Dems are officially too radical left for American voters!

Can President Trump block the Washington Commanders from using that name on their stadium? Will the administration be able to stop sending billions to Harvard? Those are two topics making headlines this week and National Correspondent RORY O’NEILL will have the latest on both.

your morning routine. In the meantime, enjoy the podcast starting
your morning off right.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
A new way of talk, a new way of understanding,
because we're in this together.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
This is your Morning Show with Michael Dell Charman. All right,
Trump administration releasing two hundred and thirty thousand documents related
to Martin Luther King Junior's assassination files. We have the
Cosby Show actor Malcolm Jamal Warner, a current taking him
out to see where he'd round at the age of
fifty four. Just a tragic death, and then the beautiful bill.

(01:01):
According to the CBO, we'll add trillions to the national debt.
According to their latest report just some of the headlines.
Waking up this morning, and welcome to Tuesday, the twenty
second of July Coldplay concert night, where I believe the
heat indecks will be one hundred degrees at the beginning
of the concert. Is there any question in anyone's mind

(01:27):
that a medical emergency personnel will be taking me from
the grounds of the concert. Eventually, we'll try to stay
cool and enjoy the show, and we look forward to
the kisscam. All right, if you're just waking up, can't
have your morning show without your voice. I can't remember
who was first. I think Roger was first.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
Let's go with Roger, Barnie, Michael, Jeffrey and Red. A
quick comment about Hunter Biden, some of the things he says.
I mean, he's absolutely crazed and drug addled, and so
he's not to be taken serious. But poor guys, very delusional.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
But I had an observation.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
About his voice and his voice pattern. He sounds just
like David Spade to me. So when the docu drama
needs to be done, I suggest using David Spade as
Hunter Biden.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
Have a good day. We're gonna go from I mean,
everybody forgets this Dana Carvey's Joe Biden was just a
highlight of the entire election season. But Roger thinks we
need to make the switch to David Spade when we
go to Hunter, Biden.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
Kim Kim and everybody round nice number one. I agree
with Quentin Tarantino. Jordan Clooney is not.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
I forgot who was next?

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Now Perry all the F bombs coming from the Democrats
in the left. I don't use that kind of language.
I don't put up with paper rama using that kind
of language on my job. To me, that is a
sign of unintelligence, a sign of I can't compete with you.
Well that you need to, So I'm going to use profanity.

(03:02):
Love you show brother.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Well, I I mean I think that I think you speak.
It speaks for itself what you said. The reason that
you know this seems to be a common thing from
the left. I mean, we have Stephen Colbert on the
same day of all the F bombs from Hunter with
this this is his big finish, Trump posted.

Speaker 5 (03:25):
I absolutely love that Colbert got fired.

Speaker 4 (03:29):
His talent was even less than his ratings.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
How how how dare you, sir?

Speaker 4 (03:40):
Would an untalented man be able to compose the following
satirical witticism.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Yeah, Sam, I mean that's kind of a common theme
this party. The wheels have come off, as James Carvel said,
and he may be accurate. It's a it's a cracked
out clown car Mary next.

Speaker 6 (04:01):
About what Hunter Biden said about the debate that his
Joe Biden's aides gave him ambient Prior to that debate,
who are these aides who.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Are giving drugs to the President of the United States?

Speaker 6 (04:15):
And was it a prescription of his was it a
prescription of one of theirs? I mean, I think we
should all know who's giving drugs to the president. And
were there other times when this was just you know,
our standard operating procedure that you.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
Drug up the point, I'm afraid you ran out of time. Mary,
we had to ashure you off the stage. Look, if
we're not going to find out who the president actually
was for four years, do we think we're going to
find out who was giving drugs to the president? And
never mind ambient, what about when they were shooting them
up with adrenaline where he looked like a walking zombie
shuffling on to stage. There's just you know, looking back,

(04:54):
it is It's surreal that we lived at, isn't it.
But where does this leave the party? I think you know,
that whole f bomb tie rate of hunters shows all
the divisions, divisions within the Democrat Party, whether it's the
Obama camp and the Trump camp, whether it's the Carvel camp,
or in the case of biden Ate, the Carvel camp

(05:16):
and the axel Rod camp and the Obama camp. And
then you have and I'll remember Lieutenant Colonel James Carafano
saying it today because it really made a little detector
go off in my head. He's predicting an Islamist party
in the United States by the end of the decade.

(05:37):
Maybe that's what Mom Donnie is all about. And maybe
the socialist our first goal is destroyed. The Democrat Party
is making a strange bedfellow there. In other words, AOC.
That's the silent thing we haven't said all day, and
that is there is no leader for the Democrat Party.

(05:57):
There is no message for the Democrat Party. They're simply
obstructionists and deranged syndrome f bombers. That's a shame. There
was a time when I was a kid there wasn't
that much difference between Republicans and Democrats. Now they're not
even on the same planet, let alone anywhere sharing the

(06:19):
intent of the Declaration of Independence, the roadmap of the Constitution,
or inalienable rights and self evident truths. It's really scary.
I mean, the matrix is a serious disease. So we
see that this party has nothing in common with most

(06:40):
of America, has nothing in common even with itself, and
it's imploding before our very eyes. And yet reality rolls on.
So how does this impact the midterms? We'll look at
that poll here in a second, and in the next
presidential election. Only because history repeats itself until it's addressed.

(07:00):
I suspect twenty sixteen, twenty twenty, and twenty twenty four
are all going to play out in twenty twenty eight,
and that is Bernie's handed the torch to AOC. She'll
be the early leader and doesn't even know it, but
she may have thrown New York into chaos with a
communist mayor whose real intent is to start an Islamist party.

(07:22):
I mean, you really can't make this stuff up. But
let's start first things first, Where does this lead the
Democrat Party? No leader? An open mic for anybody to take,
whether it's Mom Donni for two weeks, Hunter Biden today,
Joe Biden yesterday. Well to the Tip poll, we go.

(07:45):
The Democrat Party's attempt to resist President Trump is backfiring.
It's really obstruct, not resist. But all right, a plurality
of American adults now believe the one time party of
the center has gone too far left. We knew that
with the twenty four presidential election result, and we knew

(08:08):
that issue by issue, you need to pivot back towards
the American people on the border, You need to pivot
back towards the American people on the middle class. You
need to pivot back towards the American people on national
security and peace through strength. But they refuse to, and
they're doubling down further left. Now. The question that is

(08:29):
asked is very important and I like it. Do you
think the Democrat Party has become too radical in its
views and policies? That's pretty straightforward, A strong plurality. Forty
five percent of the respondent said yes, this is a
party perceived as too radical and too far left. Thirty

(08:55):
six percent said no, it's not too far left. That's
about the size and I mean that's about the exact
size of the too far left portion of the Democrat Party.
And if you put the eighteen percent that say they're
not sure, there's AOC's early lead and maybe enough to

(09:19):
win the nomination, and in doing so, the party's done.
And if they forced Ronney Manuel or Wes Moore the
way they forced Joe Biden, the way they forced Hillary Clinton,
the way they forced Kamala Harris, in other words, cheat
their own Democrat voters out of selecting their nominee, well
then they're really going to die either way. They're out

(09:43):
of step with the American people, and their future looks
certain to end. Among Democrats, sixty four percent answered no,
it's not too radical, while twenty two percent said yes,
it's too radical. Now that's after because remember a disproportional

(10:05):
amount of Democrats have become independents than Republicans have become independent.
I have to be a Republican that became independent. And
there's still twenty two percent that are still in the umbrella,
still in the tent, and they're saying it's too radical. Republicans,
of course, completely see them as crazy. Seventy three percent.
Only sixteen percent of Republicans don't think the Democrats are

(10:25):
too radical. Twenty two percent of Democrats think they become
too radical. Independence where do they fall, well, forty percent
say they're too radical, that's the tiebreaker. Thirty three percent
say no. So there's a nine percent proclivity to be
too radical overall, and even among independents a seven percent.

(10:51):
And clearly, what you need, whether it's a midterm or
a presidential election cycle, you need unity and you need
energy because that's what drives votes. They don't have either.
In fact, they've never been more divided. They've never been
in more war with themselves. They've never lacked a leader,

(11:13):
a voice, or a plan more and all they got
are f bombs flying on television and from sons on podcasts.
Here's another interesting question. Should Democrats in Congress work with
President Trump when possible or should they focus on resisting

(11:34):
his agenda? In other words, should we live in a
matrix and get nothing do? This isn't checks and balances,
This is dysfunction. Overall, voters preferred for congressional Democrats to
work with Trump rather than simply oppose this agenda. Forty
six percent said work with him, nineteen percent said resist him.
So this leaderless messageless resistance Trump derangements, it's failing, miserably

(12:06):
summed up, that means an overwhelming seventy two percent would
like to see Democrats cooperate with Trump, but they're not.
Among Democrats those who want to work with Trump nineteen
percent plus those who want to work with him depending
on the issue thirty seven percent. Republicans, not surprisingly overwhelmingly

(12:33):
eighty percent want them to work with US Independence lineup
at thirty six percent. Work with Trump. They're out of
step with the political landscape, They're out of step with
the American people, and in some cases they're even out
of step within their cracked out clown car. And then,

(12:54):
to make matters even worse, the Democrats have big challenges
on the midterm map, especially concerning the US Senate, and
this is at a time of a civil war within
their party. They need to net four seats to retake

(13:15):
the majority of the US Senate. Most of the twenty
twenty six contests are in states that Republicans and Donald
Trump easily won in November. That makes it a very
uphill battle. Democrats see reasons for hope in Republican challenges.
They include a nasty primary in Texas that could jeopardize
the seat of Republican held for decades. In North Carolina

(13:36):
and Georgia, the GOP still lacks a clear field of candidates.
Trump's influence dials up the uncertainty as he decides whether
it deflects his influential endorsements. I've always had a sense
that Donald Trump was going to complete his agenda prior
to the midterm election. And the second half of his
second term is the midterm election, that is his reelection

(14:00):
Bain and then finally, our last poll is gallup and
that's confidence in US institutions, and for the Democrats, it's
sank to a new low. Americans average confidence across institutions
remains near the lowest and forty six years shouldn't surprise you.

(14:20):
We had a lack of trust in institutions. We had
a lot of divisions similar to this in the late sixties,
and then later in the seventies we kind of put
that behind us with Ronald Reagan, but it's back. This
is the fourth consecutive year of a sub thirty percent
average on average across nine institutions. Democrats' confidence as low

(14:43):
as twenty six percent. That's down five percent Republicans is
only a thirty seven percent. Gallup first measured confidence in
key US institutions on a limited number of institutions in
nineteen seventy three, but since nineteen seventy nine the nine
institutions have been tracked. This year marks only the second
time the Democrats' average confidence has fallen below thirty What

(15:06):
are those military, Democrats? Confidence in our military is just
forty four percent, down twenty one to Republicans, eighty eight
percent for Independence fifty nine percent. In the office of
the Presidency eighty percent for independents, it's nineteen percent. For
Democrats it's three percent. Confidence in the presidency, they're only

(15:29):
confident the presidency when they're in it. Police is at
eighty percent, But boy is that partisan. Eighty percent for
Republicans twenty nine percent for Democrats. Is there?

Speaker 7 (15:46):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (15:46):
By the way, religious organizations Republicans sixty four percent, Democrats
twenty one percent, Supreme Court forty eight percent Republicans, sixteen
percent Democrats. These institutions are only trusted when they're in charge.
In the case of the Supreme Court, that one might

(16:09):
hold because of its makeup, even when there's a Democrat
president Banks is the closest thing we come to agreeing
on anything in the medical system, and even them, they're
both in the thirties. The criminal justice system is low
twenty seven percent Republicans, fourteen percent Democrats, higher education twenty
six Republicans, sixty one percent Democrats. And in all of

(16:36):
this you can see where the Democrat I mean, if
the Democrats are failing themselves anywhere. It's small business. I know,
I got a break, but you can see everywhere they're
warring in this the presidency, higher education because he's coming
after the colleges. You know what all the foles point

(17:00):
two a very divided nation, and one side of the
divide is even divided amongst itself. That Chappol's a plenty
for this Tuesday, July the twenty second, twenty twenty five.

Speaker 3 (17:12):
I'm Daniel Colsey and Tampa and my morning show is
Your Morning Show with Michael del joram.

Speaker 5 (17:22):
Hi.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
It's me Michael. Your Morning show can be heard live
daily on great radio stations like News Radio six fifty
k e NI Anchorage, Alaska, Talk Radio eleven ninety Dallas
Fort Worth, and Freedom one oh four seven in Washington,
d C. We'd love to have you listen live every
day and make us a part of your morning routine.
But better late than never. Enjoy the podcast. Trump administration
releasing two hundred and thirty thousand documents related to the

(17:45):
Martin Luther King Junior assassination. The Pentagon says it's going
to withdraw hundreds of US Marines from Los Angeles, and
the Cosby actor Malcolm Jamal Warner dead at the age
of fifty four. Just some of the top stories we're
covering this morning. Can't have your morning show without your voice.
There are several ways to communicate with us. One is
through email Michael d at iHeartMedia dot com. Stephen Colbert's

(18:10):
F bomb was the verbal equivalent of the playground argument
for a kid who decides to just take his ball
and go home. Well, actually that's when you quit and
take your ball and go home. He got fired and
took his ball and had to go home. Kathy writes Michael.
The FDA needs to investigate our water system. Some are

(18:31):
finding medical waste from abortion pill abortions. All the fetal
and pill residue are being found in the systems. These
wastewater systems are not equipped to process this material. That's
been an ongoing story for some time. This one's a
strange twist. Colbert is losing forty million dollars a year.
The NBA is propped up by the NBA forty million

(18:55):
dollars a year. When The Late Show finally gets a
toe tag, well, the WNBA see some unwarranted pay increases.
I like how they're propped up by the NBA, and
they got the nerve to wear a T shirt saying
we want equal pay. Shouldn't they have to be paying
the lead? How could you miss that iron name? Another

(19:15):
way to communicate with your awarding show is through our
talkback button. If you're listening on the iHeart appter's a microphone.
Press it, it'll count you down three two one. Then
it gives you thirty seconds to make a comment or
ask a question. That's where we found Wes Hello, Michael.

Speaker 8 (19:32):
I think it's absolutely scary that a majority of the
Democratic Party will not work with Donald Trump, even though
they agree with what he's trying to do. Do these
people not care about this country?

Speaker 1 (19:47):
Well, that's a that's a double answer, right, So part
of it is that's how differently they view this country,
out of step with the American people. And then part
of it is, yeah, they really only support their worldview.
It's one of the great ironies in the name of tolerance,

(20:12):
the people selling tolerance have been the most intolerant all along.
That's why I think, out of all of our observations
today worth repeating was the first one, which was why
do I always say the death of journalism was twenty sixteen,
not because that's when bias began. I spent twenty five

(20:32):
years revealing bias. Twenty sixteen was the first year they
didn't care. You saw it. They came right out and said,
this guy will never win. I'll never win, and they
mocked him, and they mocked him, and then he won.
They wept on the air, they went on a tantrum,
and then they went on a quest to destroy him.

(20:55):
They sold you it was to save democracy. It was
to get them back power, because they're only tolerant of
their own views, no one else's. They're way or the highway.
So if death of journalism played out with they don't
care what you see that you know the media's in

(21:19):
the back pocket of the Democrat Party, that the intelligence
and the universities and common education, or in the back
pocket of the Democrat Party, that the unions used to
be in the back pocket of the Democrat Party. That
they're anti Israel, anti American, anti capitalist, pro socialist, pro
any other cultural or religion but our own. In other words,

(21:44):
they really do think you're deplorable. They're not in this
for America. So if the death of journalism was waging
war and not caring, that you see their true intent
and motive. Maybe the death of the Democrat Party is
the same way. That's the ugliness of what you're really seeing. Uh,

(22:05):
did we do Austin and Saint Louis? Austin and Saint Louis,
It is a good morning, Michael.

Speaker 9 (22:11):
I think that the swearing and all the cussing by
the lift is their attempt to be more masculine and madly.

Speaker 1 (22:22):
Maybe they were following Barack Obama's as.

Speaker 7 (22:27):
Well.

Speaker 1 (22:27):
Don't forget Barack Obama wants all of our kids to
be mentored by a gay man. That's a whole other
strange choice. This week, well, let's let's lump our our
cursing together. This one was from Nashville. Actually, there was
a study done the people that use the F word
are actually.

Speaker 7 (22:43):
Highly intelligent, even though your lost person.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
Might not like the way it sounds. People that actually
use the order highly intelligent. It's kind of scary. Well,
then Richard Nixon was very intelligent. That's a I got
to tell you something. All those tapes, that's the most
shocking is language. I just ever thought TikTok like that.

(23:08):
You know, it's funny you bring that up, because I
think that's the sad part. I wish there was a
way to edit this audio of Hunter Biden and do
it in such a way that there's no f's, because
I think you're missing by only hearing the f's, you're

(23:28):
missing what he's really revealing, the content.

Speaker 4 (23:32):
Everybody around him. I would have to be nice. Number one,
I agree with Quentin Tarantino. George Clooney is not an actor.

Speaker 1 (23:40):
He is a all right. So again, it's revealing a
division between the Biden coalition, or the corrupt coalition behind
the fake presidency of Joe Biden, including this despicable son
is at odds with the Hollywood elite because they dared

(24:01):
to not play the game, a game orchestrated by Kamala Harris.
For the sake of saving our democracy. We have to
get behind Joe Biden. Then this was the ultimate trick.
She got everybody to play along, all the ones that
are pleading the fifth now always fine, He's never been sharper,
the mainstream media that lose his all credibility, or even

(24:21):
George Clooney in Hollywood who questioned, how dare you not
play the game now? Once all those people came out
and said, Joe's great, Joe's great, Joe's great, then they
orchestrated a debate that never should have happened that early,
where he looked cognitively impaired, so they could take all
of his electoral votes, give them to Kamala Harris, and

(24:44):
all of the opponents that would have risen in an
open primary had already stepped aside. Kamala tells him to
step aside. They do, tell everybody Biden's great, They do,
and then she steals the nomination. Or how about this,

(25:04):
never mind all the F bombs, This is the president's son.
Some even think hey and Joe Biden were making a
lot of decisions when Joe Biden wasn't president. This is
their views on open borders, This is their views on
law and order. Forget the f's listen to the content.

(25:28):
That's the most damning thing for the Democrats.

Speaker 4 (25:31):
These Democrats say, you have to talk about and realize
that people are really upset about illegal immigration. You, how
do you think your hotel room gets cleaned? How do
you think you got food on your table? Who do
you think washes your dishes? Who do you think does
your garden? By the way, who is this guy that's
interviewing him. He looks like a family man character or

(25:53):
something from a cartoon, and he's.

Speaker 1 (25:55):
Just nodding along with This guy's making great sense. We
had to call it earlier, say this is what the
Democrats used to say when they defended slavery. Well, I've
said the inner cities they're insurrectionists. They're not just out
a step with the American people, they're all out of insurrectionists.

(26:17):
And they've played the insurrection card in the past, and
they're going to play it again. And if there's going
to be a civil war again, this is going to
be the issue, and the battlefield is going to be
our inner cities. And here's the sun. Sure you're distracted
by f bombs instead of word salads, but he's kind
of given you how out of step they are. With
the American people on national security, border security, and law enforcement.

Speaker 5 (26:42):
Who do you think is here by the sheer, just
grit and will that they've figured out a way to
get here because they thought that they could give themselves
in their family a better chance.

Speaker 1 (26:55):
Now the biggest problem, of course, is they need Hunter Biden,
Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and probably Mom Donnie'd all go away.
But they won't. And neither will AOC, neither will the squad,
nowither will Jasmine Crockett. And remember the poll we put

(27:15):
with this, The majority of the American people think this
party's too radical. This is These are the death gurgles
of a dying party, and they don't care that you're
witnessing it, just like when the death of journalism didn't
care you were witnessing it. Keep those talkbacks coming in,

(27:36):
those emails, cockback button on your iHeart app and the
emails at Michael d atiheartmedia dot com. All right. Top
five stories of the day, Numero uno. The White House
is blaming policies a former President Joe Biden for the
shooting of an off duty Border patrol officer in New
York City.

Speaker 10 (27:52):
Spokesports in Caroline Levitt says Biden's immigration policies allowed for
the suspect any illegal immigrant to enter the US and
roam free.

Speaker 11 (28:00):
Tragedy that took place over the weekend at the hands
of yet another a legal alien invader who is allowed
into our country and released by the Biden administration.

Speaker 10 (28:10):
Levitzent it's cases like these that led to Trump's twenty
twenty four victory. The officer we're shot in the face,
but is still expected to survive.

Speaker 1 (28:17):
I'm Mark Mayfield. An agreement between the Trump administration and
lawyers for kill mar Garcia has reportedly been reached. Brian
Shook reports.

Speaker 12 (28:24):
His attorneys are asking that any ruling to release him
be delayed by thirty days so that they can evaluate
their options. The legal team says that the Department of
Justice isn't objecting to their request. The DOJ has said
that Abrago Garcia would be picked up by ICE agents
if he's released from custody. He's facing human smuggling charges

(28:45):
in Tennessee. I'm Brian Shook.

Speaker 1 (28:47):
The Ivy League is taking on the Trump administration over
frozen federal research funding.

Speaker 7 (28:53):
A US district judge in Massachusetts hurt a case over
Harvard's request that the funding freeze be declared on lawful.
The Justice Department says Anti Semitism and Dei run Harvard's campus,
so the school is not entitled to the two point
six billion dollars in federal funds. Harvard said the funding
freeze puts the research of multiple fields at risk, and

(29:13):
several other Ivy League universities, including Princeton and Yale, have
filed court briefs in support of the school. I'm Chris Kraahio.

Speaker 1 (29:21):
Please continue to look into whoever vandalized AOC's congressman Congressional
Bronx office. Yes, a crazy leftists attacked what many think
is a crazy leftist within the party.

Speaker 11 (29:31):
Red paint, apparently intended to symbolize blood, was discovered splattered
all over the front of AOC's campaign office on Herschel
Street and Westchester Square overnight Monday. A sign was also
tied to the metalgate reading AOC funds genocide and Gaza.
The incident led to AOC canceling an event and Jackson
Heights campaign manager Oliver Hidalgo, our priorities.

Speaker 1 (29:53):
Just to make sure that our team is safe, the
congressman is safe, and of course the folks our neighborhood are.

Speaker 11 (29:58):
Residents are surprised that aosc See would be targeted over
the war in Gaza.

Speaker 1 (30:02):
She's on the left and she's as pro palestinting as
you can be. With Kristen Marks NBC News Radio, she's
as pro palestinning as you can be. Well. The fourth
season of the hit Apple TV Plus series Ted Lasso
is now in production. Filming began in Kansas City. Returning
cast members Jason Sedakas had a Wantingham and Juno Temple

(30:25):
and Jeremy Shifter all on set and performing. The upcoming
season will see Sadacas's character Ted Lasso returning to Richmond
to coach a second division women's soccer team, all with
a twist like that. We got to have more. Ted
Lasso won thirteen of sixty one Emmy nominations during its
three season run. And if you're feel in the earth
move under your feet a little faster today, that's because

(30:45):
we're spinning a little faster today.

Speaker 10 (30:47):
It'll create the second fastest day in recorded history, but
to be fair, records have only been kept since nineteen
seventy three. The shortest day was July the fifth, twenty
twenty four. The Earth's rotation experience his fluctuations due to
a number of factors, including the Moon's gravity, atmospheric changes,
and the behavior of the planet's liquid core.

Speaker 1 (31:08):
I'm Mark Nafield. In sports, Tiger's got blank three to
nothing by the Pittsburgh Pirates. Cardinals beat the Rocky six
to two. Guardians pounded the O's ten to five. Dbacks
lost six to three to the Astros. The brew Crew,
now with eleven straight shut out the Mariners six to nothing,
Angels lost seven five to the Mets. Rais lost eight
to three to the White Sox A the A's fell

(31:31):
seven to two to the Rangers, and the Dodger Blue
one five to two over the Twins. Birthdays today Singer
actress weeper Selene Goman, Oh sorry, I know, I know.
Selena Gomez thirty three years old today, Tommy Boys David
Spade is sixty one. Superman actor Skyler Kazando, who's also
in the Feast of the Seven Fishes, twenty nine years

(31:53):
old today, and actor William Dafoe is sevent If it's
your birthday, Happy birthday, So glad you were born. Thanks
for waking up with your morning show. It's your Morning
show with Michael del Journo. Honored to serve you. I'm
Michael Trump. Administration is releasing two hundred and thirty thousand documents,
well six thousand documents, two hundred thirty thousand pages concerning

(32:15):
the Martin Luther King Junior assassination files. President Trump's Big
Beautiful Bill, according to the CBO, expected to add trillions
to the national debt, and the Cosby star Malcolm Jamal
Warner is dead at the age of fifty four. Roy O'Neil,
our national correspondent, is joining us. Rory. I guess there's
several things this week with the President, one of which was,

(32:36):
hey commanders, hey guardians, you need to be the redskins
in the Indians. What will become of that? The other
is withholding billions of dollars from Ivy League universities, Harvard
in particular. These are two topics making headlines. What's the latest? Done?
Both well? Right?

Speaker 13 (32:53):
So they had the hearing yesterday in the Harvard case,
Harvard suing to get back to billion plus dollars that
the administration pulled and funding. The administration says that Harvard
did not do enough to tamp down anti Semitism on
campus about a year year and a half ago. The
administration of Harvard says that this is about free speech
and that they're being punished for the way they run

(33:15):
their university. It looks like the judge seemed to be
signing with Harvard. But we've already seen posts on truth
social from the President promising an appeal if the judge
rules against the government. Here with the administration of the
Trump administration arguing, hey, look, it's a contract.

Speaker 1 (33:32):
If we want to cancel funding weekend, well, it's like everything.
I mean, it's like we talked about yesterday with the lawsuits.
The biggest problem in the lawsuit against Rupert Murdoch and
the Wall Street Journal is Donald Trump's two to zero
one with ABC, one with CBS. But time will tell,
and then the track record has been a judge, you'll

(33:55):
see things one way, then through the appellate court or
all the way to the Supreme Court. Ultimately the president
gets his way, and I think he feels pretty confident
on that one. What about changing these teams names? You know,
the interesting part is where it matters the most for
the commanders in Washington, and especially I know for the
guardians in Cleveland, they want their old names back. Well, yeah,

(34:19):
we'll see what happens here.

Speaker 13 (34:21):
I mean, it looks like the new owners of the
Commanders sort of wants to move away from the Redskins name.
They got the stadium deal using the RFK stadium property,
So it looks like, you know, the President may rattle
cages unless they take over DC, which is also in
the cards because of the soaring crime rate.

Speaker 1 (34:41):
They may not. The President may not really.

Speaker 13 (34:43):
Be able to interfere in that stadium deal as he
suggested on True Social And when it comes to the
Indians going back to that Indian's name in Cleveland and
now the Guardians. Yeah again. I think the team put
out a statement saying thanks for your input, but no
thank you. Yeah, great, like the Coca Cola thing, saying
thanks for your suggestion about it.

Speaker 1 (35:05):
I don't think we're getting sugar, Redskins or Indians back again.
Great reporting as always, Ory, we'll talk again tomorrow. All right,
that'll do it for today. Time flies. I guess when
you're having fun, pray for me at a hot Cold
Play concert tonight. Dehydrated, lack of sleep. I'll see you
in the morning. We're all in this Together. This is
your Morning Show with Michael Hild Joe Now
