Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, guys, here we are, last break of the day.
It's been a fun day, it really.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Boy. You got me today. Boy, I ain't been like,
I ain't been bent over it.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
And like that fire today, I truly needed today too.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Yeah, I got. I got some good sleep last night.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
All right, come on, close this out. You guys got questions, Tommy, Carl.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
You guys got a question.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
See where would you be if you hadn't followed your dream?

Speaker 2 (00:37):
You know that's so. I've often thought of that hundreds
of times, and I think that's important for people. I
don't know. I have some theories, but let me say this.
Let me start by saying this. If I had not
followed my dream, if it would have been one of

(01:00):
the greatest travesties I had ever committed. And the same
goals for anybody else. If you don't follow your dream,
if you don't do that thing that keeps you up
at night, if you don't pursue that thing that you

(01:23):
think about NonStop, I don't care what job you own.
Your mind gravitates back to this one thing. If I
could do this, if only I was this, This is
what I really want to be. This is what I
really want to do. If you ignore that, if you
let the complications of life interfere with that, if you

(01:48):
allow your credit score to get in the way, if
you allow your bills to get in your way, if
you allow your family to interfere with that, it will
be one of your great regrets in life. Bishop Jake
said one time something that really really resonated with me.

(02:11):
He said, I would hate to die and never do
the thing that I was born to do. There are
so many people who will leave this earth with their
gift packed away very neatly on their back in a backpack.

(02:34):
And people don't pursue their dreams for several reasons. But
the number one reason that people do not pursue their
dreams and go for the thing they after is fear.
Fear is the number one cause of failure in this world.
The fear of failure. Fear freezes you. What if it
don't work? What if I don't make it? What if

(02:58):
they say no? What if I get booed? What if
they don't like me? What if somebody already down there?
What if I lose everything? What happens to my career
if I pursue my dream? Okay, you can reason away

(03:22):
it if you want to. You can reason it away
if you want to. It would be one of the
greatest regrets of your life. I am so grateful that
I don't have to live a life of regret. If
you are in the regret stage of your life, get
out of it. If you ain't there. I wish I

(03:45):
would have wished I had a I should have could
have would have stop Stop today. It's never too late
to give God a chance. God is going to turn
your life around. Business. I've seen him do it to
too many people. I've seen God. He did it to me,

(04:07):
point blank. He did it to me, turn my life
completely around. Oftentimes, as Carler asked a question, what would
you be doing? I was thinking of the last positions
that I had. Worked at Ford Motor Company, worked at
Lincoln Electric, worked at Generally Electric. I had a carpet

(04:28):
cleaning company. I had a carpet installation company. I had
a reb joint with aj Jamaal. I had I sold
door to door insurance with a book, you know, an
account book. It was called a debit debit company, where
you your insurance man used to come by the house

(04:49):
and collect the premiums from your mammy. It was all
in the hood I had. I had that job, man, man,
none of that even compares to what I have today.
And here's the other thing. Stop trying to figure out

(05:12):
your whole life, because that's impossible to do. If I
had the ability when I left my last job to
pursue this business that I'm in today, had God showed
me the pathway that I would have to take, if
he had shown me the whole journey, It's no way

(05:34):
I would have signed up for this. I'd have stayed
right on back there, my nice little comfortable life. Because
man o, man o, man, he cannot expose to you
what you're going to have to go through, because everything
you go through is preparing you for what you want.

(05:56):
And the more you want, the greater the price, the higher. Now,
if you don't want nothing, then just don't want nothing,
and then it ain't nothing gonna happen to you. But
I don't know what I would do if I had
never pursued my dreams. I don't know what you would do.
And if you're in that process right now and you're
having a life of regret, stop you only got one life.

(06:18):
You go around one time. Stop, go do your life, man,
because you only get one shot at it. Have a
great one today, y'all talk to God today. He'd absolutely
love to hear from you. And your gift back to God.
God's gift to you is your gift. Your gift back
to God as the use of it. That's what you
need to consider, all right. Peace for all.
