According to US Weekly, Cassie Ventura's mother, Regina Ventura, testified
at the Ditty trial earlier this week. Miss Regina said
that she took out a twenty thousand dollars home equity
loan to pay Ditty for his blackmail demand after he
threatened to release sexually explicit videos of Cassie when she
began dating kid Cuddy back in twenty eleven, but he

returned the money four to five days later. She said,
I was physically sick, That's what she told the US attorney.
I did not understand it. The sex tape threw me.
He was trying to hurt my daughter. Cassie told her
mother about Ditty's alleged abuse for the first time in
December of twenty eleven, and Regina said that she took

pictures of her injuries because she wanted to establish a record.
Now those pictures were shown to the jury. She also
noted that she once called the police on Ditty after
Cassie told her that Ditty had taken her phone. Miss
Regina said she had a quote bitter argument outside her
daughter's apartment building as she tried to get the phone

back from Ditty while Cassie was inside the apartment. She says,
I was trying to hit him. That's what the mother says.
She was trying to hit Ditty, but I wasn't successful,
claiming that Diddy eventually gave the phone back but took
Cassie's car as he left. Diddy's defense team declined to
cross examine Regina Ventura, and that was a smart move
