Speaker 1 (00:01):
Former Vice president Kamala Harris's new memoir, One hundred and
seven Days, comes out September twenty third, and she's preparing
for an extensive book tour now. Earlier this week, excerpts
from the book were released, and they're causing quite a stir.
In one excerpt, Kamala wrote that she thought it was
quote reckless to allow Joe Biden and doctor Jill Biden

(00:22):
to decide on their own to run for reelection. Kamala wrote,
it's Joe and Jill's decision. We all said that like
a mantra, as if we had all been hypnotized.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Okay, the stakes were simply too high.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
This wasn't a choice that should have been left to
an individual's ego and individual's ambition. It should have been
more than a personal decision. Kamala also called out Joe
Biden's White House staff for doing very little to support
her and promote her popularity. She wrote, none of them
grasped that if I did well, he did well, My

(01:01):
success was important for him.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Oh, it sounds like Kamala is telling it all in
this book. What do you think?

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Well, I don't know how that's gonna work out.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
I mean.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
That's her truth.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
We're telling the truth.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
That ain't what they do nor truth it is, Yeah, memoir.

Speaker 5 (01:26):
I mean, she could do it like she want to.
I'm cool with it. I'm not bothered by it one
way or another. Right, But other people that's gonna take
this information and.

Speaker 6 (01:38):
Run with it.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Yeah boy, Yeah, you're right.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Democrats can't get it together. They can't stick together all
of that.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Yeah, I don't.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Want you saying is that. All she's saying is that
they should have run it by someone before they decided
on their own to run for.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 5 (02:01):
Because you know, I mean early after the first debate
with Trump, they all jumped off his bandwagon. When I
saw Van Jones on CNN say he need to drop
out the race. Oh god, that was hot right there,
and then it just trickled down.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Yeah, And you know, Kamala was saying it shouldn't have
been left up to an individual's ego.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
I guess she's saying that his ego got it.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
It was bigger than that.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
It should have been left up to the party to
make a decision, which it was later.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Ambition.

Speaker 5 (02:38):
You all know this as a fact. When it's something
wrong with you, you usually the last person to know it.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Everybody else knows you're in denial.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
About person to admit it to you.

Speaker 6 (02:55):
I mean, I mean, we got it on this show.
What do you say this right here? Before we even
store I go, I'll go down the line. And nobody
said nothing to y'all this morning, and not for it
this morning. I said it just like that.

Speaker 5 (03:07):
Okay, And I care, okay, yeah, and I can am
okay okay, well, and I care, like I said, I
can go down.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
The line, go ahead, sure, uh huh.

Speaker 5 (03:21):
Has never thought of herself as bourgie mhm, and we.

Speaker 6 (03:26):
All have.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
That's okay. So she's saying she's in denial about her.

Speaker 4 (03:32):
Boginess for I'm just me see right there, Family say that,
Family say that that's.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
True that anyway? Else?

Speaker 5 (03:43):
Come on, well, color yes, ratched hoodness, I'm.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Not any of those things.

Speaker 5 (03:52):
The tie cutting, pulling gas in tank, busting windshields.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
Hides it under the word a legit.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Yes, yes, you have no we all see no proof.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Now I got to going to these other two right here?

Speaker 2 (04:10):
When what about yourself? What about yoursel sir?

Speaker 5 (04:15):
Look in the mirror, sir, I know see, I know
for a fact, I can be hard to get along with.
Already know, okay, because we all know it. Already know
I could be little choppy sometime. I already know.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
It, little choppy.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
I ain't got time up.

Speaker 5 (04:34):
Here in this position fix it for everybody. Ain't nobody
trying to fix it for me. So sometimes I come
to work and I just let you have it like
I got it this morning myself.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
I serve it on.

Speaker 5 (04:47):
A cold plate of bs Well.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
Kamla Harrison's book One hundred and seven Days comes out
September twenty third.

Speaker 5 (04:55):
Make sure you why she called the book one hundred
and seven days, because that's how I was late her campaign.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Remember she remember that Tight Windows show?

Speaker 5 (05:04):
Oh okay, yeah, but that's what I think. One of
the real reasons she lost was she got the baton
too late. Well, they gave her the bat and she
couldn't run a race. And then here's the other reason.
Because we live in the racist and race driven country

(05:25):
that we live in.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
Yeah, they're not going to do.

Speaker 4 (05:29):
That, all right, Yeah, Well, it's just some people that's
just not going to and.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
All of that. We're going to move on to Paula Dean.
She was one of the first victims of cancel culture.
If you remember. Back in twenty thirteen, she admitted in
an interview that she had used the N word before.
In an all new documentary titled Cancel The Paula Deine Story,
Paula and her attorney explained the context in which Dean
used the N word, and it still doesn't sit well

(05:56):
with a lot of people, according to Entertainment Weekly. In
the documentary, Dean admitted that she had used the word
when she worked at a bank a few years ago.
She said, yes, of course I used that word. It
may have been the day that this black man came
into the bank and put a gun up to my head.
All he said was get the big bills. So I
did that and gave it to him and he left.

(06:19):
I couldn't believe I was still alive. So we got
to see this documentary because you know, we'll see if
she's still canceled.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
Almost shot me.
