Hunt Hill Bridge down in Dallas Fort Worth area. I'm
telling you it's gonna be nice tomorrow. This is the
seventh annual Heiri's Whole five k Run and Fun Walk
having at the Market Hunt Hill Bridge. Registration starts at
seventh and the race.

Why do you call it a fun walk, Junior? Yeah?

Because they have fun. Now, some people out there are
completely right for qualifications for marathons.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
Well that ain't fun then, well, but that's not the
one we doing.

When your fun walking is when you got the conversation.
You take your time. You know, you ain't got the rush.
You know, everybody talks sometime.

have some people out there that's preparing for a real run.

get the qualifying time. You know, tell me know about

year doing this race, but the Foundation ten years Thank
you Day around ten years. Man, I've been doing this
ten years, helping these families with a sickle cell disease,
which is something I never thought i'd be doing. I
didn't know we were gonna have it this way for
ten years. Because, man, I'm tell you something, the people

that I've affected, Man, this foundation has done a great job,
and I want to thank my team for helping me.

We've been We've taken all the proceeds down to Jacksonville, Florida,
to d C. To New York, to Chicago, to Memphis,
to I want to say, Birmingham.

I've been.

I've been a lot of places over these ten years
with this foundation, man, So I am really proud of that.
At Christmas time, I have plea for we have paid
for so many families Christmases because at Christmas time a
lot of sickle cell pagers wake up in the hospital
and don't get to have Christmas. So we give them
Christmas before we get there, and that's what the proceeds
go to. So that's what we do with about what

the folks that we get. I have nothing to do
with none of the money.

I get you. Have you ever been in the hospital
on Christmas? Yes? I have, sir. That's how it came.
Why I did I have home.

And you know what makes it bad is because your
whole family is in that hospital with you on Christmas
and you've taken a Christmas for everybody.
