Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hi.

Speaker 2 (00:00):
I'm Michael del Johno, and your morning show can be
heard live as it's happening five to eight am Central
and six to nine Eastern on great stations like six
twenty WJDX and Jackson, Mississippi, or Akron's News Talk six
forty WHLO and Akron, Ohio and News Radio five seventy
WDAK and Columbus, Georgia. We'd love to be a part
of your morning routine, but we're glad you're here now.

(00:21):
Enjoyed the podcast starting your morning off right.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
A new way of talk, a new way of understanding
because we're in this together.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
This is your morning show with Michael Bell, Jordan Up,
Frideay Pride. Hey. October the eighteenth, twenty twenty four. I
know it was Monday, but it's Friday, seven minutes after
the hour. Thanks for waking up with your morning show.
I'm Michael del Journal Jeffrey Lyon at the controls. If
you're listening on your iHeartRadio app, you got the talk

(00:52):
back button. That's our way of hearing your voice. After all,
it's your show, so how can we do it without
your voice? We had seven million peat Watch that interview
with Brett bear On Fox. Think about that, not on
multiple networks, just on Fox three o'clock in the afternoon,
West coast time, five Central, sixth eastern. Seven million people watch.

(01:13):
Now did that help her or herd her?

Speaker 3 (01:15):
Well?

Speaker 2 (01:15):
For those that planned to vote for they found a
way to think it was courageous and good. Everybody else
saw the dance for what it was, shallow and non
transparent and deceitful. Now the answer is Tim Walls headed
to the View on Monday, headed to the Daily Show.

(01:36):
We gotta name this. If she was Kamala Palooza on
the interview tour, what do we call walls? So I
came up with King Knucklehead in his court, but nobody
knows who king and his court was. Well a few
softball questions softball reference, nobody liked it. You came up
with the knucklehead Waltz, which is a mispron mispronunciation of walls.
Then Josh Strong with tall tail, Tim teaches the trolls.

(02:00):
George the corporate chef comes in with climbing the Walls
Tour with a correct pronunciation. Now we've got one last
one that's a contender. I tell you, how about the
walls of China Tour or when the Walls come tumbling down. Uh,
keep those coming on the talkback button. Our election day

(02:20):
is less than three weeks away. Former President Trump was
at the ALFREDY. Smith Memorial Foundation dinner honoring Catholic charities.
Kamala a no show suffer, not my former president. You
can't beat the one we ought to do, mister president.
Good morning, well, good morning.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
To you, pizza boy. And I have to tell you something.
I have a nickname for what the Walls Tour is
going to be. We're gonna call it Loser Palosa. Okay,
we're gonna call it that because he's a.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Throw in the towel loser.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
That's right, He's a loser. He's a strange guy. He's
a weird guy. And have you ever noticed this, By
the way, you look at Gwen Walls, that's the wife,
and she looks like a cross between crooked Hillary Clinton
and Egene Carroll, two crazy people. These are bad people.
I can tell you that these are very manned people

(03:20):
and sick people. And by the way you mentioned the
Brett Bear interview. He is the only bear who doesn't
you know what in the woods. I can tell you
that he's a great guy. We love that guy. He's
a great We didn't like him a no, we love
that guy. What a tremendous guy. Brett Baar is a
great guy. The only person who spells Brett with one

(03:40):
tea that I could ever get behind that much.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
I can tell you, Wow, I don't know how you
do that, Loser, Palooser, that so RFK.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
You'm a very clever person. I'm a very clever person.
I'm a very carehertive person. I've taught a lot of people.
William Shakespeare, I called him Bill. He's a great guy.
We are a very doc sus I thought him had
a run. We're very creative, and that's why your ratings
are through the roof. I can tell you that already
we know about it. Even next month's trainings are going
to be great after we win.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
I can tell you that it's a national phenomenon. They're
studying right now, that a national show could succeed so
much on a Friday and fail so much out of
Monday through Thursday. They can't figure out what it is,
and I'm not going to help them. All right, loser pollutes,
all right, so how big of a deal was it?

Speaker 4 (04:24):
Her?

Speaker 2 (04:24):
Not showing up let alone, sending a very weird video
with Molly Shannon. The last presidential either incumbent or challenger
to not show up for the Alfred Y. Smith Memorial
Foundation dinner was Walter Mondale. We all know how that
turned out.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Well, you look at Walter Mondale, and you know he
lost forty nine states, and we're looking at maybe that's
going to happen. You know, Barack Obama, Barack Hussein Obama
has the great rush. She used to say. You know,
Barack thought there was more than fifty states. Remember that
he thought there was fifty four. We're gonna win all
of those. We're going to win all fifty plus that

(05:04):
Baraque thinks we have. You know, that's a crazy thing,
but we're going to do so well. You know, she
didn't go because she's afraid. First of all, if she's
in the presence of faithful people, godly people, her skin
starts to melt. You know that, like crazy Nancy Pelosi.
It's a horrible thing. Her skin starts to melt right off,

(05:24):
very upset. It's the wizard of us. She says, I'll
get you my pretty and your little dog too. And
we don't want to deal with that. We love the dogs.
You know that. We love the dogs, except albag Daddy,
who died like a dog. Remember we took them out,
and Hamas were just lost a leader too, he also
died like a dog. And if I was your president,

(05:45):
we're going to take a lot of these terrorists out
like dirty dogs. You know, they're not to be confused
with the greatest hot dogs the world has ever seen
in New York City, dirty water dogs. But we love
the we love the Alsemith dinner, and we're looking forward
to repeating what happened the last time. Somebody skipped it.
Walter Mondale forty nine states We're gonna win them all.

(06:06):
We're gonna win them all. I think it's gonna be great.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
Well, I knew you were gonna be a fantastic I
knew you were gonna be in good spirits. Friday with
forty five. Looking at the polls, I had my producer read,
do something different. We compared because you know, everybody's got
an argument. People narrativize everything now, So you know, if
you start doing well in the polls, then suddenly nobody
believes in the polls, or people that even support you,
they're afraid they're just waiting for a hammer to drop.

(06:30):
They don't you know, they want them. So we just
took all the Real Clear Politics averages for September and
compare them to all the Real Clear Politics averages to October,
and we saw them amazing swings and bumps. You've got
to be feeling the momentum now. I don't know if
these poles will hold out. They're somewhat within the margin
of era. But where you were down by one, you're
now up by as much as three. We know how

(06:51):
you underpolled. That could mean you're up by six. I
can tell you this. You beat Hillary Clinton in twenty sixteen.
She was leading nationally by six percent, went on to
win the national popular vote, but still lost the election.
Kamala Harris is either tied or up by a half
a point. Logic would tell you that's not within the
margin of error. And things are looking very good for

(07:12):
you. You must be pleased. How do you finish and close
the deal?

Speaker 3 (07:15):
Well, we're doing very well, I can tell you that.
And you think we're leading by three, I think we're
leading by three hundred, which is incredible. You know, you
look at these snake poles a lot of fake poles,
and then you look at the real polls and they
show us up by a lot. You know, we're up
by so much. And even their polls, they're internal polls.
They're having a hard time, and we're doing so well.

(07:35):
You know, we're looking at it. There's eighteen days and
by the way, Kamala Harris or teleprompter broke, and she
still thinks this thirty two days. You can stop saying
a thirty two, thirty two, thirty two. It's incredible, you know,
if it's not written right in front of her. Remember
the movie Anchor Man and he said something horrible about
sandygo them to do terrible things to themselves, which we

(07:58):
would never say that to anybody, except unless you know,
maybe Democrats, who are horrible people. But you look at it,
you know she will read anything that's on the teleprop
to thirty two thirty two, thirty two. Let her believe that.
By the way, let them all go out and vote
for thirty two days. They're not going to be able
to do it. But you look at this. We're doing
very well in the polls. Nobody's haven't done better in

(08:20):
the polls than we are. And we are leading by
so much and we're so excited, but we have to
get out and we have to keep voting. We don't
want to get comfortable. We don't want to do It's
called what happened the Crooked Hillary. They were comfortable. They've
put been by a lot, and what happened. I won
by a lot like I always do. So we're doing
very well. We're very excited about it, and we can't

(08:43):
wait to win and get sworn in again and make
America great acause that's what we want to do. We
want to make America great again. And there's a lot
of people who are not happy about it. You look
at Chuck Schumer, Chuck, I call them Chaz. I call
him Chucky sometimes and I told them yesterday at the
Al Smith dinner, you know that you could be the
first woman president. You never know that, but it wouldn't

(09:07):
be very hard. He's a guy just like Lizsey Graham,
just like Boot and Edge. They sit when they pee,
you understand that they sit when they seek. He's very close.
I heard it. I was in the bathroom once Chuck
Schumer was on the call. Listen he was on. I'll
tell you what happened went to the bathroom. He was

(09:30):
on the phone. I heard him, and his voice is unmistakable,
and I saw his seat facing I saw his seat
facing the front of the stall, and I heard a tinkle.
There's only one explanation for that. He's only one explanation
for that. He is seated when he peeas and that's
what happened. So he's very close, very close. You were

(09:50):
the first woman president.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
You were actually once probably the second closest to death
you were in your lifetime. You were once in the
bathroom with Chris Christy too.

Speaker 3 (09:59):
Right, Well, that's a tough situation to be And you
know they called that, They called that biological warfare. You know,
when you talk about astronomers. I gotta look very well
with NASA. I also gotta look very well with Galileo.
We love Galileo. And he found Chris Christie. You know,
he said, look, these are the gas giants. I said, wow,

(10:21):
look at that guy, Christmas. He's a guy who has
his own grim. But if you're stuck in a restroom
with him, you will have to wear you know, it's
like the China virus. You have to wear a mask
because deadly fumes I call it very deadly. But I
was in the bathroom once I was caught, and very
very tough situation, but we got through it. That was

(10:43):
the first assassination at them because I had to kill
me with his gas. It was really terrible.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
Ah, all right, three weeks to go close the deal.
You know what happens. By the way, if you don't win,
do we still visit every Friday.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
We're gonna win. Don't worry about it. Win, but we're
still going to talk. But we're going to win. And
what I did, I have us access to the White House.
We're going to do so well. We're doing so well.
Let's believe it. Let's think about it. You look at
your writings, you look at my writings, you look at everything.
We're doing incredibly well because people love it. You know,
they love you. They love me a little more, but

(11:19):
they love you, and you know that's great. We're doing
so well and we're very excited about winning, and we're
going to do that. There is no other option. We're
going to win.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
I would like to release my medical records. I had
my full physical doctor Bobby White yesterday. My blood work
right down the middle.

Speaker 3 (11:36):
We love Bobby, We love Bobby Bobby's a tremendous guy.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
You call him Bobby.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
I call all people named Bob or Robert Bobby. We
love that unless we don't like them, but we love them.
Bob Marley, Bobby White, Bobby Kennedy, we love Bobby. Bobby's
a tremendous guy.

Speaker 2 (11:52):
I came in with flying colors. I have the blood work,
the vitals, and the health of an ethnic thirty year old.
Now if I could just find that athletic thirty year
old's body, there you have it, folks. Friday with forty five,
hel do our chief. He's the one we all say.
Heil to mister President. Thank you so much as always
for your visit.

Speaker 3 (12:13):
Thank you, God, bless your pizza. Boy. You're a tremendous guy.
You're doing very well.

Speaker 2 (12:17):
Congratulations Friday with forty five, Thank you so much. All right,
nineteen minutes after that, we come back, quick look at
your top five stories of the day. The economy is
affecting the ability of some people to pay their mortgages.
Aaron Reyale has that story. And a bipartisan panel set
up after the Donald Trump assassination attempt is calling for
a shakeup at the Secret Service. We always give the

(12:38):
final story to Rory. That and more forty minutes to
go straight ahead. This is Your Morning Show with Michael
Del Trono. We had this talkback from Kate Fyi in Phoenix, Arizona.

Speaker 5 (12:55):
Anytime a Republican is on these lamestream media talk show MSNBCCBS, etc.
They need to be asking these panelists, will you accept
the results of the election when Trump wins? And we
stop call MAGA supporters extremists. I think we know the
answers no, but we need to get them on record.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
Yeah, I'm with you, Woodie, But again, what's left of
the media, and there is no trust or influence quite
frankly like it used to have. It's in the eye
of the beholder. It's a narrative, and they controlled the narrative.
And the narrative isn't an honest one. It's a weapon.
So it doesn't matter that Hillary Clinton repeatedly and to
this day doesn't accept the outcome of the twenty sixteen election.

(13:37):
It only matters that they have. By the way, it
doesn't matter that entire magazine they revealed they planned an
insurrection if Joe Biden had lost and had a struggle
to call it off, and they had conditioned you through
Antifa and Black Lives Matter with unrest in cities prior
to that. But no matter what, in that game, we're
living in a matrix and there's a death of journalism.

(13:57):
That's the problem that's bigger than the problems we're trying
to solve. Speaking of the problems we're trying to solve,
that brings Aaron Rayale into the conversation. The economy is
affecting people's ability. It's funny you and I were talking
earlier this week about how we've been following the debt,
not just of the country but of the individuals. Credit
cards are maxed out and we're all bracing for defaults
and late late fees and payments and what are we seeing.

(14:20):
We're seeing they're still maxed out on their credit cards,
but the defaults are coming on mortgages. Both not good
scigns heading into an election for an incumbent Kamala Harris,
that's for sure.

Speaker 6 (14:32):
No, it is not great. And listen, expensive mortgage rates,
homes prices, you put in the rising cost of living,
A lot of people are not able to make it
all meet, and they start missing bills, delinquencies go up. Now,
we do know in the second half of this year,
credit card delinquencies have actually ticked down, which is good.
Is but there are certain cities where mortgage delinquency is higher.

(14:55):
Many of those cities kind of surprisingly are in Texas.
That shocked me a little. The number one city for
mortgage delinquency with twenty three percent of the mortgages being
in delinquency Laredo, Texas. Yeah, I was like, okay, now
that is way higher. The Detroit came in second, and
no one is above seventeen percent. Detroit is in second

(15:17):
with sixteen percent than Baton, Rouge, Philly, Newark, Corpus Christi,
El Paso, Baltimore, Lubbock, and Memphis rounding out the top ten.
Memphis is at twelve percent in delinquency. A lot of
these cities on this list, compiled by wald Hub are
in the South, but across the board, they're generally, like

(15:37):
I'm making a generalization here because Houston isn't a poor city,
but they're generally poorer cities. But Houston is in the
sixteenth spot.

Speaker 2 (15:45):
This is less a.

Speaker 6 (15:46):
Symptom of like getting in over your head buying too
much house that you can't afford and more symptom of
the cost of living increasing. Yeah, because if you look
at like if you look at mortgage requirements state, this
is not eight You couldn't have six houses and make
you know, sixty thousand a year now not going to happen.
You generally need twenty percent down. You generally need to

(16:06):
have a job and income and have shown that you've
had that. It's harder, it's more onerous to actually get
a mortgage, so they're not underwater the same way before.
This is truly just multiple delinquencies because we're also seen
in all the cities on this list your theme delinquencies
on all other forms of credit as well.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
Two things that jump out at me that's interesting. Number One,
when the federal government overspends and it has to the
tune of thirty six trillion dollars, you end up in debt.
Your debt payment is now your biggest expenditure. That's not
a good way to live as an individual, as a company,
and certainly as a country. But what's interesting is what
they default on, and they start defaulting on priorities, you know,

(16:46):
and we see this at the state level as well.
Whenever the state you know, starts getting in debt. What
does it do well? It starts cutting back on its
primary role roads, bridges, infrastructure. That's the priority of state government.
That should be be like if you and I were
at home and money got tight, well, we always pay
the mortgage. It's vacations and gifts and dinners out to restaurants,

(17:07):
a discretionary spending that should be cut. What we see
is the cuts and priorities, and the American people do
it the same way as the government. Defense is the
number one priority of the federal government and it's the
one thing that gets cut the most when we run
in deficits, compared to entitlements that are attached to pandering
for votes. So it's funny how American people like its country,
both have a spending problem, both have a debt problem,

(17:28):
and have a prioritize problem when money gets tight. The
other interesting part is that we can't know the answer
to is how many people had some of these who's
quicker to de fault one with a higher interest rate
that bought recently and we're hoping they could refinance by
now and they can't. Or those with existing loans, because
if you were sitting with two three percent interest, you

(17:50):
shouldn't be struggling with your mortgage, with the cost of living.
You should be struggling with groceries. So, I mean, a
lot of unknowns make this interesting. And it's hard to
pinpoint it based on the locations because you've got rural areas,
inner city areas, blue areas, some not so blue. Yeah,
I think there's more we don't know than do know,
but we do know that that's not a good thing

(18:11):
for an incumbent running for president in three weeks and
people are struggling.

Speaker 6 (18:14):
No, it's a terrible thing. And knowing that, listen, it's
cities where there's problems, lots of problems. And we've talked
about this before, but you know, I sometimes I'm just
I do a lot of these lists so you get
to see like kind of where the data points, and
so often it points to these cities in the South
that are just struggling so much. And I always it's money.

(18:37):
It usually comes down to money. Money makes things easier.
It doesn't make you happier, but it certainly makes it easier.
And to continue to constantly be like.

Speaker 5 (18:45):
How do we fix these cities?

Speaker 6 (18:47):
Like how do we fix it? Like there has to
people turn it around all the time, like there's waves,
there's good and bad, and there's everything is nuanced. It's
not just one easy solution to just throw money at
the problem. But at the same time, there has to
be better, better leadership at the top and the top
down so that we're not seeing these people and we're
not seeing like again, these are people who bought too

(19:08):
much house. These are people who lost their job or
their small business dried up, or whatever the case may be,
which is why they're finding themselves in delinquency, not because
they're delinquent people.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
Well that and you know, it's kind of like when
somebody's really sick and they've got fifteen symptoms. We can
focus on the fifteen sickness symptoms or the one disease.
These are the things that add up to seven and
ten Americans think we're heading in the wrong direction, or
as we saw in the recent polling yesterday from CBS specifically,
their life was better off during Donald Trump than today,

(19:40):
and they believe firmly that we're heading in the wrong
direction and that if we do continue in this direction,
their life is going to be worse. That's what this
all adds up to. These are all the things along
with approval ratings that point to somebody's about to get fired.
And if they're not well, then the matrix is kicked
in greater than the the policies and the common sense

(20:01):
of the direction of the country because things are not
going well now.

Speaker 6 (20:05):
Listen, they're not. And I know it's frustrating because if
you look. I was talking to my friend who's an
economist just on Saturday, and he was like, the economy
is great right now. It really is, like if you
look at it, and we were talking about in the
context of like North America, and I was like, because
he's from Mexico too, and there's a new president and
we were just talking about her. And he's like, listen,
if you're bullish on America, you're bullish on Mexico because

(20:29):
they're so intrinsically linked. And I was like, yeah, but
couldn't the presidential election really alter that given that Trump
wants to move a lot of things back. He's like, sure, sure,
it alters it a little bit. But if you're looking
at these big macro trends, the economy is in a
good place. And I'm like, then why are so many
people struggling? And his short answer was, if you didn't
have any equity in like either a home or markets

(20:49):
or anything, then you're not winning. But if you did,
you're on a tear. And it's that simple. It's like
this bifurcated economy essentially between the haves and the have nots,
which always pred sense itself following any sort of unrestled Yeah,
and swept on.

Speaker 2 (21:04):
And somewhere swept under that rug is you can't spend
your way out of a spending problem, and you can't
debt your way out of a debt problem, because it's
it's all very inflation. Are a great reporting, You have
a great weekend. Good luck with that new horse, and
maybe may you stay in the saddle, and may you
get a couple of goals. We'll find out how you
did Monday. Thanks Day, youtobe by by a fight if

(21:25):
you're just waking up real quick over your top five
stories of the day. President Trump spoke at the twenty
twenty four Al Smith Memorial Foundation dinner. It honors Catholic charities.
All incumbent presidents and candidates have attended. In fact, the
last to pull a no show was Walter Mondale, and
he went on to lose Kamala Harris pulled a note

(21:46):
show and it was noticed Mark Mayfield has more.

Speaker 4 (21:49):
Trump addressed the Crowns and said he was just happy
to show up anywhere without a SUBPOENA tradition.

Speaker 3 (21:54):
Halls that I'm supposed to tell a few self deprecating
jokes this evening.

Speaker 2 (22:00):
Chill here it goes.

Speaker 4 (22:03):
Nope, I've got nothingk you called Harris a very disrespectful
for non making an appearance at the event. The event,
held in New York, benefits Catholic Charities and was hosted
by comedian Jim Gaffigan, who also heavily criticized Vice President
Harris for not attending. Harris's stead addressing the audience with
a pre recorded video message where she praised the dinner
for supporting the charitable works of the Catholic Church. She

(22:23):
also made several jokes about Trump and a skit with
comedian Mally Shannon, noting she was glad there.

Speaker 2 (22:28):
Was a fact checker there that night. Jesus, I'm Mark Neefield.
All right, we all know there's less than three weeks
to go. There's been great momentum in the polls shifting
in the Swing States towards Trump and we all know
that the Harris camp is trying to combat that with
a lot of interviews. Seven million watched the Brett Behrer interview.
Minnesota Governor Tim Wallas is going to take his turn
on Monday. He'll be on The View and The Daily

(22:50):
Show as they try to close the gap and the
momentum that Trump is gained. The family of the former
One Direction singer Liam Payne has finally spoken of their
heartbreak on the news of his death in Buenos Aires.
Michael Castner has that story seems to.

Speaker 3 (23:04):
Me the dad.

Speaker 2 (23:05):
He's Bruns, Booby and must.

Speaker 7 (23:08):
Payne died at the age of thirty one on Wednesday
after falling from his hotel balcony in Argentina. In his
statement released Thursday, his family said Liam will forever live
in our hearts and we'll remember him for his kind,
funny and brave soul. It's not known if Payne's fall
was intentional or an accident. Fans gathered outside the hotel

(23:29):
Wednesday night to hold a.

Speaker 2 (23:30):
Vigil for the British musician. He leaves behind a young son.

Speaker 3 (23:36):
I'm Joe Big in Tampa and.

Speaker 4 (23:38):
My Morning show is Your Morning Show with Michael gil Jorno.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
Thanks for waking up with your morning show. Israel confirming
the leader of hamas the mastermind behind the October seventh
invasion has been taken out in the Gaza. Election is
less than three weeks away for President Trump was at
the Alperty Smith Memorial Foundation dinner Kamala Stift and sent
in an SNL style video with Molly Shannon, and it
was noticed Tim Wallas is headed the TV circuit on

(24:03):
Monday with the view he'll also be on The Daily
Show and The Guardians. One for the Ages last night
to steal that one in ten innings, Yankee still lead
the series two games to one. Dodgers with a win
today can advance to the World Series. In a bipartisan
panel set up after Donald Trump's assassination attempt is calling
for a shakeup at the Secret Service, our national correspondent

(24:24):
Rory O'Neil is here to take a look at what
went wrong and what's being recommended to make sure it
doesn't happen again. Rory, Good morning, Yeah, good morning, Michael.

Speaker 1 (24:33):
It's an interesting timeline to read. It's just over fifty
pages long. It actually breaks it down into a couple
of different sections. One doing a TikTok of exactly what
happened that day in Butler, Pennsylvania, and then focusing on
some of the solutions to write the ship there over
at the Secret Service, some of those recommendations are low
hanging fruit, improving chain of command and communications, and using

(24:58):
drones every time there's an outdoor event like this. But
some of it is going to be a bit tougher
and a bit more structural, and that's going to take time.
With this panel recommending that the next head of the
Secret Service come from the outside and not promoting from within.

Speaker 2 (25:13):
I love the way you worded that, because as you're
going through the recommendations, a handful of them, because from
the very beginning, our first reaction was, all right, this
was really either poor planning, poor communication, poor execution, or
something far worse. And then when you're reading all of
these recommendations, for many of them, you're like, you mean

(25:35):
you weren't. You mean you weren't. And then some of them,
of course, are more what we would call learning lessons.
It reminded me of the nine to eleven Commission, which
came down to failure of imagination. But then I was like,
have you seen the movie executive decision. They did the
very same thing. The ones that you think are difficult,
give us a couple of examples of those and what
makes them difficult.

Speaker 1 (25:54):
Well, in some ways, it's personnel and proper training for
people a lot. In this case, they say that you
had some young, inexperienced agents who were responsible for securing
the scene. They say that was a big failure. There
not enough senior people with the experience, and then they
need to assign them accordingly so that you make sure
at least a person with this level of experience is

(26:16):
in charge of this kind of an event. Because the
Secret Service does have to do this kind of security,
but they're also responsible for those major national security events
like the Super Bowl or the DNC and the RNC
that we just went through, the inauguration, things like that.
So there are a lot of different fundamental changes they
say have to happen as well, even starting basic training

(26:38):
for these agents.

Speaker 2 (26:38):
And it depends on which one we're looking at, too,
because if we're talking about Pennsylvania, that was really you know,
he's there with a range finder, then you lose track
of him. The people are all filming him. The snipers
had him on the roof climb and jumping around. They
let them get eight shots off. There was zero communication
to get Trump off stage. There's a lot to learn
in that one alone. And then I guess the other

(26:59):
big question is nobody ever brings this up anymore. But
the early indications of well, last minute Kamala went to
the area, the I forgot who the other one was
the I think it was Joe Biden or somebody else
was in the area. And was that a strain on resources?
I don't know. Are we heading towards getting the bottom
of it, because the main thing is we got to

(27:20):
make sure it never happens again.

Speaker 1 (27:22):
Well, yeah, and now this report specifically only looked at Butler.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
They did not do anything with what happened in Palm Beach.
But that would be drones. They need more drones. We're
all in this together. This is Your Morning Show with
