Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hi, it's Michael. Your morning show can be heard weekday
mornings in great cities like Tulsa in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Memphis,
in Nashville, Tennessee. And we got you covered in California,
San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento. We'd love to
be a part of your morning routine. We're thrilled you're here.
Now enjoy the podcast on.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
Two three, starting your morning off right.
Speaker 1 (00:21):
A new way of talk, a new way of understanding.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
Because we're in the Stageton. This is your morning show
with Michael O'Dell Chorman.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
A lot of sun moon. Hey, look at Reda's bag,
and they didn't lose his luggage, but they lost his
soul back from his airline adventures from Montega. There'll be
no pictures today. Now back to the gloom and doom
(00:53):
of the office. These are only pictures you'll be seeing
all day long. Hope you enjoyed your vacation. While we
were slaving, you were gone over a hot and board.
I thought about you, guys. Come, I'll bet you did.
Eight minutes after the hour and welcome to Monday, September
the twenty ninth. Can you believe it? We're going to
be done with September. After tomorrow, time flies, whether you're
(01:13):
having fun or not. Monday, September twenty ninth, twenty twenty five,
we want to welcome WRD and w y l D Greenville, Spartanburg,
the voice of the Carolinas, to the Your Morning Show
Kitchen Table. Interesting story loot about twenty years ago. I
came to Nashville from Tulsa, a week after Ralph Bristol
(01:37):
came from Greenville, Spartanburg to Nashville. He did mornings, I
did middays. This was his radio station. Word, Oh wow,
that's special ties. I have loved this station from Afar
for a long time. And what a beautiful metro area
that is. So we are so excited to have you
a part of the Your Morning Show family. It's real simple.
We don't tell you how to think, but we give
you a lot to think about. We think we're all
(02:01):
in this together and understanding is the key. And welcome
to the journey. There's two ways you can communicate. There's
a reason we call it Your Morning Show. Doesn't belong
to a company, doesn't belong to a city, doesn't belong
to an egotistical talk show host. We're here to serve you.
The show belongs to you. You can take your place
using the talkback button. You'll find that on the iHeart app.
(02:23):
If you're listening and there's a little microphone, you press it.
It count you down, three two one, no more rotting
on hold and talk radio. You instantly make your comment
or question and you appear on the show. You can
also have an email. You can also email me at
Michael d at iHeartMedia dot com. What's the example? I
have an example of a talkback for those that are
new to the show. Well, it's Monday, and I know
(02:44):
this isn't going to be serious, so it's altay serious.
Where to Hell's bill, O'Reilly? I don't think that's who
we're replacing. Welcome wrd wyld the voice of the Carolinas
in Greenville, Spartanburg, South Carolina. All right, two different tragic
shootings to look at. Roy O'Neil have the very latest
(03:04):
on the shooting in North Carolina. We also had a
shooting in an LDS church in Grand Blink, Michigan, which
is just a skipping stone's throw from where I was
born in Flint, Michigan. Four dead, eight injured, and we
feared that death toll could rise from those that might
have been trapped in the fire. As for the shooter,
a former a Rocky VET, we don't have the beginning
(03:26):
of an idea of who this guy is and what
his motive and gripe and Greek must have been. Pete
Hegseth is gathering all of the generals and admirals from
around the world. The President is acknowledged, it's not a
big deal. We just want to tell him how great
of a job they're doing, and I planned to attend.
(03:48):
President is also sending troops to guard ice facilities in Portland.
As you can imagine, both the city of Portland and
the state of Oregon not happy in filing lawsuits. Eric
Adams is out. This is a huge story. I don't
know if he waited too long. And again, it really
(04:11):
all depends on polling. The polling would suggest that black,
Hispanic and Asian voters are driving Mom Donnie's campaign. As
you know, Mom Donnie is potentially an Islamist. He is
a self professing socialist with very communistic proposals. He has
(04:37):
somewhere between forty and forty two percent of the vote
and second is the former governor Cuomo with twenty percent,
and then you had the current mayor Adams at nine percent. Well,
if polls are accurate, if all nine percent that support
Adams in five weeks support Cromo, he would still potentially
(05:01):
come up short. So Johnny mathis when sang the song
too much, too little, too late. Time will tell, and
we'll talk about that a little bit later on. I
don't know if this was supposed to be a statement
the NFL is trying to make. But Bad Bunny that
household name. I don't want to sound like the old
(05:21):
guy on the radio that doesn't know who Bad Bunny is.
But I didn't, did you. You're usually musically hit. I
know the name. That's about all I know. This is
a performer who won't come to America because for fear
of being deported. You know, you can come from other
countries and perform a concert. We don't round you up
(05:44):
and send you away. But this is a big act
in Puerto Rico, which last time I looked, was a
part of the US territory. Bad Bunny is said to
be that. There were a lot of rumors that it
was going to be Taylor Taylor Swift, and then I
(06:06):
heard if not Taylor Swift, it was going to be
post Malone, to which I got in the debate with
my son. I thought post Malone did it. Then I
realized I was confusing him with Weekend. But I mean,
you know, so I went from Taylor Swift, which I thought, Okay,
that's a let's bring this stunt to an end with
her and Kelsey, to okay, if not her, post Malone,
(06:28):
and then all of a sudden halftime of that crazy
game last night, we find out, no, it's a it's
a household named Bad Bunny. So we'll just call this
bad choice. Yeah, Roger and Sacramento was emailing me throughout
the weekend. We were watching the Ryder Cup, which was
a disaster for the United States on Friday and Saturday,
and as he coined the phrase, the miracle on Grass
(06:51):
started to take place. Yesterday, they won five of six
with the one draw, and in the end they ended
up losing fifteen to thirteen, but they certainly made euro
claw and fight for that victory. It was almost one
of the greatest Ryder Cup comebacks in history yesterday, but
they came up short. Then I guess I just wanted
(07:13):
to be equal to red read which time did you
finally make it home last night? That's just poor planning.
By the way of a vacation, you should always plan
with a day buffer, quarter of one, quarter of one,
not twelve forty five. You wanted to sound even later
quarter of one. That was not the intention. That was
(07:34):
the airlines. Well, it wasn't my intention. It was the
football game. I could not turn that game off last night.
Over nine hundred and fifty yards of total offense and
in the end of forty forty tie. On Sunday Night Football,
the Parsons Project Return Home ends in a tie Cowboys
(07:54):
Packers forty forty. Just so you know, the Bills in
Buffalo were our show air and the Eagles are the
only two undefeated teams left at four now the Titans.
Do ask me who the only two zero to four
winless teams in the NFL are the New Orleans Saints
and the garbage of all gobbage. Do you want to
(08:17):
know why they don't play on Thursday Night football? The
Tennessee Titans. Why is that? Because they pick up garbage
on Wednesday, they're not available Thursdays getting shut out by
Houston yesterday couldn't even get a point. So you know,
we've been having this debate in our house. Who's the
worst team, Saints or the Titans. I got to tell you,
(08:37):
Rattler's actually improving. Our quarterback said, our team is ass Yes, well,
you get the nail right on the head. He gets
a day for honesty, not so much for accuracy and throwing.
I think it's the Titans. But that's your two winless
teams and Monday Night football. Another doubleheader tonight. This is
(08:59):
that I remember we used to do double headers at
the beginning of the year. Yeah, it used to be
like the opening weekend they would do double headers, right, yeah,
but I don't recall doing it like in Week three
and Week four. So we got the Jets and the Dolphins, Hashry,
get those bets going. That'll be at six fifteen, then
an hour later and staggered as the Bengals and the Broncos.
We do have the wildcard playoffs are set. The Tigers.
(09:21):
For those listening in Detroit this morning, it was a
great collapse, There's no question about it. So why would
yesterday be any different? And then we fall so low
in the seating from not winning the division. Guess who
the Tigers have first? Up the Guardians who they've battled.
So Tigers and Guardians will play in the wildcard tomorrow
(09:43):
at noon. Padres and the Cubs. I mean the Guardians
are a division winner playing in a wildcard round. They
are clearly the best of the wildcard round. Maybe the
Yankees and maybe the cub second. Not sure which Cubs
will host the Podres at two to oh eight. Red
(10:05):
Sox and Yankees. Always Bob, who makes my sandwich at Public's,
saw my Yankee hand. He goes, how are the Yankee
you doing? You think you're gonna win the division today?
Is it now? Probably a wild card? Well, look out,
they may be playing my red socks. Then he went
around the corner with my sandwich for a second. I
don't know what he did with it, but no, Bob
(10:26):
makes a great sandwich. That's a great matchup Yankees, Red
Sox and the Reds. Snuck in Red's Dodgers. Boy, if
you could only bring back I don't know, that'd be Vince.
You'd have to go with Vince Gully and doing the
play by play. But a Dodger Reds like seventies playoff
game the wild Machine. Yeah, yeah, they got the young
(10:50):
Reds against the Dodgers SIPs home. Probably the biggest disappointment
in baseball the Mets. I can't remember what their payroll was,
something like seven hundred ninety million dollars and they didn't
even make the playoffs. Didn't even make the postseason. So
that's your Major League Baseball playoffs. And we have a
new top five.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
They took it upon themselves to leap frog, and I
think it was wise Oregon over Miami, but we'll see.
But Ohio state number one, staying at number one. Oregon
was sixth moves all the way up to number two.
Miami was two drops down to three. Old Miss with
that victory over LSU moves up from thirteen to number
(11:30):
That feels like a Casey Caseim moving up eight big
notches this week from thirteen to number four and kills
with Hotty Doddy. What Fandy's gonna kill Ole Miss if
they played? Fandy's still undefeated? How do we just put
Vanny in Titan's uniforms, take a shot at it couldn't
hurt and her the Oklahoma Sauter zero tho suitters. They
(11:53):
go all the way back all those great matchups for Nebraska.
They always had their running game, they wish oh and
they had whatever it took to wind in the Oklahoma
Sooners four to oh move all the way up from
seven to number five. So your top five Ohio State, Oregon, Miami, Ole,
miss and Oklahoma. So that's kind of just some of
the things we're here to talk about today and put
into perspective, the biggest being the shooting. We'll have the
(12:15):
very latest with Rory in an hour, and I guess
to some degree this violence, the inability to stop any
of the wars yet and potentially you could throw in
a potential government shut down. I don't know. Are we
still winning. We're gonna talk to Republican consultant a little
(12:36):
bit later on the show, Chris Walker, with all things
Republican at the momentums being lost as we head into
the holiday season and then boom, the midterms are upon us. Hey,
did you hear the best performing assets of twenty twenty
five aren't stocks? The precious metals. This year, gold and
silver has risen a staggering twenty nine percent, and some
(12:58):
experts believe gold and silver is a market that it's
just begun Central banks are buying gold to protect against
the falling dollar and silver It's powering the future with
skyrocketing demand for solar evs and AI. Silver is like
the new oil. So how high could gold and silver soar?

Speaker 2 (14:01):
This is your morning show with Michael del Chrono.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
Five people, including the shooter, are dead after an attack
in an LDS church in Michigan during Sunday service. Lisa
Carton reports.
Speaker 4 (14:12):
It happened in the city of Grand Blanc. Davidson Township
Police chief Jay Rindon describes the scene.
Speaker 1 (14:17):
Got here, the church was on fire, the gunman was down,
and it's just been it's been a very busy, busy
scene that you can imagine.
Speaker 4 (14:25):
Gron Blanc is a small community about fifty miles north
of Detroit. Police Chief William rain he.
Speaker 5 (14:31):
Drove his vehicle through the front doors of the church.
He then exited his vehicle, firing savoro rounds at individuals
within a church.
Speaker 4 (14:40):
The forty year old shooter is deceased after he was
engaged by two officers. I'm Lisa Carton.
Speaker 1 (14:46):
And most would call it Grand Blanc. Chief William Reeney
says they're trying to figure out what prompted Thomas Stanford
to attack this church. In other words, what was the motive.
Speaker 5 (14:58):
We have investigators to do search warrants and this suspects residents.
We're going to find out if there was a motive.
We're going to go through cell phone records, things like that.
Speaker 1 (15:10):
Meanwhile, President Trump says he's sending troops to Portland to
protect the city and ice facilities from domestic terrorists.
Speaker 6 (15:16):
Oregon Senator Jeff Murkley says the troops are a distraction.
Speaker 5 (15:19):
Trump is using nice to sew fear and chaos.
Speaker 6 (15:23):
Trump authorized two hundred members of the Oregon National Guard
to perform federal functions for sixty days. That includes protecting
federal property where protests are occurring or likely to occur.
Oregon Governor Tina Kotec says she told Trump there is
no insurrection or threat to public safety that needs military intervention.
I'm Tammy Trihio.
Speaker 1 (15:41):
New York City Mayor Eric Adams is throwing in the
towel on his bid for reelection. Larry Kofsky has more.
Speaker 7 (15:46):
Mayor. Adams announced his decision to quit the race in
a video released on social media.
Speaker 3 (15:51):
Despite all we've achieved, I cannot continue my re election
campaign and.
Speaker 7 (15:57):
His statement, Adams said his campaign was under by constant
media speculation about his future and a decision by the
campaign finance board to withhold funding. His departure leaves Democratic
front runners Oroan Mamdani, former Governor Andrew Cuomo, who's running
as an independent, and Republican Curtis Sliwa, I'm Lari Kofski and.
Speaker 1 (16:20):
Bad Bundy is set to headline the twenty twenty six
Super Bowl halftime show. Bad Bundy previously said that he
did not book gigs in the United States for fear
of ice raids, With an upcoming tourist set to kick
off in Costa Rica before heading to Mexico, Spain, England,
and Italy. Super Bowl sixty will take place on February
the eighth Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, California, home with
(16:41):
the San Francisco forty nine ers. And today is National
Coffee Day, a day to celebrate a drink most of
us enjoy on a daily basis.
Speaker 6 (16:49):
Acent National Coffee Association's survey found two thirds of American adults,
or sixty six percent, drink coffee every day. Three cups
a day was about the average for most coffee drinkers.
And if you're looking for a deal on your cup
of Joe today, you should have no problem finding one.
Plenty of places are offering them, from Starbucks and Krispy
Creme to Duncan, Burger King and McDonald's. I'm Tammy Triho.
Speaker 1 (17:11):
We're back at the station, Breakfast Today and NBC former
Today Show host Bryant Gumbels seventy seven years old, Comedian
Andrew Dice Clay sixty eight, Megatron, the former Lion Great
Calvin Johnson forty and pop singer Halsey thirty one. If

(18:05):
the podcast.
Speaker 3 (18:06):
Enjoy Good morning, Michael, Jeffrian Red, Welcome back, Red. Thank
you were mess. Guys did a good job, but you're
hard to replace. I hope you had a good time
and got some well deserve Brest.
Speaker 1 (18:17):
It's really great to have.
Speaker 3 (18:18):
The band back together because you guys are a mission
from God. You guys all have a safe from productive day.
Speaker 8 (18:23):
We're on a mission from God, so the mess with
the biggest payroll as the biggest collapse. They should be
booed on opening day next year and get rid of
this Yankee manager Mendoza, Oh God.
Speaker 1 (18:35):
Should be Why why are you gonna bring up the Yankees?
And why are you getting to him? Why not Soto?
What happened all that money? You guys wanted them so bad?
I knew Big John would be bitter today. It was this,
we don't have talkbacks for support staff. Well we kind
of do. I mean, we're to the audience, we're one
happy family. Well to you, we are just Larry and curly.
(19:00):
He just kept sending pictures all week long. First of all,
did you have a room? I mean looked like you
guys were sleeping bright like by a stream. They were glamping.
Is that what you call that? Glamour camping? Yeah, that
was we had a room. Okay. He would send pictures
every day. I mean, we're dealing with, you know, headaches
(19:22):
and work, and he's sending pictures of mountains and blue
skies and strutiful streams with birds. If you like it
so much, you should just go live there. My wife
won't doesn't want to deal with the winners. Okay, did
you stumble upon any distilleries as you certainly did. Oh,
you find them no matter where they're at. All right,
(19:42):
if you're just waking up the New York City mayor
Eric Adams dropping out of the race five weeks prior
to the election, Bad Bunny is set to headline the
twenty twenty six Super Bowl halftime show. I can't remember
who called in. What was her name, Katrina? Yeah, Katrina
was saying, how I'll just do it. She was saying
(20:04):
he doesn't like to do concerts in the United States
for fear that Ice will arrest his fans. Obviously, that'll
be safe because you know, no one breaks. You can
break into the country, but you can't break into the
Super Bowl. So I think everything will be safe. So
Bad Bunny the twenty twenty six halftime show, there were
rumors it would be Taylor Swift, and then if not
Taylor Swift, it was going to be Posts alone. And
(20:25):
then they throw the curve ball with Bad Bunny and
the man accused of assassinating conservative activist Charlie Kirk is
said to appear virtually in his hearing later today. All right,
let's talk about the shooting. This is Grand Blank, Michigan,
just next door to Flint. I don't know what happened
(20:53):
to that. Oh there, it is okay, sorry about that.
The deranged mad man was apparently a forty year old
Iraqi war veteran who served in the US Marine Corps.
At least four people have died, eight others wounded, and
we think this death toll because basically slammed his truck
(21:14):
right into the front door. Even some of the people,
as you can imagine, thought something had happened, you know,
like maybe the person you know had a heart attack
or you know, some kind of an accent to me.
So they were going towards the car to help, thinking
something was wrong with him, and then he gets out
(21:36):
of the car and starts shooting. Thomas Jacob Samford is
the forty year old US Marine Iraqi veteran who began
all of this. He also set the church on fire,
and that's where the fear that the death toll could
rise comes from. We don't know who might have been
(21:57):
trapped in the church and lost their life in the
fire yet, but so far the death toll is four
with eight others injured in the hospital. I just don't
speculate the timing and the two American flags on the truck,
(22:24):
you know, I mean, he did everything, but you know,
stage this like he's MAGA. I don't know. You know,
my father used to always use expelled. Well, what do
you want from me? I don't know what you want
from me as a talk show host, other than to say,
if he is MAGA, there's nothing in the Make America
(22:47):
Great movement that would spell out killing innocent people while
worshiping in church. That doesn't fit anything. So I don't
you know, I don't know how much you want to
read into that. Even if he was a deranged MAGA follower,
(23:10):
he doesn't represent MAGA. Mega doesn't represent just attacking people
in their house of worship with fire and guns, so
that becomes mood. It just seemed a bit overstaged to me.
Here he comes in his Chevy Silverado with two American flags,
(23:31):
so it'll be interesting to see. We don't know anything
about him or his motive at this point. I think,
you know, most of the like Facebook images, just looks
like an outdoorsman to me. There's one of them. I
think he appears to be duck hunting, goose hunting, with
(23:53):
his son in his hands. The church is just gone.
I mean it was arsened to the ground. The fire fighters,
facing a vehicle that rammed into the church, then had
to deal with a pretty ferocious blaze, causing the entire
(24:14):
structure to burn down. Authorities fear there may be more
victims inside the fire. A Facebook post by Sanford's mother
says that the gunmen who died at the scene in
a shootout with the cops, served in a rock from
two thousand and four to two thousand and eight. He
was killed minutes after the first nine when one call
came in. A Department of Natural Resources officer and local
(24:34):
township cop responded to the scene in about thirty seconds.
That's a pretty fast response. The shootout took place and
the gunman, an arsonist, was killed. Bomb squad was also
searching the facility. They found improvised explosive devices on the
(24:57):
church property. They also used the bomb squad to search
his house. House. Cops said there were hundreds of worshippers
inside the church when the attack began. Social media accounts
believed to be connected to Sanford show that he's a
family man with a wife and a young son. There's
just no real dominant clues. We do know that he
had a a dormant go fund me page from twenty
(25:21):
to fifteen that raised more than three thousand dollars for
their ten year old son, who was born with a
rare genetic condition where the pancreas releases too much insulin.
The unnamed witnesses told Fox Too Detroit that the attack
(25:43):
started at about just after the congressional hymn, when hundreds
of people were inside the building, right at the tenem
service start time. Churchgoers reportedly heard a loud bang as
the attacker crashed his truck into the church. We first thought,
said one witness, someone had accidentally crashed into the church.
We went out to help, and as we approached the vehicle,
Paul Kirby says, all of a sudden, both started ricocheting.
(26:07):
That's when he went back into the church, got his
wife and kids and loaded them and as many that
could fit in his car, and they peeled out Grand
Blank Resident Tony Deck told USA Today that he drove
by the church after hearing sirens and saw at least
four yellow canvases over bodies already, So this is just
(26:29):
another one of these. Here we go again, Is it
a gun problem? Is it a mental illness problem? Is
it a social dilemma? Social media incited hate problem? Is
this now a maggo to go along with three transgendered
(26:51):
And I don't know. I was listening over the weekend
because I had said this last week, and I know
we went straight from Charlie Kirk into other shootings and
Royal'll have both of them. We had another shooter that
just pulled up to a music venue, docked music venue
(27:16):
on the river in North Carolina and started shooting people.
At some point, you know, the parallels to nineteen sixty
eight came up. And in nineteen sixty eight we had
three main factors that got us out of this, this
level of hatred, this level of violence. One was the
hippie movement turned to a Jesus movement, literally a spiritual reviver,
(27:38):
that's revival that swept the country. We also had Richard
Nixon running for president, and rather than talking to the
extreme left or the extreme right, he proposed that the
majority of America was center, and I'm going to talk
to the sensible center. That's something we're not really he's
(28:00):
seeing other than Fetterman, We're not seeing anybody really doing.
And the third was it was the TV era and
we just got sick of seeing the violence. I saw
somebody I can't remember where it was. Was it in
an email or no, it was one of my high
school classmates, and I happen to know she in particular
(28:25):
is from the left, and she's just, you know, just
sick of seeing the violence. I thought, well, there's that seed.
After a while, we just get sick of it. We've
got too much in common to be divided and focused
and hating each other. And when you hate and you
don't talk, as Charlie Kirk todd, you start shooting. And
(28:48):
so we said big Picture after Charlie Kirk, that's either
the last straw, like the classmate was saying, I've had
enough of this, no more, or is the first shot
of a civil war and it's just going to get
more and more intense. We did a podcast called eighteen
(29:08):
fifty Me and David Sanati, and it really was birthed
out of a golf course conversation. I'm driving in the cart.
I'm just trying to improve my golf game, and David goes, hey,
do an experiment with me. I was like, okay, it's
eighteen fifty. You got ten years to keep the Civil
War from happening. Go. Can you imagine where those conversations
(29:33):
would lead? Was it really slavery? Was it states rights?
Was it not just slavery? But overall morality and our
intent life, liberty, pursuit of happiness, all man created, equal,
dowed by a creator. Well, the point was they didn't
(29:56):
and they couldn't, and it happened. Now it's twenty twenty five.
Keep the next Civil war from happening. Go And I
immediately go to nineteen sixty eight, just from a thought
and argument standpoint, and I said, well, I hope they're
(30:17):
seeing it and having enough. I hope someone will start
talking to the sensible center, and boy, do we need
a cultural awakening, if not a spiritual revival. That's how
we got out of the last time. And then I
started thinking of Robert Kennedy, and I think it's time
somebody and I get the tragic irony he would deliver
(30:42):
this and be next. But the last time we were
really at this moment. It was the Robert Kennedy moment
and the Nixon talking to the center and the Jesus
movement that allowed us to get beyond it. What need
(31:04):
someone to start talking like this. Martin Luther King was
shot and was killed tonight.
Speaker 9 (31:12):
For those of you who are tempted to be filled
with hatred and mistrust of the injustice of such an act,
I would only say that I can also feel in
my own heart the same kind of feeling.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
I had a member of my family killed.
Speaker 9 (31:32):
But we have to make an effort to get beyond
or go beyond these all the difficult times. What we
need in the United States is not division. What we
need in the United States is not hatred. What we
need in the United States is not violence and lawlessness,
but is love and wisdom and compassion toward one another,
(31:56):
feeling of justice toward those who still suffer within our country,
whether they be white or whether they be black. Let
us say a prayer for our country.
Speaker 1 (32:10):
And for our people.
Speaker 2 (32:11):
Thank you very much.
Speaker 1 (32:13):
That's why I was so shocked when RFK Junior at
the Kirk Memorial didn't even bring up his uncle and
owned father. But someone's got to give a speech like this.
America needs this kind of truth and this kind of wisdom.
Otherwise I can't imagine what the rest of the week holds.
Speaker 2 (32:34):
Force It's Your Morning Show with Michael Del Journo.
Speaker 1 (32:39):
More senseless violence this week and exactly what prompted forty
year old Thomas Sandford of Burton to open fire on
people at a Grand blank Township church Sunday morning. Remains
under investigation. Grand Blake Township Police chief says the FBI
is involved in this investigation.
Speaker 5 (32:56):
They're devoting one hundred agents to this area because, as
you can imagine, there's a lot of witnesses that were
within the church, and that is a lot of witness
information statements that we have to obtain.
Speaker 1 (33:10):
Chief William Rennie says that they're trying to figure out
what might have prompted him to attack the church.
Speaker 5 (33:16):
We have investigators, We're going to do search warrants on
the suspects residents. We're going to find out if there
was a motive. We're going to go through cell phone records,
things like that.
Speaker 1 (33:28):

A lot of people, They're losing a lot of people.
They don't have much to show forward. We remain committed
to peace, but it takes two to tango, and unfortunately,
what we've seen over the last couple of weeks, the
Russians have refused to sit down with any bilotal meetings.
Speaker 6 (33:52):

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenski at the United Nations. It marked
the fourth time the leaders have met since Trump has
returned to office as they look for an end to
the nation's war with Russia. I'm tammy Trihio.
