News Radio eleven ninety k EX in Portland, News Talk
five point fifty k FYI and Phoenix, Arizona Freedom one
oh four seven in Washington, d C. We'd love to
have you join us live in the morning, even take
us along on the drive to work, but better late
(00:21):
than never. Enjoy the podcast two three starting your morning
off right.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
A new way of talk, a new way of understanding
because we're.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
In the studied. This is your morning show with Michael
Gill Trump and your morning show Catching Table just got
a little bit of an extension. We welcome in news
Radio one oh four nine WBUV in Biloxi, Mississippi. You're
staggering out of one of the casinos right now by
the Gulf of America. Good morning, and welcome to your
(00:54):
morning show on the air and streaming live on your
iHeartRadio app. I Am Michael del Joernal Treasury Secretaries got
a Cent says the Trump administration is closing in on
a trade deal with China. The stock markets and the
futures are soaring over it. Meanwhile, the President is leaving
Monday on a four day trip to the Middle East
and he is signing an executive order before he goes
to cap prescription drugs and pharmaceutical prices. This could significantly
(01:17):
reduce the price up to eighty percent. Roy O'Neil is
our national correspondent. We've been kicking around all morning long, Rory.
Two things. One was that a spoon? Was that cocaine
with the President of France on a train? And why
on earth would we be accepting anything like an Air
(01:37):
Force one from cutter a palace in the sky. So
help us understand. I mean, I wouldn't think. I mean
there's a lot of things I think we can do
for ourselves. One of them would be the uniqueness of
Air Force one and the security and protection. So tell
me how this works, because this is one I don't get.
Speaker 3 (01:57):
Okay, We've got two Air Force ones that are over
thirty years old and the contract to deliver their replacements
is way behind schedule, and that is frustrating President Trump significantly.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
What back in February, I.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
Think he took a tour of a seven forty seven
eight series that belonged to Cutter, and apparently they're ready
to give it to him as a gift, a four
hundred million dollar gift that could be temporarily used as
Air Force one until the end of his presidency. It
could be then signed over to the Trump Presidential Library Group,
ostensibly giving President Trump control of this plane.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
Inportunity, sell it and pay for the library.
Speaker 4 (02:37):
Right.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
But these planes, you know, all things that are up
in the air all the way to space. I mean,
these are very unique planes that have to be outfitted
very specifically in securities of the highest concern. Is there
a way to do it? I guess I don't know.
Speaker 3 (02:54):
Awesome, right, possibly, you know, that's one of the things,
you know, the enhancements are delaying the two planes that
are now under construction. Look, the current Air Force one planes,
Yes they're thirty years old, but they have what you'd
call low mileage on them because they're not used that much.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
So they're perfectly good planes.
Speaker 3 (03:14):
Even President Trump's Trump Force one is seven fifty seven,
I think, is one year younger than the.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
Two Air Force ones.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
So it's not any you know, So a thirty year
old plane is not really a big deal, especially when
they're flown as little as these two. So and of
course the maintenance is better than any on the planet.
So it is you know why President Trump really feels
the need for a new plane immediately is a bit
of a head scratcher, especially considering the expense involved in
(03:41):
upgrading the gift that Cutter would give.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
And the value of I'm just gonna say in the
value of that gift that I know that you can
gift things to a president, but there are laws and
stuff that go along with that, and as well as
protocols of a four gift is simply bigger than any
we've ever had, is it?
Speaker 5 (04:00):
Well? Right?
Speaker 3 (04:01):
And when it comes from a government that now you're
into the Emolument's clause of the Constitution, and that's a
big red flag. Although Attorney General Pam Bondi, a former
lobbyist for Cutter, by the way, she has signed off
on this, saying it doesn't appear to cause any problem
so long as the plane has turned over to the
Presidential Library Commission before the end of the president's term.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
Hmm, all right, well, Ory's going to be back in
the third hour. We got another great story for you,
and that is the jury selection has been delayed now
it appears because a witness has disappeared in the Diddy trial.
More on that than the third Hour with Rory. Thanks Roy,
great reporting as always. Also Lena Hall, she plays the
sister John Ham's sister and the new hit show Your
(04:46):
Friends and Neighbors. If you haven't started binging this it
it is a graphic look at materialism, shallow materialism. And
you know, I think it's easy to dismiss if you're
not that rich, but trust me, all of us can
take our eyes off the ball and what is important.
(05:08):
We just do it at a different level. And so
I actually think this is an interesting show for everybody
to ponder. It may not be wealth, wealth, wealth wealth
like they have and you know, two hundred and fifty
thousand dollars watches and three hundred thousand dollars cars and
private schools and country clubs, but it could be stretching
(05:29):
yourself into a certain neighborhood or this and that. We
off to set the priorities of our life. And I
think where this series is headed is showing you the
difference between superficial materialism and the things of life of
great value. It really is a good show. And you
know John Hammon is always is terrific. Amanda Pete stars
(05:49):
in this There is his sister, Lena Hall. I remember
looking at my wife and saying, because you know, whenever
you get these shows, first of all, it's just Netflix Prime.
They're all better than anything at the movie theater. That's
where the great writers went, That's where the great directors went,
that's where the great filmers went. That's where the great
actors and actresses are. And every now and then in
(06:12):
one of these binges and you just see somebody that
you didn't know before. Lena Hall is actually a Tony
Award winning Broadway actress. She is a phenomenal singer, but
she is terrific and this is her breakthrough role in acting.
She has a triple threat. She has a sensational, sensational
character on the show. Lena Hall will join us in
(06:34):
the third hour as well. And our audience, you never
know what they're going to grab onto. You know, if
you talk about something deep you like to think you
know that they're pondering it, they'll have a response to it.
Some do and some don't. Let's start with James and Youngstown.
James has a more rational view of taking a seven
(06:56):
forty seven from Cutter.
Speaker 6 (06:58):
The Air Force wanted consists of two seven forty seven
dash two hundreds, not one that are over thirty years old.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
They're obsolete.
Speaker 6 (07:07):
Servicing is extremely expensive, parts are hard to find, so
they were due for replacement regardless. So if Cutter wants
to give one of them, as long as we do
a security sweep through that to make sure there is
no hink panky going on, I see nothing wrong with
the deal.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
Now see that that is a typical your morning show,
very thoughtful, intelligent, reasonable listener who's following the main content
and direction of the show. And then there are others
when I make a simple reference to mister Ed like Gabe.
Speaker 5 (07:43):
Corsia.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
No one could talk to a horse, of course, the last,
of course, if you can talk, if you could talk
to anything, which it's a big room here at your
morning show, and you have to welcome all of our
special friends. No, but I mean if you could talk
to any animal like I used to. I had a chameleon,
(08:05):
eleanor that. People don't you're probably listening going you can't
love a lizard the way you love a dog or
a cat. Oh I didn't think so, either. And boy
was I blindsided when she died, because you go everywhere
with them, and I would have given anything. Two animals
that I knew i'd give anything. They have a conversation
(08:27):
with Eleanor, my chameleon, and Joey, my English bulldog who
passed away. Oh my gosh, that's thirty years ago now,
But I mean a conversation with a horse. I think
that's why I mean I brought it up because they're
bringing back Ted after Ted too. Now they're gonna do
an animation of Ted.
Speaker 2 (08:44):
I don't think the conversations you would have had with
those animals could be anything compared to the conversation you
work up in your head with these animals.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
So you don't think they would be as deep as us.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
No, no, no, I think your conversation that you make
is much talk exactly.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
Well, actually, Eleanor, did you know. People think I'm crazy,
But I used to let Eleanor drive.
Speaker 5 (09:07):
My car.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
Because Camellias their hands, you know, they have grips, and
she would grip the wheel and I take my hands
off the wheel and choo. And I've got pictures of
her and she's staring over the wheel. He got you know,
one eye on the road when I you know, in
the rearview mirror, because she can do two eyes in
two different places.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
It's like the gecko, the Geico gecko visions of that
when you start talking about well, there's a.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
Talking lizard, see's he has great substance. What makes you
think my eleanor wouldn't have? But anyway, isn't that funny
to hear our listeners? One one comes in with a
very serious analysis of the of the you know, the
aircraft itself in a reasonable fashion. And there's Gabe And
then there's Gabe driving around in Florida singing at the
top of his lungs the mister Ed theme song. All right,
(09:51):
we talked about a theme today and the theme is
kind of like the adult's table in the kid's table, uh,
for Donald Trump and his administration. Now we're starting to
see Zelenski and Putin potentially coming to a table this
week and maybe a ceasefire. The China deal called constructive.
I guess so they're gonna cut tariff levels one hundred
(10:13):
and fifteen percent for ninety days and they've got the
framework for a trade deal. That would be a huge victory.
The final American living hostage being released by Hamas and
returning home to New Jersey Eden Alexander another Trump victory slashing.
I mean, how many times you hear politicians pander about
(10:36):
prescription drugs and Republicans are just for the rich and
for the big pharma while the President is the one
that's cutting the executive order today that will cap prescription
drug and pharmaceutical prices and slash them up to eighty percent.
You cannot sell any prescription drug in the United States
for a penny more than the lowest price anywhere else
(10:58):
in the world, A very significant signing today, border secured,
dangerous people deported. What are the Democrats doing? Still no message,
still no leader, Still just nothing but opposition politics. The
problem is they're not opposing Donald Trump in many cases,
(11:19):
they're opposing common sense and the American people. So while
the President's busy securing the border and removing the threats,
what are the Democrats doing storming ice facilities, playing partisan politics.
Jasmin Crockett's talking about America's too misogynistic to elect a
(11:40):
female president, identity politics and America sucks and Americans are evil,
And you do get this overall theme and feel like
the Trump administration is the adults, and the Democrats are
acting like children. Now. There's still time for them to
get it together before the midterms, but they better start
(12:01):
moving and moving quickly because they have They have more
than lost touch with the American people. They've lost touch
with their own party and constituent. It's your Morning Show
with Michael del Churno twenty five minutes after the hour.
Thanks for waking up with your morning show. I am
Michael del dru and it is a pleasure to serve
(12:21):
you and the chef has prepared your top five stories
for you to start your breakfast no more.
Speaker 6 (12:28):
UNO.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
Treasury Secretary Scott Percent says the Trump administration is closing
in on its trade negotiations with China.
Speaker 7 (12:35):
Percent said Sunday from Switzerland. The details will be coming
on Monday. With the talks productive, Chinese goods have been
hit with tariffs as high as one hundred and forty
five percent under the Trump administration. Percent and US Trade
Representative Jamison Greer met with their Chinese counterparts in Switzerland
over this weekend, with Trump saying in a post on
truth social yesterday that an opening up of China to
(12:57):
American business is wanted for the good of both China
and the US.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
I'm Chris Karagio. Baseline tariffs I off ten percent are
likely to stay in place as the US negotiates trade
deals with other countries around the world. Tammy Trehillo has more.
Speaker 4 (13:11):
That's the word from Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnik, who tells
CNN State of the Union that foreign companies and countries,
and not Americans, will bear the burden.
Speaker 8 (13:20):
We do expect a ten percent baseline tariff to be
in place for the foreseeable future.
Speaker 1 (13:25):
But don't buy the silly.
Speaker 8 (13:27):
Arguments that the US consumer pays businesses their job is
to try to sell to the American consumer.
Speaker 4 (13:35):
Utnick says he's optimistic about US trade talks with China
and Switzerland that happened over the weekend, but didn't provide
any details. In a post on social media, President Trump
described Saturday's meeting is very good, saying there was great
progress made. I'm Tammy Trichillo.
Speaker 1 (13:49):
President Trump says the last living American hostage held by
Hamas and the Gaza is returning home to New Jersey.
Speaker 9 (13:55):
A must issue to statement Sunday saying it was releasing
Israeli an American eedon Alexander to reach a cease fire
agreement that would allow humanitarian aid to flow into Gaza.
Alexander graduated from Tenafly High.
Speaker 1 (14:10):
School in twenty twenty two.
Speaker 9 (14:12):
Joined the IDF, and was captured at his army base
when Hamas attacks Southern Israel. On October seventh, twenty twenty three,
US Special Envoyd of the Middle East, Steve Whitkoff says
he's traveling to Israel to secure the twenty one year
old's release. I'm Sarah Lee Kessler.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
Cancer rates appear to be increasing for those under the
age of fifty. Mark Mayfield's back.
Speaker 10 (14:36):
With that report, researchers at the Inational Institutes of Health
found that from twenty ten through twenty nineteen, fourteen cancer
types increased among people under age fifty, including breast and
colorectal cancer. The study appears in the journal Cancer Discovery.
Researchers did not give an explanation for the increase, but
speculated that risk factors such as increasing obesity may have
(14:57):
contributed in some cases.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
I'm Mark Nephew. Well a limited number of full size
drivable replicas of the Batman Tumbler. Now I know the
Batmobile because I saw a few episodes of Batman when
I was a kid. I've seen no Batman movies, let
alone any of Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy. But
apparently that's the vehicle in the movie, and it's different
(15:19):
than a batmobile. All right, reads a Nerd. He's shaking
his head. Yes, there are ten replicas of the Tumblr
a tank like off road vehicle. Does it look kind
of like the Tesla pickup truck that are now going
to be available for purchase? Sanctioned by Warner Brothers Discovery.
The tumblers cost nearly three million dollars and sold exclusively
(15:42):
online through Wayne Enterprises Experienced Luxury brand. Is this going
to be like when when you pass by somebody that's
like sixty four years old and they're finally driving in
the Camaro that their parents wouldn't buy him as teenagers?
Is it going to have that look the only people
that can afford that or older, and then they're driving
around in this owners of vets kind of a thing.
(16:06):
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow purchased a Tumblr last year
three million dollars for a trust got the cash.
Speaker 6 (16:15):
This is Andy Hickson, formerly of Nashville, now living in Detroit, Michigan.
Speaker 1 (16:20):
Thanks to iHeartRadio. My morning show is your Morning Show. Hi,
It's Michael. Your Morning show can be heard live on
great radio stations across the country like WYLM and w
DOV and Wilmington and Dover, Delaware, or wgst AM seven
twenty the Voice in Middle Georgia. We're going to eat
(16:41):
some blankets. News Radio six fifty k e n I, Anchorage, Alaska.
We'd love to be a part of your morning routine.
Now enjoy the podcast. Tomorrow we will visit with columnist
and legend Dave Barry out with a new memoir, Class Clown,
The Memoirs of a Professional Wise How I went seventy
seven years without growing up. Of course, he was going
(17:05):
to have a long title. It's a life long and
well lived the legend Dave Bery Tomorrow Today Lena Hall
later in the third hour. Lena plays the sister of
John Hamm in the new Apple hit series Your Friends
and Neighbors. And she is a real standout star. Now
she's already a Tony Award winner on Broadway, but this
(17:26):
is her breakout and she brings with her her recording
and singing gifting to this role. She's terrific. We'll meet
her in the third hour. All right, John Decker is
our White House correspondent. There are new developments in the
possibilities of a ceasefire with Ukraine and Russia. We've kind
of all just watched this and said, well, I don't
(17:48):
think his ambitions of redrawing the lines of the Russian
Empire are possible. He's got to know he can't win
the war, But does he want to fight another year?
If they planned to meet this week, my guess is
we can avoid another year? Or am I just being hopeful?
John Decker, good morning.
Speaker 5 (18:05):
I think you're being very helpful. There's nothing that Vladimir
Putin has said that he's followed through in terms of
his actions, and what presidents Lensky and Ukraine has said
is fine, let's talk, but while we talk, let's have
a ceasefire. And Ukraine has already agreed to that thirty
day seas fire proposal put on the table more than
two and a half months ago by the US by
(18:27):
the Trump administration of Putin has not and that's why
I think you have to take any of his promises
with a grain of salt when he makes them.
Speaker 1 (18:36):
Well, I would hope that if they sit down at
least that could be a sign of progress. But yeah,
I kind of share your concerns as well. Let's turn
quickly to the China deal. We don't have a lot
of the particulars, although the cuts could be as much
as one hundred and fifteen percent over the next ninety days.
Just what was achieved in Geneva and what details can
(18:59):
we expect today.
Speaker 5 (19:00):
What was achieved in Geneva is essentially a truce. You know,
if you want to call it a trade war, this
is a truce.
Speaker 1 (19:07):
In that trade war.
Speaker 5 (19:08):
China lowering its tariffs on US goods heading into China
significantly from one hundred and twenty five percent to ten percent.
Speaker 1 (19:17):
The US lowering its.
Speaker 5 (19:19):
Trade tariffs on Chinese products coming into the US one
hundred and forty five percent. Now they're down to thirty
five percent, so a significant reduction. I think you're going
to see this. The financial markets today.
Speaker 1 (19:31):
Might, oh, they're a good higher problem as a result
of this. Yeah, and then for you know, again, it's
a negotiation. It's a process we have kicked around, you
and I and others. What the President's ultimate endgame is
But yeah, it caused about a month and a half
of uncertainty. But if it's all cleared up and we're
(19:53):
all in better standing for having gone through it, where
are all the naysayers that put everything on the line
on the price of eggs and everyth on the line
over dolls and this and that. They just look simply foolish.
This this is not wishful thinking. This seems to be
significant progress. But how much of it is beyond ninety days?
Do you think?
Speaker 5 (20:13):
Well, that's the big thing that we.
Speaker 1 (20:15):
Don't know about.
Speaker 5 (20:15):
There are so many big issues on the plate for
President Trump. Of course he travels to the Mid East today,
traveling first to Saudi Arabia, But this is one of
the biggest because we're talking about the world's two largest economies.
It's America's third largest trading partner. And that's the reason
why you've seen financial markets decline substantially over the course
(20:38):
of the past few months because of what you call it, Michael, uncertainty.
Uncertainty as it relates to the trade relationship.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
Between the US and China, Marcus don't like concerned. What
ended up being the president's big surprise, was it the
two Air Force one seven forty sevens.
Speaker 5 (20:55):
That's a good question. You know, he is going to
speak to the press this morning.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
He's likely to speak.
Speaker 5 (21:02):
To the press when he departs. Then maybe we'll get
an answer to your question at one of those two
events that will take place today before the president's departure.
As you point out, the President has promised a big surprise,
he said Thursday, Friday or today before departing, and maybe
the plane conveyance, the plane gift is that big surprise.
(21:23):
But you know that gift comes with some issues that
you have to be concerned about. That plane, if indeed
this deal goes through, has to essentially be taken apart
and then put back together to make sure, you know,
for listening devices, for safety reasons. So it's not like,
you know, the modification.
Speaker 1 (21:43):
On that plane can begin immediately. And we have new
listeners in Biloxi, Mississippi listening to news Redio one O
four nine to WBV. This is your Supreme Court bar
attorney and White House correspondent here to serve you at
your morning show. By the way, that security he's talking
about is not for the president. It's because from time
to time John also flies on Air Force one, so
great security attention will be paid at a great expense
(22:06):
and time that that might not be Might not John
Decker be much quicker than waiting for the two that
they're making. All right, John, have a great day. We'll
talk again tomorrow. Thanks a lot, Michael, all right, forty
one minutes after the art for just waking up. These
are your top five stories of the day. Well. President
(22:26):
Trump says he will sign an executive order today that
will cap prescription drug and pharmaceutical prices. It basically ties
them to the lowest cost offered to any other country.
What does that mean here at home? Maybe savings up
to eighty percent.
Speaker 10 (22:41):
In a post on truth social Trumps and the US
has been treated unfairly and that healthcare costs will be
reduced by what he calls numbers never even thought of before.
The order, which Trump also called one of the most
consequential executive orders in our country's history, is set to
be signed Monday morning.
Speaker 1 (22:56):
I'm mark Neyphew. A Soviet era space probe launched over
fifty years ago came crashing back to the Earth over
the weekend.
Speaker 4 (23:04):
Russia Space Agency says Cosmos for eighty two re entered
the atmosphere over the Indian Ocean to the west of Jakarta, Indonesia,
splashing down harmlessly. Cosmos for eighty two was launched in
nineteen seventy two to explore the service of the NUS. Instead,
it malfunctioned and ended up orbiting the Earth for decades.
I'm Tammy Trhio.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
The final stage of jury selection wraps up today in Manhattan,
but there seems to be a little hitch, perhaps a
delay in the Diddy Combs sex trafficking and reconteering trial
over a missing witness, Sarah le Kessler reports.
Speaker 9 (23:35):
Prosecutors claimed the fifty five year old rapper used his
fame and his power to sexually abuse women from two
thousand and four to twenty twenty four. Combs, who's pleaded
not guilty to a laundry list of charges, has been
held without bail in a federal lockup in Brooklyn since
he was arrested last September. If convicted on all charges,
(23:57):
the Harlem born music mogul is looking at fifteen years
to life in prison. I'm Sarah Lee Kissler.
Speaker 1 (24:04):
A new AI tool that can tell you how old
you look biologically as accurate as DNA. Mark Mayfield's back
with that story.
Speaker 10 (24:12):
Face age turns a headshot into a number that reflects
a person's biological age. Based on thousands of photos, face
age gave most cancer pations a biological age of five
years older than healthy peers. Research shows humans age at
different rates based on genes, stress, exercise, and habits like
smoking and drinking. Face age promises the same results as
genetic DNA tests using only a selfie.
Speaker 1 (24:34):
I'm Mark Maypew. This is your morning show with Michael
del Chrono. It's time for your side of the term.
Speaker 11 (24:46):
People who majored an online activision with a minor and
puberty block get a little bit of.
Speaker 12 (24:52):
Any of you in the media clearly missed the.
Speaker 7 (24:55):
Art of the deal.
Speaker 5 (24:56):
It's going to work out.
Speaker 1 (24:58):
So there is a general theme today that the Trump
administration is kind of the adult table and not to
play partisan politics. But the Democrats might be feeling a
little foolish today. I mean, last week, what was their
main message. Kids aren't going to have Barbie dolls or
dolls from China for Christmas, And now there's a China deal.
(25:22):
The dolls up futures are up a thousand right now.
Is the market's getting ready to soar. So first they
had you panicked over the price of eggs. That's corrected,
panicked over the market and the uncertainty with the trade deals,
and now they're coming through. Meanwhile, the President is signing
(25:42):
an executive order to finally caption solve the prescription drug
big farm a crisis. How many a pandered for votes
on that? Or how about the border secured crossing, secured,
dangerous people deported? What are the Democrats doing storming ice facilities?
(26:04):
And on his way out of town to the Middle East,
he has secured the release of the final remaining American
hostage being held in the gaza by Hamas Eaton Alexander's
coming home to New Jersey. He'll tell you where the
big Boy table. It's what are the Democrats up to?
While still in search of a message, still in search
(26:25):
of a messenger, still playing identity politics. You get all
of it in our first Sound of the Day with
Jasmine Crockett the New AOC.
Speaker 12 (26:35):
It is this fear that the people within the party,
within the primary system will have about voting for a woman,
because every time we voted for a woman we've lost
so far. And I think that that's a natural fear
because we just want to win. So there's a lot
of people that are like, you know what, like, let's
(26:56):
go find the safest white boy we can find.
Speaker 1 (26:58):
I mean, I'm just saying holds that we're hearing. We're
hearing people real and to be.
Speaker 12 (27:06):
Clear, when we talk about them, I can tell you
that there is one specific candidate. I had a donor
on the phones with me telling me that all the
donors are lining up behind that candidate. So I can
tell and I tell you it's not a black person
nor a woman. Okay, So like it is, they have
quote unquote, they have chosen. And when I say they,
it's the same donors that most likely had the opinions
(27:29):
about Joe Biden and move. So like that would be
the theay that I would talk about. Here's what I
want people to understand is I do absolutely agree with
Malcolm when he talks about not seeding your power at
the end of the day, don't give up your power.
Speaker 1 (27:45):
People fail to.
Speaker 12 (27:46):
Recognize how unique Trump is. They continued to say, what
we lost, well, they both lost to Trump. Trump who
is a misogynist, Trump who is going to ramp up
the misogynists in the first place, because that's what he does.
Speaker 1 (28:01):
He's done nothing but would surround himself from chief of
Staff to White House spokesperson, the head of the Justice Department,
nothing to head of Homeland Security women. I mean, you
could play this silly. I don't even think you could
(28:22):
play this game anymore. Charles bark is a great example
of this. Can I play one quick click? This is
Charles Barkley when somebody's trying to bring up, oh, I
don't know what I did with it. I'll find it.
But he's basically saying, I'll do it. After all, you
work to edit that. Can you play it from there?
(28:43):
Because this is how dead this kind of nonsense is.
They just they went too far with everything. It's one
thing to be gay, it's one thing to be transgendered.
It's one thing to you know, demonize anybody for speaking
against it and not support men boxing women or playing
basketball against women or swimming against women. Watch out quickly.
(29:07):
Charles Barkley dismisses this. I'm curious your thoughts on this.
They're they're helping find the general gender. This is a
gender affirming care study on young boys with the goal
is impairing boys to be able to come down to
participate against women. Have you seen this thing?
Speaker 13 (29:28):
I have not, But I'm gonna make this very simple
for you, Dan, Men should not play sports against women.
I'm not gonna get into all the book that's going
on out here in the world today.
Speaker 1 (29:40):
You know it's interesting.
Speaker 13 (29:43):
I'm always sit back and look at you stuff, and
let me tell you something.
Speaker 1 (29:46):
I am.
Speaker 13 (29:47):
I love gay people, I love transgender people. I'm always
I'm against any form of discrimination period because you can't say,
uh like if you are against I love my gay
friends and I love my transgender friend. But I'm not
gonna get into all this stuff that's going around. Men
should not play sports against women.
Speaker 1 (30:09):
Uh but you got all of this identity politics and
wokeness just went too far and it finally died. But
how do you how do you say Donald Trump is
the king of misogyny when he's made his White House
spokesperson a very intelligent woman, his Homeland Security director an
accomplished governor and female woman. Pam Bondis Attorney General, very
(30:36):
accomplished woman. His chief of staff, Pat Summerle's daughter, an accomplished,
brilliant woman. These are such nonsense narratives. This is the
kind of thing you do when you don't have a messenger,
and you don't have a message. So here's Dan Tarentine,
(30:58):
who is a Democratic strategist, when asked, are they going
to continue in this nonsensical direction?
Speaker 11 (31:07):
I sure hope not. I mean, look, we are a
party right now.
Speaker 1 (31:11):
That is completely leader lists.
Speaker 11 (31:13):
I mean in normal times it would be Chuck Schumer
and Hakeem Jeffries. But both of them are terrified of
our base. I mean they are paralyzed with fear. Chuck
Schumer is down twenty points here in New York to
AOC if there was a primary today. And on top
of that, we don't have an agenda at all. You know,
all we really have that holds us together is the
(31:35):
dislike of Donald Trump. And you know we saw how
that went in November, and so you know, for us
to ultimately move forward, we have to come up with
the real agenda that helps the real lives of real people.
Even on tariffs, I have.
Speaker 1 (31:49):
To tell you, and I wonder what will be left
for them. I mean today alone, Donald Trump signing an
executive order it's going to cat prescription drug and pharmaceutical
price is slash them by eighty percent. You will not
be able as a pharmaceutical company to sell a drug
in America for a penny more than the lowest price
(32:09):
you're selling it elsewhere. How long has the left pandered
who's big Farman now? Post COVID, Who's big Farma now?
Post Trump? The last living American hostage from the Gaza
being held by Hamas heading home to New Jersey today,
(32:31):
Scot percent walks out of the trade negotiations with China.
Speaker 7 (32:37):
We made substantial progress between the United States and China
and a.
Speaker 1 (32:42):
Very important trade talk.
Speaker 5 (32:44):
We will be giving details tomorrow, but I can tell
you that the talks for productive productive.
Speaker 1 (32:52):
I guess they're going to cut all the tariffs one
hundred and fifteen percent for ninety days. Now what see why?
I say it's like the Trump administration is the adult
table and the kids misbehaving in the family room at
the kids table. Unfortunately that's the Democrat All right, everybody
(33:12):
block alone.
Speaker 11 (33:13):
Look, you just got a track.
Speaker 1 (33:14):
Now they're not. So I'm glad for the opportunity for
a brief civics lesson.
Speaker 8 (33:18):
Sure, perhaps you'd like to be alone with you ras
anteriorating mental condition.
Speaker 1 (33:23):
We're all in this together. This is Your Morning Show
with Michael nhild Joano,
