All right, we are back. Um, if you're just joining us, Nephew,
Tommy is back and we're gonna find out where he's been.
We're so happy that you're back, Tommy. We didn't know
to say this. Hill Oh. I found out two days
after what had happened. And Tommy's been out, Now how long, ladies?

Maybe he'd been out a month and we've had a
lot of people where Tommy what, yeah, what he'd have did? Now? Well?
I know, yes, ladies and gentlemen, Nephew tom Man, how
do I even start? Um? Thank God, that's first and foremost.
(00:48):
M come all right, so, uh, let me see if
I can paint the pictures for you. Everybody knows I'm
a I'm a guy that likes to work out all
the time. I try to keep myself in shape. So
my trainer actually got me a stretcher who stretches you
once a week. So this guy was stretching me and
found a lump on my neck and he had to

push way out. He send, you got a lump on
your neck. You might want to get that checked out.
I said, all right, cool, so I go get it
checked out, go to my primary doctor. And he says,
I don't know, but let's be safe. He sends me
to a your nose and throat doctor. Your nose and
throat doctor drains and then says, I think that's a cist.
So he drains. He said, but let's be safe, and
he sends me to another doctor. They get a biopsy.
(01:34):
He said, we're gonna take some sales and see what
we get there. I don't get a call back. So
I'm in Miami shooting, ready to love. It's May eighteen.
My wife is there with me. We're having a good time.
Doctor calls and says, you have thyroid cancer. And I'm
just on the set. Man. I can't believe. If my
wife wouldn't have been with me that day, I don't
think I would have made it through. So I have
(01:57):
been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. You got my surgery done
in August to twenty fourth. They completely got it, every
bit of this cancer out of me. While they were
in there removing my thyroid, they found more cancer in
my esophagus and cleaned all that out. So I told
(02:19):
my wife when I closed my eyes, I say, I
just want to wake up, but I just want to
see you looking at me. That's all I want. I
woke up. Wife was looking dead at me. She said,
you're good boy. You made it through. Every little bit
of it is gone. All up. It your cancer free.
You don't even know chemotherapy, noney that you're good. But
(02:40):
I don't know that they had to go through my esophagus,
she said. But then she said, but I say, what
is the butt? She said, you have a track in
your in your in your throat and it's gonna have
to be there for a minute. So I had to
have that for about three weeks. And I am at
(03:01):
this point cancer free. I am. You know, my voice
has been through a struggle, so now it's slowly coming back.
But by the grace of God, man, I'm still here.
I'm blessed. I think this is probably one of them.
This is the biggest task I've ever had in my
(03:22):
life ever. And I'm grateful for for you guys, a
radio family brand, for me just being able to have
a job like this that allowed me to go do
something like that, and and you got my back, man,
So I'm I'm grateful. It's amazing when God puts you
(03:43):
in time out and tell you you gotta wait for
a minute and put you on mute, and I've been
on mute for about a month and I'm slowly coming back.
So um, I don't know any other way to tell you, man,
just to hear Steve said all the time that God

is into pleasing business. And uh, okay, yes sir, yes, okay,
it's okay. We're so glad you're back. Yeah, wow, okay,
well we're so A voice is getting strong each day,
so it's just it's just a matter of time before
(04:24):
yea bo i get back to cussing and clowning and
pranking folks. You but yeah, and he may not have
been able to talk to us, but you were texting,
and I have noticed that you haven't cussed since you've
been back in me a little bit out know, you
(04:46):
probably don't want to waste none of your voice on
something ignorant words. But looking forward to the day where
you're full blasting back to custing, that's crazy, man, because
like you know, man, you don't you don't ever know
what's going on with people around you. You know what
I'm saying. You know, you could be just going along,
whistling along and then this thing called life come up, man,

and uh, it's just like you know glad you're back, man,
because like it ain't the same when you ain't here,
you know, oh and you wasn't here then Junior miss
the week because Junior went offer, oh you just you
just relead just people just come up missing. You just
(05:31):
be leading people miss well you know you know, I
mean we can come up missing. I see. I based
it on track record, so I already knew was nothing wrong.
But then something really was wrong because I went, ain't
I ain't gonna be morning and all this ain't theing wrong?
And then I found out something really was wrong, and
(05:52):
then why you was gonna Junior went away four a week,
didn't tell nobody nothing, just going for a week. Then
his last came back time and her right now, oh snap,
this little food went off. He went off and got married.
So now all of all the comedians it's gone. Time.
I was here by myself. I just had to just man,
(06:14):
I was just doing what I wanted to do. You know,
Junior asked, man, wasn't doing sports or nothing? You know,
he needed marital advice. Yeah, so now all of his
Junior's on your mind. Yeah we are every morning. It's
been that. So to have you back, man, as a joy.
(06:34):
We're gonna talk about a little bit more this morning
because your story can be inspirational and help a lot
of people. And I think it's a story that need
peting and told because God is in the blessing business.
Because you know, man, a lot of people get that
diagnosis and you and you know, and and they ain't
here no more. Right, Hello, that's how good God? Amen again?
