son,
Baron and noted the unimaginable, unpredictable concerns and trials that
she's experienced in motherhood. The First Lady previously hosted similar
Mother's Day events throughout her husband's first term in office.
Speaker 1 (14:18):
I'm Misa Taylor. President Trump is tapping Fox News host
Janine Piro as the interim US attorney for Washington DC.
Speaker 5 (14:26):
Piro is a former judge and district attorney in New
York Westchester County. Trump made the announcement in a post
on True Social on Thursday, after replacing Ed Martins's nominee.
Speaker 1 (14:38):
Earlier in the day.
Speaker 5 (14:40):
Martin had struggled to get the supporting needed to be confirmed.
Pierro is a longtime ally of Trump and had been
among those pushing voting conspiracy theories following his twenty twenty
election loss.
Speaker 1 (14:54):
I'm Sarah Lee Kessler. Well, there was a lot of
surprises after the White smoke. I mean, fourth vote. Second,
it's got to be one of the top five favorites
to come through that quickly. Then you find out it
wasn't then the one thing you thought not possible, an
American pope, a first ever. Then you find out he's
from Chicago, so quickly the question arises, is he a
(15:17):
Cubs fan or a White Sox fan. His brother cleared
it up.
Speaker 6 (15:21):
John Prevost says his younger brother was always a fan
of the South Siders. After news broke Thursday that Chicago's
Robert Prevost had indeed been elected pope, the Cubs quickly
claimed him with a message on the Wrigley Field marquee
that read He's a Cubs fan. The White Sox responded
saying family knows best. They also say a White Sox
(15:42):
jersey with the Pope's name and a cap are already
headed to the Vatican.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
I'm Chris Krajio. Country music had one of its biggest nights,
and it was a big one for Landy Wilson, being
named Entertainer of the Year for the second year in
a row at the Academy of Country Music Awards. Also
took top honors at the sixth st at ACM Awards
held last night in Texas. She was also Female Artist
of the Year and had Album of the Year for
the album Worldwin. This Is Steve the Wrestler, a refugee
(16:12):
from the People's Republic of Minnesota. And my Morning show
is Your Morning Show with Michael del Join on.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
HI.
Speaker 1 (16:25):
It's Michael. Your Morning Show can be heard live weekday
mornings five to eight am, six to nine am Eastern
in great cities like Tampa, Florida, Youngstown, Ohio, and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
We'd love to join you on the Drive to work live,
but we're glad you're here now enjoyed the podcast. Next week,
Dave Barry will join us. Also Lena Hall, who I'm
a big fan of. If you haven't seen Your Friends
(16:46):
and Neighbors yet on Apple what a great series. And
she plays John Hall's troubled sister and she sings, and
boy can she sing. You'll get a chance to meet
to Lena Hall next week. That's gonna be a tough
choice for Spotlight Interview with the Week rely is we
have to flip the coins who comes out on top.
But first things first, I got my son's birthday today,
(17:06):
my dad's birthday tomorrow, Mother's Day Sunday. Oh, and Sounds
of the Day Now.
Speaker 2 (17:14):
People who majored in online attract with a minor and
puberty block.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
They were going to a little bit.
Speaker 7 (17:21):
Any of you in the media clearly missed the art
of the deal.
Speaker 1 (17:25):
It's going to work out, all right. So you know,
I had my choices. I was rooting for Pizza Bala,
for Pope. I thought maybe Peter the Roman might come
away the top seed. Maybe we'd get an Asian pope,
maybe we get an African pope. I didn't know when.
I really didn't expect the Pope the White Smoke to
be till today. I really didn't now. Yesterday I said
(17:48):
about a thirty percent chance, today seventy percent chance. On Friday,
the fact that in day two vote for White Smoke appeared,
I think we were all expecting it to be one
of the top five favored cardinals, because if you're gonna
if it's gonna be somebody with like a one percent
chance to win or what ended up odds wise to
(18:10):
be sixty six to one, that's the kind of like
a John Paul the second vote twelve thirteen fourteen in
to go from one percent to consensus. So I think
everybody was rightly expecting one of the favorites, and boy
were they shocked when it was the first ever American
(18:35):
in two thousand year history of the Catholic Church, let
alone his brother in Florida.
Speaker 3 (18:41):
I was lying in bed. My wife called and said,
white smoke, White smoke. So I turned the TV on
watched the whites Man. It took him almost an hour
till late and when the cardinal came out and we're
all waiting and he goes and he mentioned Roberto, I
knew right away, and I just it's like if I
had not been in bed standing up, might have collapsed,
because it's like totally unexpected.
Speaker 2 (19:03):
You know.
Speaker 3 (19:03):
It's like they said the first American pope, that was
a strike against him. He's young, two strikes, but he's
got a lot of worldwide experience in his previous poets.
So when we were little kids, we used to I
used to raise cane with my two younger brothers all
the time. But he was always the holy One and
(19:24):
I as we used.
Speaker 1 (19:26):
To tease him, you're going to be pope someday. You're
too holy? What do you want to be?
Speaker 3 (19:30):
And you know, joking, ribbing, and when he went into
the seminary, it's like, oh wow, okay. And then a
couple of years ago when the Pope made him a cardinal.
Speaker 1 (19:41):
It's like this could happen. Not just could happen, it happened.
I love kicking off the sound of the day with
this because I just can't imagine. You know, we're all
going to have to get used to this. We got
a pope that knows who the White Sox are. Let
alone grew up a White Sox fan. Let alone probably
(20:01):
does prefer deep dish pizza. You know what I mean,
just all of this stuff. The real question to be
answered is what will it mean for Catholicism in America
that is reeling right now to have an American pope.
What kind of pope? Will he be well appointed by Francis.
Everybody's expecting this pope to be progressive, and I think doctrinely,
(20:25):
there's a lot up in the air, and there's some
calls that we're not We're not choosing to err because
of their negativity. It's I'm not a Catholic, so it's
not for me to speak Number one. Number two, you
don't want to take with all this unknown too strong
of a stance, because then they can turn around like
Francis and shock you in real time. I loved that
(20:49):
Francis grabbed his own luggage and walked out of the
assisting chapel the way he entered it, like a cardinal
with his own luggage. He didn't choose to go to
the normal, traditional, fancy pope quarters. He went to a
more humble place. So I love the humility I saw.
Then later, you know, things politically went a little bit left.
(21:12):
And my hope for the Catholic Church is the best
way for me to say it was that you would
find somebody of his humility, his personableness, approachableness and love,
but maybe tighten up a little bit doctrinately. And I
think that's what you got, and that's what you got
on purpose. I do think there's something to be said
(21:32):
for his math background and his management background that tells
me addressing some of the financial issues of the Catholic
Church is going to be a big part of his papacy.
I also think we know right off the bat that
this is not a pope that's going to be for
ordaining women as deacons. It's not going to be a
(21:53):
pope that's going to do much for the lgbt's community.
But we'll continue in the direction of Francis, maybe on
global warming and maybe on you Christopher for those that
have been through a divorce. So you know, he came
out in formal dress, which was different than Francis, so
I think he wants to return a little formality. Spoke
(22:13):
in Italian and Spanish and not English, and a lot
of people read something into that anticipated he was a
Cubs fan turned out to be a Sox fan. And
I think the most astute people tell you that the
feeling is it's time for a more christ centered, quiet pope.
In other words, don't take the bait and some of
these dibissive worldwide political issues, but keep things focused eternally
(22:37):
and on Christ. And so far he's off to a
great start with that. But isn't that thrill to just here?
Speaker 2 (22:41):
Is?
Speaker 1 (22:42):
How would you like to be your brother's the pope?
I mean, come on, that's crazy, right, you gotta be?
You know, obviously, if you guys are competitive, your brother
pet he beat you. He won, you can't. But they
always called him the Holy One and he became Pope
Joe Biden. Why is he all of a sudden making appearances.
(23:02):
I think because the her tapes are going to be released,
and I think because he's being done in mostly by
Democrats writing tell all books. This guy was never president.
He was seeing al all along, so to try to
get out in front of it. You know, looking back,
we waited sixty four days for our first news conference.
I don't think there was but one or two where
(23:22):
cameras were allowed into a cabinet meeting, and I think
in one of the two cases, Jill was at the
head of the table. You know. So there's a lot
of people wonder was Joe Biden more behind all of this?
Because I used to say from the beginning, I blame Jill,
and I stood by it. From this standpoint, I'm around elderly,
I have a mother in a nursing home, I have
(23:44):
another mother in memory care. I know what dementia looks like.
This man is not well, and to parade him around
as president, never mind if it's it's a Podesta or
clan or whoever behind the scenes was orchestrating all this.
I blame Jill for not protecting his dignity as his wife.
(24:11):
But then as the presidency went on, she started looking
a little too ambitious. Everybody started smelling a rat. Is
she enjoying the power? Is she wanting to continue the power. Well,
isn't it funny they parade out Joe Biden on the
view who cares? Nobody watches, but they parade out Joe
(24:33):
and guess who's by his side, Jill, you know, the
cocoon protector that she denies. And you can listen for
yourself and tell me if you think the president is
cognitively all there. I hope you're not driving right.
Speaker 7 (24:54):
Now as their president. Since you left office, there have
been a number of books that have come out, deeply
sourced democratic sources that claim in your final year there
was a dramatic decline in your cognitive abilities in the
final year of your presidency.
Speaker 1 (25:08):
What is your response to these allegations?
Speaker 7 (25:11):
Are these sources wrong?
Speaker 8 (25:12):
They are wrong. There's nothing to sustain that number one.
Number two, you know, think of what we were left for.
We left for the circumstance where we had an insurrection.
I started nonsense of civil war. We had a circumstance
where we were in a position that we.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
By the way, can you imagine comparing January sixth of
the Civil War? Don't even get me started, and I
won't chime in, but.
Speaker 8 (25:44):
Well, in the pandemic because of the incomponents of the
last outfit end up over a million people dying, million
people dying. And we're also in a situation where we
found ourselves unable to deal with a lot of just
basic issues. And I won't go into it in interesting time.
(26:05):
And so we went to work and we got it done.
And you know, one of the things that that well.
Speaker 9 (26:13):
Well, and Alsa, you know, one of the things I think.
Speaker 1 (26:16):
Is by the way, that's him completely losing his train
of thought, thought, unable to communicate. And guess who chimes
in to bail him out. The reason she's sitting next
to him, Jill Biden. Some stinks to high heaven with
this one.
Speaker 9 (26:27):
One of the things that that well, I'm well, and Alissa,
you know, one of the things I think is that
the people who wrote those books were not in the
White House with us, and they didn't see how hard
Joe worked every single with us.
Speaker 1 (26:46):
Emphasis.
Speaker 5 (26:47):
Why do you think the vice president lost?
Speaker 1 (26:49):
And were you surprised?
Speaker 8 (26:53):
I wasn't surprised, Not because I didn't think the vice
president most qualified person to be president. She is, she's
qualified to be president station of America. But I was surprised.
I wasn't surprised because they went the root of the sexishirt,
all the whole roote. I mean, this is a woman,
she's this's I mean it.
Speaker 1 (27:13):
Really, I've never.
Speaker 8 (27:14):
Seen quite as successful and a consistent campaign undercutting the
notion that a woman couldn't lead the country and a
woman of mixed race.
Speaker 1 (27:25):
Nobody ever, just the accusers made it about race. Just
the accusers made it about being a female. That was
never what it was about. She was the first candidate
gone in twenty twenty for attacking that old man for
being a racist. She was a terrible candidate. I don't
(27:48):
know how much you know. Hillary and her both lost.
They were both flawed candidates and in both cases their
opponent was Donald Trump. And in both cases Donald Trump
won because they were bad candidates, a failed ideology, failed worldview,
and failed policy view that ran terrible campaigns. How much
(28:10):
more of Joe do we have to endure? Can't we
get this man to a nursing home yet? The internal
war I can't quite get to it, and he starts
using bad words. But just to show you that that
war is alive and well within the Democrat Party, this
is James Carvell addressing elan Omar.
Speaker 10 (28:31):
We need to skiss him, and maybe we need to
skise him with the so far progressive laft.
Speaker 1 (28:38):
I want to read something.
Speaker 10 (28:41):
Our country should be more fearful of white men because
they're causing most of the deaths was in this country?
Speaker 1 (28:47):
Ilian omar, lady, why don't.
Speaker 10 (28:49):
You just get out the Democratic Party honestly start your
own movement?
Speaker 1 (28:54):
All right, let's do a simple man. Well, they did
start a moving and their movement is to destroy your
party and take it over like a fair site. He
basically does the math. It's a long math with some
bad words in it, but he basically says, you're speaking
ill of thirty three percent of the deciding votes in
an election. In other words, even if it's not statistically true,
but even if it was true, shut up. I can
(29:17):
only imagine how he feels about Jasmin Crocketts Kunds.
Speaker 11 (29:19):
Like actually, it's actually actually, I mean, I'm not gonna
say that like a left leaning person cannot be violent,
because that would be like crazy to say that somebody
can't be.
Speaker 1 (29:29):
But maybe maybe y'all.
Speaker 11 (29:31):
Got the white supremacist galore, okay, like all of them.
You got the proud Boys, you got the neo Nazis,
you have people that literally should be classified as domestic
terrorists because a lot of times that is what they
are doing.
Speaker 1 (29:47):
They're engaged. If you knew her education level and if
you've watched old videos of her talking normal, I don't
know how anybody's buying this act, but it's insulting to
the intelligence of African Americans or black that's what they
prefer to be called. And if she saw the video
that I can't play for you of ANTIFA members in
Seattle harassing an elderly handicapped woman, I wonder what her
(30:11):
response to that would be. Still no leader, still no message,
still gaslighting, and still parading around Joe in the cocoon
of Jill to what do things ever changing?
Speaker 3 (30:30):
To try harder, grab the opportunity for a brief specifics lesson.
Speaker 8 (30:35):
Sure, perhaps you'd like to be alone with your deteriorating
mental condition.
Speaker 1 (30:41):
This is your morning show with Michael del Chona. You
would have fought fourth vote second day, gotta be a favorite,
but it wasn't. And after the white smoke cleared and
the new pope was introduced, it was Cardinal Roberto Francis
pre vote from the South side of Chicago by way
(31:03):
of Villanova University, taking the name Pope Leo the fourteenth,
the first ever American pope in a two thousand year
history of a church. Roy O'Neal is joining us.
Speaker 12 (31:14):
That was a surprise, certainly was and you know, we're
still trying to figure out what it all means, right,
what the meaning of the taking the name Leo the
fourteenth will mean, what his papacy will be like, how
much different will he be from Pope Francis, his predecessor.
Speaker 1 (31:31):
Does it matter that he's a white Sox fan and
not a cubsman? Yes, to me a lot, but that's
another story. Obviously appointed cardinal by Pope Francis, in line
with Pope Francis. I love the way you said it
in the second hour, because here was my prayer for Catholics,
and I'm a part of the Christendom, even though I'm
not a Catholic, was that you would get a pope
(31:52):
like Francis. I loved how he loved people. He was approachable,
he was personable, he was humble. I think you get that,
and I think doctrinely you get a little bit and
it's not so much a centrist turn. And I think
there's evidence that that's there as much as it is.
Let's not get involved in all these political arguments. You know,
(32:16):
ask Barabus, Jesus wasn't interested in that either. Let's keep
the focus on Christ. Let's keep the focus on faith
in the church. And then the mathematician and the CEO background,
if you will, as a priest. Maybe he's there to
fix the books too, a little doge, if you will. Yeah,
that all of that could be in the mix as well.
Speaker 12 (32:35):
You know, he's relatively young as we move forward here,
so it looks like he might have a long time
as pope as well. So I'm curious to see who's
going to get that first American TV interview that's going
to go, because.
Speaker 1 (32:48):
Clearly we all want to hear more from him. Well,
he spoke in Italian, he spoke in Spanish, did not
speak in English. A lot of people read a lot
into that. He came out in the formal read unlike Francis.
So maybe, and there's been some talk from insiders that
this could be a more quiet papacy. I think all
(33:10):
that may be true and timeless.
Speaker 12 (33:13):
This morning, when he celebrated his first Mass as pope
this morning, he did speak in English. Saying saying a
few terms phrases in English and then said, look, I'm
going to talk in Italian in a minute, but first
let me address my brothers here in English. So it
was great to hear some comments from him in English
this morning before the start.
Speaker 1 (33:32):
Of his homilin. I know we're kind of done for
the week, but he chose the name Leo. Leo the
thirteenth was very an everyday, hard working man kind of
a pope, so I think it was a message of humility.
It's kind of Francis too in that sense, but Leo
the fourteenth is the name, and we have a new pope,
and for the first time it's an American. We're all
in this together. This is your Morning Show with Michael
(33:56):
open Hill, Joano
Speaker 2 (34:00):
