Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, Steve, it's time to check your voicemail. If

(00:02):
you want to leave Steve a voicemail, call him eight
seven seven twenty nine. Steve, eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve,
let's go to the first caller. Her name is Michelle.
She's from Greenville, Mississippi.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Tay, Steve. My name is Michelle. I'm from Greenville, Mississippi.
I was driving and listening to your closing remarks and
it almost brought me to tears. I had this exact
same conversation your closing remarks mentioned with my son yesterday,
and I googled him, and I hope it's somewhere online
that he can actually listen to let him know it's
just not me talking. That it is true statements that

(00:36):
are from people you don't even know in person. But
I thank you for that, and I pray that my
son listens to that message, because Steve, he is so lost.
He's only twenty two, and I believe I'm about to
lose my child. But thank you so very much.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Bye, thank you.

Speaker 4 (00:51):
I believe you're talking about the one where pastor Will,
the one that we played the phone call the other day,
and you followed up with that talking about God, and
it was very moving what you were saying. So I
believe this is what Miss Michelle from Mississippi was referring to.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Well, thanks, but keep praying for your son though he
ain't totally lost. Don't ever give up on prayer. Prayer
change is thing. Prayer change people too.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
That's right, all right, Steve. As we move on, this
caller needs some relationship advice about trusting a cheating husband.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Well, hey, Steve, sometime hopeing for some information and advice
from you.

Speaker 4 (01:31):
I was a victim of infidelity.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
I'm not going to say a victim.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
I'm going to say my husband he did on me.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
I'll just say that.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
And it's been several years and I.

Speaker 4 (01:43):
Decided to stay and we're working it out.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
But I just don't trust them. Can you give me
some advice on how I can start trusting my husband again.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
I really love him, I want us to stay together,
but I just I just don't trust.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Them, and I really want.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
To thank you.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Well, I don't know the exact answer to that, to
be honest with you, because there's so many particulars when
you get into things like this, but one thing is
if your husband's behavior has changed, then it could mean
as it has been a change in him. Now, if
you're going to hang on to these feelings that you have,

(02:25):
there's nothing I or anybody else can do, because if
you're going to stay in that feeling for whatever the reason, now,
you may be very legitimized in that feeling now because
that maybe you've see a reoccurring pattern which causing you
not to fully trust again, or maybe your intuition is

(02:45):
telling you something is still happening even though you see
a little bit of change. See, I don't know what
that is. So I really can't advise you on this,
but you cannot live your life in an untrusting atmosphere.
You just can't. That's hard to do for anybody to

(03:09):
keep walking in a door into a home. That's not
a peaceful existence for you. And I got you wanted
to work, But you got to ask yourself a couple
of questions. Is this my soul mate? You gotta ask
yourself that am I staying in this simply because I've

(03:29):
been in it? Because a lot of people don't want
to leave a relationship because the time they have invested
in it, right, And then I always ask people the
same question, Well, I've been with him eight years and
if I just leave it all be for nothing. Well,
let me ask you this question. Do you want eight
more years or the previous eight years? You got to
ask that question too, Yes, I can't. Yeah that time. Yeah, yeah,

(03:55):
you hang on to that time instead of hanging on
to what you want or what you do deserve.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
But on the other side of that, Steve, with just
a few seconds left, if he has cheated, can he
change his ways?

Speaker 3 (04:09):
Absolutely?

Speaker 1 (04:11):
She wants to women.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
Have you all up spreading bad information? Once a cheatah,
always a Cheatah. That's not true. People change and get
it right all the time. Once a thief don't make
you always a thief.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Okay, all right, I just wanted you to point that out.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
A hold on real quick, like that dude on TikTok's head.
Just because I cheated one time, I'm a cheater if
I cut your hat one time in my bable yeah
right now, all right, okay.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
All right. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
