Speaker 1 (00:00):

fifty k E n I Anchorage, Alaska, Talk Radio eleven
ninety Dallas Fort Worth, and Freedom one O four seven
in Washington, d C. We'd love to have you listen

morning routine. But better late than never. Enjoy the podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
As God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly
starting your morning off right.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
A new way of talk, a new way of understanding.

Speaker 4 (00:31):
Because queareness together. This is your morning.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
Show with Michael gil Trump.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Okay, I think we know what Jeffer's been working on.
Seven minutes after that, one of the all time. In fact,
we've inserted into Sounds of the day as well. That's good,
that's the line everyone remembers, but less nessman describing it
like it's the Hindenburg lie.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
The humanity, Oh the event. You see my shirt?

Speaker 2 (01:05):
This is from the original Turkey bra Oh my goodness,
where did you get that?

Speaker 5 (01:09):
There is a seventies sports thing on X that I
order short shirts from. I've got a sweat hog shirt,
I've got wkrp ah.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
They don't make them like that. Those are two of
my favorites. Welcome Back Cotter and WKRP.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
Welcome Back.

Speaker 6 (01:26):
That's from nineteen seventy eight and it's still funny.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
Oh yeah, the cast was great and had that. You know,
remember when.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
We were young, there were those that were in love
with Lonnie Anderson, which I never was.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
It was always Bailey for me, and it was both
of them one now.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
But and then that thought to myself for the longest time,
how come somebody should have become WKRP.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
I think everybody tried to become WKRP.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
No, I mean literally, oh, like why there wasn't a
WKRP in Cincinnati, right, you would have thought licensing and
you could have and then you could have even hired
one of them.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
You got Venus. I mean, I don't know how many
are gone now.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
I know Lennie Anderson's gone, I know Johnny Fever's gone.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
Is Venus gone?

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Tim Reid, Mister Carlton's gone, Mister Carlson has passed. We
don't want to start on a negative depressing note, but no,
not at all. I had my State of the Thanksgiving address, which,
by the way, the premise is simple. I reject though
grateful to Lincoln. I reject Thanksgiving is a holiday. On principle,

(02:33):
it should be an every day, every moment celebration of discipline.
Will address that in my State of the Thanksgiving address.
Davids and I he's either going to do ranked choice
voting again or at least that's the early word that
the Dems are eyeing ranked choice voting. That's what produced mom, Donnie.
They say it's a way as counting everybody's vote. It's

(02:54):
a way of manipulating everybody's vote vote to give the
candidate you want, not the one that people chosen. So
we're going to break down what that is, how really
undemocratic and un American it is. Later with David Zanati
and uh, we've got a real break in peace, or

(03:17):
so it appears. And again we all kind of measure
our optimism because the last every time we get close
to peace with Russian and Ukraine, bombing commences. But an
advisor for Vladimir Putin has confirmed that President Trump's envoy,
Steve Whitkoff, will be visiting the Kremlin, headed to Moscow
on Tuesday of next week. The news comes after Ukraine

(03:38):
reportedly said it had reached common understanding with the Trump
administration on the outline of the peace deal with is
twenty eight points. They're massaging some of those points, but
again the notion that we knew from the beginning some
territory would have to be conceded. And so really this round,

(04:00):
I thought the toughest sell would be Ukraine over Russia.
I mean, this is as good as an off ramp
as Russia is ever going to get. Are they really
going to take it this time? We'll find out next week.
With that'll give us a lot to be thankful for.
New study, four out of five voters think corruption is

(04:23):
a big problem with the federal government. And again, you know,
we talked about David Sanaudi on several occasions. Loss of trust,
it really is. It comes from this dysfunctional death of journalism.
It comes from this dysfunctional social dilemma that we're in.

(04:44):
It comes from the indoctrination and socialization through education. It's
been brewing for a long time and simmering in a
crock pot. And you add things like COVID to that.
There's been a massive loss of trust. We don't trust
the government, we don't trust agencies, we don't trust doctors,
we don't trust each other. But this is a big

(05:08):
problem in a government of form by the people. We
don't by the tune of four out of five trust
our own government and think it's corrupt. We'll kick that
around a new study. This is like pin drop, mic drop.
How many times in life? And I guarantee you it's

(05:31):
nine out of ten times. Do we fail because we
don't know what to do? Versus we're really failing because
we don't do what we know. It should haunt you,
haunts me. Look, we all know. I didn't even need
to watch the documentary The Social Blemma, though I highly
recommend it. I mean, in an hour and a half,

(05:58):
you're gonna understand everything that was created, what it was
created for, how it blew up in our face, and
with the people who created it. Know, is the genie
out of the bottle, the toothpaste out of the tube
that can't be put back. It can simply be avoided,

(06:24):
kind of like an atomic bomb, like a nuclear weapon. Okay,
it was created, you have the technology, clearly, no one.

Speaker 4 (06:33):
Can use it. It's fatal.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
This should take your breath away. I can't be the
only one who used to lay in bed and know
my children were in their room and wonder what they're
experiencing because there was a time the room was a
safe place. They were under my roof, under my protection.
They're safe. It'll be different when they go to the

(07:02):
fair with their friends and I have to trust God.
But they're safe.

Speaker 4 (07:05):
No, they're not.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
In fact, all the worst places they are places on
their phone that if they were physically there, you'd be
there on your knees or in the car racing towards
it to rescue them. That's what the internet can do.
It can bring the whole world into that room.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
Now.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
Obviously, if you were hearing noises up in the room
and there were twenty bullies in there, chanting and taunting
your daughter, you'd get the kids out. But you don't
know it's there when it's on a phone with headphones on.
This is the kind I don't want to put fear
in your life, but I mean, these are kind things
used to haunt me when I was lay in bed,
and so when I read this study.

Speaker 4 (07:52):
Just one week, if your kids could be off.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
And if you have multiple kids, I have one that
was never into this and one that was really into this,
and seeing the difference in them and they're genetically identical.
It's mind blowing for me. It's like playing with arsenic

(08:17):
just one week off social media and they found that
the signs of mental health symptoms significantly reduced. And that
was just one week off. Now that's not a shock
to any of us. We all know it's bad. I mean,

(08:42):
they might as well just be smoking run at the
kitchen table, right. We know it's bad, and we know
they're doing it, and yet nobody's making an effort to stop.
Got to kick that one around, and if we can
make progress on that, well, that'd be right up there
within the Russian Ukrainian War. In terms of things to
be thankful for. Boy, do we have some. It's not

(09:05):
that they're picking better games. It's that the Lions and
the Packers have gotten so much better. We've got some
really good Thanksgiving Day games. We've got the Lions hosting
the Packers first, and we got the Chiefs and the Cowboys.
Can the Cowboys even beat the Chiefs? I mean that's
the part. Everybody's having a hard time getting their arms around, right.
The Chiefs are beatable and they still got a lot

(09:25):
of talent. Why are they so beatable?

Speaker 4 (09:27):
All of a sudden and then the late night game
will beat the Bengals and the Ravens.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
And maybe the best game is Friday, which is the
Bears and the Eagles. Now college wouldn't even know where
to begin. So we enter into the holidays with Ohio State, Indiana, Texas,
A and m and Georgia still one through four their
locks for the playoffs. But Ohio State eleven to zero

(09:55):
taking on nine to two Michigan. You can throw the
records in the ranks right off the table when these
two meet. A fifth straight loss to its arch rival
likely would and keep Ohio State out of the college
football playoffs, but it would crack open the door for
maybe Michigan to get in two very good teams. Miami

(10:16):
then the nice to have Miami back, I mean, maybe
you're not a Hurricane fan, but it's yeah, I'll nice.
It's nice to have the Thugs back and Pittsburgh number
twenty four ranked at eight and three.

Speaker 4 (10:29):
That'll be a great matchup.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
And there's a lot of people looking at my they're
trying to figure out between Miami and Notre Dame. This
game could play a big part of that. Georgia, Georgia
Tech is another one though. Georgia Tech. How many other
times did they have last year when they played this
is when you can throw the record out now. Georgia
really needs this if they want to be a top
seed going into the playoffs, and I think it would.

(10:56):
Does it make it impossible for Georgia to get to
the SEC title game with a loss? Georgia Tech nine
and two, Georgia ten and one, And then we got
Texas A and M and Texas can arch manning find
a season defining victory and knocking off the Aggies. The
Aggies can clinch a trip to the SEC Championship game
with a win. They got to play the Texas Longhorns,
and they gotta play him with Matthew McConaughey on the

(11:19):
sidelines and in Austin, right, it really is some greatful
I know. Bill Maher addresses what's wrong with Thanksgiving? What's
wrong with being with family, with friends, with football, with food,
and you got some great football this weekend.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
Too bad. I won't be here periodically.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
To give you the updates, book it or the picks,
and we're gonna preview everything that has to do with Thanksgiving,
as this is the Thanksgiving Eve your birds should be
in the refrigerator by now. I think it'd be a
little premature to have him soaking in the sink, but
he should be, you know, thawing out a little bit

(11:58):
in the fridge.

Speaker 4 (11:59):
Right.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
The cost of the Thanksgiving meal was down significantly. It
was sixty four dollars and five cents in twenty twenty two.
This year a bargain at fifty five dollars and eighteen cents,
turkey being the biggest, down sixteen percent. And if you
think the promotion of trying to get turkeys to fly
failed for WKRP, they had a promotion in California where

(12:22):
a truck full of frozen turkeys for those in need
was stolen.

Speaker 4 (12:26):
That more. Between the now and the.

Speaker 3 (12:27):
End of the f show, This is your Morning Show
with Michael del Choino.

Speaker 2 (12:33):
Good morning, and happy Thanksgiving from all of us to
all of yours.

Speaker 4 (12:37):
If you're just waking up these.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
Oh you'all top five stories of the day, and there's
one that's really to be thankful for it.

Speaker 7 (12:42):
But that happens, and I don't know whether the present's
gonna happen.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
An advisor of Vladimir Putin has confirmed that President Trump's
Envoice Deve Whitcoff will be visiting the Kremlin. The news
comes after Ukraine reportedly said it had reached a common
understanding with the Trump administration on the outline of a
possible peace deal. On Tuesday, Trump said Witkoff would be
headed to Russia next week on Tuesday, after his twenty

(13:09):
eight point piece plan had been fine tuned with additional
input from both sides. Could we finally be nearing peace
with Russia and Ukraine? The FBI has plans to interview
Senator Mark Kelly and five other Democrats who encourage military
members to refuse following illegal orders.

Speaker 4 (13:26):
That's according to multiple reports.

Speaker 8 (13:28):
The FBI reportedly has been in contact with the Capitol
Police to get the interview scheduled. Comes after the Department
of War opened a thorough review into the allegations of
misconduct by Kelly. The Democratic lawmakers appeared in a viral
video and urged service members to disregard the orders that
they thought were unlawful. President Trump has called for the
lawmakers involved in the video to be punished. By Mark Neefield.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
Congressman Eric Swallwell is suing Federal Housing Finance Agency Director
Bill pult accusing him of making up the whole mortgage
fraud claim.

Speaker 7 (14:00):
The California Democrat says he never claimed a DC home
was his primary residence and points to a Swan Affidavid
showing the home was bought for his wife while he
remains a California resident.

Speaker 4 (14:10):
The lawsuit also says Paulty targeted.

Speaker 7 (14:13):
Him because he's a critic of President Trump, and notes
Paulty has filed similar referrals against other Trump opponents, but
not against Trump allies. A related case involving New York
Attorney General Letitia James was tossed Monday over an improperly
appointed prosecutor.

Speaker 4 (14:28):
I'm Jim Roop.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
Centers for Medicare and Medicaid announced lower prices on fifteen
prescription drugs covered by Medicare.

Speaker 4 (14:37):
Tammy Trichello has the details.

Speaker 9 (14:39):
They include ozembic and wegovi. The cuts were made through
the Biden era Inflation Reduction Act and will start in
twenty twenty seven. Another round of price cuts on ten drugs,
including some for heart disease and diabetes, is expected to
take effect next year. I'm Tammy tricheo well.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
Last season of Stranger Things begins today. Season five brings
back cast members when Onna Rioter, David Harbor, Millie, Bobby Brown,
Finn Wolford all to Hawkins, Indiana. The first four episodes
are available today on Netflix. The next three episodes will

(15:16):
be released on Christmas, and then two final episodes on
New Year's Eve. And I think I finally figured out
why they called it Stranger things. Every season as the
kids get older, they look stranger.

Speaker 4 (15:27):
It's stranger.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
Well, the bird is sawing in your fridge, your counters
are covered with supplies, and you're getting to it.

Speaker 4 (15:36):
What could possibly go wrong? Askspree Tennis.

Speaker 10 (15:40):
Salmonella in the stuffing, undercook turkey, overcook turkey, thanks forgotten
in the oven, catching on fire, cut hands, cooking the
bird without removing the giblets or the outer wrapping. Food
experts say it happens. Also visits to the er on
Thanksgiving go up due to burns and sports injuries from
that pre dinner game. They say, reach dire, but down

(16:01):
the alcohol, but still have fun. I'm free Tennis.

Speaker 4 (16:04):
Other than that, what could go wrong? Oh? I love her?

Speaker 9 (16:10):
Hey, this is John Watson.

Speaker 5 (16:11):
My Morning show is your Morning Show with Michael Del Jorno.

del Jorono, along with Jeffrey Who's got the Sound, Red,

(16:41):
Who's Wearing Blue? And the US envoy is headed to
Moscow next week. We could be close to Ukrainian Russian peace. Finally,
this year's Mirror.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
Balld Trophy on Dune Sing with the Stars goes to
the team of Robert Irwin. Robert Irwin is the son
of Kriikey. Right, I'm going to wrestle this alleg is that.

Speaker 4 (17:01):
The gun.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
I don't know, I'm not a I'm not a dance well,
I didn't watch a single up. I mean who, I seriously,
who watches dance? Sister, my sister, my father, and I'm
brained it. My daughter in law Taylor cannot miss it.
She loves it to this day. I think it's his son,
Robert Irwin, and Whitney Carson ended up getting the Mirror

(17:24):
Ball Trophy. And the Thanksgiving travel rush is on. If
you're listening to us in the car, drive safely, it's funny.
Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday, and it's one
that I almost reject as a holiday and principle, because
we need a thankful heart all year right, Paul wrote

(17:45):
in First Thessalonians five eighteen, gift thanks in all circumstances,
for this is the will of God in Christ. For
you think about it? Have you ever thought about? Being thankful?
Is God's will. It's more than a polite response. It's
more than an annual feast. It's a daily posture, a discipline.

(18:05):
It's obedience. It's God's will. I told the story just
a couple days ago. My brother called me, and when
he doesn't do it often, but when he does, he's
always got a doozy and he got me started on this.
Before your feet hit the ground. Trust me, you don't
have to spend a lot of time. I mean, get
it done in twenty five thirty seconds. Get your top

(18:25):
ten out, get your top twenty. Not the least of
which is I get to live today, get to interact
with other eternal beings. The floor you're putting your feet on,
be thankful for it, the coffee you're about to pour,
the food you're about to eat, the people you're about
to surround yourself with. It's a posture of the heart

(18:51):
that recognizes and sees God's hand in every part of life.
It really is a past, present future thing. It's remembering
His blessings all through our lives, all around us today
and the faith to see it tomorrow. SAWM one hundred
enter his gates with thanksgiving in your hearts. That blows

(19:14):
me away, because gratitude is not only his will, it's
the past code to get into his very presence. There
are a ton of biblical references to thanksgiving. Thankfulness aligns
our hearts with God and recognize him, recognizes him as
our source, which also keeps us from worshiping false sources,

(19:35):
especially self. Trust me. We do that we make our
employer in some way a provider when they're not. Oh,
work is under the Lord. But who gave you the job,
who gave you the favor to get the job, who
would get you the next job? If anything were to happen.
He's always the source. Whether you see it or not,
it's fuel for our faith that actually strengthens it. It

(19:58):
allows us to worship with purity, live in peace, transform
into His very nature. Hey, this Thanksgiving thing is a
big deal, not an annual thing, A moment by moment,
day by day big deal. And living without Thanksgiving, well
that's just not living at all. Let's stick with that theme.
A past present future. We all know God is past present, future,

(20:22):
and he gets to do it simultaneously. We've got to
do it with some reflection. But we are past present
in future too. Scripture repeatedly tells God's people to remember
his works. By the way, this is thanksgiving past. Bless
the Lord, oh my soul, and forget not all his
benefits Psalm one oh three, remember the wonders he has
done Psalm one O five. Why because forgetfulness will lead

(20:46):
to fear. Remembering leads to faith. When we recount God's
past faithfulness, our present anxieties begin to shrink. Seriously, if
you lack faith, maybe it's because you lack thankfulness, Paul
says in Philippian's four to six. In everything, by prayer

(21:09):
and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known
to God, and the peace of God will guard your
hearts and minds. This is Thanksgiving present. Did you notice
that order prayer, thanksgiving, then peace. A thankful heart is
the doorway through which peace enters troubled hearts. Not because

(21:35):
everything is solved. Red sent me something incredible today. It
was a Abraham Lincoln Thanksgiving Day address right in the
middle of the Civil War, and we talk about a
circumstance that might make people feel a little less than thankful,
and the eloquence would blow you away. But being thankful
doesn't mean everything is solved. It just means that God

(21:56):
is with us and He's faithful to saulve give thanks
in all circumstances, even a civil war, not because every
circumstance is good, but because God is good in every circumstance.
And that gratitude itself will literally shift your focus from
the size of your problem to the sufficiency of God.

(22:20):
It lifts our eyes away from what we lack and
fixes our focus on the God who provided sustains and redeems.
It breaks the power of worry. Now an unthankful person
is filled with fear, anxiety, bitterness, contention. Remember we were

(22:42):
having fun with the AI singer who's the fake name
for the fake singer sounded like a drug. We could
do that with this. A spiritual doctor might prescribe you
thanksalty because thankfulness will defeat anxiety, fear, bitterness, and entitlement.
By the way, it should be taken daily and as needed.

(23:04):
Side effects include peace, joy, trust, and an extreme cases
abundant life. Once a year holiday, this should be taught
every Sunday. Gratitude isn't just a response, it's a declaration
of trust. It shapes us into the people who we are.
Thankful heart doesn't ignore reality, it sees a deeper one

(23:28):
now for thanksgiving future, maybe even as soon as starting tomorrow.
My prayer is that we will begin to see His
presence in every season, that we will see as handiwork
and blessing that is all around us. That we will
open our eyes to see the ones that we overlook.
I pray will be thankful in all circumstances, like Lincoln,

(23:52):
mindful of his faithfulness throughout our life. One of my
favorite scriptures TWI Timothy two thirteen. He's faithful even when
we're faithless. He can't deny himself as nature. Every time
I've blown it in life. I've been rewarded not because
I'm some honored chosen person, but because he can't deny

(24:16):
himself and his nature. My prayers that will all make
thanksgiving a daily discipline, and by doing so live daily
with hearts that are filled with His peace, absent of
our worries, and equipped to impact others that we meet
wherever we go. In short, if you want to have

(24:40):
a guaranteed happy Thanksgiving this year, be thankful, and if
you are, I can now confidently say you will have
a happy Thanksgiving.

Speaker 4 (24:54):
I have a lil.

Speaker 10 (24:58):
That you happy.

Speaker 8 (25:02):
At a cannoly.

Speaker 2 (25:09):
Have me Thanksgiving from all of us here at your
morning show. Forty four minutes after the OTF, you're just
waking up. Well, we got what looks like could be
some very promising news. An advisor for Vladimir Putin has
even confirmed the President Trump's envoy, Steve Whitcoff, will be
headed to Moscow and the Kremlin next week on Tuesday.
The news comes after Ukraine reportedly said it had reached

(25:30):
a common understanding with the Trump administration on the outline
of that twenty eight point plan. On Tuesday, Trump said
Witcoff would be headed to Russia to fine tune with
additional input from both sides. There is no reports the
President Trump plans to meet with either. This will all
be coordinated through the Special Envoy and through the Secretary

(25:52):
of State Marco Rubio.

Speaker 4 (25:54):
Well.

Speaker 2 (25:54):
The White House is denying any reports the President Trump
is considering removing FBI Director Cash Patel anytime sooner in
the coming months.

Speaker 4 (26:02):
More from Mark Mayfield.

Speaker 8 (26:03):
On Tuesday, ms now cited three people with the knowledge
of the situation who say Pattel's top ags have become
frustrated with the headlines generated by Patel, and that top
FBI official Andrew Bailey is being considered to replace him.

Speaker 4 (26:18):
Cash Mattel suit a great job.

Speaker 8 (26:20):
I think President Trump spoke in support of Patel Tuesday
night on Air Force.

Speaker 4 (26:24):
One.

Speaker 8 (26:25):
Later, White House bast Secretary of Caroline Levitt posted on
x saying this story is completely made up. The post
included a picture of Patel and Trump smiling in the
Oval Office.

Speaker 4 (26:34):
I'm Mark Mayfield.

Speaker 2 (26:35):
Defense Secretary Pete Hegsath is giving the Navy a December
tenth deadline to complete a review of the Department of
Defense complaint against six Democrats.

Speaker 4 (26:45):
Jim Rupe has more.

Speaker 7 (26:46):
The complaint against Navy veteran and Senator Mark Kelly, as
well as five other Democrats of military or intelligence backgrounds,
is over a viral video in which they encouraged military
members to refuse to follow illegal orders. Hays prefer the
allegations against Kelly to Navy Secretary John Feelin. President Trump
has called for the lawmakers involved in the video to

(27:07):
be punished.

Speaker 4 (27:08):
I'm Jim Roop.

Speaker 2 (27:09):
Former FDNY Commissioner Robert Tucker is speaking out for the
first time following his decision to quit after Zoran Mamdani
was elected as New York City's mayor. Sarahle Kessler reports
from New York.

Speaker 11 (27:21):
Robert Tucker, a wealthy Jewish philanthropist, said in an interview
with CBS Morning, set to air this week his religion
was the factor, saying he was turned off by the
Democratic Socialist campaign. Mom Donnie, who will be the city's
first Muslim mayor, has many Jewish New Yorkers worried about
his anti Israel, pro Palestinian rhetoric. Police Commissioner Jessica Tish,

(27:44):
also a Jewish philanthropist, has decided to stay on, prompting
JA Federation to call her decision reassuring amid escalating antisemitism.
I'm Sarah Lee Kessler.

Speaker 4 (28:00):
Not so much.

Speaker 2 (28:01):
Elton John says he hopes science will one day help.

Speaker 4 (28:04):
Him get his vision back.

Speaker 2 (28:05):
In an interview with Variety, the Rock and Roll Hall
of Famer said he lost his vision in his right eye.
His left eye is not so good either, and after
getting an eye infection, all of this just developed.

Speaker 4 (28:17):
He said.

Speaker 2 (28:18):
There is hope and he just has to be patient.
John said that he's still able to perform and he
gets messages of support from fellow music icons like Paul McCartney,
Pete Towns and Mick Jagger and others. It was announced
Tuesday John will headline Brazil's Rock in Rio music festival
next September. There are rules to what foods you can
bring on an airplane this Thanksgiving, so as we enter

(28:40):
the busiest day of travel of the year, Bree Tennis
has those rules.

Speaker 10 (28:44):
The tssay says most Thanksgiving dinner items can pass through checkpoints.
They say pack meat cooked or raw in your carry on,
as well as pies, brownie stuffing, and casseroles. Is it
The only issue really comes with liquid or semi solid
items like gravy or sauce to be completely frozen at
the checkpoint, or to make you throw them out. And
know that nibbling on a cook turkey on the plane

(29:06):
is kind of frowned upon. I'm pre tennis.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
You're sitting next to somebody and you look over and
they're nibbling on a turkey.

Speaker 4 (29:16):
With a little plane.

Speaker 2 (29:19):
And in shorts. No less games to watch. There's four
biggies in college Number three Texas A and M, undefeated
eleven and zero, is headed to Austin to take on
the Long Horns eight and three. I don't have to
tell you that for Texas A and M, a top
seed and a place in the SEC Championship Game is
at stake Georgia ten and one and their rival Georgia Tech,

(29:41):
who is nine and two. And you can throw the
records out when these two played a lot on the
line if Georgia wants to make it to the SEC
title game. The Ohio State Buck guys, I think we
can all agree are the best in college football. But
Indiana would like to have a say, Texas A and
M would like to have a say, Hey, Michigan would
like to have a say, Ohio State, Michigan. I'll never forget.

(30:01):
I went on a job interview in Columbus WTVN. Didn't
take the job, but all I loved that general manager
and he brought me to the Ohio State Michigan game.
That was the time I saw Eddie George in the
locker room.

Speaker 4 (30:13):
Wow. Ohio State Michigan. Wow.

Speaker 2 (30:18):
A fifth straight loss to its arch rival could well,
it wouldn't keep Ohio State out of the college football playoffs,
but what would it open? A big door for Michigan
and then Miami and Pittsburgh another big matchup in NFL football.
We've got the Lions and the Packers at noon. Talk
about two good football teams.

Speaker 4 (30:38):
Chiefs.

Speaker 2 (30:39):
Can the Cowboys beat the Chiefs? We'll find out at
three thirty. Bengals and Ravens at night. And then I
think the best game of all is Friday the Bears
and the Eagles. That's a Friday two o'clock start. Luca
with forty three. Last night, Lakers No Problem won thirty
five point eighteen over the Clippers in NHL Action tonight.
Sabers and Penguins, two of our cities, Red Wings and
Prets two of our cities.

Speaker 4 (30:59):
Lightnings and Flame than one.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
Of our cities not on Calgary yet are wet and
birthdays today. DJ Gleed is fifty. This was my father
in law's favorite. Dale Jarrett sixty nine years old today
and former Chicago Cups second basement. When I was growing up,
I always pretended to be George Orte in the backyard
seventy five years old today. Hey, if it's your birthday,

(31:21):
Happy birthday. We're so glad you were born. Have yourself
a happy birthday and a happy Thanksgiving from all of

their phones down.

Speaker 4 (31:51):
Let's have some face to face conversation.

Speaker 12 (31:54):
And much like the episode of Landman when Tommy's asked
to give the great I'm just going to ask for
patients from the Lord.

Speaker 7 (32:06):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (32:07):
Land Man episode two, season two. Oh don't get me
started now. I'm not gonna say anything. I don't want
to ruin it. For anybody.

Speaker 4 (32:13):
Just Oh, Dear God, thank you for Billy.

Speaker 6 (32:17):
Bob Thornton, Roger in Sacramento, Corny and Michael jafferyn read
a First Things First, A blated birthday shout out to
Big John enough of him, age appropriate fun. Just wanted
to say Happy Thanksgiving to you all and to the
listeners and to especially all your loved ones. Grateful for
the show and for the perspective and vision that's given

(32:39):
me to be more thankful the things that I am
thankful for. You guys, have a safe and productive four
day weekend.

Speaker 4 (32:45):
Oh, Happy Thanksgiving to you too.

Speaker 2 (32:47):
I got a wonderful note from a cup of coffee.

Speaker 4 (32:50):
Copy coffee, Joey. What did I do with it?

Speaker 2 (32:53):
Where were you at a cup of Corfye, Joey, Joey Roadie, Mikey,
it's Joey. I just wanted to take this time to
thank God for the people who he has brought into
my life this year. To all the technicians, nurses, doctors
who have taken care of my wife since she was
diagnosed with breast cancer and skin cancer. Yesterday was her
last day of radiation treatment and all looks good for remission.

(33:16):
Thank God for that Joey and we will keep praying
for her to my friends and family that have supported
her in their time of need. And of course I
can't forget to give thanks to God for bringing you
in the morning show crew, into my life every weekday
morning and inviting me to the kitchen table. Man, does
this mean a lot? You definitely have reinvented talk radio

(33:37):
and I thank.

Speaker 4 (33:37):
You for it.

Speaker 2 (33:38):
You are such a blessing a Red and I wish
you and your wife and yours, all of yours and
your entire family a happy Thanksgiving. We're gonna pay tribute
to WKRP in our Sounds of the day, as God
is my witness. I thought turkeys could fly, but Red
had brought up something that really kind of slipped my mind.

(34:00):
Mary Tyler Moore Show was the first MTM production, Mary
Tyler Moore production with her and her husband. So you
have the Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Bob Newhart Show,
Hill Street Blues, Rhoda Lou Grant, Remington, Steel, Saint Elsewhere,

like welcome that Connor meets Basketball. Yeah, they did all
of those, including WKRP, so we'll pay tribute to WKRP
and Mary Tyler Moore with sounds of the day next
hour for you.
