Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, So Michael Jordan, the legendary Michael Jordan is
making headlines again for being spotted aboard an eighty million
dollars super yacht, but this time it's not for a
game winning shot. It was described as a seventy meter
vessel that is one of the most lavish yachts to date.
It has five sprawling decks, a private gym, a basketball court.

(00:22):
You know a lot about these type things, Steed Beach Club,
several lounges designed for comfort in any climate. Michael Jordan
is getting a lot of backlash because large yachts burned
thousands of gallons of fuel, releasing enormous amounts of carbon
dioxide into the atmosphere. Reports say that he does not
own the yacht, but did charter it for a week

(00:44):
or two. So here's a question. Should you be ashamed
of your success and how you choose to spend your money?
No good, every right, No man, he got every right.
That is ridiculous. He worked for that money.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
They say it won't.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
It's a seventy meter vessel. Seventy meter vessel, one of
the most lavish yachts to date. Eighty million dollars super
yacht and he rented it for a week. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Do you know how many people do that?

Speaker 1 (01:16):
You? We know you do it magic j Yeah, because
of the the you know, the gas fumes and all
of that. That's what it is. The carbon dioogos to go. Yeah,
being conscious of the atmosphere and you know you just

(01:38):
the boats run off gas and Jones or the.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Time that boat is out in seat.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Yeah, if I got Michael George, I'm saying, if my
logo is on shoes, I'm on the boat too.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
I don't understand.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Yeah, what is that logic? Mm hmm. So now you
can't live because you're super successful. You're a billionaire, so
you can't live your life and.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
The atmosphere and global warming, that's an issue we have.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Then. Don't make the boat then, but it's not like
he does it every day day.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Don't make the administration that's gotten rid of affirmative action,
teaching black history in schools there that in a minute,
what people are going to be stunned that in just
a short minute, they've getting rid of the Affordable Care Act,
they're going to kill Medicaid, and y'all if you're talking
about this one boat, how much steam is shooting of man.

(02:44):
Y'all need to find something else to do.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
I know, I know, crazy, Yeah, I mean, so what's
he supposed to do with all this money? I mean,
how is he supposed to live? What is he he's
supposed to get elect I guess that's gonna give a
nail on boat with Michael.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
Me too, hear me, And I know he smoked to God, so.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
We're gonna put that in the air too. You're listening,

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
