Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, Saturday was deemed as Barack Obama Appreciation Day, and
it went viral on social media. The purpose was to
flood social media with positive images of former President Barack
Obama and reflect on a time when we respected the
office of the president. Barack Obama Appreciation Day happened to
fall on the same day as Trump's seventy ninth birthday.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
So here's a question. Did you guys participate? I didn't.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
Well, let me say it is. Barack Obama Appreciation Day
is every day.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Yes, now especially every day.

Speaker 4 (00:35):
Oh my goodness, it's just too much going on.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
It's a mess right now. It is a mess with
ice and with all all this stuff. It's is it America?

Speaker 5 (00:47):
Really?

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Yeah? And does sometimes?

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Speaking of President Trump, as his disastrous military parade for
his seventy ninth birthday went as scheduled, it did not
draw out a major crowd as he is hoped for,
and it reportedly wasted up to forty five million dollars.
But even if it didn't, he's gonna say it was anyway.

Speaker 5 (01:10):
I saw, I saw, I know, I saw eight and
nine people.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
That's what I saw. That's easy to count.

Speaker 5 (01:17):
On the ground.

Speaker 6 (01:18):
I saw eighty nine people, and that scattered, and I
counted twice. I'm just kidding out. I counted, you do
you double checked yourself double checked. It might have been ninety,
but I'm sure I'm right on with eighty nine or
what I started ninety.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Trump and his officials stood on stage at the National
Mall while US troops marched on foot, on horseback, and
rode by in tanks. Okay, really, that's why we had.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
No King's Day. Okay, this is why.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Meanwhile, in all fifty states, thousands of protesters participated in
No King's rallies were aimed at rejecting authoritarianism in their
first politics and the militarization of our democracy. The ralli's
number of protests to proceeded the number of attendees for
Trump's birthday parade in DC. And we just heard that

(02:12):
Tommy said he counted eighty nine.

Speaker 5 (02:14):
Eighty nine.

Speaker 6 (02:15):
I could be wrong, it could be ninety, but I'm
telling you eighty nine is what I counted. I'm not
colling the people that's all in the tanks and stuff
that's working. I'm talking about the people that came out
to participate for the party. I counted eighty nine people,
all right, if you were there and I didn't count you,
and you're thinking I'm not counting you.

Speaker 5 (02:33):
Cool you ninety All right, that's it.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
We've a round up.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Yeah, nothing personal, right, bleaches.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
Those bleachers was just empty. It was empty.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Yeah, and this goes forty five million dollars. Let's not
forget that. Okay, forty five million dollars.

Speaker 5 (02:51):
It just hurt.

Speaker 6 (02:53):
Bleachers hurt when you buy yourself sitting on I don't
know if you know that.

Speaker 5 (02:56):
They don't hurt that bad.

Speaker 6 (02:57):
When it's a game going, it's some excitement, enthusiasm, but
when it's nothing happening, a bleach will start weighing you that.

Speaker 5 (03:04):
I just want you to know.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
You'd be like, come sit by me, scoot for that.
I wipe this part off.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
I know it's a little wet from the rain.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
It's also unbelievable what's going on in Los Angeles. As
you know, the National Guard was deployed in the Los
Angeles area to intimidate thousands of protesters that spoke out
against the massive ice immigration suite.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
So it's a mess right now in this country.

Speaker 5 (03:31):
It is truly a mess.

Speaker 4 (03:32):
I mean the Army parade this past Saturday in Kim
Jong un.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
You're right in DC. Yeah, it gave you dictatorship.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
Yeah, but but you want to salute our veterans because
here's the issue that I have. You want to have
this parade and forty five million dollars, but then you,
you and your boy must cut benefits for.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Veterans and all.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
They got into a beef. And now that's right. It's
like this is too much. Okay, it's too much.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
If you were really really invested in it, it caused
major it could cause major stress, major stress. All right,
this is crazy and it's right here, forty five million
dollars for this.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
Yeah, what were you.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
Saying, Tommy?

Speaker 6 (04:18):
I was just saying, you know, you you cutting, you
cutting from military. But then military actually has to show
up and still do their job, so they count in
a tight situation at the same time, you know what
I mean.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Yeah, and not their job, and this is not their job.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Our job is to protect the country, you know, and
all of that stuff and the people in it. This
is not their job to give you a parade for
your birthday so you could look like a dictator.

Speaker 4 (04:43):
The military is in the middle of this politics.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
You're putting our arm services in the middle of your.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
Political wishes and wants and and drama, and it's cost then, yeah, it's.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
Causing the American people.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
We're all confused, scratching our head, and you want to
take away democracy.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
You're sending the National Guarden on Americans.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Americans, that's not their job.

Speaker 4 (05:14):
In the Marines, in on American citizens for their freedom
to protest, their rights to protest.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
I don't yeah, that is definitely are all right according
to the now.

Speaker 6 (05:26):
