Todd Christly from the Christly Knows Best reality show is
pardoned last week by President Trump, and so is Todd's
wife Julie. After release, he did a press conference in
Nashville where he spoke on a racial inequality that exists
in the prison system. Tick a listen being in the
prison system.

Anyone that says that it's a fair shake, it's not.
Because I dealt with young African American males in the
prison that I was in that were not treated the same.
They were denied programming, they were denied access to certain things.
I was not denied that. But we know why I
wasn't denied that. And so I think that that is
a much bigger picture that we all as a society

as a whole need.

To look at.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
That we are one and whether you're a Republican, Democrat
or whatever. At the end of the day, when you're
in that hospital, you don't care if it's a Democrat
treating you or Republican. Now some of you may, but
I want whoever's going to be the best person to
do that.

Wow, we know that.

Moving you know there could be some good come of this. Now,
you know, I know people will how Trump pardon him. Well,
he out, you know, he wasn't in for murder physical
things against other human beings. He's out. I happen to
like him as a person. We've always gotten a long
dumbest show. Self. I thought he's a nice guy. But
what he said just now, it could begin to move

the needle. Because the lady that Trump pardoned because of
Kim Kardashian, Alice, Alice, Yeah, who works in that department now,
who looks at these cases can bring about some special
light on this. So you know, while I know the
majority of people are hating on Trump, we have to

find some lining in this that some good can come out.
And he's pardoning him and getting him out here to
say that, and then he said to him and it
is what he's going to be an advocate to help
people who are in the system like that. So this
could be a right sure.

Yeah, Alice, Marie Johnson, she's a reform at advocate herself.

Yeah, she's sozar now she was named as the prison star,
all right, And since Todd and Julie were pardoned, since
there there has been an outpouring of supportive and loyal
fans of chrisly Knows best who want them to return
to reality TV. Todd and Julie's daughter Savannah has confirmed
that they're already filming a new reality show that will

include footage of Todd and Julie's releases from prison. So
there you go, work, So moving on. This was the
best thing on IG over the weekend. I'm sure you
guys all saw it. The videos from Johnny gills Memorial
Day cookout slash birthday party popped up all over social media.
I love it. You could not stop talking about how

much fun everyone was having. I was a star studded outdoor,
old school type of party. Flex Alexander was a DJ,
and Johnny Gill, Shanie, Jeffrey oz Bourne and Kenny Lattimore
all took turn singing throughout the party. Anthony Anderson was there,
of course, Judge Greg Matthis got some moves. You saw
the Greg, Judge Matthews, Cedric the entertainer, Steve was there

and even Stevie Wonder. Did you guys see Stevie Wonder
sitting there? It looked like the most fun ever. Did
you see it, Steve?

I just saw a couple of clips. I didn't know who.
I didn't know it was Johnny Gill's party. Though I
saw Jeffrey Osmore singing, and I saw Kenny Lattimore on
the video.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
Yeah, I thought it was party. It was. It looked
like so much fun.

I wanted to be at that one, Anthony, nice clean party,
old school.

I saw you saw that a certain time. Did you

Nobody got kicked out by the hole. So you referring
to when a party, we'd be playing cards and we'd
be like, all right, there he got some foil.

Steve already set up his nice people. Now, would you
really hand people foril? You would hand people for you
and their coats, you know, because you know they're taken out.
That's it's New York man. You gotta get your food
wrapped up. So if I hand you some fall in

to go doing. But this you need to put both
of them on something.

But it was so much fun though. Oh my god,
Johnny Gill still has his moves. He was singing and
Jeffrey Osborne's voice is still golden when he sang love Ballad.

It was.

It was really good. I wish I was at that party.
That looked like a fun, fun party. Yeah, maybe all drama,
you know, none of that. It wasn't a freak off.
It's just a birthday party. Nobody lot of people coming in.

And put out. He didn't have nobody had to put
their kids out to turn off for the grown folk.

Okay, the after party, it was a lot, a lot
of fun that was enjoyable. It made you feel like
you were there, you wanted to be there. And happy birthday,
Johnny gil. Finally it is official. Eddie Murphy and Martin
Lawrence are in laws. Eddie revealed on Jay Hudd's talk

show last week that his son Eric married Jasmine Lawrence
in a private ceremony with just the two of them.
Eddie said, they went off. Everybody was making big wedding plans.
They decided to do something quiet with just the two
of them. So congratulations to Eric and Jasmine Murphy yeah, beautiful.
