Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, so let's get right into this. President Donald
Trump's newest initiative is to eliminate mail in voting ballots
and voting machines at polling places. Trump ranted, quote, I
am going to lead a movement to get rid of
all mail, to get rid of mail in ballots, and also,
while we're at it, highly inaccurate, very expensive, and serious,

(00:22):
controversial voting machines. Elections can never be honest with mail
in ballots and voting and everybody, in particular the Democrats
know this. According to Trump, America is the only country
dumb enough to still use them because other nations gave
them up after massive fraud. Trump didn't just make this announcement.
He also promised to actually sign an executive order to

(00:44):
ban mail in ballots and voting machines, which will force
the country to go back to using paper ballots with
watermarks that Trump says can't be faked. Mail in ballots
are widely used by We know seniors use mail in ballots,
with disabilities use mail in ballots. Military personnel stationed overseas

(01:05):
use mail in ballots.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
How does he think he won the election by five
million votes? How does he think that happen. See, you're
so busy talking about fraud, man, you don't even you
so you're so stuck on the first election. It's just crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Man.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
You pushing the narrative that the election was stolen to
the point where you're gonna mess yourself up. It don't
make no sense. But here's the problem. All of this
may not be his last term. These people are going
to try to keep this man as president there if

(01:45):
he gets enough of these initiatives passed, and the Republican
Party is afraid of him.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
They're all afraid.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Yea. They are the biggest cowards I've ever seen, Yes, ma'am.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
He said. He just said America is the only country
dumb enough to still use them because other twelve countries
that still do mail in bout didn't he vote by mail?
I believe he did.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
It doesn't he doesn't. He doesn't get it. He's so
big stated on the election being stolen.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
And it wasn't. It wasn't stolen. Stop it. But what
about the seniors who can't get out of their homes
and all that and need mail, people with disabilities? What
about those people you know that's here, they've been using
mail in ballots for years. Yeah, it's really going to
affect their ability to vote.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
He's he's unbelievable, man. And the country that we live.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
In right now, that's all you can do is just go.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
This country is in the worst shape since I've been born.
And I mean listen to me, man, I was I
was worse than the sixties. Bruh. I was born into
whites only water fountains and bathrooms. I was born in
that era. I saw the signs I've lived in. What's

(03:14):
happening today, though, is equivalent to what happened then, because
they're doing it. It's it's white's only education right now.
They want to eradicate black history. It's it's they want
to get rid of this. You know, I don't want
to talk about this monch.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
All right, all right, moving on. We're just gonna move on.
But that's what's cat time for this man.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
No, not today.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Man. Cable news channel, formerly known as MSNBC, is rebranding
and will now be called MS now. The new acronym
stands for My Source for News, Opinion and the World.
The new name is a result of the network leaving
NBC Universal and being acquired by vers Versat colo Ceo

(04:01):
remarked that the new name underscores the brand's mission to
serve as the destination for domestic and international breaking news
and the best in class opinion journalism. So were you
guys a fan of MSNBC used to be Yeah, yeah,

(04:23):
I was a fan.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
I was a fan.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
So well, now it's going to be known as ms
now it has changed what they need to hire Joy
read Yeah now that Yeah, she had a great show. Finally,
according to Variety, ESBN will not be airing Spike Lee's
long awaited docuseries on former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Back

(04:50):
in twenty twenty two, h Spike signed on to work
on the docuseries, which promised to help Kaepernick tell his
story from his perspective. That's about the docuseries at the
Red Carpet. At a red carpet event in Beverly Hills recently,
Spike Lee told the reporters at all he could say
is that the docuseries will not be released and he

(05:11):
can't talk about it because he signed an NDA, a
non disclosure agreement. So you have any thoughts on that, Steve,
Why do you think ESPN pull the plug on the docuseries?

Speaker 2 (05:22):
About that, well, because ESPN of course has a deal
with sports. I mean, you know, and ESPN is owned
by Disney. Disney has a rigorous standard of how they're
supposed tagged. Yeah, and so I think that that has
a lot to do with it. They're not. I think

(05:45):
what he's done has uncovered and unmasked in his documentary
some things about the NFL that people don't want to
face and deal with. Hey, look, you go from a
guy like Jerry Jones going down on the field supporting
his players, locking arm in arm when they were on
their knees, cooking knee all of a sudden, to all yeah,

(06:07):
to all of a sudden, hey man, don't do this
no more. You won't be on this team. It went
from that to that, what meeting did the owners have?
I'm thirty two, buddy, I'm thirty two. It's something else.
I'm thirty two because that's a group of people who
truly act like owners.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
I don't know if we'll ever see that. You're listening,
