Is man, Let's get right into it, man, because this
year at invest Fest. You know, over the years we've
had some serious discussions about investing, entrepreneurship, talking about entertainment,
pop culture. All of this is in a festival setting. Well,
this year it kicks off on Friday, August twenty third
in Atlanta at the Georgia World Congress Center.

And I see, right now you've landed.
Speaker 1 (01:50):
Something that's gonna be interesting to everybody. We will see
fifty cent this year at invest Fest, right.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
People, I don't think they realize how much of a
mobile he is. When you look at you kind of
like to come in the new version of Colle Curry
as far as what he's been able to create on
his entertainment side with the shows and the television TV
so he's built and even Streetport Louisian, he's kind of
like taking over that whole city and turned it into
an entertainment house. So his business acumen is something that

we've always respected him. We always wanted to have a
conversation with him, and we spoke to him for a
couple of hours. So he is excited to you know,
share his journeys, his business acumen, his plans for the future.
And I think that, of course it's gonna be entertaining.
So I think that that's something that people will really enjoy.

I like that that that that that deal getting fifty
of these things man, because he is a really really
smart guy. I mean from all the way back to
the vitamin water, from in the script to running his
own tools, to everything he's doing in shreport. Now think
that'd be exciting information. Also this year, let's talk about
the Nipsey Hustle Brius Business Grant. H. We've got this

Nipsey Hustle bus but this is the first that invests fest.
You got together with Microsoft and the Marathon to award
one hundred K to an outstanding entrepreneur to fuel their
business ambitions. H. How do you select the winner and
how did this come about?
Speaker 3 (03:30):
You know, we have to hout of.
Speaker 4 (03:30):
Working with the Marathon team, who is obviously Nissi Hustle's brother.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
And part of some of these business founders, and.
Speaker 4 (03:38):
So what's happened in this year, we understand that this
is their impact.

And one of the things that.

We have that's heard in our community is.

In after the capital. And so we were able to
clean up with Microsoft to give out one hundred thousand
to an entrepreneur.

And think of it as almost like American Idol, where
it's gonna be around leading up to a finals that'll
take place on stage, and.

That's on Friday. We'll have over one hundred people come in.
Speaker 4 (04:04):
We'll have that because their businesses in front of judges,
and that would be why I'm down with four people.
And then Saturday they possessed front of the main stage
with you know, over ten thousand people in attendance of
award winner one hundred thousand dollars, which is an incredible,
incredible way to start your business and really you know,
spark innovation and saday business with that type of capital.

It's a lot of big, big, major, that's a lot
that that that that can get you off to a
great start. And that's that's a lot of problem for
some of us. Sometimes it's just startup capital. H but
I always say, just everybody can start business. Uh, everybody,
you don't need one hundred thousand to get started, and

stop letting that stop you.

But if you get an opportunity to get.

A grant four hundred thousand dollars, you're sure is a
big shot in the arm. I'll tell you that that's
for sure. Hey, look y'all at Investments For tickets, all

it's gonna be all panel discussions. We got vendor marketplace,
live musical performances, we got podcast stages for interviews with

We got a food truck caravan. It's so much more.

When you look at the lineup, I mean, it's so
impressive yourself. We have fifty tent of course, we have

a tech incubator for five panel discussions on artificial intelligence
and the Vendom marketplace. This is the largest Vendom marketplace,

most in tactful. Troy talked about one hundred thousand will
also be given away twenty five thousand to a woman
my business. And then there's another twenty five thousand. That
devil is given away to somebody in the fend the marketplace.
So one hundreds of thousands of dollars are gonna be
given away. So I just think the energy and to
give back that the importance of artificial intelligence right now

the very pivotal time in our society. So I feel
like this is the most important invest Fest ever and
it definitely will be the most impactful whatever.
