You know. I was thinking this because I had a
conversation yesterday with a young person at family feud. And listen,
I know I've often said this before that it's hard
to be successful, it really really is, and it's hard
to do the right thing, it really really is. But

can I tell you something now, and this is important
for people to bear. You play a huge part in
all of this. You play a huge part in your
success or in your lack of success, and you have

(00:45):
to take responsibility for that. You have a say so
in the direction and the path your life is on.
You have a say so. Why because God gives us
the power of choice. Were the only animal he created
that has complete power of choice. They've given it to
the point now where And this isn't me having a

(01:07):
negative to say anything. It's just but there are people now,
we are so in a choose your own society. You
can now choose your pronoun so. Now, if you can
do that, you have a say so in everything. So
let's stop shucking the part that we are responsible for,

(01:30):
because you are and you are very much responsible for
the position you are all in. Because we are all
in the position we are in today because of a
series of decisions that we made. So just understand that
it has a lot to do with you. Now, you
can point the finger all you want, So and so

(01:51):
did this to me. Somebody left me, they fired me
at my job. All of these can be true, but
that's the ten percent that happens to you. The ninety
percent is what you do about what happens to you,

(02:12):
and that is why you have a huge responsibility in
all of this. Nobody gets through this thing scott free.
Nobody doesn't gets through this life without problems and hurdles
and setbacks and trials and tribulations and let downs. Nobody
escapes that. It's called life. But you have got to

(02:34):
take responsibility for that. And once you take responsibility, it
allows you to change. Because you can't change what people
say about you. You can't stop what they think about you,
you can't stop what they saying, doing, writing, texting, line blogging,
you can't stop all of that. But you have a

(02:57):
direct say so in how you look at it, how
you deal with it, and how you and how you
go about your business behind it. All of this is
your responsibility. So while you pointing your finger, you know
they're saying is why you point your finger. That's three
of them pointing back at you. What is your role
in this? What is your role in your life? And

(03:20):
I'm going to tell you what your role in your
life is. It's big. It's big. Now. The suggestion that
I can give you to help you with your role
in life is to make your partner God. If you
give God permission to be the architect and the author

(03:41):
of your life, you now have a business partner that
is of such value. See my business partner is God.
So when you kick me and it looked like I'm down,
I turn it over to God. When I'm faithd with
decisions and I don't know what to do, I turn

(04:03):
it over to God. When I get let down, when
I get written off, when I don't know when the
next one is coming, I turn it over to God,
who happens to be my business partner, and I allow
him to order my steps, to direct my path, to

(04:27):
provide me the strength to withstand whatever I'm currently having
to deal with now, and to keep me strong enough.
So when we get through this, I understand the purpose
of it. I get the lesson from it, and I
get the blessing from it. And sometimes you need your

(04:48):
partner to just strengthen you to get through it. It's
not gonna always work out the way you want it to,
but it can still work out though, because you have
a role in this thing, y'all, a very very important role.
It's you. So stop making it about everybody else. Stop

(05:14):
blaming the set of circumstances for why you are, why
you are where you are. You okay, Yeah, it happened.
I got that. It happened. We got to deal with it.
Stop blaming other people for why you are where you are. No, man,
somewhere down the line, you made a decision. If somebody

(05:36):
left you in a bad position, you know you made
the decision to be with that person, don't you? Can
you just bad that? It's okay, man. We all make mistakes, everybody, me, President, Chancellor,
your teachers, your ministers, everybody make mistakes. Get up, talk

(06:00):
to God, tell him what you need, share it with
him and wait on him and wait on his response,
because he got one. He has an answer and is
usually a good one. Now you have a say so
in this thing, so get to have and you'll say so.
And the best person to do it with is God
for all.
