Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, guys, for the first time in history, in the
history of reality shows, we saw a mother, Jackie Christie,
swinging on her daughter on camera.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
This was on last.
Speaker 1 (00:12):
Week's episode of Basketball Wives. I don't know if you
guys saw this. There's been a very shaky relationship between
Jackie Christie and her children. Jackie is a wife of
legendary NBA player Doug Christie. Jackie and Doug's daughter, Chantelle
is on the show now and Chantelle's main storyline is
trying to make amends with her mom Jackie. The relationship
(00:33):
between Jackie and Chantelle went from heated to explosive and
turned into a physical altercation in a hotel room in Hawaii.
We could see Chantelle push Jackie off of her, and
then Jackie lunged at her daughter with close fists and
it looks like she punched Chantell. Security came in then
and pulled the ladies apart. Afterwards, Jackie called her husband
(00:56):
to tell him what happened, And of course we'll have
to tune in to Basketball Wise. Their season finale is
tonight to see how it ends. My son and mom. Yeah,
Chantel had a broken nail. Yeah more than yeah. Yeah,
they've had a really.
Speaker 3 (01:13):
I know, a whole lot of black men taste out.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
They kids, mom, I'm on camera, off camera in front
of people out in the grocery.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
Store, leash, Karen did.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
I wish there was.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
One Wait what happened?
Speaker 3 (01:26):
But at least Carroll hit me? Y'all y'all, wouldn't y'all
be come to my rescue?
Speaker 1 (01:30):
There was no outrage, that was nothing.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
Who was in the grocery store?
Speaker 3 (01:37):
But you need to get out of the show. The
check out line number three should have did something.
Speaker 4 (01:42):
She didn't even take that hit, that's all she did.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
Quit the scanning and jump of her help me, help
you see me? Yeah, that was a lot.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
It was.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
It was a lot to see them going at it
like that. All.
Speaker 1 (01:59):
You know, that amount of time.
Speaker 4 (02:01):
You need to get off reality TV if you and
your child are on cameras as.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
Low as you can go. Yeah, that was too much
for the family. It really is too much.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
And Jackie's been on the show for a long time
and her daughter just came on this season.
Speaker 5 (02:15):
Yeah. I just have a problem with people disrespecting their mothers.
I just have a problem with that. I mean, you know, yeah,
a mother. Look, mothers aren't perfect people. I get that.
I get that, but there's a certain amount of grace
that they should be given. Yeah, because they gave you life.
(02:39):
They gave you life, and a lot of these kids
don't even really realize it's sacrifices that their mothers have
made for them to even be in a position to
be they that they in.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
They forget all.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
Of that, and that's part of it, Steve.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
With these two ladies, the daughter is complaining that the
mother hasn't been there for her, you know, since childhood
and all that. So she's bitter about that. She's hurt
because of that, and it's playing out on camera now.
She came on the show and it just exploded. You know,
we didn't even know all of this.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
It's gonna take a lot to fiction.
Speaker 5 (03:13):
It's yeah, they swinging on your mom, and your mama
swinging on you.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
You know.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
You know, it's bad enough when they fight amongst themselves,
the women, and now you've got families going at it.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
Well anyway, Yeah, I.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
Just feel like there's way too much thought.
Speaker 2 (03:31):
I think how we are that's jis thought.
Speaker 4 (03:37):
When she hit me, y'all didn't do nothing to I
was looking at the name tag it's said Cheryl, and
I was looking at Snickers the next moment.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
It was quick.
Speaker 4 (03:47):
It was so fast, y'all. So I cannot understand. I
can't anythat they get it to me.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
All Right, we're gonna move on.
Speaker 1 (03:57):
Despite Tyler Perry being a billionaire, we all know he is,
he opened up about firing his aunt that wasn't taking
her job seriously. Tyler did an interview with Kirk Franklin
uh and when talking about working with family, Tyler said
his aunt would always call asking him for money. So
he offered her a job and she took it, but
she didn't take the job seriously. Tyler said, quote, she
(04:20):
wouldn't come to work. So I'm like, okay, well you
got to go. You want me to hand you the money,
but you don't want to work for it. See, that
doesn't work for me. So Steve, you agree with that
how Tyler handled on a situation with his aunt.
Speaker 5 (04:33):

Speaker 3 (04:40):
