Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, gang, it's me Michael. You can listen to your
morning show live. Make us a part of your morning
routine or your drive to work companion on great stations
like Talk Radio ninety eight point three and fifteen ten
WLAC in Nashville, Tupoulos News and Talk one to one
point one and ten sixty WKMQ, and how about Talk
six fifty KSTE in Sacramento, California. Love to have you

(00:21):
listen live, but are grateful you're here now for the
podcast Enjoy.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Well two three starting your morning off right, A new
way of talk, a new way of understanding.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Because where mister good This is your morning show with
Michael O'Dell chorno six minutes after the hour.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
From the top of my cup of coffee, Well to
your snooze button, I am Michael del Journo.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Here's this is your morning show. It's seven eleven. You
know what that means.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
You know we always do this with Aaron Rayal because
she's so much younger than us. Right, and by the way, Aaron,
don't be a offend by that. You'll blink and you'll
be the old.

Speaker 4 (01:02):
One in the room, so it can be clear I'm
not that young either.

Speaker 5 (01:06):
Well, I know, but compared to us forty it's a
big twenty years compared to us, that's true. No, but
like you were a hockey player, so maybe lacrosse after.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
But in Little League one of the traditions of Little
League baseball is after the game, you go get a slurpee.
Remember when we were kids. Yep, And today is seven eleven,
July the eleventh, and it's also National Slurpe Day.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
Jo old is seven eleven. Like, how long is it?

Speaker 3 (01:33):
Well, we don't even have them anymore, do you do?
You still have them in Connecticut?

Speaker 4 (01:37):
No, you don't see them very often.

Speaker 6 (01:38):
No.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
And then like there was one that came to New
York City, Like it's probably almost like a decade ago.
Now it is a big deal, but I don't remember
anyone really loving it.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
We just got a new seven eleven just north of Nashville.
Oh we did. Yeah, you can get the big gulp
in the icys in the whole nine yard.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
Well that's what that was gonna be my next question,
because unless you're at seven eleven, it's not a slurpee.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
Yeah, it's an icy, Yeah, it's an icy yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
So but the icy won't do so somewhere you got
to and today, on this National Slurty Day, you got
to go in search of a seven eleven. While you're there,
get a lottery ticket. I don't know if you ever
have this, Aaron, but I always have the reoccurring dream
that I'm.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
Back in college.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
I think this goes back to my New Testament Greed
class where I had a virus and I couldn't study,
and Oh what a nightmare that was.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
But you're taking a test and you don't know.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
One of the answers mine should be that you wake
up one morning and there's nothing to talk about that
hasn't been a problem for us, has it as.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Long as as long as human beings are on the earth.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
And it's an election year, I guess the big question
is will Donald Trump be taking on Joe Biden? And
the conventions are here, the Republican Convention in Milwaukee is
next week, and we still don't have a definitive answer.
The choruses of people telling Joe Biden to step aside
continues to build. We had Colorado Senator Michael Bennett yesterday.
Today we have Vermont Senator Peter Welsh calling on the

(02:56):
President to step aside. George Clooney joined John Stewart and
me head Rob Reiner from the Hollywood Chorus telling the
president to step aside. And then if you look at
the major news sources from the left, Axios continues to
just pound away today's headlines. Biden should provide evidence he

(03:16):
can beat Trump to Democrat leaders. Washington Post, Pelosi opens
the door subtly to replace Joe Biden. The Associated Press
is the only one that's still playing the old narrative,
which is, hey, there's a lot on the line today
for his solo news conference. If he blows it, he
should go. If he does well, well, then he should
stay the course. Isn't it amazing? We're a week away

(03:37):
from the Republican convention and we don't even know if
it's Trump versus Biden and Donald Trump himself yesterday chimed
in on who it should be if not Joe Biden,
and it wasn't laughing Kamala.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
We'll have more on that coming up. Aaron Rail's joining us.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
So we're going to talk about investors putting their money
under the mattress no in online accounts?

Speaker 3 (03:58):
Why is that?

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Yes, So it's very popular with twenty to thirty something
years old.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
You're old.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
There's company. There are companies called Juno, Yield Street, Yoda.
These are very fast growing online lenders. They like it
because they charge lower fees and they pay higher interest rates.
They're backed by Silicon Valley's biggest venture capitals. And this
is just an answer to traditional brick and mortar.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
But so much for member FDICE.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
Well no, no, no, I'm glad that you bring that up,
because they claim to be federally insured banks. And again,
an FDIC insured bank means you get two hundred and
fifty thousand of your money back if it goes bankrupt.
This came after the Great Depression. It's one of the
tenants of US consumer protection since the Great Depression. But
it's being tested with these new banks. Long story short,

(04:49):
here's the rub. There was this Finnapps company, and basically
Sinnaps was software that helped move the funds that you,
as a consumer gave to let's say Yoda into another
institution and move it around. But that company went bankrupt,
so it left the account holders that you know at
Yoda elsewhere with nearly three hundred million in cumulative deposits

(05:13):
just missing. They could no longer account for that money.
So long story short, this is fascinating. Although these startups
may look and feel like banks, they're not. They simply
collect the customer's money, they pass it through financial tech
intermediaries like the syn apps that went broke, and then
they put it in old school banks that may have

(05:33):
really really only like two or three physical brank locations.
Let me give you an example. One of the banks
is Evolve Bank and Trust in West Memphis, Arkansas. According
to filings, they're the ones that actually manage the depositors' money,
so they're the ones that are FDIC ensured, not this
Sinnapps company that went broke. And as a result, the

(05:55):
folks who put their money into Evolve, into Yoda, into
all of these online banks can't get it back because
the bank itself didn't fail, the tech that moved the
money around it. It's in bankruptcy court. It's a terrible situation.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
And what we're talking about total assets, how much.

Speaker 4 (06:11):
They think it's about three hundred million. They've gotten some back,
but they're the bankruptcy judges have said there's about and
lawyers and attorneys everyone looking at this. They say there's
about ninety five million in short falls. They probably can't
find and won't find.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
You know what this falls under for me? Tell me, well,
people struggle with faith. I never did. Faith is a gift,
by the way, and you can ask for it. But
I'm fascinated that humans struggle. They say they struggle with
faith when it comes to God. But you're practicing faith
every time you're on a two lane highway, trusting the

(06:45):
guy going sixty miles an hour straight at he's going.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
To stay in his lane.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
Or how about the level of faith maybe stupidity it
takes to just take your money out of a bank
at this level and put it in these unknowns And
here's a three hundred million dollar exam ample of bad faith.
I guess, all right, So how do they sort all
this out?

Speaker 3 (07:04):
I guess the court well, right, theoretically.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
But what's fascinating is that you have the bankruptcy judge.
He's saying that he has no answers. He suggested that
the depositors hire their own lawyer. One woman without this
bankruptcy hearing, she was a depositor. She said she's on
the verge of selling her home to pay her bills.
J Jerome Powell. He's at a big Senate Committee Banking
this week. He said that he has no power over this,

(07:32):
and the FDIC, which is the main banking regulator, declined
to comment. They had a spokesperson that said that the
bankruptcy Trustees are deeply troubled and they are as well.
They have over a thousand complaints and inquiries for those
who have these funds. And actually, what's interesting, Yoda founder
is founded by the son of a very prominent investment banker.

(07:53):
His name's Ken Molis. His son is Adam. He said
that he did take responsibility for trying to resolve the
such situation, but not for causing it. And like, listen,
these this is new technology. It's never been tried, it's
being tried now. And while they can't after great interest rates,
they're actually just funneling your money to a small bank
in Arkansas.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
That is the one that Yeah, so the young people
want to bitcoin, Jerry's still out on that, and you
get mixed reviews daily. They want to get away from
brick and mortar bank. Jerry's not out. In fact, judges
are stumped. That's and it's mainly young people that have
jumped to this, right.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
Mainly mainly young people it's very popular with twenty to
thirty year olds and listen, having a high return on
investments always going to be popular, Like I get it
if he interest rates better. And they actually have like
really slick websites, and the pitch for one of them
is play game is when Big.

Speaker 6 (08:44):
That's Yoda.

Speaker 4 (08:45):
It has this like lottery like system that actually boosts returns.
It's increasingly popular with the younger people.

Speaker 3 (08:52):
And it is legal.

Speaker 4 (08:54):
But here's the thing, it's not tried and tested, and
now we're seeing it tried, and boys.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
It not living up to the test. And boys, could
this add to your story? Next hour?

Speaker 1 (09:02):
Adult children living with their parents I think a few
more might be coming home soon.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
Aarin, talk to you. Next hour. You got it all right?
Fifteen minutes after the hours, we're just waking up.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
These are your top five stories of the day, the
things you need to know waking up. President Biden hosting
his first press conference since last month's disastrous debate, and
since the chorus of Booze telling him to step aside
has been building.

Speaker 3 (09:29):
Mark Mayfield this year with our Today in Politics.

Speaker 7 (09:31):
President Biden is hosting his first press conference since last
month's debate with Donald Trump. This week, the Whitehouse confirmed
Biden will speak with the media on Thursday at five
thirty pm Eastern. It's the first time he's taken questions
solo since November of last year. The press briefing will
be at the Washington Convention Center, where Biden will spend
his third day at the twenty twenty four NATO Summit.

(09:52):
Donald Trump wills soon announced his pick to be his
running made in the twenty twenty four election. The former
president told Fox News Brian Kilmead show he'll unveil.

Speaker 3 (09:59):
His over the next week. I'd love to do it
during the convention.

Speaker 8 (10:02):
You know, in the old days, they did it during
the convention and it kept the convention very exciting. Actually,
So we'll see about that.

Speaker 7 (10:09):
Top potential picks include North Dakota Governor Doug Bergham, Florida
Senator Marco Rubio, and Ohio Senator jd Vance and Vermont's
Peter Welch, the first Senate Democrat too openly call on
Joe Biden to withdraw from the presidential race. This week,
Senator Welch wrote in a Washington Post op and that
Wally has great respect for the President, it's time for
him to step out of the race for the good
of the country. That's politics. Mark Mayfield, NBC News Radio.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
Two quick thoughts.

Speaker 1 (10:32):
I thought yesterday Colorado Senator Michael Bennett was the first
Democrat senator to call in the president just episide.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
I guys will ignore that.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
And the second thing is, every time you hear a
sound by the president, Trump gets me excited about Friday
with forty five tomorrow. Meanwhile, President Biden, after that disastrous
debate and after that even more disastrous make good with
George steppanoff, step Stephanopolisopolis.

Speaker 3 (10:56):
Thanks, got to make him a steps Stephanopolos. There you go.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
He's going to try take three this time with NBC's
Lester Holt. Lisa Taylor reports.

Speaker 6 (11:05):
The interview will air Monday evening at nine pm Eastern.
This comes as the president is undergrowing scrutiny over his
age and whether he can defeat Donald Trump in November.
A handful of House Democrats have called on the President
to drop out of the race and allow another Democrat
to step in. A few vulnerable Senate Democrats, meanwhile, have
said they don't think Biden can win in November. Biden
has doubled down on his commitment to stay in the

(11:26):
race and serve another term. I'm Lisa Taylor.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
Let me get this straight.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
Kevin Costner's Horizon on American Saga, which is what like
almost four hours long?

Speaker 3 (11:35):
Yeah that's just chapter one. Yeah, there's like four or five, right,
are you kidding?

Speaker 5 (11:42):
Well?

Speaker 1 (11:42):
Apparently Chapter two is being pulled from its August release.
Tammy Trahilo is here with the tails.

Speaker 9 (11:47):
The film still remains set for a Theatrica release, with
the new date still to be decided. In a statement
of Variety in New Line, cinema spokesperson said they've decided
not to release the film on August sixteenth in order
to let audiences discover the first installment by either renting
it or watching it on the Mac streaming service. Chapter
one open two eleven million dollars in its first weekend

(12:08):
in theaters and never gained traction at the box office.

Speaker 6 (12:11):
The franchise is.

Speaker 9 (12:12):
Meant to span over four films.

Speaker 3 (12:15):
I'm Tammy Trhio. Those that have gone though, say it's
absolutely fabulous. Not lost in space but trapped, I guess.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
Astronauts on the Boeing star Liner crew say they're comfortable
staying in space. A few more weeks, i'd be you know,
with Boeing on the side of it, I think i'd
be concerned.

Speaker 3 (12:35):
I'm good right where I am.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
NASA gave an update on the crew via telecast to
address delays that turned the week long trip into lasting
over a month so far. Rory O'Neil's gonna have more
on this when he joins us later on. And if
you're looking for a way to beat the heat, well,
it is seven eleven, July, the eleventh. Why not hit
a seven eleven. It's National Slurpy Day. It's held every

(13:01):
year on the eleventh of July and there is no
purchase necessary. I guess if we go to A seven eleven,
the surpees free today. I'm fixing to find out because
you got one in your area.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
Yeah, Delta, they love to fly in at shows. Was
that them flying the friendly skies? No friendly Skies? Was United?
Was that United? Yeah? I'll just go Delta.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
We don't know your slogan, but we're grateful for your
support of Team USA and the twenty twenty four Paris Olympics.

Speaker 3 (13:30):
Michael Casner reports the.

Speaker 10 (13:32):
Company has started airing Team USA commercials on NBC Universal
channels as part of the sponsorship. Some Delta planes have
also been flown with a Team USA paint job on
the side. Delta is also sponsoring fifteen athlete ambassadors as
part of the sponsorship. Some of the athletes will also
be featured on in flight videos on Delta flights the

(13:52):
Paris Olympics begin July twenty sixth.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
I'm Michael Cassner, Major League Baseball, of your morning show
City in Triesta. The Seattle Mayrine one two to nothing
over the Padres, d Bax one seven to five over
the Braves. Everybody else lost, Rays lost two to one
of the Yankees. NAT's lost six to two to the Mets.
Guardians lost five four to the Tigers. That's two in
a row to the Tigers. Oh my, Rangers lost seven
to two to the Angels, and the Cardinals, not to

(14:17):
be outdone, lost two yesterday six four, eight five. Both
of the Royals birthdays today. Designer Giorgio Armani ninety years old,
Bon Jovi's Richie Sambora sixty five years old, SO Star
Lisa Arena is sixty one an NFL star Joey Bosa
is twenty nine and if Sure birthday, Happy birthday, So
glad you were born, and thanks for waking up with

(14:40):
your morning show.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
This is your morning show with Michael del Chono. So
many ways to communicate with us.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
You can always call eight hundred and six eight eight
ninety five twenty two old fashion email Michael di at
iHeartMedia dot com. And if you're listening on the iHeartRadio app,
you'll see a little microphone.

Speaker 3 (14:56):
Press it.

Speaker 1 (14:57):
That's a talkback button. You can comment on anything we're
talking about. We get it instantly, we can share it
with the class. A lot of people like to record
their I'm so and so from such and such, and
my morning show is your morning show, your way of
introducing yourself here at the kitchen table. There's been a
lot of negative framing of Project twenty five.

Speaker 3 (15:17):
By the left.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
I'm looking over just some of the headlines Project twenty
twenty five, A wish list for Trump, Project twenty twenty five.

Speaker 3 (15:24):
What's in it? What's in it?

Speaker 1 (15:26):
CNN reporter breaks down Trump's platform versus Project twenty twenty five.
Gay Fury hackers claim credit for hacking Herodage. I mean,
just it's been such a buzz if you haven't been
following it, and because you know how can Heritage get
a fair shake anyway in terms of media attention, the

(15:47):
lack of understanding of what it is, and then all
of the narrative attacks, including from politicians against it now
that they know what it is or what's in it,
and of course they oppose it, has created a lot
of confusion and I think out of everything. Since we
started your morning show, I've been getting more and more
emails to explain this. So Hans von Spakovski is going

(16:09):
to be joining us from the Heritage Foundation. The left
is on a full narrative attack of Project twenty twenty five,
false claims, Trump's associations and conflations.

Speaker 3 (16:21):
What is it?

Speaker 1 (16:22):
What is Project twenty twenty five, What are the real
policy solutions? And four pillars that it brings forth in
its one hundred day policy playbook. We're going to talk
to Hans about that next hour, and if you're not
available next hour, don't forget the podcast. In the iHeart
section will be hour two of today's show, commercial Free

(16:43):
waiting for you, and then all eyes around the president.
Does he get one last chance to look presidential today
before NATO leaders with his solo news conference or have
other leftist voices as well as their narrative news sites
already made a predetermination that he must go.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
Hi. It's Michael.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
Your Morning show can be heard on great radio stations
across the country like News Talk ninety two point one
and six hundred WREC and Memphis, Tennessee, or thirteen hundred
The Patriot Tulsa, our Talk six to fifty KSTE in Sacramento, California.
We invite you to listen live while you're getting ready
in the morning. It did take us along for the
drive to work, but as we always say, better late
than never. Thanks for joining us for the podcast Horizon China.

(17:29):
Get prepared to leave the house, especially on the East Coast.
Dian Michael del Jerner and this is your morning show.
I love our one on one time. Seems like yesterday
and it's probably been a week and a half or
two weeks ago. We asked them the main question, can
Joe Biden go down without taking the Senate and the
House further with him? That was really the question of

(17:53):
the hour. If everybody cuts through all the distractions, and
I think you're getting the answer to that, getting the
answer to that in polls, and you're getting in the
answer to that and all the pressure to get him
to step aside, there's the chorus from Hollywood. George Clooney
was added to Meathead Rob Reiner and John Stewart of
The Daily Show. I don't know how many times we're
gonna do newscasts and call it a first Democrat senator

(18:16):
come forward asking the president to step down. But we
had Colorado Senator Michael Bennett yesterday. Today we have Vermont
Senator Peter Welsh, and you have the subtlety of Nancy
Pelosi now kind of, you know, intimating this would be
a good time.

Speaker 3 (18:33):
Are you sure your final answer?

Speaker 1 (18:39):
Are they finally answering the question we were asking over
a week ago? Are they finally understanding the polls that
this is not just a Joe Biden problem. Now, keep
in mind, none of them care about you. None of
them care about the collective. We the one nation under God,
indivisible with pretty injustice for all, and the freedom in

(19:03):
a free, fair election to choose our leaders and give
our consent for governance. They care about power and control.
So one of the original narratives were, well, it's definitely
a Joe Biden problem. After all, look at Joe Biden's numbers.
But then look at how people are polling within states. Okay,

(19:26):
let's in Pennsylvania. Now, keep in mind Donald Trump's lead
continues to grow in Pennsylvania, looking like the twenty sixteen map.
Pennsylvania's nice for Donald Trump, it's necessary for Joe Biden.
That's why he's constantly there. Well, not only is Donald
Trump leading in Pennsylvania, but Casey his lead is down

(19:51):
to one against McCormick. This is what's got Democrats nervous.
There's no way to knownavigate this where Biden loses and
they still control what really matters Congress Ohio Senator Brown.
I mean, Brown is like I well, like the Brown

(20:13):
football name in Ohio. And Brown's lead is down to six,
believe it or not. Now, I don't think Brown's gonna
have any trouble hanging on there. But the notion that
in Ohio, Brown's lead against Marino is down to six,
there's a reason why you keep hearing from Tester in Montana.

(20:38):
She he now leads Tester by five. In Nevada, Rosen's
lead over Brown is now down to two. In Arizona,
it's a dead heat. Lake is right there, nose and
nose Wisconsin. Wisconsin is now a dead heat between Baldwin

(21:04):
and Hovi. Michigan. This is unthinkable, right that Donald Trump
could win Michigan twice twenty sixteen and twenty twenty four. Oh,
He's leading in Michigan. And in the Senate, Slockin's lead
is down to four within the margin of error. Texas

(21:26):
Ted Cruise is up by ten, rocking and rolling. They
clearly can see the polls. They can clearly now as
we head into the Republican convention and their Chicago convention
after can see if they ever had a notion. Look,

(21:46):
we can't make a switch right now. And unless Joe dies,
they're his delegates. And if he doesn't release him, he
doesn't release him. Remember when we were thinking, are they
staging this to have him turn around and look like,
you know, really shine today in his solo news conference.
I don't think Trump would be foolish enough to do
a second debate. But if he did and then shine

(22:08):
in the second debate, is this all a big tug
of war? Should he should he stay? Should he go?
Is it denials it defiance just to create him stepping
aside and a good old fashioned exciting convention ending in
a two fresh faces and a bunch of unity. No
one knows, but what we do know is the answer

(22:32):
to the question can Joe Biden go down and not
take senators with him?

Speaker 3 (22:36):
Is no.

Speaker 1 (22:38):
And that's why this chorus is going to continue to build.
As for their voices, the people that take cues from
their leftist narratives, well, Axios is.

Speaker 3 (22:48):
Still the most relentless.

Speaker 1 (22:51):
George Clooney shares devastating feedback on Biden. This is a
big blanken deal. Three weeks ago at a fundraiser, it
was not the Joe.

Speaker 3 (23:05):
Not the Joe. I know, whisper whisper whisper.

Speaker 1 (23:10):
Tester Brown Bennett tell fellow Democrats they think Biden can't win.
Then you go to the Washington Post. Their headline this morning,
Joe Biden should provide evidence he can beat Trump. Washington Post.
Pelosi opens the door subtly to replacing Joe Biden. Only

(23:34):
the Associated Press is at least sticking to the weak
narrative of and I mean week is in w E
E K, although it is also weak. This week's narrative, well,
he's got this NATO solo news conference, and if he
does well there, if he looks presidential there. Well, that'll

(23:55):
erase the debate, and that'll erase meathead Rob Reiner, John Stuart,
George Clooney, Senator Bennett, Senator Welsh, Nancy Pelosi. I don't
think so, but at least ap sticking to that. Biden's
press conference will be a key test for him. But

(24:17):
he's no master of the big rhetorical moment. Even that's
kind of got a jab in it, doesn't it. President
Biden's press conference on Thursday offers him a fresh opportunity
to try to prove to the American people that he's

(24:37):
capable to serve another four years. Well, the American people
are speaking in polls and they'll speak clearly in November.
Joe Biden is really auditioning for whoever is really running
the White House, or the Hollywood constituents that have turned
on him, or the Senate and House constituents that have
turned on him.

Speaker 3 (24:57):
Really isn't about the people yet.

Speaker 1 (25:00):
Bottom line is they're seeing the polls and they're seeing
Joe can't win, and he's taking down and listen the
kind of losses. It's looking like it's marching towards that
would erase decades of leftist achievement and growth. That's why

(25:25):
they're panicked. They don't care about you, they don't care
about America. They care about their parties control and power,
and Joe's denial or defiance is threatening that. That's what's
really going on. Waking up this morning, so we'll see

(25:45):
how does Joe do you know? We talk about these
hours that Joe's apparently operational, and it's roughly ten am
to two pm. This will be five thirty pm the
solo news conference, So it's certainly not It is optimal
window Armans which, by the way, if you're enjoying this show,
you ought to see me between nine and noon Central.
That's my optimal window about oh yeah, performance, you know. So,

(26:09):
I mean, obviously it could be a disaster, But the
reality is, does Joe know he's going?

Speaker 3 (26:16):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (26:17):
Is Joe refusing to go? Is he in denial? Does
he really think he can win? Is he just being
defiant as he was after getting an office. I don't know,
but that seems to be the Tugawa tug of war.
And more and more join the chorus for Joe to go,
and the polls now back. It's not just a Joe

(26:38):
Biden problem. Can't wait to share that. That's my favorite
story of the day, some exclusive battleground polling. It's not
just Joe. And by the way, that'll be a nice
lead in to my visit with Hans von Spakowsky. The
left is trying to reposition and narrativize Heritage Project twenty
twenty five. They're trying to conflate it with Donald Trump,

(26:59):
trying to put all kinds of demonized policy in there.
I mean, there's just searching for something. What is the
True Project twenty twenty five, What are its four pillars?
What is it's one hundred day policy playbook? And who
came up with it? And who does it belong to?

Speaker 9 (27:15):
Breton Franklin, Tennessee My Morning Show is Your Morning Show
with Michael del John.

Speaker 3 (27:20):
Of fifteen minutes after the hour.

Speaker 1 (27:23):
Frankly Well, the chorus of Democrats calling for President Biden
to exit the twenty twenty four race is growing louder.

Speaker 3 (27:33):
Mark Mayfield has more.

Speaker 7 (27:34):
New York's Pat Ryan on Wednesday became the eighth congressional
Democrat calling for Biden to step aside in a New
York Times op and on Wednesday, longtime Democrat George Clooney
pleaded for Biden to withdraw. He said he recently hosted
a fundraiser for the president and noted he was not
the Joe Biden of twenty ten or even the Joe
Biden of twenty twenty. Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stopped

(27:56):
short of saying Biden should remain in the presidential election,
even after Biden just said he's staying poot. Pelosi said
the decision is up to the president. I'm Mark Neefield.

Speaker 3 (28:05):
He may not even be the president he was twenty
minutes ago.

Speaker 1 (28:08):
President Biden's top campaign advisors will meet with Senate Democrats
today as Democrat lawmakers are growing concerned about Biden's candidacy.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
Lisa Taylor has.

Speaker 6 (28:17):
More senior advisors, Mike Donalan se Berschetti, and Biden campaign
chair gen O'Malley. Dillon will join a special caucus lunch
meeting at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. The meeting comes
after Democratic Senators John Tester, Shared Brown and Michael Bennett
have said they think Biden will lose to Donald Trump
in the general election and hurt the party's chances of
holding the Senate. Tester and Brown are two of the

(28:37):
most vulnerable Senate Democrats. A handful of House Democrats, meanwhile,
have called on Biden to drop out of the race.
I'm we, said Taylor.

Speaker 1 (28:44):
Meanwhile, President Trump will soon announce his pick as a
running mate for the twenty twenty four election. Brian shook
me all night long has more with our Road to
the White House.

Speaker 2 (28:53):

in the twenty twenty four election, the former president told
Fox News is Brian Killmead Show. He'll unveil his pick
over the next week.

Speaker 3 (29:08):

Speaker 8 (29:10):

the convention and it kept the convention very exciting. Actually,
So we'll see about that, but pretty soon we'll be announcing.

Speaker 2 (29:19):
Top potential picks include North Dakota Governor Doug Burgham, Florida
Senator Marco Rubio, and Ohio Senator jd.

Speaker 3 (29:26):
Vance.

Speaker 2 (29:27):
Trump also ramped up attacks on current Vice President Kamala
Harris with the growing pressure on President Biden to drop
out of the race. In Washington, I'm Brian shook.

Speaker 3 (29:39):
There is three we.

Speaker 1 (29:40):
Can rule out, I think safely. Okay, play your button
Nicky eighty.

Speaker 3 (29:48):
Well, yeah, sorry, I wasn't ready for that one. Shits
I gave you to do. There are three we can
rule out right now. Nicky Haley, Nicky Haley, Nicky Haley.

Speaker 1 (29:58):
But who are the top picks? North Dakota Governor Doug
Bergham would be high on that list. Senator Marco Rubio
seems to be the most teased. When it came to
Ohio Senator JD.

Speaker 3 (30:07):
Vance.

Speaker 1 (30:09):
He actually said he looks like a young Lincoln with
a beard. Ooh, that was very Friday with forty five.
Trump also ramped up attacks on the current Vice president,
Kamala Harris.

Speaker 8 (30:18):
You know, you got some good people, and I have
changed a little bit, but you have. They're all great.
Anyone would be fantastic. Anyone would be a lot better
than laughing Kamala. She's terrible. Kamala is just terrible.

Speaker 1 (30:35):
Alec Baldwin's involuntary manslaughter trial in New Mexico continues today.

Speaker 3 (30:39):
Tammy Turhilo reports.

where Baldwin is asked not to talk to crew members
but could later be seen talking to at least three
of them. He faces eighteen months in jail if convicted.

(31:01):
The weapons armorer on the set was sentenced earlier this
year to the maximum of eighteen months for involuntary manslaughter.
I'm Tammy Trihia. One of my favorite comedians is Nate Bargozzi.
His father's also a magician and very funny. He's from
here in Nashville, now of national fame, but he does
a bit where he just goes by the way, I'm
from the nineteen hundreds, and it's just so stupid. It's funny,

(31:24):
but because everything's so futuristic to say, I'm from the
ninth I'm from the nineteen hundreds, and I remember cigarette machines,
I remember candy machines, but seriously, AMO vending machines. Well,
they're starting to pop up across the country. Texas based
American Rounds has already installed at least one in their

(31:45):
home state of Texas. Added to that, several in Oklahoma
and Alabama. Florida and Colorado could also see them installed
in coming weeks. Buyers, of course, must be twenty one
and show photo ID so AI can scan their facial
match and they can just get AMMO as conveniently as possible.

Speaker 3 (32:05):
Well, thank you.

Speaker 1 (32:05):

this a slogan? Right now? I think it is speed, safety,
and comfort. I haven't seen a commercial, don't you reminded

(32:58):
of that?

Speaker 8 (32:59):
Right?

Speaker 1 (32:59):
But earlier I said we loved to fly in at
shows and that was them. Yeah, that was their I
think that was their best one. We loved to fly
in at shows, and they loved the Olympics and it
shows there. I got it all in there. Bad day
