grateful you're here now. Enjoy the podcast well two.
Speaker 2 (00:19):
Three, starting your morning off right. A new way of talk,
a new way of understanding different, because we're in this together.
Speaker 1 (00:30):
This is your morning.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Show with Michael O'Dell Jornan.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
Hey, good morning and welcome to Tuesday, October, the fourteenth
year of a Lord twenty twenty five on the air
and streaming live on your iHeartRadio app. This is your
morning show. I'm Michael del Journal, honored to serve you.
Jeffer's got the sound brad offul quiet this morning. His
work is finished. This work has never done. He left
it all in the playing field last night, preparing the
(00:56):
content for today's show. President Trump is tring to Washington
after signing the Middle East Peace Plan. The Jerusalem Post
they were the ones that had the cover using all
of the faces of the hostages to make up the
silhouette of Donald Trump. Would they do after the fact
headline God Bless the Peacemaker and a picture of Donald Trump.
(01:20):
Time magazine honoring President Trump on the cover. His triumph
is the headline. Meanwhile, Hama says it can only release
four of the dead hostages right now. That's been condemned
as a breach of the agreement. And again they continue
to stand by. We simply don't know where they're at.
There is a multi country search party that is going
(01:44):
to begin looking for those bodies. And yesterday was all
about reuniting hostages and families, and there were some troubling
pictures and all of them glorious, and they're reuniting. The
White House is going to be hosting a celebration for
Charlie Kirk's life today. He will posthumously get the Medal
of Freedom, the highest award you can give a civilian,
(02:06):
and this will be on his what would have been
thirty second birthday today. How's that for perfect timing. There
was no small deal signing that peace agreement. The Egyptian
president was there, the Turkish president was there, kutter Zimir
was there, The Prime Minister of Britain, German Chancellor, Italian
(02:27):
Prime Minister. This really was an accomplishment acknowledged by the world.
We will look in our sounds of the day at
how Democrats here at home are acknowledging the success of
the President in negotiating this deal. We now have a
new Jersey governor in trouble, We have a gubernatorial candidate,
We have a Virginia gubernatorial candidate, and we have a
(02:48):
California gubernatorial candidate. What do they all have in common.
They're all Democrats, and they all have controversies and are
struggling early in New Jersey. Just taking money from the
Communist Party of China. Other than that, he's got no problem.
Christynoman announced that the Coastguard will get paid, and it
was let's just be honest, It was a great opportunity
(03:10):
for to do kind of a nautical motif outfit. You know,
she likes to dress the part to show up to
tell them they're going to be getting their paycheck. And
the House Speaker Mike Johnson is warning that the current
shutdown it could be one of the longest in history.
Mariners and Dodgers, both winners and the LCS is yesterday
Bears and the Falcons, both winners on Monday Night football.
(03:31):
Poles of plenty paint a pretty fascinating picture. And again
these are before the triumph of the Mid East piece.
But fifty two percent in our first rasc me some
poll side with the president on National Guard diploma. I
think you're going to find with all of these poles
of plenty, with the exception of one which I want
to highlight the most, you see the matrix just reflecting
(03:53):
back at you. Even the poll on forty five percent
think we would have been better off had common Mala
Harris won. What did she end up with in terms
of percentage of the vote. I mean, I know it
was three hundred and twelve, it was the electoral college.
I know Trump won the popular vote, but it wasn't
by that much. I think so, if anything, you could
(04:13):
make the case here read that four percent of those
who voted for Kamala Harris do not think we'd have
been better off at she won. But it does have
a lot of people staring at it, going, how on
earth can there be almost four and there is four
and a half out of five out of ten people
who think Kamala Harris would have been a better president.
But all would I have to ignore to come to
(04:35):
that conclusion. Compare the book Tour to the Sealed Border.
Compare her or book Tour to Peace in the Middle East.
But that's the matrix reflecting back at you. But even
with the National Guard, I mean, it's you know, if
(04:56):
you watch the media, I was to use this analogy
all the time. You know, maybe you love the Oklahoma
Sooners and I do. It wouldn't be very useful to
have a radio play by play of the game. It
just told me what I wanted to hear. And so
they would tell me when O you scored, but they
(05:17):
wouldn't tell you when the other team scored. So I'm
under the impression, oh U one forty two to nothing,
only to wake up the next morning and find out
they lost forty nine to forty two. So if you're
reading and thus by what the meatia, I mean, yeah,
nobody trusts the media anymore, but it exists, and it
feeds not just what you see and hear, but what
(05:41):
pops up on the internet, what everybody's talking about. So
there's still this wall of he's a tyrant. That's the
narrative if you were to watch ABC, NBCCBSPBS, listen to NPR,
cable MSNBC, read Washington Post, New York Times, The Atlantic axios,
(06:06):
you would be under the impression that Donald Trump probably
plans to never leave until death the White House. He
is going to be a dictator. That's a tired narrative
from the first term, that he's using his military against
the people to silence and control them. He's seeking revenge
(06:28):
against all his political enemies. This guy is Hitler, this
guy is sick or I guess, as Robert DeNiro had said,
he's got to be stopped. Yeah, he's a big danger.
Now they're going to have a hard time calling him
Hitler because Hitler, of course exterminated the Jews. Donald Trump
(06:54):
just freed them. But even in this poll, does that
shock you? Fifty out of America support the president's National
Guard deployments. That's a majority of America. That's a larger
majority by percentage than the overall vote. Fifty two percent
of likely US voters support the National Guard troops to
(07:14):
defend ice facilities, including thirty nine percent who strongly support
the policy that's ice facilities. Last week, top White House
advisor Stephen Miller, we have seen over the last nine
months and ongoing legal insurrection in which district court judges
have issued rulings that are flagrantly unlawful and unconstitutional. Fifty
(07:36):
six percent of voters agree with that statement. Only thirty
one percent disagree. Among voters who strongly approve of Trump's policies,
ninety three percent using support using the National Guard to
defend the ice facility. Now, again, how many times have
we talked about if the president is removing rapists, murderers,
(07:58):
human traffickers, gang members, drug smugglers, everybody's going to be
great and cheer him on. When you get to those
who have simply broke the law by breaking into the country,
and then even they've been due processed in order to
return and have it, you start picking them up, and
(08:19):
we knew that there would be pushback. I think the
same is true in this case. There's a difference between
sending in the National Guard to guard federal facilities that
are doing their job and just sending him in to
help clean up cities who simply didn't prioritize public safety
(08:41):
or choose not to and process them in the front
door and let them right out in the back to
commit more crimes. But it's remarkable how the American people
get it when you ask them specifically. I still don't
think we've asked the question about some of the more
gray areas. I'm not gonna spend a lot of time
(09:03):
on this because I'm looking at the clock and we're
almost up with the New York City Mirror's race. It's
been about ten percent bump, which is a little bit
more than what the mayor represented. But by having the
mayor drop out of the race and make it a
three person race and heads up Mom Donnie and Cuomo,
Cuomo picked up ten points, but I don't think the
(09:26):
mayor ever had more than nine percentage points of support,
so a little bit above it. So it's a little
bit of that, you know, because when you do something
like that, you want to see that handoff go to someone.
But we didn't think it would go to Mom Donnie,
and it clearly all went to Governor Cuomo. And then
some of the other votes are breaking. But that race
(09:50):
is now ten points with I don't know two and
a half weeks something like that. Three weeks, I guess
three weeks, three weeks to go, So Mom Donnie still
if polling is accurate, looking like he's gonna be the
next mayor of New York. I wanted to hone in
on this one. How do I do this in three minutes?
How many times have we talked about the two biggest
(10:10):
questions nobody ever asks, let alone answers, what is the
proper size and role of government? And what is the
role and responsibility of this self governed with the people. See,
if you have that discussion, you're not playing shirts and skins.
(10:32):
You're saying I'm not going to play the game anymore now.
When you ask questions like do you think the government
has too much power? Guess who's to blame? You? Me? Us,
We've allowed it. I almost got fired during COVID over
a comment I made. I remember getting screamed at over it.
(10:55):
The basic payoff for COVID for you to stay home
was like fifteen hundred dollars. And I asked my listeners, seriously,
that's what your liberty was worth fifteen hundred bucks. That's
what your freedom was worth fifteen hundred bucks. How dare
you say that to people that are struggling and hurting?
(11:17):
Because I know the ultimate struggle is government's desire to
get bigger and bigger, more and more powerful, and control
you more and more. And government never controlled you more
than it did during COVID. Does the US government have
(11:37):
too much power? Sixty two percent of Americans say the
federal government has too much power. I wish they'd focus
on that and do something about it. Close down their power,
close down their sign Those won't have to do it.
A president won't have to do it, and congres certainly
won't just shut down and default. This latest reading the
(11:59):
first and President trump second term is up from fifty
one percent. So even though the number is high at
sixty two percent, it's not for a good reason. It's
for the false narrative. I mean, setting in the National
Guard too much power, using the military against its people.
(12:19):
By the way, the prior high was sixty percent under
Barack Obama. So whenever you have a popular, polarizing president,
these numbers do this. But the truth government is too powerful,
it is too big, it is too controlling. That is,
if I'm basing it on the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence,
(12:44):
the intent of our framers. Why do we have a bigger,
bigger government controlling more and more because we have a
weaker weaker people relying on government more and more and
more thinking it's a good thing. And that's your polls
(13:05):
a plenty for Tuesday, the fourteenth of October.
Speaker 2 (13:09):
This is your morning show with Michael del Chrono.
Speaker 1 (13:14):
President Trump returning triumphant from the Middle East Peace Plans,
and the Mariners and Dodgers winners in baseball. You know
what time it is, time for your top five stories
up the day, twenty six minutes after the hour, No
more oh no. After signing on to the Middle East
Peace Plan, President Trump said Monday that this is a
day the world has been waiting for. Mark Mayfield has
(13:34):
our top story.
Speaker 3 (13:36):
Addressing world leaders in Egypt on Monday, Trump said, We've
achieved the impossible.
Speaker 4 (13:40):
This is the day that people across the region and
around the world have been working, striving, hoping, and praying for.
Speaker 3 (13:48):
The twenty point plan has so far led to a
Gassa ceasefire, with Homas releasing all of its living Israeli
hostages and Israel starting to release its Palestinian prisoners. The
President says, now food and supplies will flow into war
torn Gassa, who aid the Palestinians. Trump be leaves his
plan will lead to greater peace in the region beyond
Israel and Hamas.
Speaker 1 (14:06):
I'm Mark Mayfield. Even former President Joe Biden was praising
President Trump.
Speaker 5 (14:10):
Mister Biden posted on x that he commends the President
and his team for their work in getting a renewed
ceasefire deal.
Speaker 1 (14:17):
Over the finish line.
Speaker 5 (14:18):
He added that he's grateful the last twenty living hostages
are finally reunited with their families and for the civilians
in Gaza who've experienced immeasurable loss. The former president closed
by saying the Middle East is on a path to
peace with the backing of the US and the world,
and he's hopeful that peace endures.
Speaker 1 (14:37):
I'm Jim Roop. So the President's tariffs. We like the
revenue it's generating for the government, but if it doesn't
come back to you and it just goes to the
government and government grows, that leaves you to pick up
fifty five percent of the costs associated with tariffs implemented
by the president.
Speaker 5 (14:57):
A Goldman Sax analysis suggests America consumers will bear the
major portion of the costs, as American businesses and foreign
exporters will take on twenty two percent and eighteen percent
of the costs, respectively. The Trump administration has imposed tariffs
on trading partners around the world and claimed that foreign
countries will pay the costs from the levies. However, data
(15:18):
from the Bureau of Labor Statistics confirmed last month that
consumer prices in August were up two point nine percent
relative to last August.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
I'm Jim Roop. No injuries for either Alec Baldwin or
his brother Stephen Baldwin after car ax and in the Hamptons.
Speaker 6 (15:34):
Alec Baldwin was driving in East Hampton Monday afternoon, he
said in the video, when he claims a garbage truck
cut him off, forcing him to crash into a tree.
The garbage truck company denies any fault. The Baldwins were
there for the Hamptons International Film Festival. Video shows the
brothers talking with police. Baldwin thanked them in the video.
No report of any citations. Andrew Whitman, NBC News Radio
(15:58):
New York.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
In monda day football doubleheader, the Bills lost twenty four
to fourteen in Atlanta to the Falcons. Buffalo now falls
to four and two Bears twenty five twenty four for
the Commanders in Our Nation's Capital. Baseball Seattle won both
road games in Toronto. That's huge through up two games
to nothing easy when last night ten to three Dodgers
took Game one in the National League Championship Series two
to one in Milwaukee. Game two is tonight at seven
(16:21):
oh eight.
Speaker 6 (16:23):
This is Peb from White House and your Morning show
is My Morning Show with Michael Del Jorno.
Speaker 1 (16:33):
Hey, it's me Michael. Your Morning Show is heard live
from five to eight am Central, six to nine am Eastern,
three to six am Pacific on great radio stations like
News Radio eleven ninety k EX in Portland, News Talk
five point fifty k FYI and Phoenix, Arizona Freedom one
oh four seven in Washington, d C. We'd love to
have you join us live in the morning, even take
us along on the drive to work, but better late
(16:55):
than never. Enjoyed the podcast, we call it the Your
Morning Show One Biglivered You listening to us live or
you catch the podcast on the iHeartRadio app or from
our website at Your Morning Show Online dot com. You
can also participate by emailing me at Michael D at
iHeartMedia dot com, or use the talkback button like Big
John did first thing this morning. This guy is not
(17:18):
giving up on his candidate. So the big debate for
the Mayor's rays in New York is Thursday night. Curtis
has got one shot. If he pulls it off, you
never know what could happen. So what did we have? Mom?
Donnie is currently at forty six percent. Cuomo is at
thirty three percent. So we listed what was he at fifteen?
(17:41):
That's what my photographic memories remembering saying, I didn't even
write it down. That would take some kind of performance
at a debate to shift thinks this month. You almost
wonder where I mean at this rate, it's just one
of those deals where if polls are accurate, that's a
(18:03):
big if in this day and age, especially with the
candidate like Mandani. But if they're even remotely accurate, he's
gonna win this Mars race. And I don't think that's
going to be a big, a big victory for the
Democrat Party nationally. This is something they're going to have
to own in their brand, and that's going to become
more and more difficult, especially once he gets in office
(18:23):
and starts governing. All right, thirty seven minutes after the hour,
Good morning, and welcome to your morning show. President Trump
is returning to Washington after signing the Mid East peace Deal.
He's featured on the Jerusalem Post cover God Bless the Peacemaker.
Even Time magazine has Donald Trump on the cover with
(18:45):
the headline his triumph. Now, what did happen? What did
happen was the ending of all out war and operations,
the returning of the living hostages bought careful beyond that already,
(19:05):
Hama says they can only release four dead hostages. And
for the family members that were waiting for the remains
in order to have closure, they're crying foul. There's an
international team that's going to come in and search for
these bodies. But it does beg the question, how does
one make a deal and you have no idea where
(19:27):
the deceased bodies are located. That's the level of deceit
that you're dealing with. Well, let's talk about deceit. What
would be going? And this is just you and I talking.
You know, I support the president, you know I think
this was a great accomplishment, but the future is not certain.
(19:49):
I would not be making statements like he did here. Listen,
this is.
Speaker 4 (19:53):
Not only the end of a war. This is the
end of the age of terror and death and to
be getting of the age of faith and hope and
of God.
Speaker 1 (20:05):
This reminds me of Charlie Kirk's memorial service, where we
just have a bunch of people planned and orchestrated, but
people coming in extraordinary numbers, and then just self proclaiming
a revival has started. Man, can't create a revival on
(20:27):
the spirit can And time will tell if that's a revival.
If you've been on the internet, it's nothing but a
sleuth case, not a revival. All right. I know this
is gonna sound harsh. You're like, come on, man, can
we have a day victory? No? And here's why. Already
Hamas is not coming forward with the bodies. But it's
(20:50):
even worse. Hamas has engaged in internal clashes to reassert
its control in Gaza and has launched a rocket attack
on Israel. While recent actions are mainly centered on the
consolidating power after the Israeli withdrawal from parts of the strip.
Remember the Taliban that controlled Afghanistan. Now, these were terrorist
(21:12):
thugs and they would mill about while the American troops
were there. That's why I said, you don't leave until
the conditions on the ground suggest you can leave, and
as long as you leave, the Taliban in any level
still present, it's not over. See. They would go up
to people cooperating with the US or being respectful of
(21:36):
the US, and they said, we don't know when. Could
be next month, could be next year, it could be
a decade from now. But when they're gone, we're gonna
knock on your door. We're gonna kill you and your
entire family. And you know what they did after Joe
Biden abruptly left. They went door to door and started killing.
(21:58):
This is why I was having prop problems with if
the twenty point peace plan moving forward disarms and they're
not disarmed yet. They're targeting people who cooperated with Israeli
authorities right now on the ground, you still have to
disarm them, let alone. Even if they were to disarm temporarily,
(22:20):
they're just gonna do what the Talipon did. This is
all quiet down, and when it does, we're gonna kill
all your children while you watch. This is what they do.
This is what they're doing. That's the only thing about
yesterday I was uncomfortable with. You can't make this statement.
The war on terror was not one in this agreement.
Speaker 4 (22:41):
This is not only the end of a war. This
is the end of the age of terror and death
and the beginning of the age of faith.
Speaker 1 (22:50):
Now, that would be like you had the leaders of
Hamas Hesba Lah al Qaeda, Islamijih Islami Brotherhood. I mean,
I could gone down and let's tell about everybody lined
up is Iran Iraq and they all denounced to Mohammad
and all accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior.
(23:13):
Had you won their heart and mind and soul, you
could maybe make a statement like that and is a
big of an accomplishment as it was. And please don't
hate me for this. All you negotiated was a ceasefire,
a hostage exchange, and the rest is uncertain. Now on
(23:38):
this day and age, I can't even make a reference
because I know most of you probably think you know
the Iraqi war. Who knows what narrative you bought. You
may not even believe that nine to eleven was an
authentic terrorist attack. We live in a conspiracy age. I'm
the only one that keeps saying that. But trust me,
it's the chaotic reality that's coming one day, whether it's
(23:59):
a week, a month, or a year for now going
to go. Man, that guy was right. We've turned into
crazy time. But George W. Bush once landed on a
fighter jet at sea to proclaim victory in his war prematurely.
(24:21):
First of all, everything that was accomplished yesterday was great
enough just for what it was. I mean, the view
Biden not gommily yet, but even a lot of people
are giving credit where credit is due. But you're setting
(24:42):
up their next narrative. I'm sure there'll be all over
today what Hamas is doing in the gaza right now
violently or renigging on this deal already with the remains
of the hostages that had died. Gotta be careful. We
live in a narrative world. Don't give them their next narrative.
(25:05):
Charlie Kirk would have been thirty two years old today. Instead,
the White House will give him posthumously the highest civilian
honor and Medal of Freedom that'll be awarded at the
White House. Leader today And in terms of the government shutdown,
the House Speaker Mike Johnson is now saying this could
(25:26):
be one of the longest in history. What does that mean?
Who gets paid and who doesn't? Time will tell. Finally,
we do have well started with the Attorney general candidate, obviously,
(25:47):
with some terrible text messages about the Virginia Speaker of
the House and how he put bullets in his head,
would like his wife to hold her murdered children. I mean,
it was just I mean, it just begs a question,
what do you gotta do? I mean, if he was
(26:08):
at a Coldplay concert, HU, get somebody, he'd be gone
by this dick, and then I'll never forget. Red said
to me, Well, they'll deal with him if they think
it starts affecting the governor's race. Well, then they had
their first debate and the governor took care of destroying
her own candidacy. The governor's Democratic candidate destroyed her own
(26:28):
candidacy before that one. And then you had Porter out
in California with that reporter which, by the way, two
ais this week. Can I give a shameless plug? I
don't know what it is. I was always a sucker
for talking animals and cartoons or like Ted. Even the
(26:48):
movie Ted and Ted two cracked me up. Imagine a
bear that talks with a body mouth right, So I
must sucker for any of the ais that you use
these babies. I don't know why. There's something about a
baby that looks like Donald Trump, with Donald Trump's mannerisms
and Donald Trump's voice, golfing with another sleepy baby that's
(27:12):
Joe Biden. And by the way, the conversation throughout them
golfing is hilarious enough, but the way it ends with
the baby doing Donald Trump's golf swing. I mean, that's
AI at its best. Right There was another one with porter.
Remember she got into it with that reporter. She was
(27:33):
just asking her questions and she's like, no, that's it,
I'm done, and she has a tantrum. Well, the AI
turns it into a fistfight. I mean, she just starts
pummeling the woman and you can't tell. I looked at
my son yesterday doing the baby one with Trump, and
I said, you know, AI is really fun right now.
(27:54):
It's gonna get ugly, but it's really fun right right
now until we you know, don't know what's real and
what isn't. But her candidacy is in trouble right now.
In fact, I think in the last poll that CNN did,
she was getting out pulled, and she went from being
the leader early in the race for governor to being
(28:14):
out pulled by some guy who wasn't even running, some
guy that got in her shot. Yeah. The latest the
betting odds too. Yeah. And now the latest is the
New Jersey cognatorial candidate, Mike Chiroll Cheryl he he he
got donations from a businessman who a we can't confirm
(28:36):
is a citizen, which would be illegal and be she
she Oh, sorry, Mikey, how do you say her name?
I'm talking about the New Jersey that took the money
from the the Communist Party of China. That's a female.
What's how do you pronounce it? How do you say
(28:56):
her name? Whatever it is, she's in trouble now too.
I mean they're just they're having a disaster now. I
don't know how they're going to do in the midterm
house race, but governor wise, they've got three big disasters brewing,
both in California, New Jersey, and now Virginia. But New
Jersey is the latest. And the candadate took money from
(29:18):
tens of thousands too. I mean, it wasn't like it
was just a couple of and its direct ties to
the Communist Party of China, well you search for I
don't know if I got all the names straight. Anyway,
the point of the segment was careful what you you know,
proclaim I would stay in the moment if I was
the president. What you did was great. What you did
no one else could do. It brought an end of
(29:40):
this fighting mass fighting. Uh, it got the hostage exchange.
But you can't declare victory over all of terrorism and
self proclaim a time of faith because already they were
nigging on the bodies and already they're attacking in the gaza.
So keep an eye on the everybody and don't don't
(30:01):
get out ahead of your skis yourself either. This is
the time to be very proud of the president and
what he accomplished was great, but he hasn't accomplished yet.
He shouldn't be proclaiming. So we're going to keep an
eye on these two stories as that they progresses, because
this is the kind of you know, right now, it
seems to be retribution against those who cooperated. So they're
(30:24):
targeting rivals. But all it takes is one exchange with
a Jewish citizen or Jewish military and you're right back
to fighting. So with caution. That's why we said we
celebrate what we have, we move forward, clinging to hope
(30:45):
because we know that these people worship a different God.
You worship by putting God ahead of yourself, obeying him.
You worship by lifting your hands and singing praises to him.
They worship by taking lives because their mission is to
conquer or die trying. You didn't win their soul. You
(31:11):
just got a hostage exchange one step at a time.
Speaker 2 (31:14):
It's your morning show with Michael del Chano.
Speaker 1 (31:19):
You're just waking up. The White House will be hosting
a celebration of Charlie Kirk's life today. Mark Mayfield has
the details.
Speaker 3 (31:26):
President Trump says he'll be posting mostly awarding Kirk the
Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Speaker 7 (31:31):
They canna have a great celebration at the White House.
Speaker 1 (31:33):
In the East Room of the White House. Kirk's wife, Erica,
will be in attendance.
Speaker 3 (31:37):
The thirty one year old conservative activist was shot and
killed while speaking at a rallying in Utah in September.
Speaker 1 (31:43):
