Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well opening statements in the Sean Didtycombs federal sex trafficking
and racketeering trial started yesterday. Did He's children and his
mother were in the courtroom to support him. Did He's
trial will not be televised, according to TMZ. The first
witness was a former security guard from the Los Angeles
hotel where Didty was seen in the twenty sixteen surveillance

(00:22):
video that we all saw, the one where he was
beating Cassie, and he testified that did He try to
bribe him to keep quiet, though Didty's defense team countered
that Didty was only offering money because a vase was
broken in the incident. The security guard testified he got
a report of a woman in distress on the sixth
floor around eleven am and checked the cameras and saw

(00:45):
Ditty pacing back and forth.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
He told the jury he rushed to the.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Scene and he encountered Ditty in a towel and Cassie
on the floor. He says he told them if they
were arguing, they needed to take it back to their room.
He says he noticed a broken base on the floor
and did He told and told Diddy it would be
charged to the room. The security guard also said Cassie started,
stated that she asked for her phone and her bag

(01:11):
and wanted to leave, but did he told her she
couldn't leave. The hotel security guard testified he also went
to Ditty's room to remind him of the hotel rules.
The second witness was a male sex worker who says
did he directed the freak offs?

Speaker 2 (01:27):
And did he watched him.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Have sex with Cassie who paid for his services. He
testified that Diddy told him to urinate in Cassie's mouth
and she said yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. This
is what was going on day one, day one, all right,
he says, did he got upset? And once did he

(01:49):
got upset because of a lack of baby oil being used?
Wasn't enough baby oil. His testimony will continue tomorrow. He's charged,
of course, we know with federal accounts. Two charges sex trafficking,
to charge of the transportation to engage in prostitution.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
And Shirley don't killing. But we all in years. I
would like to aid something. I would like say something here.
You do not pay the bodyguard's security off to cover
the vase. Right when you are rich, you can pay

(02:27):
for a broken vase.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
It's gonna be charged to the room. That ain't no problem.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
I could tell you right now if you smoke a
cigar in certain hotel rooms, there is a fine. Now
Marjorie can't be in that room. If Marjorie's in that room,
there ain't gonna be no cigar smoking. But I've sat
on the balcony before with the door open and the
cigar smoke, went into the room and they find me.

(02:55):
But that's the rule. So I understand that they ain't
pay nobody to cover no vase. Yeah, it was your
friends need to do better than that. You paid somebody
to say nothing about this face.

Speaker 4 (03:07):
This is yesterday was day one. That is disturbing to
hear the testimony of these witnesses and sex workers that
participate urinate in her Jesus.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
And your mom is in the courtroom too.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Well, the mother I was reading that, I'd have to
I'd have I have turned around and tell my mama
something right there.

Speaker 4 (03:29):
And then and the kids watched out walked out doing
some of that.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
I said, come on, let's get out of here, because
my mama Steve introom.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
Yeah, oh it ain't no hell. I had to get
over Hey, man, y'all had to unchange me. I got
to go tell my mama that I didn't do that right.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
My mama was living that is that this.

Speaker 3 (03:56):

Excuse me, what defense attorney tell the tell the police
to unhook my cuffs?

Speaker 2 (04:07):
I gotta that's my mom in the bag I got.
I got talking about it right now.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
We probably took the daughters out. Yeah, yeah, I don't
think the daughter should come to court because there's nothing
going to be good.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
Yeah, well his boys is gonna come. Yeah, them sons
is gonna come. Hey man, let me tell you something.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
You can't die that much from your children, not that much.
And you know it's a technology and they're just smart.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
And he brought a bible. He brought a Bible to
the courtroom, and they said at times he was reading
the Bible.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Yeah, you should have been reading that in his sale.
That's what you mean you're doing in your sing? What
is he bringing it the court for? He should have
had that bible at them parties together?

Speaker 4 (05:01):
Freaking This is this is so sad, This is really
really it's hard to unsee that video, and it's hard
to unhear what these people are testifying and it's just
stay wild.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
Whatever the bodyguard is saying, the tape negates it don't
matter because.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
He was trying to bribe the guy for breaking.

Speaker 4 (05:28):
He was a security guard at the hotel for the hotel.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
I know, but you know, but his defense is saying
he was bribing him because he broke break the face.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
And they were asking and the security guard was saying
that Cassie had her face was purple and Diddy was
sitting there looking like demonic or something. And and then
the defense were like, you know, why didn't you say
that in your report? Why you know, trying to say
there was some inconsistencies in his testimony.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
You might say he.

Speaker 4 (06:01):
Said he left some things out, he didn't put everything in.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
There, and it might be, but excuse me, can you
roll the tape please? You know this is a this
is a travesty on so many levels.
