Ladies and gentlemen. It is here that Steve Harvey Morning
Show us upon us. It's all the way, live in,
living and vivid color. All of the performers on this
show possess skin, pigment of color, different levels to it.
It is all beautiful. Black is beautiful. That's a fact.

That's not a question. It is what it is. It
has been one of the great accomplishment and joys of
my life to be who I am. I thank God
for with all this oppressive moments, heartbeat, heart breaks and disappointments,
I have survived them all. It's made me strong and

Lord have mercy. I would have never made it without soul.
I thank the Lord for soul. Soul is the essence
of who I am. Whenever it get dark, for me,
outside of prayer, I rely on soul. Soul, cooking, soul, food,

soul sayings, so active soul handled. Those of you who
have it know exactly what I'm talking about. Charlie Strawberry
calling for real Mouth of the South, Junior legend, Nephew,
Tommy Junior, what's on your mind this morning? Man? He

let me add summer sixty five years man, would you
would have did it? Any different to be where you're
at today. Do you ever have feel like you had
to do it different? Oh? Do I wish I could
have done it different? Yeah? Yeah? Oh, boll I can
tell you the stuff I wish I could have skipped. Yeah.

Some of those valuable lessons were just a little bit
too value. Some of them lessons was a little too
well learned. Of them, things I went through I thought
was stretched out a bit. Yeah. I was looking at
God going, hey, hey, hey, I know you tested me,

but what is this about? I said, I got it? Yeah,
clearly he felt differently. So do I wish some things
were happened differently? Yes? But then when I look at
the totality of what I am and who I am,
I wouldn't be this without all those moments. So I

needed those moments. And that's why when you ask God
for something, he never tells you what it's gonna cost
to attain it. He never shows you the whole path
of what it required, because if he did, we would
all say that's okay, I want something else. Because if
you knew to the where you are today that you

(02:56):
was gonna have take the route you took, Yes, sir,
if he'd have told you you was gonna meet her
on him if he'd have told you that decision you
made was gonna cause this ripple effect. That's why he

never tells. He never shows you the path. He just
allows you to dream and have the vision and let
that spur you on to greatness. That's the answer to
