He says, my girlfriend and I have been together for
almost six years, and she recently told me something that
really hit me hard. We were talking about how we
felt distant lately, and she casually says, quote, I love you,
but I'm not attracted to you like I used to be.
She says, I'm her best friend and she doesn't want

to lose me. But since that conversation, everything feels weird
between us. Even just giving her a hug feels empty. Now,
we started going to therapy together to try to figure
out if we can make it work, and I'm trying
to stay positive about it, but honestly, this really hurts.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
I don't know if I.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Should keep trying to fix things or is it over
which your girlfriend?

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Yeah? Waitmen, waitmen, I'm going to therapy with my girlfriend
of almost six years. Yeah almost yeah, six years.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Yeah, they've been boy sixteen years.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
I'm going to therapy with my girlfriend. I don't think
so if we can't be boyfriend and girlfriend, how we're
gonna be man and wife. You need therapy to be
a boyfriend and a girlfriend. Something wrong with this relationship

y'all trying to put a square peg in a circle
and that's not how it worked. Hey, dog, if you're
not attracted to me, that's cool. I'm gonna get another
girlfriend and let her get another boyfriend that she is
attracted to. You're not finna tell me you're not attracted.
See I've been scarred like that.

I was gonna say what happened, and I'm not going
to the story, tell the story what happened to you.

And triggery to the junior prom prom.

And she said, and she said no, And I just
decided to ask her why.

Yeah, you wanted I just wanted to.

Know why, if you could do something to change.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
And she said, because I don't like your facial features. No,
I be, I be you talking about You know this
is nineteen seventy one, seventy two. I had no money

for plastic surgery.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
I had never heard. They hadn't even advanced plastic surgery
like this. No more. You couldn't get a note. Y'all
you get was a face lift back.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Then you could just get your whole face pulled back
behind your ears.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
They have your ears on the back of your head somewhere.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
That's all I had, and she told me, I don't
like your facial features. Guess what I had to do.
I had to move home, and now you have to move.
She's not attracted to you.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Yeah, that's what she said.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Well she she used to be. Did he just get big?
Maybe didn't go to the man. Just don't look in
the mill. Don't go look look in the mill.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
It's like she did say I'm liking that bid. She
did say I love you. She did say that.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Yeah, But but it don't matter.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
Yeah, if it ain't and it don't matter at that point,
you've already been if if our co host Tommy what
you just go in the bathroom mirror and look close
and just look close and analyze.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
And walk away and say the truth.

But no one ever said that to you.

Speaker 3 (03:53):

It ain't what people say, it's what people do. Ask
him when the last time he walked in the room
and a bunch of women said, god, dog, he find

Yeah, yeah, lady, Yeah she did. One of our loyal listeners,
a woman came up to Tommy and said wow. She
was like, you are fine. I don't care what Steve
Harvey said.

Excuse she did. She was at a breast cancel walk.
