We'd love to be a part of your morning routine.
Now enjoy the podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
Starting your morning off right.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
A new way of talk, a new way of understanding,
because we're in this together.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
This is your morning show with Michael o'dill Jordan.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
Now that's something in bed last night I would have
never guessed I do today. Jack Kluttman dead in his
casket and what he looks like?
Speaker 2 (00:46):
That came up.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
I was doing a movie line that nobody could get.
I feel like running it by the listeners. Okay, hurry
it up. I must shoot you and get on with
my business. Second clue was a z Third clue was Serpentine.
Shelley Serpentine, Red and Jeffrey both couldn't get the movie reference.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
Let's see if you can using the talk bag.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
All right, if you're just getting up at Saint Mintes,
after the hour, Vladimir Putin will be the first Russian
leader to visit Alaska. Let's hope he doesn't ask for
Alaska back. I got to affiliate second loose. President Trump
is set to speak virtually with Ukrainian President Zelensky later today,
and the Mirror of Washington DC says her administration is
working hand at hand with the President, as the National
(01:31):
Guard have arrived and are on duty. Well, the market
surged after the latest economic data. Basically inflation was less
than we thought. Obviously, anyone connecting the dots would say,
here come the interest rate cuts. Bada bing, bada boom,
market goes through the roof. Roy O'Neil has been following
our top story this morning. Good morning Rory, Yeah, Good
(01:53):
morning Michael.
Speaker 3 (01:53):
And we're waiting for the other shoe to drop today
with the economic data. Yesterday was the consumer price Index.
What you and I pay today will get the producer
price in the costs essentially for what to make this stuff.
So it's that one to data set. So the second
half comes out today. But there were now more discussions,
(02:14):
more suggestions that the Fed could actually find room for
three rate cuts this year, and that's really what the
market soaring. Of course, cutting those rates would mean lower
credit card interest rates, lower rates for car loans, and
likely to spill over to finally lowering mortgage interest rates,
which have already been on the decline.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
Though not connected, we all know they tend to follow
SMP went over sixty four hundred in ter territory, So
obviously a lot of people are anticipating these rate cuts
with this news. All right, So let's go back a second,
because what you said there might be some listeners thinking, oh,
there it goes a good dreadon No, Because one is,
if tariffs were going to be passed on to consumers,
(02:55):
and this would be rather early for us to be
feeling it, the numbers yesterday would have been bad. Right
If the you know, makers of goods and services are
feeling it already, that'll show up today and eventually could
still show up in both. So I mean, everybody's kind
of waiting to see on that. Were you surprised at
(03:19):
the consumer?
Speaker 3 (03:20):
Yeah, you know, the CPI number was good at two
point seven. The core inflation data, when you strip out
food and energy costs, that was a little hot over three.
But this also can go back to feed the Chairman
Powell's argument like, look, we have a mandate to have
inflation down to two percent.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
We're at two point seven.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
But if these tariffs even have a little bit of
a positive you know, positive for you know whatever, making
you go up, I mean, that could be a bad
thing if it starts pushing inflation to three, which is
why the FED has been on the sidelines here. Of course,
President Trump said, too late Powell again now threatening this
lawsuit against the chairman over the construction project they're involving
(04:00):
the Fed. So clearly President Trump trying to turn up
the heat and get these rates lowered.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
I was wanting to say, please tell me the expectations
are that today's report will be higher than expected, because
that's what they were saying yesterday and ended up less
than expected. But that's pretty much the consensus, right, that
they would anticipate it being up a bit today.
Speaker 3 (04:23):
Right, because of the onset of tariffs. We've heard from
companies like Procter and Gamble, like General Motors yesterday that
said these tariffs have so far cost us more than
a billion dollars each, and the question is how much
longer do they keep swallowing the costs at the corporate
level before they start passing it on to us.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
Farmers are getting older. Rory, But that story coming up
next hour. Good reporting, Ory. We'll talk soon. All right,
we haven't heard from Youngstown. I think Youngstown is due up.
Speaker 4 (04:52):
Right, said, it helps a guy when he's good looking
running as a politician, kind of hurt a woman like
tall Ce Gabbert because all as I hear is she
looks too much like a supermodel.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
Don't get me wrong. I like Telsea Gabbard. We've interviewed her.
I think she's so sharp.
Speaker 2 (05:17):
I think.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
I mean, I heard this about Christy Nome. I don't
know that I hear this about Telsea Gabbard. But okay,
the question is, is you know a good looking guy
central casting it helps?
Speaker 2 (05:32):
I mean, if that were the case Mitt.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
Romney had been president, I mean, nobody looked more like
a president, like right out, you know, a drawing. But yeah,
I guess it doesn't hurt, you know. I don't think
that's why Christy lost, because he's bigger than Taft. I
don't so I don't know if I believe at all.
(05:54):
I will say this, if if being homely is the
key for women getting in office, perhaps Red hit the
nail on the head Hillary would have won. It's interesting
to me Sarah Huckabye Sanders got a lot of grief
as a White House spokesperson. The left can be very cruel,
(06:15):
and they talked about, you know, her being fat and ugly.
I actually think she's beautiful and she's a beautiful person.
Her father's an amazing man. That's one of the neatest
guys you'll ever meet in life. But you know, I
really think we were just going over the numbers last
half hours. So if you're just waking up and you
miss them, it's a runaway handoff to JD Vans, he's
(06:38):
at thirty four percent, thirty five percent. The next closest
in a tie is Como and DeSantis. There's nobody else
really on the list that you would think, and Nikki
Haley is non existent. So if you're looking for a
female running mate, I think Sarah Huckabee Sanders will rise
right to the top. I still think the greatest opportunity
(06:59):
for the Republicans would be and if you wanted to
set up a handoff that could be as much as
sixteen years or twelve years. For sure, I would just
combine JD. Vance and Marco Rubio in the ticket, and
that's very likely to happen, or somebody like a Sarah
Hu could be Sanders.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
But I don't I don't know that. I don't know that.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
We've had the case study where somebody is just Michelle Bachman.
And you know, Michelle Bachman's very up in age now.
But well, Nancy Pelosi was beautiful when you was young.
But I'll never forget. I was at a State of
the Union and I looked across the room and no
luss or anything, just something so beautiful and just stood out,
(07:45):
you know, tiny, much smaller than you would have thought
in person, and that was Michelle Bachman. But I don't
think in the end Michelle Bachman didn't get over the
top and her run for presidency because she was too
good looking. But you may be right, I could be wrong.
I can tell you my kids find JD. Van stunning,
(08:06):
and I don't get that now. Marco Rubio, I'd go
to problem with him easy.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
No, I'm kidding.
Speaker 5 (08:14):
Fox News.
Speaker 1 (08:17):
Maybe losing Greg Guttfeldt because I can see the writing
on the wall crystal clear. So gutfelt and we kind
of did this at length. If you want to go
back and listen to the first hour in the podcast,
basically what network late night television did. You could make
the case no one's ever really done it, your natural
(08:37):
senses suggest it. But once cable news was often running
and it didn't stick to news, and then it went
to more talk and opinion, especially in prime time, and
at first with some really big names that were doing
it well. People forget Bill O'roddy was a runaway Hannity,
you know, all them. That kind of made it tough
(09:00):
sledding for Ted Copple because then the feeling was, well,
if I want to hear news, I'll go watch CNN
Larry King, or I'll go watch Fox Bill O'Reilly and
that that, and Ted Copple was getting on in age.
So then you ended up with all three major networks
having a late night show. Now, others had come and gone,
(09:22):
from Dick Cavett to Joan Rivers and failed, But then
you had a block after Johnny and really kind of
slash after Jay where you had all three because of
the move of Letterman, CBS came into the fray, and
then with the addition of Kimmel because of a whole
thing with Conan and Leto, you end up with ABC
(09:43):
and ITS. So now you've got all three doing late
night shows, dividing that audience. Then they do the Johnny
Big mistake. Never mistake an entertainment show and start doing
politics or trying to assume that your entertainment place in
(10:03):
people's life gives you political influence. It will destroy you.
And it did. It alienated half their audience. Now they
have half the audience split three ways. Then Fox comes
along with Gutfeldt in an experiment and says, let's just
do some fun, funny stuff late night. And it explodes
and it beats all three of the networks, and then
(10:26):
it becomes top of mind. And in the midst of
the top of the mind, you have the firing of
Stephen Colbert and the presumption that CBS is just going
to abandon late night talk because technology and audience has
shifted and you can't make money doing it. Costs too
much to produce the shows, doesn't get any ratings that
(10:46):
can be converted into revenue. So the presumption is CBS
out of the business. Dark Kimmel's contracts up at the
end of the year. You know, ABC is going to
follow and I thought, well, that will leave just NBC
where it all began Today's show early in the morning,
tonight show at night. But then you have Gutfeld go
(11:10):
on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show and the ratings go through
the roof, up fifty seven percent, the highest Nielsen rating
of the year for Jimmy Fallon and the Tonight Show.
Now you got ABC and you don't think they're looking
at Kimmel's contract ended? Do we really want to be
(11:31):
divided by two and still losing the Gutfeld on Fox?
Or do we want to make a move. Noel Jorno
came by to say he thinks got felt real place. Uh,
Jimmy Kimmel come end of the year Kimmel or Fallon?
No Kimmel Fallen mis day. Jimmy Kimmel's the one whose
(11:55):
contracts up. Do you think he's going to going to
be on ABC? And when half his jokes are about
the view the ladies of the View if they're smart,
and I think they'd be smart. I mean, I think
they're going to take a shot at it. Now he
can stay at Fox. And I think, you know, because
we brought this up in the five o'clock hour. There
doesn't seem to be life for anybody from Fox outside
(12:16):
of Fox on another network, which tells you how much
those networks are in the back pocket of the far left.
In other words, it's possible that Gutfeld wouldn't do as
well on ABC because ABC's audience will reject him, and
the Fox audience would have to completely follow, which I
think they would more so than they did with Meg
and Kelly doing a daytime, completely different show. I mean,
(12:38):
I think if you did bring guttfeldt, you'd have to
have him do and I think this is part of
the matrix. Therefore I'm not interested in it. But I
think you'd have to have him do a right alternative,
but that would lock out leftist late night because foul
will play it down the middle, gut Faeld will play
it to the right. That may be enticing to Gutfeld,
(12:58):
I don't know, but there's arguing in a very lame
visit that they purposely made conversational and not political. Ratings
rough fifty seven percent, But that's that's a no brainer
because you took all of the followers on the right
who are already beaten late night talk show host because
they're not divided by three, and you combined it with
Jimmy fallon the most palatable.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
Of course, everybody fans of Gutfelt wanted to see him.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
Do you remember back in the day when Rush used
to go on Meet the Press with Tim Russer and
they just blow out the number.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
Yeah, I mean beyond it, beyond anything.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
Yeah, there were some things. Huge fan of Rush Limbog
didn't translate to TV with his own show. It was
as much about the audience as it was Rush. I
mean just seeing an audience of all, you know, white
heavy businessmen, and you know it's conservative, but I think
got I think I think Gutfelt would play very well
(13:56):
on regular late night television. I wouldn't be as political.
But listen Joan Rivers with guestos for Johnny and the
numbers went through the roof, and that's how she ended
up getting an offer. Jay Leno started filling in for
Johnny Carson. Do you know how you know many people
filled in for Johnny Carson before Leno? I mean, you'd
have Joey Bishop, Jerry Lewis did it once. Letterman, I
(14:22):
don't think Letterman ever did fill in for Carson because
he was already late night. I think it was the beginning.
If they had Joan River, they a bunch of but
Joan Rivers stood out. Jay Leno stood out. They got
their own show. God felt stood out. It would stand
a reason that he could get his own show. Keep
an eye on that. That's one of those just to
keep an eye on.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
Although I will tell you and I will warn you
the great Noster del Jono speaks. One should listen. This
is your morning show with Michael del Chno.
Speaker 1 (14:53):
Can't have this show without you. In fact, your voice
matters most. What's on the minds of our peanut gallery.
Speaker 4 (14:58):
Yeah, you're right, got Paulsy Gabber and Christino mixed.
Speaker 5 (15:03):
Up salesa Gabber Gorge.
Speaker 6 (15:09):
I would like to see Review and Tulsi on a
ticket together and vance.
Speaker 5 (15:16):
Maybe four years after that Good Morning Michael. I think
that was The in Laws or The Father in Laws.
But Peter Falk was the original before the remake.
Speaker 2 (15:26):
It was the movie The in Laws with Peter fall
See why I love my audience more than I love
you too? Was that so hard? Have neither of you
seen The in Laws with Alan Arkin and Peter Falk?
If not commercial break.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
Nobody loves me, Nobody Google, I don't say that. You
claim I have Tourette's and I don't. How could you
not have seen that movie? It's I wonder how that
one aged and he checked that out.
Speaker 2 (15:52):
I'll have to do it. But that was so funny.
I might shoot you get time with my business.
Speaker 1 (15:55):
Yeah, so he Peter falk is in the you know Cia,
and Alan Arkin is just going to be future father
in law and he's getting taken along on this amazing
ride and they end up with one of the twenty
six that are being extrad ouitted to the United States.
See how my listeners they know min I'm gonna start
doing my movie lines with my listeners instead of YouTube.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
Good morning, guys.
Speaker 7 (16:16):
This is Jeff in Pleasant View, Tennessee, and my morning
show is your morning show with Michael Dale Jorno.
Speaker 2 (16:27):
Hey, it's me Michael.
Speaker 1 (16:28):
You can listen to your morning show live on the
air or streaming live on your iHeart app Monday through
Friday from three to six Pacific, five to eighth Central,
and six to nine Eastern on great radio stations like
Talk six fifty KSTE and Sacramento or one oh four
nine The Patriot in Saint Louis and Impact Radio one
oh five, nine and twelve fifty whd Z in Tampa, Florida.
(16:48):
I sure hope you can join us live and make
us a part of your morning routine. In the meantime,
enjoy the podcast. One of my favorite CCM artists and songwriters,
Gary Chapman, just texted me Shalli shall Chall he knew
the in Law chat menu chat MANNEU The in Laws
our movie of the day. It is thirty six minutes
(17:08):
after the hour in the Eastern time zone. You got
about twenty four minutes to be to work by eight o'clock.
Thanks for bringing us along with you. This is your
morning show. Vladimir Putin will be the first Russian leader
to visit Alaska since we got Alaska from Russia.
Speaker 2 (17:19):
I hope he doesn't want to have a back.
Speaker 1 (17:21):
President Trump is set to speak virtually with Vladimir Vladimir
Selenski today virtually, and the Mirror of Washington, DC says
her administration is working hand in hand with the President.
And we did some research. Ford has confirmed two American
made cars that are going out of production. One I
think is a mistake, one no relevance for me, it'll
(17:44):
be the Lincoln Concierge I believe they call it, or
that was the small sub course aair coursair. And the
other is the Ford Escape, which I was the original
four by four that I had bought for my kids.
That's when the girls were sharing it when they were
first two driving.
Speaker 2 (18:02):
I loved it.
Speaker 1 (18:03):
I thought it was a great vehicle. Then they went
pick them up truck and it left the family. But
I'm surprised they're getting rid of the Ford Escape. All right,
what a week it's been for the President, and the
best is yet to come. It's only going to get busier,
including a trip to Alaska that our very own White
House correspondent, John Decker will be taking with the President
(18:24):
and reporting for you the your morning show audience. This
has all the makings of being a very historic week
or a great big flop.
Speaker 5 (18:34):
Right, Well, that's right.
Speaker 3 (18:37):
You know.
Speaker 8 (18:37):
It's interesting because both on Monday when.
Speaker 9 (18:40):
The President came into the briefing room and yesterday when
Caroline Levitt, the White House Press Secretary, addressed the press,
both of them were lowering expectations in terms of what
to expect out of this summit that will take place
this coming Friday and anchorage elastic between President Trump.
Speaker 5 (18:57):
And President Putin. That tells me something.
Speaker 9 (19:00):
That tells me that they're not expecting even an agreement
on a ceasefire, which is what President Trump has been
urging Russia.
Speaker 5 (19:08):
To accept for the past five months.
Speaker 1 (19:10):
Well, and then yesterday we had this story break Russia
suspected to be behind a federal court hack. So you know,
the continued escalation or military plans. I would also add
to that, John, I don't know if there was much
buzz on the ground at the White House yesterday, but
there was buzz in my head as I was following it.
(19:31):
The communication between Putin and Kim Jung un. Now we
know that Kim Jong un in North Korea got troops
on the ground there. We also know they have a
very He's had a very interesting relationship with Donald Trump.
But the fact that they're cozying up it may have
been involved in a hack plan. There's a lot of
reasons to cool off the expectations, is what I'm getting at.
Speaker 8 (19:50):
Yeah, you know what I read into that conversation.
Speaker 9 (19:53):
More than anything involving Putin and.
Speaker 8 (19:55):
Kim Jung un. Kim Jung Un met.
Speaker 9 (19:58):
With Donald Trump three times in his first term. And look,
we're talking about the former head of the KGB in
Vladimir Putin.
Speaker 8 (20:07):
He probably was getting from kimry ungold his.
Speaker 5 (20:09):
Read on Donald Trump.
Speaker 9 (20:10):
You know, how to approach this meeting from his perspective
that would not surprise me at all, Or.
Speaker 2 (20:17):
What could Kim jongun? I mean, there's all It all
depends on what we think.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
But if if Kim Jong now, certainly things calmed down
with Trump and North Korea, I mean North Korea when
Barack Obama left office as he was presumably now with
the latest charges sabotaging his successor his big message to
Donald Trump was war looks inevitable with North Korea.
Speaker 2 (20:41):
Well that was erect that was certainly turned.
Speaker 1 (20:44):
All right, So I think, you know, the President's meetings
with Kim jongun were very fruitful. The testing calmed down,
and again they were getting further and further in their
reach of their delivery systems. They had the enriched uranium,
but we didn't think they could hit a target. So
but you could also make the case of Kim jongun
talked a good game with Donald Trump and got away
(21:06):
with it and moved on down the road with his
normal regime, and maybe that's you know, could that have
been part of the conversation. How you can make Trump
think he's winning and then go about your business as
you will. I mean, it all depends on what we
think about these players. And I got news for I
don't trust either Kim jongun or Putin.
Speaker 9 (21:23):
Yeah, I don't trust either. And you know, I asked
the President last week whether he trusts Putin, and he
said he doesn't trust Putin, but he doesn't trust any
world leader that he deals with, regardless of whether you're
talking about dealing with a counterpart on trade or whether
you're dealing in this case a situation involving war.
Speaker 5 (21:41):
So the President goes into this meeting.
Speaker 9 (21:44):
With skepticism towards Vladimir Putin. He knows that, you know,
he's had conversations with him over the course of the
past few months, five of them altogether, all of them
the President describes as good conversations, but they don't lead
to anything in terms of follows he changes by the
Russian government or the Russian military.
Speaker 1 (22:03):
Closing moments with John Decker or White House correspondent, maybe
when you're on the plane, you could ask the presider
maybe if you get a chance dust out this conversation
that I had with the audience and then later with
you yesterday, and that is there's something problematic brewing if
you're going to isolate Russia.
Speaker 2 (22:19):
And yes, you can.
Speaker 1 (22:20):
Tighten up the sanctions, you can make it painful, but
if you're going to use tariffs to punish anybody that
does business with Russia and isolate them in that way,
as you've already done with India, well, as you mentioned,
the one that buys the most oil is China, and
you don't have a done tariff deal with China and
you just extended it ninety days. You need this peace
(22:40):
deal or you need to change your tactic of how
you're going to isolate them one or the other. Because
I got news for you. Putin doesn't need to call
Kim jonguin to figure that one out.
Speaker 5 (22:49):
Well, that's right.
Speaker 9 (22:50):
And in addition to that, there's also a NATO ally
that buys a lot of Russian oil, that's Turkey, and
the President is good friends with the leader of Turkey Rtawan.
So yeah, the President balancing a lot, but his focus
really is on Friday. My focus is on Friday. We'll
see what comes out of it. We now know where
it will be in Anchorage. It will be at Elmendorf
(23:10):
Richardson Joint Base. And this is a location shows and
really because it is one of those locations, one of
those few locations that can be completely secured by all
of the agencies that protect the president.
Speaker 1 (23:25):
Yeah, and uh, you know, you and I have had
this conversation before. I mean, there is history. The president
says he's going to know in two minutes, you know
what that much I agree with.
Speaker 2 (23:34):
I think he's going to know.
Speaker 5 (23:35):
With in two minutes. Yeah, I agree.
Speaker 1 (23:37):
I don't think he's gonna he's gonna get a surprise
in two minutes. I think it's going to be just
what he's expected. Appreciate it, John, I think of history.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (23:46):
You know when when John F. Kennedy went to Vienna,
UH to meet with khrush Chef and Russia. Khrushchef's view
of Kennedy was young, inexperienced, probably an appeaser like his father,
(24:07):
quite frankly, and this comes from Khrushchef's son, a young punk.
And so Kennedy arrives at Vienna to have discussions with
the Soviet Union, and Kennedy is just cordial and nice.
He sits there and khrush Jeff bullies him, bullies him
(24:28):
from start to finish, and Kennedy doesn't do anything to
fight back. So the more he bullies, the more embolden
he is that he's right, and Kennedy's weak like his father,
he's young, he's inexperienced, he's intimidated. I mean, khruse Chef
thinks it's going great. This is the Bay of pigs Numskull.
(24:56):
When Khrushcheff runs out of oxygen, Kennedy just stands up
and says, well, looks like it's going to be a
long cold winter and leaves. Nobody ever talks about that
except kruse Cheff's son. But you know, it was that
moment the kruse Cheff's son will tell you decided the
(25:23):
Cuban missile crisis, because when push came to shove and
it looked inevitable that they were going to go to war,
he saw the Kennedy let him bang the table, yell
and scream, and just got up in strength and walked out.
(25:47):
I bring that up because it's just a question, it's
just a suggestion. Maybe it's a hope, Maybe it's a prayer.
Sometimes you walk into these kinds of meetings and the
meeting doesn't end with some big, grand announcement in solution,
but moments happen that determine those big solutions later. Now,
(26:15):
I don't think Vladimir Putin is misreading Donald Trump the
way krush Chef misread Kennedy.
Speaker 2 (26:23):
He's not even that dumb. If there's any chance it
could happen.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
If there's no chance, I'm excited to know that I
trust Donald Trump to walk in there, read the room
right in two minutes, and leave and do the right thing.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
Now.
Speaker 1 (26:41):
The only thing that he has set in motion that
I think is problematic is if your plan is sanctions
are stronger NATO than ever, financially supported, more by Europe
than ever, the US committed more than ever. He can
keep fighting, but he can't win, and it's only going
(27:04):
to get more painful. But just set yourself up. If
part of your strategy is to isolate anyone that does
business with Russia, as you've already done with India, because
you don't have a deal with China and you just
signaled a ninety day extension to a reprieve on the
tariff deal and Putin knows it, so if he tries
(27:29):
to play Trump, it's not.
Speaker 2 (27:30):
Going to work.
Speaker 1 (27:31):
Let's hope there could be some kind of a moment,
because everyone would have thought that Vienna meeting with Kruse,
Jeff and Kennedy was a disaster, and it was in
the immediate but in a long run, it may be why.
Speaker 2 (27:42):
We're all still alive today.
Speaker 1 (27:47):
And probably a reminder the American people during the Cuban
missile crisis were a praying people might be a reminder
to pray. Speaking of prayer, ed from Kfyi and Arizona
is checking in.
Speaker 7 (28:00):
Hi, Michael, You've given us some good news today and
some bad news today. But the best news is that
your back is feeling better. Just more proof that maybe
prayer does work.
Speaker 2 (28:10):
Have a great day. It does.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
Don't Ever, by the way, those epidural injections, that was
a nightmare. Think twice before you have that done. I'll
never forget you goes. Now you're going to get the
sensation that you're having a heart attack. I'll let you
know when it's coming. So after about you know, these
a needle the size of I don't know what, like
a turkey baster and then they have to put it
(28:35):
in in all these different times, and then with live
X ray, you know, get the aim right. So that
goes out for like thirty minutes, and then finally goes, Okay,
we're ready to inject.
Speaker 2 (28:46):
You're going to feel some chest pain. I promise you're
not having a heart attack. And I'm like, any women
right now are telling you to man up.
Speaker 5 (28:54):
I passed out.
Speaker 1 (28:55):
This is deffe given birth I've had, by the way,
because of another reason, I had a hernia surgery with
an epidural.
Speaker 2 (29:04):
This was nothing like that.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
Okay, So then when they go into this herniated disc
with this epidural of steroids and whatever, so the pain
starts in your back and it comes right around your
chest and then it goes right to the middle of
your chest and I'd go, yeah, I'm feeling it. She goes, Okay,
just breathe, and then it just kept getting worse and
I'd go, oh, God, I can't get worse than this.
(29:26):
And as I said that, it got worse and I go, oh,
can't get worse. It got worse. Well, there's no way
can get worse than this. So finally I'm signed. She goes,
are you doing Okay, I said, I feel like an
elephant is standing on me. Are you sure I'm not
in full cardiac arrest. I told you you were going
to feel like you had a heart at that, and
I didn't have a lot of immediate relief. I think
the combination of that that allowed me to do the peach.
(29:49):
And yes, I give all the brace to God because
I didn't want to have a next surgeon and they
go to the front of your neck. But if I
got my vocal cords and then it's your morning show
with and I sound like RFK Junior.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott is calling for another special session.
Speaker 6 (33:08):
The governor is looking to redraw the state's congressional district
maps as he waits for the Texas Democrats who have
left for blue states across the country. The group of
Democratic lawmakers left Texas to deny the state legislature of
the quorum needed to hold a vote in the current
special session. Abbot says he'll continue calling for new special
sessions until the missing Democrats return.
Speaker 5 (33:27):
I'm tammyged for he he'll be a.
Speaker 2 (33:29):
Session in session, a special session.
Speaker 1 (33:31):
The House Oversight Committee is seeking to uncover an alleged
tie between former President Bill Clinton and Jeffrey Epstein. Committee
chair James Comer said during an interview that Clinton is
his alleged connection to Epstein should be uncovered during his
testimony before the members of Congress, which could be as
soon as October. Comber also subpoenaed the First Lady and
former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to give testimony. Clinton
(33:55):
could refuse to testify, but would then be subject to
repercussions from General jam Pam Body, who's already aging under
the stress of her job. The man accused of killing
three people at an Austin Target has been charged with
capital murder, making him eligible for the death penalty.
Speaker 11 (34:11):
Sergeant Nathan Sexton says the suspect may have either been
on drugs or it was a mental health issue.
Speaker 5 (34:18):
He said that he was Jesus and there was really
no reason whatsoever given. It was a completely random choosing
of the victims.
Speaker 11 (34:25):
They say the shooter attacked a Target employee who was
collecting shopping carts in the parking lot. He then ran
up to a Toyota four Runner, where he shot a
man and his four year old granddaughter. The thirty two
year old was later found naked clutching a bible. I'm
Brian Shuck.
Speaker 1 (34:41):
