Speaker 1 (00:00):
It is time to ask the colo.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
All right.

Speaker 1 (00:03):
This is from Darius and South Haven. Darius rights.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
I'm a country boy and I've had a roofing company
for about ten years. I make good money, and I
think that is why women want to date me. My
mom said, I'm dating out of my league. How do
I figure out if they like me or if they
like my money?

Speaker 2 (00:24):
No, they like your money and you happen to come
with it.

Speaker 4 (00:29):
Bruh. Look, that's why you went to make the money.
Let's start playing this game. A man goes to make
money to be more attractive to the female species. That's
why you go to make more money. You don't need
no more money. You just need apartment, flashcreen, TV, refrigerator
on bed, all the rest of this stuff. It's for

(00:51):
somebody daughter, don't so. Look man, listen to me, young man,
stop pretending like that was not your intent in the
first place to go out here and make all this money.
So now it is accomplishing the mission. Now, don't stare
the gift horse in the mouth and get mad at it.

(01:12):
That's what you do. Now, how do you determine if
it's more you than the money. You have to make
a tight package so now this is what you do
in order to get the money through me. I have
a series of requirements. If the requirements can be met

(01:34):
over a course of time, then we can put this
thing together.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Number one, will you help me make more of it?
Or do you just want to take? Do you bring
assets along with you that are very important to a man?
And the few assets that are most important to a
man is loyalty, respect?

Speaker 4 (01:58):
Those are the two top Number one love. The only
way we know you love us is if you respect us,
protect us, honor us, and are loyal to us. That's
what we think love is. Now ken about you talking
about hooks and kisses though, Well, where you're going to

(02:21):
and once you get your requirements met, then that's the
exchange and another thing you might have to come to
terms with. You may not be that cute. You have
to understand. Yeah, yes, Mama know it.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Mama know it.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Yeah, and that is you got.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
You gotta come to terms with this brother and that
money at that roughing company.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
That helped you. So brother, this ain't all bad. Now
let's let's play the game.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Yeah, a win is a wind to just go out
with him?

Speaker 4 (03:06):
Yo, Mama said you out your leave and you ugly
though she done seen who you done bought over to
that house, just don't.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
Moving on to Rachel Rachel and Landover, Rachel writes, I'm
twenty seven and my boyfriend is twenty nine. His parents
are pressuring him to propose. His sister told me that
they gave my boyfriend his mother's first engagement ring.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
I don't want that tiny diamond. What do I do
if he proposes with that antique ring?

Speaker 2 (03:40):
Eh, that's gonna be hard, right then?

Speaker 4 (03:43):
Let me see, I think, well, you can't use the
sister as an ally, because that's what I was trying
to think. Try to get his sister to go and
talk to him about it. But I think before it
has weas you could have a conversation with him and says, look,

(04:07):
when I get married, this has always been my dream
to have this and make sure that the ring that's
in your dream is the direct opposite or that little
uh that look and taka that lit bity li chip,

(04:27):
that diamond chip that he's proposing. And I think you
could start it that way, you know, or he could
propose with it as a gesture and present you with
the real ring.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Okay, all right?

Speaker 2 (04:45):
You could have. You could have a double ring ceremony
or something like that. You know you need to talk
to him. He need But I'm gonna tell you right now,
she don't want you, Mama Ray, Let's just let's be clear.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
About that, you know, all right?

Speaker 2 (05:04):
All right?

Speaker 3 (05:04):
Moving on to Harrison and Poughkeepsie, Harrison writes, as a
grandfather of three girls, I've taught them how to carry
themselves like respectful, respectful ladies. Their mom my daughter told
me to mind my business. These girls don't.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
Have a father figure.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Should I keep applying pressure or leave it alone?

Speaker 4 (05:27):
Well, you're in a horrible situation because you're going over
the head of the mother. Why the mother don't want
her daughters to know the right way is beyond me.
And also, ladies, don't rebuff a man who loves your

(05:48):
daughter with the information he has because he has some
information about men that obviously you don't. And your mama
didn't listen, which is why she telling him this mine
is business, because you know she ain't listened.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
But men have valuable.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
Information for their daughters, and they have information that the
mother can't have, just like a mother has information for
the daughter that the man can't have.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
They know how to be women.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
Now, I don't know how you outraised them over the
mother that.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
I have no idea how you did that.

Speaker 4 (06:24):
How you've turned them into respect for women and they
mama didn't.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
That's a little backwards to me.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
So I, hey, man, just just just keep being the
right example of what a good man is. That's all
you can do. And maybe the granddaughters will get it
and say, you know, I want somebody like my granddaddy,
because where they daddy at is always the question I
have for rebellious. Where is your daddy? You name my daddy?

Speaker 3 (06:57):
Okay, where is it you ain't my daddy?

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (07:01):
But I like, like you said, Steve, that he stepped
up and you know, and is trying to help them
out of love. Definitely all right. Moving on to Alma
and Toledo. Alma says, my neighbor called and asked if
I had a red shirt she could borrow. I barely
know her, but it's but she said it was for

(07:22):
our first date. So I gave her one of my
newer shirts. She returned it without cleaning it. Do I
tell her to dry clean it or use this as
a big lesson?

Speaker 2 (07:31):
This is this is your lesson stop loading your clothes out.

Speaker 4 (07:35):
If somebody come here and say, Steve, can I use
your black shirt, I'm gonna say I ain't got.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
No black shirt.

Speaker 4 (07:40):
I'm all over the internet with black shirts. Lie right,
he'll hire you over feel

Boysober

Boysober

Have you ever wondered what life might be like if you stopped worrying about being wanted, and focused on understanding what you actually want? That was the question Hope Woodard asked herself after a string of situationships inspired her to take a break from sex and dating. She went "boysober," a personal concept that sparked a global movement among women looking to prioritize themselves over men. Now, Hope is looking to expand the ways we explore our relationship to relationships. Taking a bold, unfiltered look into modern love, romance, and self-discovery, Boysober will dive into messy stories about dating, sex, love, friendship, and breaking generational patterns—all with humor, vulnerability, and a fresh perspective.
