(00:21):
listen live, but are grateful you're here now for the
podcast Enjoy.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Well two three Starting your morning off right.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
It's a new way of talk, a new way of
understanding because we're in.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
This to get This is your morning show with Michael
Dell chorin six minutes after the hour. Thanks for waking
up with your morning show on this Tuesday, July, the
second year of our lord to twenty twenty four on
the air and streaming live on your Heart radio app.
This is your morning show, and I'm Michael del Jornam.
All right, Well, obviously there's going to be reaction to
(00:56):
the Supreme Court ruling two ways to look at it
constantitutionally and politically, just like there was two ways to
look at COVID, right medically from a virology standpoint, or politically.
Long as I knew which one I was talking about,
I was able to talk about it. This was constitutional,
(01:21):
common sense. It's as it always has been. And we
didn't have presidence going around killing their opponents that we
could prove. So you get presidential immunity upheld for official business,
and now you have political chaos in essence, a fantasy
(01:47):
and narrative, a political weapon has been diffused by law
and reality. Well, we've decided to take a look at
this morning, because you can't look at everything and the
amount of time we have. As I go back to
how we got Biden, which is all documented in a
Time magazine piece, Shadow Campaign to Save the Democracy. You
(02:08):
can google it for yourself read it. It's a February fifteenth,
Time Magazine issue twenty twenty one, and in it they explain, well,
we controlled the narrative because we controlled the media. Yes,
we live in a time of a death of journalism,
but there's a rebirth taking place. We'll get to that
in a minute. We controlled the narrative, and then we
(02:29):
controlled and silenced any opposing views because we controlled social media.
Then we hid the old man in a basement, We
weaponized COVID, We changed election laws which allowed ballad harvesting
and mail in voting enough to tip swing precincts and
swing districts of swing states and thus the presidency. And
(02:50):
they'll sum it all up by telling you and if
that didn't work, we were going to do an armed
insurrection kind of like what you were seeing on the
streets would BLM and Antifa. That was to condition you
for an insurrection. In fact, in the Time magazine piece,
you have to tell you how they scrambled to call
off the insurrection when they were shocked and Joe Biden won,
(03:12):
and it worked, But it was all done because it
had to be done to save democracy. The two biggest
legs of the stool are controlling the media and controlling
opposing views. Now there's all the same old tools. Demonize
your opponent, make them the boogeyman, divide, conquer, spread fear,
(03:41):
so on and so forth. But the two bigs and
the legs of the stool were control media. Well that's
really the reality we're in now in twenty twenty four
versus twenty twenty. The media has turned on them. Their
greatest weapon and their shadow campaign ability is the media,
and the media is done with Biden. There's chinks in
(04:02):
the alliance and armor with the media. Now I documented,
and that's why we have the podcast. I can't redo
that it took ten fifteen minutes showing you the Washington Post,
showing you Axios. Remember the Atlantic, Washington Post, Axios, New
York Times. These are the centerpieces beyond seeing on MSNBC, ABCNBCCBS.
(04:30):
These are the centerpieces of leftist thought. And if they've
turned on Biden, it's a big problem. And all have
turned on Biden. Axios probably did it the most surgical way.
Headline to Biden's and the night America saw the other one.
(04:53):
I used to always say, behind every headline is a story,
and behind every story there's so much to talk about.
That headline says it all. Mean. I'm not a big
fan of Axios, but for the leftist who finally took
their hands off their eyes, what a great headline, isn't that?
I mean, could nine words say it any better? Now
(05:15):
I knew this side of Joe Biden. I was shocked
they allowed us to see it, but I knew it.
It didn't shock me. If it surprised you, you haven't
been very honest with yourself. If it's surprised, CNN, they
haven't been very honest with all of us. But what
a headline two Joe Biden's and the night America saw
the other one. And then they lay out the case
(05:38):
of how they've hidden that Joe Biden from you, and
in the middle of it, this much I will redo
in case you weren't listening earlier. The time of day
is important as to which of the two Bidens will
appear from ten am to four pm. Biden is pretty
dependably engaged. That's why many of his public events in
(06:02):
front of cameras are held within those hours. You got
yourself a ten to four president. He's the midday guy.
I'm sure Scooter chuckled at that one. Only a radio
guy would get that. Outside of that time range or
while traveling abroad, Biden's more likely to have verbal miscues,
(06:25):
become fatigued agitated. Aids told Axios Thursday's ninety minute debate
was nine pm Eastern, clearly not between ten and four.
I was sitting here thinking watch him come up with
the idea of I think a shatterday afternoon debate would
work better. You know, Shay Noonschatro. So we get it
(06:48):
in the heart of that ten to four. Oh, it'll
probably happen. White House spokesperson Andrew Bates told Axios that
there is one Joe Biden works his heart out fighting
for families like the one he grew up when Scranton.
Oh gosh, don't he's got them all talking like him.
(07:11):
Some of the close knit Biden aids who prepped him
for the debate told Confidence they were optimistic beforehand. Remember
I kept asking the question. You were working with him,
You had to know what we were going to see.
This is a hit job, This is a setup. Oh no.
The spin is the vast majority of Biden's had agreed
that the debate was damaging, but disagree on the extent.
(07:31):
Having an early debate was meant to make up for
polling deficits to Trump rather than fall further behind. But
by having it in June, Biden's team do have several
months to recover he had. Then there was also the
cover story, you were doing it early so that you
could get rid of him if he failed. And then
there's the excuse, Well, when we were working with him,
(07:53):
you know, he had the cold, and we wanted to
protect his voice, so you know, we cut it short,
not that he was getting sleepy or anything. The other
Axios story looks at the difference between Joe Biden four
years ago and today, and as that reminded everybody, we
(08:17):
all have parents, right, it's a big Seventy eight to
eighty two is a big difference, and eighty two to
eighty six is an even bigger difference, especially if eighty
two looks like it did on debate night. So Axios
points out that's what everybody's really fearing, and now people
are starting to sing like canaries and talk about it.
(08:38):
So I came to this conclusion. Isn't it obvious? And
you can't say better than that headline in Axios, right,
the two Joe Biden's and the night America saw the
other one, the true sleepy Joe. The difference is the
media is done covering for it. The media is done
(09:00):
with Joe Biden. I don't think the administrative state is.
I don't think John Podesta is, I don't think the
DNC is, But the media is. And that's a big
leg of how they pull off their shadow campaigns. Here's
another one. Remember Leg one was we control the media,
will control the narrative. Leg two was we'll control any
opposing views and silence it because we control social media.
(09:25):
Well that's my other second half and favorite story of
the day. So Kamala Harris is going around telling everybody
Donald Trump is gonna ban abortion nation right now, They're
gonna go around and tell you he's gonna kill his opponents.
The Supreme Court just paid the way for an Adolf
Hitler in America. Donald Trump, that's what they're gonna be
telling you. But prior to that ruling, they were going
(09:46):
around Donald Trump, it is going to ban abortion nationwide.
That within his power. He didn't do it when he
was in power. The Supreme Court and Donald Trump support
send it back to the States. The President couldn't be,
I mean any more clear that abortions on everyone's conscious
(10:10):
to decide. In his case, he's for all the exceptions.
That's for everybody's moral conscience to decide. But ultimately abortions
in the hands of the states, where it always belongs.
It's always every said. But to create fear to create votes,
because they can't find any energy for their ideas or
how they failed, they go around and create fear boogeyman.
(10:33):
So Kamala Harris posts on x donald Trump would ban
abortion nationwide, President Joe Biden, and I will do everything
in our power to stop him and restore women's reproductive freedom. Well,
Elon Musk takes that post and says, when will politicians
or at least the intern who runs their account learn
(10:56):
that lying on this platform doesn't work anymore? Boom mic drop,
And then he proceeds to put all the links to
stories that prove that Donald Trump has no intention of
doing this, never has, so, he writes, President Bump, President
(11:17):
Trump has repeatedly said he will not sign a national
abortion band. Then he cites the links to the stories CNN, BBCAP,
New York Times, Truth, Social what a mic drop? When
will politicians or at least the interns who run their
account learn lying on this platform doesn't work anymore? Works
(11:40):
on a lot of other platforms, but not on X.
SO the reality is in the shadow campaign, they've lost
control of the narrative because the mainstream media isn't playing
along anymore. CEE Washington POSTYEK, New York Times, c CNN,
The Night of the debate, see axios and that ability
to silence opposing views by controlling social media. They lost
(12:03):
half of it when Alan Musk took over X. Maybe
that's why they're making the move to TikTok. If passed
his prologue four years ago, they needed to hide him
in a basement. They can't. Four years ago, they had
to weaponize COVID to change election laws. They can't. They
(12:27):
tried law fare, it's failed. Four years ago, they controlled
the narrative with the media. The media's turned against them.
Four years ago, they silenced any opposing views by controlling
social media. They lost half of it. An x no
wonder Red writes at Michael d at iHeartMedia dot com.
(12:49):
What's next for the Democrats? An Ai Biden? After all,
the Olympics are going to use in artificial intelligence Al Michaels.
Don't give him any ideas read that may be coming next.
This is your morning show with Michael Deltna. These are
your top five stories of the day. Well, there's only
(13:14):
one way to stop him now, and that's in the polls.
Speaker 4 (13:17):
In November, America people must decide they want to entrust
the president once again, the presidency to Donald Trump now
knowing he'll even more in boldin to do whatever he
excleeses whenever he wants to do it.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
Former President Trump's partial victory in the Supreme Court over
the question of immunity has big political implications. Trump advisor
of Lena hammas As. The ruling means Trump's election interference
case has hit a roadblock. I don't see how this
case could go forward before the election. Palm appraise the
Supreme Court's decision. I've argued on immunity for President Trump,
and I think they did get right that they recognize
(13:55):
absolute immunity exists. Further delay in the case will mean
Trump will be free to campaign and not be up
in a courtroom. However, the ruling does not impact Trump's
upcoming sentencing in his New York kush money case on
July eleventh. The judge in that case could sentence Trump
to prison or home confinement. The Justice has ruled six
to three on Monday, handsome immunity from prosecution.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
I'm Mark Neefield, actually not so fast. Former President Trump
is looking to have his New York kush money case
thrown out. Now. Hours after the US Supreme Court issued
its landmark ruling about the presidential immunity, Trump's lawyers filed
the letter, with the judge looking to set aside the
recent guilty verdict, saying evidence was introduced that is now protected.
The letter also asked for the July eleventh sentencing to
(14:37):
be delayed. Meanwhile, First Lady Joe Biden is in giving
up on her husband's run for the White House. Yeah,
it was a shaky debate, but she told Vogue magazine.
They will not let those ninety minutes define the four
years of his presidency, so they're following narratives. A number
(14:58):
of US military basis in Europe are on heightened alert
over a possible terror attack. Michael Kastner reports the bases
include US European Command in Germany. It's not clear what
exactly caused the alert to be raised to the second
highest level. The European authorities have been tightening security ahead
of the Paris Olympics and the ongoing European Football Championships.
(15:20):
I'm Michael Castner. Hurricane Burrow is now a Category five
in the Caribbean, heading towards Mexico. Mark Mayfield is back
to PHYLLISID.
Speaker 3 (15:27):
According to the National Hurricane Center in Miami, Barrel has
maximum sustained winds of one hundred and sixty miles per
hour and is moving west northwest at twenty miles per hour.
Forecaster say Beryl is expected to remain an extremely dangerous
major hurricane as it moves through the Windward Islands into
the Southeastern Caribbean, with hurricane conditions possible in Jamaica by Wednesday.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
I'm Mark Mayfield, fourth of July summer plans. They often
include the pool. Gree tennis is busting some of those
pool miss.
Speaker 5 (15:55):
It's your blonde and go in the pool. The chlorine
will turn your hair green. That's true. It's not from
the chlorine, it's from the copper on the water. Or
you have to wait thirty minutes after eating before swimming.
That's also been proven false by Olympic swimmers. And there's
a special dye you can add to the water that
will turn a color if someone urinates. Ultra modern pool
supply says no such chemical exists. They say, as long
(16:18):
as the pool is properly maintained, you're free to jump in.
I'm free tennis.
Speaker 1 (16:22):
I'd be called Biden bromine. In sports, the Nets lost
nine to seven of the Mets, Cardinals, Rangers, Dbacks, Raised, Guardians,
Mariners all off of Zoom Action Today. Hi, it's Michael.
Your morning show can be heard on great radio stations
across the country like News Talk ninety two point one
and six hundred WREC and Memphis, Tennessee, or thirteen hundred
(16:43):
The Patriot in Tulsa or Talk six to fifty KSTE
in Sacramento, California. We invite you to listen live while
you're getting ready in the morning and take us along
for the drive to work. But as we always say,
better late than never. Thanks for joining us for the
podcast if you're just waking up. Supreme Court issued that
landmark ruling on the residential immunity constitutionally common sense, no
(17:03):
brainer for past presidents, for this president in office, especially
in what appears to be his cognitive capabilities, or even
future presidents. But the political reaction has been enormous, and
the demonization of Donald Trump is a monster who will
kill people and dictate forever continues. Meanwhile, we have a
hurricane in the Caribbean heading towards Mexico. We've got military
(17:26):
bases on high alert. We'll talk about that with Stephen
Bouchie in our third hour and with Rory O'Neil as well.
This hour, and the fourth of July holiday is upon us.
It's going to be hot, and it's going to be
a little bit more expensive. I like to get to
the meat of these stories, if you will. And I
turned to your morning show national correspondent, Aaron Realogy. You
(17:46):
see what I did there? The meat that was brilliant.
Speaker 6 (17:48):
You are a professional and know what Ryan Seacrest has
nothing on you.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
Yes, in my smile, I think is a little more natural.
But I digress. All your real well not all of them.
Speaker 6 (18:04):
Don't worry no one over.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
Have I ever told you that I'm a grinder?
Speaker 6 (18:09):
Oh I'm a grinder too.
Speaker 1 (18:10):
See we got so much in con well. I I'm
a little older than you, so I can tell you
how that ends. You You end up with crowns on
every molar, top and bottom.
Speaker 2 (18:20):
Eventually, I know I have to do something about that.
Speaker 6 (18:23):
It's this whole uh you know, of the news business.
I don't know it just it feels right to grind.
Speaker 1 (18:28):
Well that and do you have you know the muscles
in your jaw. Mine are so tight and then if
you rub them, I just go to the moon, which
is from the grinding as well. But yeah, I think
I had somebody give me a tip, and I did
it a couple times. But you know, I have to
be distracted to sleep, so I can't. But they told me,
whatever's on your mind, your mind will continue to think about.
(18:51):
So if you fall asleep worrying, your mind is subconsciously
worrying while you're sleeping. Or if you have something on
your to do list and you're anxious, you'll continue to
be anxious while you sleep. So you write all these
things down right before you go to bed, and then
that way it allows your mind to rest. I did
it a couple times. Eh, you know the mouthguard. That's
(19:11):
the only solution. Yeah, I look like a linebacker for
the Pittsburgh Steelers when I'm asleep.
Speaker 6 (19:18):
Yeah, it's I mean, listen, it's a hard one to
contend it because you're like, listen, I'm not conscious, Like
I can't really address this earnestly, but yeah, I hear you.
Speaker 1 (19:28):
And getting up in the middle of the night, I
noticed I have more dreams and then more the likelihood
of waking up in the middle of one, which is
always making it a rude awakening. All right, The root
awakening is will be the cost of meat for fourth
of July. We like the barbecue and meets through the roof,
meets through the roof.
Speaker 6 (19:41):
Seventy one bucks ten people. That is the cost for
a fourth of July barbecue this year. It's pretty brutal.
All proteins are expensive. Beef veal, the list goes on
and on. It's up thirty percent from twenty nineteen. But
let's focus on the grill, like the actual thing you
need to make this beef a part of your life.
Those price we might find some softening there, and that's
(20:03):
because everybody bought a grill during the pandemic. All of
the people went out and bought a grill. So as
a result, the life cycle of a grill is about
five years. And people's grills are humming. They don't need
a new one tomorrow. And we're are now seeing if
you just look at Trigger, because that was a pandemic, darling,
they're quarterly earnings last quarter seventy six million. If you
(20:26):
look at it in twenty twenty one, same quarter, one
hundred and fifty six million. If you ever wanted one
of these fancy grills, a Trigger, the Big Green Egg,
any of them, they can't really move them this year,
so they're offering a lot more incentives.
Speaker 1 (20:39):
Big green egg.
Speaker 6 (20:41):
Have you seen that one?
Speaker 1 (20:42):
Yeah, there was one. I went to a friend's house.
He had one. They make a big deal, a lot
of it. I mean, girls, as far as I could say,
give me a little teeny tiny webber and some charcoal
and I can make the best egg. But but that
one was kind of half smoke. It looked like a
lot of work. Much. Yeah, and it looks cool.
Speaker 6 (21:02):
Those komodo like they look neat, they look different. But
I am on board with you one thousand percent. I
think like I like the natural coals on a Weber grill,
like those tiny little black like the classic grill.
Speaker 1 (21:18):
I think the food tastes better on a fancy grill.
I have the Weber gas one propane, and you know
how it has a I don't have to describe it
other because I'm not a very technical person, but it
has like the sleeve of metal that's kind of bent
and that's what goes over the flame kind of a thing. Well,
mine is all because you'd said shelf life's about five
years so it's gone. But I'm telling you it's making
(21:39):
the most delicious steak now. Because now I got more
flames hitting it because that guard isn't there, And so
I am actually due to replace my grill. But I'm
loving the way my food is flavorful. Well it's broke.
I think we're getting a little rust with it as well.
But yeah, the big, the big green egg that didn't
lure me. You know, good old fashioned charcoal seems to
(22:00):
work the best. But yeah, that's a good tip. So
if you're ever and I am due to do that,
if you're ever going to splurge on a grill, now's
the time they're hurting.
Speaker 6 (22:07):
Yes, and particularly if you want to wait till like
mid August, end of August, they're going to come down
even more. And people who have sold grills, they know
it's seasonal, they know it's slow growth industry.
Speaker 1 (22:17):
That's fine.
Speaker 6 (22:18):
They were aware of this, and they say that it's
it's readjusting to those pre pandemic levels. The upside is
that a lot of people came in and bought grills
that were not a part of the market. So they're
coming back for the propein, they're coming back for the
pellets or whatever it is. But yes, if you were
ever keen to get a fancy grill, this is the
year to do it all right.
Speaker 1 (22:36):
So I would imagine I told you one of my
great Obama inflation stories, I love pot roast, and I
picked this pot roast up and it's seventy dollars and
I actually put it back down. I couldn't believe seventy
one dollars for a pot row Wow. But I would
imagine people barbecuing ribs and briskets of it. That's got
(22:56):
to really be higher. I mean, how we get into
seventy one dollars not on Hamberger and hot dogs alone?
Speaker 6 (23:01):
Are we oh, listen, thirty percent more than it was
in twenty nineteen. These are numbers that cannot be reckoned with.
I actually heard an incredible tip earlier today. I was
speaking to an anchor in Ohio and he said he's
a huge griller and with the family next door, they
went in and they split a cow. I was like, what, Oh, yeah,
(23:22):
this is Harty said like really great. And he's like,
so now you have a tremendous amount of meat. You
just have to prepare because you have to defrost. But
he's like, there's there's a cost value there. And I
was like, I think I want to do that. Well,
it seems like such a great idea.
Speaker 1 (23:34):
Here's here's my thing. I used to get the whole
what do they call it, the whole filet loin, you know,
and if you go to the baker, if you go
to the butcher and it's like ninety it used to
be like ninety one dollars, and so you'd end up
with like nine really good sized filets that were perfect,
and then all the trimmings. You'd end up with like
two three pounds of hamburger. Hamburger made from file at
(23:58):
That was always But obviously if you can do a
core or half a cow, that is always a smart
thing to do. But you probably need a freezer out
in the garage. Hot Dogs, hot dogs, and oysters, a
lot of things that gross me out of the grossest
things that I love for some reason, Like I won't
eat escargo. I want need a snail. I won't even
eat bison. It's got to be a cow. But doesn't
(24:19):
matter what you tell me's in a hot dog or
an oyster, because I mean, who was the first guy
that saw an oyster and thought to open it? Let alone?
There's that you know, clump and they go, oh, ch
eat it. Because it looks nasty and gross. But I
love oysters and I love hot dogs. Are I guess
hot dogs are probably about average, right, just slightly up.
Speaker 6 (24:39):
Slightly up, not as bad as you would think, because
you know, whatever's in the.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
Dog get extravagant with your beef. You'll have to offset
that expense with buying a girl because they're they're cheapest
going beef. All right, that's your barbecue. Fourth of July
tips from Aaron Reel. She's gonna be back. Over a
third of Americans are planning to take on debt this
summer for travel plans. We love to travel. We'd love
to spend our money on experiences, and it shows on
(25:05):
our credit card bills. Aaron, thanks for joining us. We'll
talk again in an hour. All right, if you're just
waking up. It's forty four minutes after the hour. And
these are your top five stories of the day. I
think you know what number one is going to be? Doctor, right? Well,
the Supreme Court ruled in favor of what is being
politically viewed as in favor of Donald Trump, and of
(25:25):
course President Biden reacted from the White House. Here's Mark
Mayfield with today in politics.
Speaker 3 (25:30):
President and Biden says President Trump's partial victory in the
Supreme Court over immunity since a dangerous president America.
Speaker 4 (25:37):
People must decide they want to entrust the president once
again to presidency to Donald Trump now knowing he'll be
more embolden to do whatever he pleases whenever he wants
to do it.
Speaker 3 (25:50):
In an address from the White House Monday, Biden said
that the Scotis six ' to three decision means there
are virtually no limits on presidential power. He went on
to and that voters to deserve the ability to have
an answer before election day on what took place January sixth,
twenty twenty one. Justices rule on Monday that Trump is
shielded on some levels from criminal charges for axi took
an office. The decision could impact all of Trump's pending
(26:12):
court cases and will probably delay his federal election interference
case until after the election, and President Biden's family is
urging him to stay in the twenty twenty four race
following his shaking debate performance last week. Biden's performance has
prompts one to call on the President to step aside.
That's politics. Mark Mayfield, NBC News radius.
Speaker 1 (26:30):
This narrative bombardment will be interrupted by the fourth of July,
and thank God for it. The presidential immunity constitutionally is
somewhat of a no brainer and obvious. However, it is
quite the blow to the fantasy and narrativized political weapon
that has simply been diffused by law and reality. But
(26:51):
you could expect the Boogeyman now with the power to
do even more unspeakable thing. Meanwhile, President Biden's family's urging
the president to stay in the race. Michael Cassner has more.
Speaker 2 (27:04):
Biden discussed the future of his reelection bid with family
members at Camp David over the weekend. News reports say
as family implored the president to continue his campaign and
discussed whether top AIDS should be fired. Biden's debate performance
has prompted some to call on the president to step aside.
Top Democratic lawmakers, however, are publicly rallying around the president.
(27:28):
I'm Michael Cassner.
Speaker 1 (27:29):
Is it Burrell or Beryl b e ryl Merle Burrell?
Milton Burrell should be Hurricane Burrel right now? A Category
five in the Caribbean heading towards Mexico. Mark Mayfield has
a different pronunciation and fills US.
Speaker 3 (27:46):
In According to the Nationial Hurricane Center in Miami, Beryl
has maximum sustained wins of one hundred and sixty miles
per hour and is moving west northwest at twenty miles
per hour. Forecasters say Beryl is expected to remain an
extremely dangerous major hurdhurricane as it moves through the Windward
Islands into the Southeastern Caribbean, with hurricane conditions possible in
Jamaica by Wednesday. By Mark Mayfield.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
This is Steve the Wrestler, a refugee from the People's
Republic of Minnesota, and my morning show is your Morning
Show with Michael Bell.
Speaker 6 (28:20):
Join on.
Speaker 1 (28:21):
Remember the Habachi grill from the seventies, So do I
an apartment must along with the bean bag, lava lamp,
and shag carpeting. But just give me like a camping
size weber and some charcoal. I'll make you a steak
that'llocuosats off, but expect to pay more for meat. As
we just learned, a US Supreme Court issued its landmark
(28:43):
ruling about presidential immunity, creating political shock waves as their
weapon has been diffused Hurricane Burrel, or Burrell, as many
are saying, now, a category five in the Caribbean heading
towards Mexico and fourth of July holiday shaping up to
be a hot one and more expensive because of the
cost of meat. And it looks like summer wave of
COVID is here. We'd like to scare you with that
(29:06):
and get a twenty twenty election result out of it,
but you know it's mild like a cold. Why did
I turn into Larry King on that? Get some coke
good ten? Who was the other Larry King one? Glucosamine
condruy diant uh. And then of course we have the
number of US military bases in Europe and heightened alert
(29:28):
over a possible terror attack. Is roy here? Yes? He
never tells me when you're here, garlik. I was shouting leak, Yeah,
eats a lot of goaq. He was co q ten
right and glukosamin condrud.
Speaker 7 (29:46):
Didn't I always thought that was a Jerry Lewis condrayten.
Speaker 1 (29:54):
H. Was there anything better in the early days than
Larry King overnight on the radio telling stories in Miami
Old station? Yeah? Great, he is definitely for those of
you only remember from television. If there's a mount Rushmore
for radio, trust me, Larry King is on it. I
don't know why you can't have a show like that anymore.
I mean, you know, why can't they have that at night?
(30:14):
Because it's just too many opinions? Yeah, just you know
what storytelling show? What's wrong with an interview show? Tom Snyder,
Larry King? Those are my favorites growing up, and Larry
King was the master of interviewing this guy.
Speaker 7 (30:27):
Even on the primetime CNN, they just rehash what we've
seen all day, day in the night.
Speaker 1 (30:33):
Will America ever get Will America ever get tired of fighting? Well,
you sent me a story earlier this morning. Are we
proud of me? An American? And the answer is only
forty one percent of us are extremely proud. That's because
we focus on what divides us, not unites us, what
we're the little things we're fighting about, versus the big
things that we should be celebrating. It's all what you
focus on, and it's it's dangerous stuff, all right. Why
(30:56):
are these US military basis on high alert? Yeah, a
bunch of reasons, but nothing specific.
Speaker 7 (31:00):
The Pentagon says, look at all the Americans who are
vacationing abroad right now, who may be targeted in some
sort of an attack. You also have the soccer matches
and frankly, you know, depending on the cars that are
set on fire, you don't know if the team won
or logs. So you've got these crazy soccer matches that
are happening, so lots of tourists across Europe for the games.
(31:21):
Then you've got the elections happening in France and in England,
and of course the Olympics coming up in Paris. So
they've gone to this threat level Charlie, which is the
second highest threat level. Delta is the highest, but that's
after something has happened. So this alert is going out
to the European basis. Stuttguard is the headquarters for European
(31:43):
Command for the US, and that's it's concerning.
Speaker 1 (31:46):
But again no specific threat announced by the Pentagon. Does
that affect anything even along our border as well?
Speaker 7 (31:55):
No, not necessarily no, because this is pretty confined to
European Command.
Speaker 1 (31:59):
It doesn't even apply to the Middle East or Africa.
Speaker 7 (32:02):
They say they have their own sort of they're already
at an enhanced security level, so this is really just
Europe specific.
Speaker 1 (32:11):
Could be really Olympics specific, right, could be?
Speaker 7 (32:14):
Yeah, all the elections, you know, the elections are happening
in France.
Speaker 1 (32:17):
And England, could be who knows. So we were looking
at this story together that you sent me. And by
the way, sixty seven percent sixty seven percent combined share
of Americans who are extremely or very if you combine
very and extremely proud is the latest Gallop number. But
(32:38):
believe it or not, pride goes along party lines as well.
In fact, the more moderate or liberal you are, the
less proud you are. We're all in this together. This
is your Morning Show with Michael En hild Chowno
