Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, so Steve, before we went to break you know,
of course we're talking about Sean Diddy Coombs. Yesterday, the
judge presiding over the case, the jury found him not
guilty on three of the heavier charges of sex trafficking
and the rico charges, but the judge denied his bail
to release him. He is still back in prison and

(00:22):
he will stay there until they're saying October third is
the sentencing day. But the judge said that he will
listen to a special hearing on Tuesday and may this
coming Tuesday, July eighth, and so we'll see what the
judge does from there. So you were saying could move it.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
You know, first of all, Carl, I want you and
a lot of women to understand he's not getting away
with anything. He's not, you know, see that sex trafficking.
A part of that sex trafficking is you have to
pull somebody in against they will and sell them out
and push them around. They have too many consenting tax

(01:02):
exchange between everybody. They just got too many. And then
the prosecution has to have the burden of proof to
make all of this happen too, and they and they
didn't come up with it. But he's been in jail
for nine ten months now. He got denayire denied bail yesterday.

(01:24):
The reason they denied the bail is because they gonna
tack this time. Oh man, he find to go to jail.
I don't think he's gonna get out of his Scott free.
He may get some time serve attached onto it, but
he finished pay for him two counts. And so I
don't think he's gotten away with anything. I don't relish
in the downfall of somebody. I'm just not that person.

(01:46):
But he's not getting away with anything. And I don't
think this judge likes this dude man because he denied
him bail requests three times yesterday. Normally, like we were
talking about the Man Act. When you're convicted and you
have your sentence, I mean, you know, and you have
your conviction rate, anybody else gets to go home first

(02:10):
time of first time offender.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
Violent the Man Act.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
But they he listened. He read read the letter from
Cassie's lawyer saying she don't think he should be let
out and taking the consideration and prosecutions letter versus the
defensive attorney's letter, and told him because when he turned
around during the announcement of the verdict. Verdict, he turned
around and said, the kids and you reported this caller,

(02:36):
I'm coming home babies. Yeah yeah, well at five found
out later on at five o'clock. Now, ain't nobody going home? Yeah,
so that that was the alarming, you know, But.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
You know what, see, you know, I saw the celebrations
in the street of New York and his supporters and
people pouring baby oil. All it was. That's what I
mean by it seems like he got away. The abuser
got away with it. It was a win for the abuser.

(03:11):
So we're gonna keep talking about this.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
I got something to say about that when we come back.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Good thirty four after the hour, we'll be right back
