Speaker 2 (00:01):
It seems more and more people are making the decision
not to have kids these days. According to a recent
study by Michigan State University, the percentage of adults who
don't want kids today has nearly doubled. It was fourteen
percent back in two thousand and two. Now it's twenty
nine percent. That's the latest from twenty twenty three statistics.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Which was in the nineties.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
The trend is still growing. The research didn't pinpoint the
exact reasons why Americans are opting out of parenthood, but
they're they're saying things like, you know, the state of
the world right now, economic worries, the allure of having
more freedom. You know, they don't have to worry about
their children. You're a parent. See, yes, I say it,
all those things.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
I say it all.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Yeah, the reason.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
But we didn't have planned parent who?

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Yes, we did, we did, we did. What do you
guys love about being parents and grandparents? In your case
Junior and Steve and.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Well, this ain't a good that ain't a good. Say way, well,
it ain't the story about we don't want the kids?
Now you want?

Speaker 2 (01:11):
You got to convince them, Yeah, convince the people that
don't want them that they want.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Well, I think we should start with Junior because Junior
is the newest grandfather. Oh, well, the pictures. I love
seeing the pictures.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
