we also want to send our condole and says out
to the family of Harry Bellafonte, singer, activist, entertainer extraordinaire.
Mister Belafonte was ninety six. He passed away of congestive
heart failure.

Steve, Yeah, yeah, I met him Matthew Apollo theater. Wow.
And he knew me because I went up to introduce myself.
He said, Steve Harvey, how you doing?

He said, Man, you just wanted you your cool cat.

Man.

I really like what you're doing. Man, keep doing what
you're doing. You're gonna be all right. I said, Man,
it's such an honor. Man. I want to thank you
for everything you've done. He was a hell of a
civil rights activist. Yes, yes, you know his music is acting.
Yeah yeah, yeah, But what he loved black people. Man,

he loved people. Geechee dang Uptown Saturday Night, your favorite
movie down. The funniest scene was when they was trying
to put Sidney Poitier and Bill Cosby in the trunk
of that car. Let me tell you something. Man was

working trying to get Bill Cosby and Sidney Poitier in
the trunk and that car. The way they set that
camera shot up and the way they was going back
and forth, man trying to put them in that trunk
and they was fighting last man last, I hollered, laughing.

That was a movie that broke racial barriers to Steve
during that time.

But but you wouldn't still they broke no down.

Yeah movie, you wouldn't like it because.

They hell no, yeah, it was hell no, hell no.
It was great acting to win they started.

Hell for his love, Carmen Jones, Yes, he did. Yeah,
condolences yes, absolutely, Sherry.

Daughter, Yeah, uh, in her own right.

Social justice program, gathering for justice, gathering for Harry, all
of these political social movements, like you said, Steve he
loved black people. Jesse loved it.
