All right, it's that time, ladies and gentlemen, this Thanksgiving time,
and we have our resident poet in the building. Tell me,
why don't you do the honors? Please?

If you insist, Shirley, you know, do I really do?

You know, I'm a most deaf kind of guy myself,
you know. But he's not a resident.

Ladies and gentlemen, get ready. This is Jay Rap.

That is Junior's ragged poem.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
I'm gonna tell y'all something.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
You know.

Speaker 4 (00:36):
It's Thanksgiving, yep, it's a time when people get together
and families get together.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
So I wrote this poem with that in mind.

The title of the poem, he sounds like you preached
all week or something.

Yes, the title of the poem is, I don't want
to see some of y'all.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
Well, here we go this year.

Speaker 4 (01:02):
I wanted to keep our Thanksgiving dinner small because I'll
be honest, I don't want to see some of y'all.
I told my wife to get a small turkey and
some dressing. Just be with her and our new dog
is truly a blessing. But she wants see invite some people.
I don't want to see. I don't want them in
my house bothering me, and you know they gonna want

to take some place home and just like that, all
my turkey and dressing will be gone. Listen, I'm telling
you now, so you don't have to text me or call.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
I mean it, and I really do.

Speaker 4 (01:37):
I don't want to see some of y'all happy Thanksgiving
and get it at your own house the end.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
I love it. I love it. I'm not doing this
with y'all.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
Yeah, whatever y'all know is some people y'all don't want
to see a child house.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
You know who these people live?

Speaker 4 (01:56):
Yes?

Yeah, wow, So okay, So Junr the people that you're
talking about, could they be possibly listening?

If they is? They know? If they if they they know.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
Very possibly. Matter of fact, don't worry about to call
it here. Let me fix it for you. Darl Jenkins.
Don't come by right, We're not doing that. Bren Flowers,
don't come by here. Call Matthews, stay well, stay where
you at anymore, ain't Benita. We don't need it this year.

We don't. We don't know who her boyf the it's
gonna be this year.

We have no idea all these old players she'd be
bringing out here every every year is a new with
I want to try to be invested last year, mister Marcus.

There's too many of them. It's worry teeming. Don't bring any.

And you know, you know what.

If I see my cousin Michelle again this year and
she's pregnant, I'm through.

I'm Everythanksgiving?

Everyone, Every Thanksgiving, you you prayed that at the table
with a regular stomach.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
You always pregnant every year.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
You always you always backed away from the table. You
ain't never up over the table all your food eating
on your stomach. You keep risking your plate on your stomach.
Were tied and seeing it now anybody else.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
We tied your family. I love I love your family.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
And listen, let me tell you something. He not my cousin.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
If I see my cousin Mark, if he if he
come in there with one more tattoo, he ain't got
them a rule.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
If I see him one more tat ain't no. We
can't even. We don't even know if his face and
eyes is open. We've been looking at the book. We
don't have a clue. I'm tied for you.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
I'm tired Tim to keep doingtoos yet, Man, you can't
see his whole face because you don't even know if
his eyes is open.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
He done tended them. I don't know what. I'm not
gonna sit there and play nice this year. I'm not
doing it.
