It is time now for junior and sports talk. What

Speaker 2 (00:04):

Speaker 2 (00:14):
But Brian James was drafted and by who the Lakers?
The Lakers. Yes, is this obvious or not? You know what,
I'm proud that he drafted.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
Yeah, you could say, you know, round one, not so well,
that's too obvious.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Round two. Hey, he drafted by the Lakers. He get
to go to work with his dad.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
Now everybody saying like, well, that's not a good thing,
or he shouldn't be this way, or shouldn't go this way,
or whatever whatever you want to say. If my father
is one of the greatest players in the NBA, he
should draft me. See, that's the word I was looking for, Shirley.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
I stayed up all I try and figure out they
know what that was. I ain't know the word.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
We haven't on the show between Steve and the nephew.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
Yeah, but I didn't know. I just thought they was,
you know, hire family workers.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
That's what I thought. But let's think about this though,
my father. I thought about it because I called my dad.
We talked about it. He's like, hey, did you see
the Lakers drafted Bronnie James. Okay, cool, that's Fun's great,
he said, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
But he's supposed to.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Okay, cool, cause my father worked at AT and T
for forty five years.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
Oh wow, is this about your and your dad?

Speaker 3 (01:37):
If my behind wasn't working over here and my father
been there forty five years, and when as soon as
I'm eligible to work for AT and T, if he don't.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Hire me, he's supposed to let me be over here
at Verizon and see what happened?

Speaker 3 (01:54):
Uh huhra I mean what would you want share history?

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Who would not take their child? Okay?

Speaker 3 (02:03):
You mean tell me you're not taking Tasha on a
job with you, Carla? Come on, no, my daughter, My
daughter wants to be a surgeon, so radio, but do
you know the people that work over there at the
surgery department? I do not?

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Okay, okay, sure would you do it? Bring Sheridan? Yes,
if I could get it.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Well, she I was gonna say if I could get
her up, but she does get up because she's a mom.
So if there was an opportunity. Of course, who wouldn't
do it. That's your point. I get it.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Yeah, I mean I get your point. I get what
you're saying.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
But at the at the end of the day, this
is the first time, this is history, that straight Son
playing in the NBA, Bronnie and lebron James playing for
the Lakers.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
I love it.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
Yeah, I can't believe they drafted him. Absolutely supposed to
draft him.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
I'm your daddy, boy, I'm kids. Let's go man, Thank
you Junior.
