Speaker 1 (00:01):
All right, I gotta ask you, guys, how was your weekend?

Speaker 2 (00:03):
See, we know you were at a fishing convention over
the weekend.

Speaker 1 (00:07):
How was that?

Speaker 3 (00:08):
Well? All last week practically. You know, there's a fishing
convention called I Cast I c Ast, and it's all
innovations to do anything with fishing, salt water, fresh boats, batteries, motors,

(00:30):
trolling rods, reels and mules.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Oh god, I was in the man. I had demonstrations.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
They had boats. You could try kayaks.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
I'm not doing do no kayak. I do have four
kayaks though, but they have.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
Chairs in them. Oh. Would you become a professional fisherman
if you could?

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Man? When I retire on a fast pro tour? Oh wow,
I probably ain't gonna win it, but I'm gonna be
on it though.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
So, if you could fish with anyone in the world,
anyone to go out on a fishing you know, just
a fishing date with anyone, who would it be?

Speaker 3 (01:14):
Dion Sanders? Okay, fishing is like golf. You can't go
with everybody.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
Uh huh.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
Really, there's too much time sitting on the boat. You
be on boating, nobody you on life.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Okay, Okay, And Why Dione, Why Brian because you know
how to fish.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
Oh, and we're just real cool the conversation. A great
dude man, always texting each other. That'd be the most
enjoyable sitting on a boat with him.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Okay, so Steve's weekend was cool, kind of chilled out
with the fish and everything. Carla, on the other hand,
was in Vegas living her best life Steve.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
Just like Steve, loving the fishing, loving the convention. I
walked into the casino, Yes, casinos.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
Yoking, gambling, Yeah, shopping you are did you?

Speaker 1 (02:10):
You know what?

Speaker 4 (02:10):
I didn't get a chance to make it over to
the Uno luxury suite. But next trip, next trip.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Yeah, that's trip right there. I like it. Yeah, we
had a good time.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
I stayed at the Wind with my family. We do
this trip every year with my aunt that lives in
La Yeah, so this is a big fan. It's like
a family reunion. So she always says, let's go to Vegas,
and so we go and we have a good time.
So okay, it was nice Vegas, baby, yes all the time.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
You're right, the desert. It was not in the casino,
not in the mall right, but it was outside.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Yeah, all right, thank you, guys. Moving on, here's another
here's an unlikely zero think about this. Former President Barack
Obama and comedian Larry David. You know who created Seinfeld. Well,
they're teaming up for a new series on HBO. The
Sketch Comedy TV series will be about America and comedy.

(03:15):
All right, you comedians should be interested in this. Larry
David is seventy eight years old. He will star in it,
co write it, and executive produce the series, and the
Obama's Higher Ground Production company will produce the new show.
When asked about the new show, former President Obama said quote,
I've sat across the table from some of the world's
most difficult leaders and wrestled with some of the most

(03:38):
intractable problems. Nothing has prepared me for working with Larry David.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
I have no experience, so he's difficult to work with. Exactly, exactly.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
So, are you guys excited to see the show come
about Larry David's return to TV and all of that.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
Yeah, because Seinfeld was just great, of course, outstanding.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
Uh curb your curb your enthusiasm, right, Yes, one of
my favorite, which was even better than me.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
I love it.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
So real?

Speaker 1 (04:14):
What do you think you're excited? You want to you
can't wait for it.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
But I'm definitely going to watch the support Obama production
to Obama on a sitcom.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
It'll be a breath of fresh air. I don't think
I don't want to be I think I got.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
Burned out on Saturday Night Live. That's just me though, really. Yeah, yeah,
I like some spots, but yeah, for the most part.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
What do you think, Steve.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
I've never seen Curb your Enthusiasm. I've never seen Larry
David show. I'm a fan of his though, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
I've just seen clips. I think he's funny at all
get out, super talented. I think Barack Obama is just
gonna executive produce it, just like Michelle Obama executive produce later,
Data Later. Yeah, I think that's what it is. I

(05:05):
don't think Obama's gonna put him so. He might make
a cameo or something like that, but he's not gonna
put himself out like that. He's just.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
No, he's too regal. He's too regal.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
He was born into greatness, and he understands that he's
not gonna lay the title of greatness down, especially be
goofy he's not gonna do that.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
But it's about America and comedy.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
Well, American comedy it doesn't exist anymore. It's not true
comedy anymore. It's just not I'm sorry people that can
do it, it's just it's destroying it. You gotta watch
everything you say about everybody. Now. Luckily you know I
did something about the homish, but what you know, they're

(05:50):
not gonna find out. They got on TV, ain't got
on radio, so pretty much far off. And even if
they do get together, how many miss it because you
boycott me. I'm boycott you. You're gonna need me to
buy that butter in them chairs.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
More than that's what they're doing. It took a lot
of time making Bill.

Speaker 4 (06:15):
Now.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
I hope they ask you to be on this show.
I really do, because you've still got it.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
Steve Smartphone, I'm not coming back.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
I'm gonna come on there. I'm gonna I'm gonna come
on there and just wear all Armish clothes. Everything's gonna
be cotton and one stitch. The shirt ain't got no
buttons on it.
