Here we go, Steve Melody in Phoenix.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Right, So, my daughter's dad is black and I'm white,
got it. My parents have met him, but I've never
met his mom. He flew home so his mom could
meet the baby, but I had to work. I haven't
even seen his mom on FaceTime. Do you think she
knows I'm white?

Speaker 3 (00:48):
Hell, she sees a baby. No, probably not. You'd have
heard about that body, probably not. Probably not. But it's
gonna be okay. It's gonna be okay. You know, I
don't think you have nothing to worry about her concern yourself.
You wasn't concerned about him being black when y'all had
your daughter, So don't worry about it. I mean, why,
I mean, and I'm pretty sure that you know I'm

gonna just say something. Once the grandkid is involved, it
kind of you know, yeah, it kind of cushions the blow,
so to speak. But there may not be a blow
at all. So why why interject this anxiety over something
you don't even know? Does she know? I'm white? I
don't know what difference would make you?

Speaker 4 (01:31):
You white been hidden? You ain't the first white woman
that's been hidden. They had this black guy hired white
women all the time.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
They do that a lot. Well, you're not gonna be
the first white lady to come over some black people
house and suffer from anxiety. My cousin bought a white
girl to the house. And the only problem was she
changed the baby dip on the dining room table that
said all the black women off. So that was a
bad Yeah, that was a bad jump off, said all
the black women against her right away. She didn't gain

no friends. I didn't see nothing wrong with it. That
ain't decided table. I ate on no way, So I
didn't really care, all right.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Moving on, moving on to Destiny in Hartford, thelo Destiny
says my accent I dated before I met my husband
was in a bad car accident. I was devastated when
I got the news. My husband didn't like how I responded,
and he yelled at me. How am I wrong for
being sad after hearing that my ex almost died?

Well, you know, be sad over there somewhere. She was,
okay that she's sad, but yeah, you can you be sad.

Because what it makes you think that she still has
feelings for him is that I don't.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
I don't want to hear because I'm not gonna share that,
and then I'm not finna hold you see hear what
I'm doing because you know, if my girl upset, I
hold her and console her.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
I'm not finna do that because she's crying over another man.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
I'm not finna do that. I don't know what she
wanted me to do or something like that, but I
understand where he coming from. I understand exactly where he's
coming from. And most me, what did you say, shure.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
They're not even together anymore?

Speaker 3 (03:53):

Almost? And if he had died, it would be okay.
I almost hit the powerball lottery last month. But here
I am back at work again.

Teresia, y'all won't kill herself. I'll be sitting there going,
who are you talking about? Robert?

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Robert Robert, Yes, he's a human being.

Still, I don't understand about how I feel about Robert
that you could have came in with the ultimate bat.
Robert could have man imitate you.

Augusta says, I had sex a few times with a
guy that lives in my complex. I saw him with
another girl, so I waved and blew my horn so
he would know I saw him. He called and said
that was his girlfriend, and I was wrong.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
For that. How am I wrong for what I did?

Speaker 3 (05:18):
Blowing your damn horn? Fuck? Yeah, but I need to
see you? What is d All you did was sleep
with a man in your complex. You don't know nothing
else about him?

Speaker 2 (05:32):
Man had let it all.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
Got to stop sleeping with these dudes and think that's
gonna be there. That's that's that's the blue ribbon. Now.
I slept with him here. He needed to see me.
He saw you and you here, Uh huh. He don't
do that no more. That was my girlfriend. What you doing?

Speaker 2 (05:54):

Speaker 3 (05:56):
Your damn porn? A couple of boy a cup of
sugar paper, that's all that is? He Hey, let me
tell you something. Look over the act like I ain't
never seen you before, going to me, going on over there?

Last one, last one, Steve. This is from Donald in
West Philly. Donald writes, I had dinner with a woman
that I pursued for a while. The whole dinner she
talked about carbs and calories, so I lost my appetite.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
She said she.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Would pick the restaurant the next day if we go
out again. How do I get her to hush and
enjoy dinner?

Speaker 3 (06:42):
Well, you know, y'all just met. You know, she'd look
probably nervous, you know, trying to make you think she
more fit than she really is. And here talking about
carbs and calibies. She won't to pick the restaurant, you know,
and all this. It just could be some nervous conversation. Man,
But why would you? Why would you if if you

pursued her for a long time, just could be a
valuable catch? What you mad? Because she's talking about cabs
and calories? Fault?

Speaker 2 (07:11):
I guess was he bored?

Speaker 3 (07:14):
Well, you know what, start start talk about something else.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
He just let her dominate the conversation.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
Huh yeah, change the subject to.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
You know, what would you have done?

Speaker 3 (07:27):
What would you said? Well, I'm gonna let you talk
about all the cars and calories you want. Then we
can get into how you want to burn them. You know,
we can have that conversation. I get it around to
where it need to be.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Yeah, okay, all right, I.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
Like it right here, you talking about the cabs and
calories all you want to. Eventually we're gonna have to
get around how we're gonna burn it. And now we
be all right here. You see, he don't he don't
know the game. No, he young, he won't to hear up,
get to the conversation, but he don't know how to
use the existing conversation to create the desired conversation. Okay, man,
I don't know nothing. These young dudes, they don't know nut.
