The four day work week is working back.

In twenty fifteen, Iceland started experimenting with a four day
work week, letting employees, how you said it, Tommy, letting
employees work for just four days with no loss of pay.
The early results were positive, so they expanded the four
day work week in twenty nineteen. It seems like the
move has been a smashing success. Productivity has remained stable

and even increased in some industries. Government officials suggest this
has happened because of reduction and stress, along with a
better work life balance, has improved mental health and effectiveness
of workers.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
So what do you guys think? Tommy been screaming this
for a long time, Uncle Steve, four day work week?
Could we do it?

radio is five every day, six days. What I would
do if we go go to foty and just we
go to four, y'all don't get the listening to the
radio on that day we radio sid.

Oh we all move to Iceland.
