Speaker 1 (00:01):
Ladies and gentlemen.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Here we go another day, another opportunity, another chance, another
gift from God.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
That's all it is. Man. You just got to look
at it that way.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
So let's just get it started, man, because today is
a great day.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
Thank you Lord for this day. All right, let's roll.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Charloon Starberry called for real Mississippi Monica Jr. And the
legendary is nephew Thomas Jr. Yeah, what's on your mind today?

Speaker 1 (00:28):
Man? Yeah, I'm gonna ask you about this uncle. Who's
the dangers of being?

Speaker 2 (00:34):
What happens to people when they get bitter and they
get angry about the situation when they're trying to be successful?
What's the what happens to a person like that?

Speaker 1 (00:41):
What is the dangers of that?

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Well, bitterness, I've found comes from two things. A person
becomes bitter because they're holding on to they past, or
they become bitter because they not accomplish their future now.
And both of them have something to do with them.
And both of those are situations that this bitter person

(01:07):
created themselves. You know, my father used to say something
to me all the time about being mad about something.
He said, you got two choices, son, you can get
over it, or you can die mad. Now which one
you want to do. And that's where you have to
draw the line with a lot of people. There are
a lot of people who just pick the option to

(01:32):
stay mad, to stay angry, to keep dwelling on the
hurt or the disappointment of something that has already happened.
You see it all the time, and what you got
to be careful of, folks, especially when you see it
coming from famous people.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Let me tell you something about famous people.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
Famous people, when you take the word famous off of it, people,
that's all they are. They are subject to the same
things you are subjected to.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
Grief, loss, pain, hurt, joy, sorrow, glee, happiness, regret, all
of that.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
So be very careful when you put your faith in people.
When you oh, well, this is what they did. No,
just because they did and they famous, don't make it right.
Just because I do something because I'm famous, it don't
make it right. Man, Know the truth for your own self.
You can't hold on to the past. You will become bitter,
especially if the past was negative. Now here's the other

(02:46):
cause of bitterness. I ain't where I want to be yet.
Now you mad, I should have beensh I should have
been and made it. By now I'm over forty and
I still ain't got no house.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
Okay, you do. You have somewhere to live, don't you.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
But instead of you being bitter, like we talked about
the other day, why don't you take accountability for the
decisions that you made that got yourself where you are
and make the change. You don't have to be bitter.
But bitterness solves nothing, man. And don't nobody like being
around a bitter person?

Speaker 1 (03:21):
All right?

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Nobody likes a better person here? They come everything wrong?
God damn man. So you're still telling them jokes theeve? Yeah, yes,
I thought you'd beating Ran for office by now.

Speaker 1 (03:37):

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
