Speaker 1 (00:00):
My closing remarks today is to encourage people. You know, listen,
I don't care how it goes. I mean, look, first
of all, let me rephrase that I care how it
goes into government. I care what our leadership does. I
care about policies being made. I care about how it

(00:21):
affects people, especially the common man.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
But let me say this about it.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
I have positioned myself, and I'm not talking about finance
or anything like that. I'm talking about spiritually. I have
positioned myself spiritually why I'm able to cope and handle
whatever comes my way.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Now.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
My favorite scripture is Isaiah fifty four seventeen. No weapon
formed against me shall prosper. But now understand something. That
does not mean that there will not be weapons formed.
They do it all the time. You all face haters
all the time, and haters are on every level. You

(01:09):
don't have to have done anything to them. You don't
have to even know you or enemies. Just here it come.
But no weapon formed against me show prosper. Now you
can form it. But I have news for you. I
have positioned myself spiritually while I am fully aware that
I am under the protected wings of God Almighty, and

(01:33):
that he loves me, and that there's nothing you can do.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
There is no force, there is no curse, there is no.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Evil, there is no satanic power that can separate me
from the love of God. That's how much God loves
you that there's nothing that can separate you for it. Now,
we as human being, we have the power of decision.
Now you can decide to keep God as a presence

(02:07):
in your life, or you can choose not to. I
am here to tell you right now it is in
your best interest to keep God as a permanent presence
in your life, not just for when you're in trouble,
but when it's going aok to keep Him in your life,
to stay in constant contact with him.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
I haven't always done that.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
That's how I know what I'm talking about, because when
I decided to do it, it just made my life
a lot smoother. And I am telling you, if you
keep God's presence in your life, it will help you
in so many levels. It provides you with the level
of peace. Because I'm telling you something. If you are
trying to do this without God, I got news for you.

(02:48):
You ain't that nice, You not you ain't that big.
You ain't that knowing you ain't that powerful, You really
ain't that nice man. This thing called life it requires

(03:08):
a very present help. Now listen to me. Your relationship
with God is very personal. You don't have to be
a member of this faith, this church, this denomination, this religion.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
You got to have a relationship with God.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
You can start by simply forming it, by talking to him.
You don't have to be on your knees. Just go somewhere,
man for a moment and just think about him and
call on him. If you say his name, Father, God,
if you say Jesus, it has an impact.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
He hears you. He hears you immediately.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Here the cool thing about God, y'all, there is no
busy signal, there is no life, there's no ticket necessary.
He is just available. He wants to have a relationship
with you. He created you to have a relationship with you. Now,

(04:14):
everybody's relationship is different, everybody's situation is different, everybody's walk
is different. Yours is very unique to you. I had
to come to terms say that about my life. Stop
comparing yourself to somebody else. The road that God has
you on is very very unique to you. Nobody has

(04:38):
ever traveled the exact path nobody has the exact same fingerprint.
That's how unique God made each one of us. So
stop looking at how somebody got it. Somebody did it,
somebody accomplished it. It was given to somebody. Man, you
don't know what the deal is behind that story, but
you have a chance to write your own own story.

(05:01):
And the best way to write this story is to
have relationship with God, because the pen becomes a lot
easier when God is controlling it for you. I think
the number one thing that I had to learn was
to trust in God's timing and his will. You know,
I used to be kind of hesitant to say, God,
let your will be done because I thought he was

(05:23):
going to x out a bunch of stuff I wanted
to do. And that's really why I didn't want his
will to be done in my life, because I just
didn't want him to ex out a bunch of stuff
I had plans to do. But boy, the older I got,
the more I learned his plans is way better than
your plans, and some of that stuff I didn't want

(05:45):
him to ex out it needed to be gone anyway.
It's amazing the time I've spent dedicated to foolishness.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
I look back on it.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
Man, boy, I'm so glad that I finally got sick
of me. And if you at that point right now,
then join in with me and put some God in
your life, because sometimes you just get sick of you.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
Show stupid behind.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Get over there and let God help you, man, because
you've been messing it up.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
I know I was. Take that into consideration, y'all have.
