Episode Description:

You saw the headlines. You might’ve followed the trial. But what really happened inside that Trump Tower suite?

In this episode, CSI Sheryl McCollum sits down with Sharay “Punisher” Hayes — a dancer turned key witness in the case against Sean “Diddy” Combs — to talk about the night he walked into a supposed birthday party... and stepped into something much darker. Baby oil. Covered furniture. Bathrobes. And a husband watching from the shadows.

This isn’t just about one night in a luxury suite. It’s about power, manipulation, and the moment you realize you might’ve broken the law — without even knowing it.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Y'all you watch the trial.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
You have seen the video where he beat her up.
Sean Combs Day seven. There was a.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
High level witness in that high profile case, SCHARAE. Hayes,
aka the Punisher. We're gonna talk about it. He's gonna
just pull back the curtain, as they say, and we're
going inside a freak gault.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Charay Hayes, Welcome to Zone seven.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
I'm happy to be here, man. Thank you for such
an AUSMENTO. I appreciate that.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Oh absolutely, listen, and I want everybody to know you
are a dancer, but you're also an author and we're
gonna get to that in.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
A little bit.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
I want folks to know how you came up about
going to Trump Tower on a special one on one event,
because you.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
You were a dancer for a long time.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
You did parties, whether it was bac ceret parties or
private parties, and suddenly you get called to do a
one on one, but you didn't have any idea who
it was.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Correct.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Yeah, so I wasn't actually even called to do a
one on one. It was like a bait and switch
type of thing. When I was contacted, she actually said
it was her birthday and it was going to be
a small gathering of friends, so I'm expecting it to
be a group of people when I show up.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Okay, you thought it was going to be all women.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
Yeah, definitely, so that.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
I'd be standard for you, right, Yeah, that's standard.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
So yeah, so she said it was. She did mention
that it was her birthday, and she said her husband
said she can have a dancer and she was there
with some friends. And that's what I was anticipating when I.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
And where did you advertise?

Speaker 3 (02:03):
So in the New York City area? I just used Google.
So if you put in the words, you know, mail
stripper Maile entertained a mail strip show. I had a website,
Getpunished dot com that would come up pretty high on
the rate.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
So, oh well I'm sure it did.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
Yeah, okay, so so get Punies would get me some leads,
and I just the phone just wrung and I just
was lucky enough to pick up the call.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Do you think that you got that call based on
your nickname? Because I would imagine if you're looking and
you've got Fred of the Dancer and the Punisher, and
you know, a clown you that name would stick out
in that world. I would imagine, but it had nothing

(02:52):
to do with what was being performed. That's a nickname
you got playing basketball.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
Yeah, it was definitely a nickname that started out from
on the basketball courts in New York City. But I did,
you know, take on that character as a performer and entertainer.
So I'm gonna wear the level with the whip and
the mask and you know, have this dominating, aggressive persona,
so it all aligned. You know. The name wasn't wasn't

(03:21):
created based on that character, but I tried to live
up to.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
So you get to the hotel room door.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Now, I would imagine if you and I were buddies
and you were telling me, Hey, I've got a gig
tonight and I'm headed up to Trump Tower. They got money.
I mean, you're not at you know, a Motel six.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
Listen your spot on Because at that point, I hadn't
been doing private parties that much. I would when I
would get calls from them, I would refer them out
to like some of my friends and some of the
guys that worked for me. But the fact that she
said Trump Tower is what motivated me to do the
party myself. You would have said Motel six or even

(04:03):
any other hotel that I wasn't familiar with the high
level of it, I might have gave the party away.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Okay, and let me be clear, I love me a
motel six. I love you know, a mom and pop
motel on the side of nowhere. I'm just saying to me,
if I get a call and it's it Trump toward.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
That's a different address.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
Oh yeah, definitely it definitely. You know, when you're somebody
who you a big part of these parties are making tips.
Right when you hear, you know, these expensive hotels, you definitely,
you know, take note of that because it's a likelihood
you can get a big tip or make a lot
of money at the party. So you know, you you

(04:46):
you you think like I think, you know, you're spot on.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
With it, all right. So the door opens, and what happened?

Speaker 3 (04:54):
So the door opens and literally I see, especially at
the time, probably the most attractive woman I've ever seen
in person. And to top it off, she's in a
bath rob barely closed and you can pretty much tell
she's nude under I would have.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
To agree with you that she is one of the
most strikingly beautiful women I've ever seen, and I hadn't
seen her in person, but I'm just saying in public,
she's flawless.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
Yeah, And so that's what really blew me away, because,
you know, especially now we live in a time with
the filters and the things you can use on social
media and the way they clean up photos, you can
make almost anybody look, you know, flawless or at least
enhance their beauty pretty easily. But I will say, in

(05:50):
terms of seeing someone in person, she looked like she
had a filter on in real life, Like it was flawless,
Like that was the perfect word.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Now was that normal?

Speaker 1 (06:02):
Like did you would you say, like in your thirty
year career, are most of the women strikingly beautiful, average,
below average or just a combination?

Speaker 3 (06:15):
So it's a combination. So the majority of the clientele
for male review shows are bachelorette and birthday celebrations, So
the crowd is going to be diverse, and not just
in terms of beauty. But you got the bride, her friends,
you got the mom, you got the aunts, you know,

(06:35):
you got the co workers, you got so many, so
many people come along to these celebrations, so you're always
going to get a range of age beauty, you know,
even in terms of just economic lifestyle, you know, middle class,
upper class, Like everybody comes to these events, so it's
always a wide range. So I'm used to seeing a

(06:58):
crowd that's very diverse.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Okay, but this you noticed there's nobody behind her.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
Oh yeah. So when she opens the door, you know,
we're at a suite, so she, you know, obviously invites
me in. And again I'm expecting a room full of people.
And shortly we get in. We walk into the living
room area and it's pretty clear to me that there's
no party at the time. It's just me and her,
and you know, it's the ambiance set the light to them.

(07:29):
It's candle lit. All of the furniture is covered in sheets,
which was obviously odd initially walking in. And you know,
I'm just trying to feel the situation out because I
never walked into a.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Scenarioly, you know, I would think somewhere between maybe thirteen
and seventeen, most boys would almost think, Man, if I
am a males court, I'm gonna have beautiful women hey
me to have sex with them, like have to date.
I don't have to go find somebody. They're gonna call me.

(08:03):
But this is actually happening to you that you are
standing there, there is this beautiful woman that is fixing
to pay you to do whatever. What are you thinking
is fixing to go down?

Speaker 3 (08:18):
Yeah, so I can honestly say as a male stripper,
that is kind of like a fantasy scenario that we have. Also,
you know, you walk into these parties all the time
and there's obviously you know, groups of women, and we
even fantasize about that that fan, that special client, right,

(08:39):
that client that's gonna call you up and she's gonna
be smoking hot, just infatuated by you and just you know,
pay you for just being sexy. You know. It's kind
of like the biggest ego strip for a man that
you can get. Sure. So that is something we all

(08:59):
kind of like speak about and hope for and and
and it's and it happens from time to time, it does.
But that's the epitome of what you want the business
to be, like, you want to you know, listen, it's validating,
and it feels great to just get a compliment walking
down the street, you know, and you know, as men,

(09:23):
that's that's rare, right, It's it's kind of a societal
norm for women to get complimented and not all the
times in the best way. You got cat calls and
stuff like that. But listen, I walk down the street
all day. Women could cat call at me all they want.
I would never get tied to that. So, you know,
so it to be in this type of situation where

(09:45):
a woman it's attractive, it was. It's extremely validating, like
it's validating as a man, and it's an ego stroke.
I definitely walked around with a with a chip on
my shoulder feeling like I am the man. You know.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Let me tell you something.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
If I opened up a door and there was Matthew
McConaughey and you know, Denzel Washington and they wanted to
pay me.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
What I mean, I would tell everybody I knew.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
Yeah. Yeah, it's definitely a validating.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
Okay, so you go in and the first thing you noticed,
there's sheets all over the furniture. What's that about? I mean,
I'm sure we know, but what's that about? What's going
through your mind? Now?

Speaker 3 (10:32):
Well, my first my first story process was I had
a momentary. I got scared. Ironically, I had just watched
maybe a few days before, this movie called American Psycho. Yes,
and that guy would not sheets, but that guy would
cover all his furniture and plastic. Wait before he was

(10:53):
gonna urn somebody a hot for a moment, I was.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
Like, Oh, you're thinking somebody's husban been fine, somebody's husband
finally caught up with you. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
I don't put somebody off. They got you know, so,
but you know we're gaining my composures. She she didn't
immediately explain to me because I inquired, Hey, look do
you want me to change? I can dance, and she said, look,
I don't want you to dance. She explained that, you know,
me and my husband like to said a sexy scene.

(11:25):
We're gonna use baby all and you know, mutually massaged
and make it look hot. And my husband's gonna come
out at some point. And why so I was able
to put together the sheets was to protect the furniture
from the baby all.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
Gotcha. And she gave you a choice of what to wear.

Speaker 3 (11:44):
Yeah, she said, you know, don't change into any of
my dance attire or whatever. I can either come out
and just my underwear or a towel, and I chose
the lotter a towel.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
Now, normally, are you prepared to have sex with a
client or or just dance.

Speaker 3 (12:02):
Just dance. Sex is something, you know, Like I explained earlier,
I'm usually showing up and it's the bride, the bride's mom,
the mother in law, So forget sex happening. Like the
dance is not even going to be intimate. It's gonna
be more of a fun, entertaining vibe. So I'm not

(12:22):
expecting that at all.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
Yeah, and that's why I was asking, because I don't
even like our dog to be in the room watching.
I'm like, put traveler in the other room, you know,
so I can't imagine all of a sudden her husband
is coming out because you don't normally, well, I don't
think you ever dance for men, and you certainly don't

(12:46):
have a man watching you while you're with a woman.

Speaker 3 (12:49):
Correct, Yeah, that is correct. Man. So it was an
extremely awkward scenario that you know, listen, it was presented
to me the right way because I never got a
chance to actually answer the minute she explained to me, Hey, look,
I want to do this scene and my husband's going

(13:10):
to come out to watch at some point. This is
for you. And she handed me a lot of money,
and I will honestly say, once that money hit my hand.
I was pretty much in agreement, you know what I'm saying,
because I was not trying to hand the money back,
you know, so I was like, I gotta try to
make this work. You know, no refunds, you gave it

(13:33):
to me already. So however this goes, it goes.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
You know, however it goes, it goes.

Speaker 1 (13:37):
When you're talking about a lot of money, So you
go there to dance, suddenly you're no pun but thrust
into prostitution. That was not what you were there for.
But again, it's hard to walk away from a handful of.

Speaker 3 (13:52):
Cash and listen, I'll be honest with you, and from
a men's point of view, and this, all this stuff
happened twelve thirteen years ago, and it did not present
itself completely clear to me that I was participating in
prostitution until the investigators showed up at my house. And

(14:14):
it's not that I didn't understand what prostitution was, but
I think from a standpoint of just showing up doing
all of these parties where it's two hundred bucks to dance,
two hundred bucks to dance, two hundred bucks to dance,
and now this time it was just okay more money
to create the scene, and I did not naively or

(14:37):
just not thinking clearly. I was not really all the
way aware of wow, I'm committing a crime right now,
you know. I really didn't evaluate it to that point
till after the fact, and lucky for me it was
after statute of limitations, because that could have been in trouble.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
I think that's what makes him such a good con artist.
I think he gets people to break the law before
they realize they've done it, and then he's got them
what are you gonna do? You can't go tell a
bunch of people because you would get in trouble. I
think that's part of his genius. That's my personal opinion,
and that I think that's the women, the men, the

(15:14):
security guards, the housekeeping. Everybody around him is benefiting, so
they're not gonna call anybody in tell and then they realize,
oh wait, I did go buy drugs for him, or
I did go get this girl in Kansas and bring
her to LA or whatever the situation was.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
So that's the way I see it.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
But for you, I mean, again, once that money hit
your hand, now we've had a transaction.

Speaker 3 (15:41):
Yeah, yeah, And so ironically, you know, jumping ahead a
little bit and you can, you know, we can dial
it back. But another thing I noticed after the fact
was there was never ever any direct communication about sex.
The very first time, it was we're gonna set this scene.

(16:04):
And after the scene was set and we just did
you know the baby or massage or whatever, she essentially said, hey,
everything that was great, everything was great. We can stop now.
She walked out of the room and followed mister Combs,
and then she came back in and then offered me.
She paid me and then offered me, would you like

(16:28):
to finish? And like to finish? Is now us actually
having penetrated sex? But it was after she paid me,
and she made it my choice.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
Of course, And even the sexual stuff was directed by
him to her, not to you.

Speaker 2 (16:48):
He never told you to do anything.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
It's like loophole, loophole, loophole because for prostitution you have
to offer to do ABC or D or all the
above for a certain price. You got to have that,
you know, very clearly stated. So it looks like this
is a workaround.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
You know what. I've done a gazillion podcast at these
points and spoke to so many people about it, and
I will have to say That was very brilliant of
you to point it out in that manner. This the
first time somebody's ever presented it as a real clear,
methodical way of you know, working loopholes.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
I understand hustlers, I understand corn artists, and to me,
that's all he is, straight up, he is straight level
with it. I don't think he hides it when I
hear about how he moved in these different circles and
with all these different people, and how he got everybody
caught up. Everybody that's ever had their picture with him
now don't want it out there. I mean, he's so smart,

(17:52):
he's connected to everybody. But again, this is a con
just on a different level, that's what it is.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
So let me ask you this.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
Do you have in your things that you put out
as far as your advertisements or when you meet with people.

Speaker 2 (18:09):
Are there any code words? Like if somebody.

Speaker 1 (18:12):
Does ask for a massage, is that what she's asking
for or is she asking for something else?

Speaker 3 (18:18):
I've always been a male dancer, right, and that's all
that I've advertised myself as. But you do get propositions,
and you know what a proposition from a woman looks
like is do you do one on ones or do
you do massages? Women typically don't overt to say hey,

(18:40):
how much for sex? You know, that's just not in
the language. So you learn over a period of time
that when you getting inquired for one on ones or
massages or just things that just are are intimate kind
of companion type of things, out of the scope. You know,
there's probably an expectation of sex, but it's not directly

(19:01):
communicated or asked for. So yeah, I would say those
are the cold words. And then when you do as
of late, you get you know, similar to what happened
in the trout, there's a big movement on really men
that went to hire guys to sleep with their wives

(19:22):
and girlfriends. It's a huge you know kink, you know,
acceptance of this that's making it very normal. And those
are very.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
Direct, you know, yeah, that needs to be pretty direct,
I would imagine.

Speaker 3 (19:37):
Yeah, yeah, that's very very direct. Where the guys just hey,
I want to hire you from my wife, and then
they're usually selling their wife. You got to see her,
she's hot, and then they want to send pictures of
her and it's crazy.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
So when mister Combs entered the room, you did not
know who it was because his face was covered describe
what he looked like.

Speaker 3 (20:00):
He was always quite a distance from me, and one
of one of my initial instructions was I was not
supposed to look at acknowledge or have any communications with her,
you know, what was presented to me her husband. So
anytime that I did see him, I had to do

(20:21):
it like with my peripheral so I could clearly see
that he was nude, but he had his face covered
with what the Muslims women were like, I believe it's
his job, and you could only see the eyes. So
that visual right there enough was like what is going on?
You know, because you know, first and foremost, I don't

(20:43):
think he's gonna walk in nude. And then even with
him being nude and having his face covered, it's just
it's just a very odd optic that is a combination
of attire or lack of attire that I probably will
never see again in my life, adult nude male and
a female Muslims head covering, you know. So it was

(21:06):
just very very odd scenario to try. And then now
I can't look straight at them, so now I got
to take this in from a refewal vision. So it
was very very awkward.

Speaker 2 (21:19):
And you also have to be aware of your safety.

Speaker 1 (21:22):
I mean, you've got to make sure this guy's not
going to all of a sudden get angry and flip out.
You got to make sure that you're performing because they've
already paid you. I mean, you've got to, I guess,
maintain both sides of what you're trying to do, protect yourself,
and complete the job.

Speaker 3 (21:40):
Definitely, it's definitely a difficult space to try to get
your mind into what you would expect your headspace to
be in an intimate sexual moment. Like, it's just too
much other stuff to worry about.

Speaker 1 (21:56):
In my business, I believe in go into the source.
Tonight is no different. So in my phone I have
the number of an ex Imperial Wizard of the Klan,
and a mafia hit man and now amel Escort.

Speaker 2 (22:11):
So my husband sometimes says, what in.

Speaker 1 (22:13):
The world is that poor rookie detective going to do
if something ever happens to you. You've got all these
people in your phone, and I'm like, honey, make him
work for it, okay, let him try to figure out
who in the world was you know, she's fooling with
all these different people. So Number one I appreciate having

(22:34):
your private number in my phone, mister Hayes, and number
two again, I appreciate so much you coming here and
just being.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
So just straight up, here's the deal. This is what happened,
this is when it happened, this is how it happened.

Speaker 1 (22:49):
And I told the truth the best of my ability.
