now that Thanksgiving is over, it's on to Christmas. Thanksgiving
was busy enough, but I had no clue about the
number of Christmas parties my wife had committed to committed
us to. When she laid out the list. There were
nine of them. And that doesn't include the work party

that I will have to go to.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
This is way too much. Nine parties.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
I need to get my wife to cut this list
down significantly before I approach her with this conversation. Morning crew,
Please tell me how many Christmas parties are enough.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
Well, I don't know what you're gonna have to do,
but you don't have to get a you gotta get
a positive COVID test.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
What what?

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Yeah, when we'll get out of the Christmas party, you're
gonna have to get a positive COVID test though, you
gotta get sick.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Yeah, there's no way. He could just have a regular
conversation with his wife.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
Oh, you have it, but she committed to this.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
He's at least got to go to the office party
with her.

Speaker 4 (01:09):
Well, he's going to the two office parties. Got to
do that.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Yeah, Okay, nine to excessive. It's very much.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
My wife would have never done that because she don't
want to do that.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
Nine Christmas.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Or if you commit to the nine, you just know
your husband going to too.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
Yeah, I can't think of nine people I.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
Like, I don't like you?

Speaker 4 (01:37):
Well, how many is on the show you love everyone?

Speaker 3 (01:40):
I'm not coming to y'all Christmas party, I'm.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
No, Junior. Ain't nobody coming.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
To your house on Junior piet because you're over there
choking people. So no, we're not coming to your house.
Argue about who daddy or the mama, and then and
then and then and then retensary.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
Over there, crime and all like that. Ain't nobody but
back to you, Steve.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
You're gonna give us a Christmas party? You used to
do that.

Speaker 4 (02:13):
What happened?

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Well? Bonuses, all of that.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
Well, you know, things ain't what they used to be.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
You know what.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Inflation, prices, aging.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
Crime, you know, trumpet off them towns. That Christmas party?

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Yeah, sit over here, putting all them tales on everybody.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
We came from. Bonuses.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Yeah we've had yeah, oh.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
Yeah, oh yeah, so we ain't had a bonus?

Speaker 4 (02:46):
Is Junior been here not one? How long?

Speaker 3 (02:51):
Trying to have a whole nother family people not liking you. Yeah,
Junior salary cut into the bonus structure.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
What oh is that how it happened?

Speaker 3 (03:06):
Well, you know Junior, y'all bonuses was I had to
pay him out a summer. Then when I had to
start paying Junior, that was the bonus structure.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Oh okay, bye, nice knowing you, Junior.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Nice working with you.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
It is by groceries, no eggs, no baked gas. All right,
we have time for another one, Steve. This is from
Angel on Steve Harvey. F M. Angel says, my my,
my mom has always.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Struggled with relationships.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
She and my dad split when I was a teenager,
and from my perspective, he was a great guy.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
She should have tried harder to hold on to.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Since then, she's had one bad relationship after another until
usually because she pushes away the good ones and clings
to men who treat her poorly. Now She's finally with
a genuinely nice guy, and I'm terrified she's going to
mess this up too. From the outside, it seems so
obvious how she sabotages her own happiness, but she can't

see it.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
I want to.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Protect her and help her keep something healthy for once.
But I have no idea how to get her to
recognize her own patterns and avoid her hurting.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
Yeah, well it's her, Yeah, it's her. It may not
even be the guys. It could just be her. Yeah
that's what yah mintle she Oh you can't help.
