Speaker 1 (00:00):
A Los Angeles family is suing a funeral home after
workers misplaced their loved one's body and dressed another corpse
in his clothing. Miss Hunt said she arrived at the
Harrison Ross mortuary to view her late uncle's body and
was shocked to see someone else wearing his suit. She says,
it was a guy lying there in my uncle's suit,

(00:22):
but it wasn't my uncle. I just kept looking at him. Yeah,
I am like he couldn't have gotten that dark. Even worse,
she says, a worker dismissed her concerns and insisted it
was a correct body and that she was the one
who was mistaken. Hunt said, that's not my uncle. My
uncle wouldn't have gotten that dark. I showed a picture

(00:43):
and she said, yeah, you're right, Give us one minute.
Hunt says the family waited three hours for the mortuary
to fix the mistake before they could finally bury her uncle.
The family has since filed a lawsuit. So here's the question,
do you guys have any crazy funeral stories?

Speaker 2 (01:06):
No? I think first thing they need to do is
for this lawsuit to be successful, is somebody gonna have
to find a way Yeah, to ask Uncle Harold where
he was, what do you mean, because I don't know
who the dogs can do? Is y'all had in here
and you don't know what happened to people when they die.

(01:27):
You don't know if the shades come out, change anything.
So the mortuary was playing on that. But they just
put the suit on the wrong body. That's the whole
thing happened. I've actually had that when my uncle died.
I took the suit up to the funeral in them
when we when we yeah, when we got to the
church there, my uncle didn't have a suit on. He

(01:48):
had on a Jordan track suit.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
They took the suit.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
Cast and well they opened the cash and he had
on a Jordan track suit and funeral director had this
suit on that.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
That's so shady, that's so shady, jacked your uncle suit.
He didn't think anyone would notice.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
What, Yeah, that's what I was sitting there going my brother,
my big brother say, and ain't that a suit we
took up because my uncle would never wear a Jordan tracksuit?
He ain't.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
He hammers yeah this so.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
We now, you know, we just myther brother said they
should have put a headband on it to go with
the what yeah, yeah, you know you know, make him
look more.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
Athletic, complete the look.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
I said that. My brother says that coal track shuit though.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
JR.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
I know, JR. Let's just get.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Your family. Brothers wanted to be a pall bearer, but
he wasn't in the best health, so we don't know
why we let him be the pall bear. He had
all this medical equipment and couldn't carry his end of
the cask. He had defibulators, tank, wheel chair, his water,
carry his sister to that hers boy with that march
went off and said where where where his blood pressure

(03:33):
went up? Boy?

Speaker 2 (03:34):

Speaker 3 (03:36):
We told y'all he wasn't able to carry his body.
Man passing, say y'all been with the family, Bear with
the family. Boy, my muscles up this. He had no
business being a pall bearer. We got any health conditions,
we need able body. Paul Bear, don't see up here

(03:59):
trying to carry somebody it because that's your sister.

Speaker 2 (04:04):

a Paul Bear. I'm gonna tell you, I try tore,
not gonna be able to keep this casket either, right.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
She then dropped his end. She did slid inside, casting.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
All right, I were sure to go down the steps. Now,
somebody get down these steps.

She went "boysober," a personal concept that sparked a global movement among women looking to prioritize themselves over men.
