Speaker 1 (00:00):
Steve, I know you have some words of wisdom to
take us out.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Yeah, you know. I've often asked how I got to
where I am. I always give credit to God for that.
I'm often asked if I wasn't doing this, what would
I do? I'm often asked how does it feel to
be in the position that I'm in. I get oftentimes asked,

(00:28):
what would you suggest for me as a way to
acquire the things in life I want? I'm often asked
so many questions from so many angles. The one consistent
thing I know, if you have any desire to be
successful or happy, whatever it is you decide to do,
if you decide to change, if you decide to do more,

(00:50):
be more, understand one thing. It's going to be hard.
I think you have to put that thought process together
in your mind. I think you have to start thinking
about it in terms of that because a lot of
times people, when you look at Instagram and social media,
it looks easy. It ain't they It's easy to take
a picture with the right angle, with the right light,

(01:12):
with the right filter, with the right bag, with the
right car, with the right house, with the right poles,
with the right makeup. That's easy, But really being that
that would be hard. And everybody you see portraying that
ain't really that because they didn't put in the stuff
behind it. See, what you don't know is that's their

(01:33):
only person, that's their only look, that's their best dress.
That ain't they car that might not be their house.
That's probably a filter. So understand something. If you're making
up in your mind to change, to be more, to
do more, it's hard. It's hard. It's really really hard.

(01:55):
Listening to me, open a business is hard to do.
But staying on the job, working for somebody that don't
like you, that's hard too. It's hard. It's really really hard.
Biggie said that. He said more money, more problems. People
don't realize that, but it comes with a whole new

(02:15):
set of issues. So it is hard being financially secure.
It is hard to be rich. It is hard to
be well off. It's hard to be financially secure. But
guess what, it's hard to be polled to. It is hard.
It is hard to go to the gym and get
yourself in tip top shape. It's really hard to get

(02:38):
yourself back to the shape you really want to be in.
After you then got our shape it's really hard. But
I got news for you. It's hard being out of
shape too. You see, it's hard either way. The decisions
you make in life are hard. You just got to
pick your herd, which one you won't. I happen to

(02:58):
choose the hard that at least provides me with an option.
You know, if you don't like people telling you what
to do, if you don't like being bossed around, then
you're gonna have to go open up a business. Now.
I know that's hard, But ain't it hard every day
going down to a job you don't like that don't

(03:19):
pay you what you worth to, mistreats you, that undervalues you.
Ain't that hard? Yes? Hard? So you gotta make up
your mind, y'all, which hard do you want? It's hard
to get in shape, Yeah, I got it. It's listen.
It's hard to eat right. It's hard to pick the
right foods to put in your mouth because sometimes it

(03:40):
just don't taste as good as the bad stuff. But
guess what, it's hard to eat bad too, because when
you eat bad, it got a consequence to it. What
I'm saying, it's whatever you decide to do, whatever decision
you've made, good or bad. It gonna come with the
consequences of hard. You just got to pick your heart.
I would rather pick the hard that has some positive

(04:03):
outlook or at least creates an option for me. I
would rather take the hard part of trying to eat
right than just eating whatever I want to and suffering
the consequences of what comes behind eating badly. I would
rather go get my blood work done and go see
these doctors than to sit up and wait till it's
too late and somebody give me some bad news and

(04:23):
now it's too late to fix. Come on, y'all. I
know it's hard, but make the decision that will give
you an option. Make the decision that will empower you.
Make the hard decision that will make you better. That's
the decision you have to make. The other one is
not really good. Man. Listen to me. It's so hard

(04:47):
that I'm asking you, and I'm telling you ahead of time.
It's hard, but it's hard if you don't. It is
hard to chase your dreams. It is hard to pursue
your dreams and your visions. But you know, it's really
hard dying and never being the person that God created

(05:08):
you to be. Dying and never doing the thing that
you were born to do. That's hard. So once again,
whatever decision you make out there, folks, it's gonna be hard,
but check this out. Pick the hard that has a
benefit to it. Pick the hard that offers you an option.

(05:33):
Pick the hard that when you succeed at it, you
can look back and go mad. It was hard, but
it was worth it. It was hard, but it was
worth it. Those are my clothing remarks today. If you
didn't like those remarks, tune in tomorrow. We'll try it again.

(05:55):
