the day on this Monday. And it's been a good day.
It's been a fun day. We've had a good time.
Steve to close us.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Out, No, not really, you know, Shirley, you know, it's
Thanksgiving week and I want everybody to trying to, you know,
be be aware of this week, and you know, be
be considerate this week.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Thanksgiving comes, but once a year.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
It's a holiday that I love, and I love what
I love.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
I don't won't listen to me.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Okay, don't come to my house with nothing you saw
on Instagram or TikTok.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
Don't don't. I don't want that. Oh my god, don't
come in here.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Don't come in here with nothing new or new way
I found this recipe. You know, it's a lot of
young people in my family, a lot of millennials, and I.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
Just I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
I just my kids and they friends and they are, hey,
mister Harvey, want you to try this.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
I may eat this. Well, I'm not here to try.
We don't try. Oh, thank you. Rude to the kids,
we do, No.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
I'm really rude to my kids, they friends, whoever they
bring over there. My friends got friends. That's thirty twenty
some years old. No, I'm nothing to listen to me.
Don't try something on another day. Like you come over
one Thursday and you got something, you try bring it
on over. Thanksgiving is not the Thursday. It's not the

(01:39):
day to be playing with this food.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
Uh it's.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
So what's this one side dish that I guess you
can't do without?

Speaker 3 (01:51):
But thanks dressing? Dressing.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
You have to have this dressing, and it's got to
be right. Yeah, dressing is not stove. If that's what
you're doing, don't don't come over here. Marjorie makes the dressing.

Speaker 4 (02:13):
So if if you got turkey, mac and cheese, greens, yam,
sweeptato dressings, no dressing, there's no way.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
There's no way, because I'm looking around the house because
I don't do no cooking. The only thing I've ever
cooked and contributed on Thanksgiving was the yams. Okay, because
I make some, I make the bomb candy. Yet I
know what I'm doing.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
For marshmallow.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
See right there. You don't come over there with no marshmo.
Don't come over there with them whipped, don't don't don't
blend them.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
I mind coming slices.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Oh, okay, slices and half slices don't come in here,
don't don't put it in chunks.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
Mm hmmmmm. Slices in my family? Are you going to
make that?

Speaker 4 (03:19):
No?

Speaker 2 (03:20):
No, my daughter has learned how to do him. Lorie
does them really well, her grandmama's specialty. But Marjorie, mama
and Marjorie do all the cooking.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
Okay. We have a chef and he from uh, he
from uh one of you know what? He good? He
We got him trained.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
He made a lot of mistakes in the beginning because
they don't do thanks Giving.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
In South Africa. H you got a turkey from? Yeah?
I got two of them? Key, Now any more questions?

Speaker 2 (03:56):
That's important. We don't got to have that. But uh
why how I did do one time? And he did
Thanksgiving And one of the biggest.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
Mistakes he was a chef. What guy? He was a chef? Yeah,
he was a chef man. He didn't understand Thanksgiving. He
had a turkey.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
How do you not understand things?

Speaker 3 (04:20):

Speaker 2 (04:23):
All that, no web But oh, I got you, I
got we the only want to do that. Yeah, Thanksgiving
over here. They wide open.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
It's thursdaything.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
No no, and it's a one American restaurant over here
called Butcher and Steel.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
And the guy that runs and he's from Kansas City.

Speaker 2 (04:48):

his restaurant because he know how to do it, the dressing,
the turkey, everything, We've had it there. A couple of Thanksgivings.
But you're instill. He's a very good guy. But it's
some people. It's some people that don't need to be
involved in Thanksgiving.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
This dude came up.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Man and said, I decided for Thanksgiving you all would
enjoy some grilled sea bass.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
I said, but where's the turkey? Excuse me? No, no, no, no,
excuse that anything handsome?

Speaker 2 (05:24):
Excuse me, that's not a Thanksgiving response, I said, where's
the turkey?

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (05:32):
Huh?

Speaker 3 (05:33):
Do you know this man did not fix a turkey?
What so you're you're you're all about tradition. Don't change
the menu for what it only happens on a year.
